The Internal Dimension
by Where would the spiritual realm reside? Could it reside within rather than without us?

What if the spiritual was within all of us but touched each of us? I am meaning that what if all spiritual or religious experience was internal to the person, but at the same time touched all people. So that when you might pray, it was internal to you – like speaking in a voice in your head and any reply also coming from within your head. The answer however might be something you could never come up with. The effects could be felt inside others. It would travel person to person without traveling outside people.
It would be like the spiritual dimension would be within all of us and not external and measurable out side of people, but still very real. When someone heard God, the voice would be real, but inside their head – but at the same time might be heard by others who were listening to their spiritual self, tuned into the spiritual dimension within.
When someone would do healing and draw energy to heal with, the energy would come from within and it would come from this internal dimension.
Would this dimension be based on organic life? Or would organic life simply be an interface with that dimension… Perhaps being spiritual rather than empirical we might not have an answer for that. Or perhaps this musing goes for naught. I think though it is an interesting exercise to think about and consider.
