Taking time for yourself is very important, just like eating and excerising; you should always take a few moments to meditate and clear your mind and body.

When Was The Last Time You Meditated
I am certainly guilty of getting distracted and not taking the time to relax my body and soul. That quiet time set aside for myself focusing on the beauty that surrounds me, or listening to a CD with sounds of the jungle and the animals that occupy the region.
If you meditate on a regular basic, the mind is clear making it easier to focus and concentrate. If your body is a peace your more relaxed and usually stressed. When you stop meditating your conscious and subconscious mind becomes overloaded, making the thinking pattern a bit more difficult to relax and focus.
Meditation is a way for us to reconnect with our inner self, relaxing and letting go of things that cause us stress and anxiety. When you start to meditate again, you begin to realize just how much you missed it; you must look at it as your special quiet time, for yourself. In a space that is totally yours and no one can invade it, you can image you are anywhere in the world. You could be on a beach in the tropics, or high in the mountains with the tress rustle at night, and the rays of sun coming through as the sun set after a long hard day. Now you are alone in your quiet place and nothing else really matters; as you clear your head and focusing on the necessary things in life.

Never forget to take the time that is rightfully yours!

Good advice. Run everyday which I think of as meditation.
