Gangs

There are some things that are the same in the 1960’s and now. One huge thing that hasn’t changed is gangs still remain; however, they have evolved – are bigger in numbers and stronger than ever. Gangs of today still do stuff that is bad such as stealing like back in the 1960s; however, they now are selling illegal drugs and the thing that is the most revolting is that they still cause death.  Another similarity is that some gangs are made out of just a group of friends that don’t really intend to hurt or disturb people but they do intend to steal sometimes. Much things have changed between the 1960’s and now. Some good and some bad, but one thing that changed in a bad way is gangs. Most people thought that the gangs of the world would have been gone by now but they haven’t and to make matters even worse gangs have become more violent and have gotten much more people to join them. Since the 1960’s gangs have changed. In the early 1960’s the gangs consisted of socs and greasers, which then broke down into little gangs. Greaser gangs fought against each other and sometimes grouped together to fight the socs, and the same thing with the socs. Around the late 1960’s the socs and greasers diminished and the birth of the worse gangs in our time and in somewhat their time the bloods and the crypts. Now bloods and crypts are still around and have gotten worse, causing even more violence and death. We the next generation should try hard to find a way to stop gangs once and for all.
