Just a quick note: The article mentioned “Crypts vs Bloods”.
The first gang was originally called “Cribs”….the members then
thought it’d be classy to carry canes or walking sticks. This
gave them the appearance of “Cripples”. Shortened to “Crips”.
Although, with all the gang violence and deaths, “Crypts” might
inadvertently be correct.
