This article is full of misinformation and government propaganda, rendering it not just useless in terms of legitimate information, but dangerous in its dissemination of outright lies. All of which is why those who let their government think for them just lap it up. Obviously, the author is one of those who cannot think for themselves and is pretending to write a balanced article. You cannot, however, write a balanced article when including false information to represent one *side* of an argument.

Anyone who is interested in FACTS can easily do a search and learn the real history of both the plant, its uses throughout history and the REAL reasons it became illegal and remains illegal. Here's a hint: GREED on the part of Corporate America.

I'm always particularly entertained by those who think it's a *sin*. Here is a plant that has amazing medical properties such as curing some cancers, relieving glaucoma pressure, relieving pain, etc., makes superior paper that requires far less chemicals and processing and is far more recyclable and lasts hundreds of years longer than wood pulp paper, makes completely emission-less biofuel, biodegradable plastic, superior fabric, restores the integrity of farming soil, removes radioactivity from soil (it has been planted around Chernobyl), the seeds are a superfood.....to name just a FEW of its uses. I would call THAT a gift from the same God those of you who let the government think for you say *hates* cannabis. Equally entertaining are people who assume to know what God thinks or likes beyond what has already been established....as if they are God's personal confidante. As in....nowhere in any written record is there any indication that God either likes, dislikes, approves or disapproves of any use of cannabis whatsoever.

Just take a walk into your local hospital at the weekends and see how many drunks are in there causing the staff upset never mind the cost to the nhs.Families watching young people dieing with liver failures and women beaten up by drunken boyfriends and husbands etc etc. Also take a walk to the cancer ward and see how many poor souls are dieing with cigarette related illnesses. Two drugs that are most addictive and destroying to our comunities tho seen its so called legal and ok the same people can call someone who sits at home and relaxes on cannabis watching tv doing no harm but get called a druggie,,lol.Im yet to see or hear of any cannabis user to be causing anyone any harm.Taking too much of anything is bad tho trying to get off alcohol and cigs is a nightmare once it grips you.

Cannabis, in it's natural form, is one of the safest theureputic substances known to man. Theres no risk of developing lung cancer from cannabis-only smokers, there's no risk brain cell damage, there's no potential for physical addiction and nobody has ever proven that Cannabis is related to schizophrenia deveopment or any other kind of metal disease. And guess how many people die every year from overdosing on Cannabis... zero because you would have to ingest so many times your body weight in a matter of 10 minutes so it's impossible. The proof is out there!

WE are not going away. We are not slack-jawed, dazed, glazed, unemployable psychotic creeps. We are pillars of society. You can't run your computers, your fashion houses, your publishing houses, your damn magazines, you can't do anything in culture without psychedelic people in key positions. And this is the great unspoken of American Creativity. So I think it's basically time to just come out of the closet and go, "You know what, I'm stoned, and I'm proud." -Terrence Mckenna-

Cannabis poses both harmful and benficial aspects. It's a personal choice, I find I am able to relax when I sit back and enjoy a nice bong rip or blunt from time to time. Im not an "rotter", I do acceptionaly well in school, and I smoke weed! No need for dispute, if you are not in agreement, then troll the internet for other things that does not affect you!
