The reasons originally given do not make sense.

In the build-up to justifying starting a war in Iraq and the subsequent shift in rationales as the original “compelling” reasons evaporated like the ghosts they always were, support for the decision to go to war remained high for quite a while. These days even a lot of people who initially vigorously supported going to war are casting about randomly, searching for some “honorable” way to end it, although my personal experience indicates that few of them have admitted they were wrong about starting the war in the first place. If you try to pin them down as to why the war was justified, they mention weapons of mass destruction less frequently than they did before the war. It is true Iraq did at one time have some stocks of banned weapons. The U.S. Government would be in a position to know something about Iraq’s chemical weapons, since they acquired them from us. It is now clear they eliminated their stockpiles and halted production and research after the First Gulf War to try to avoid being invaded. Even if they had still had some banned weapons available, they had no delivery method that would have allowed them to use them on us, so that justification for war had little validity before the invasion.

The connection between the Iraqi government and the events of 9-11 was non-existent, and those of us who were paying attention knew that before the war started. If the purpose of invasion was to create a vibrant, viable democracy, we have failed miserably.

So why did we feel compelled to invade Iraq? Was it because we were attacked and we had to hit back at somebody? We had been attacked before and did not feel a need to invade Iraq. The first attack on the World Trade Center did not create a national outcry to “shoot something” (as Steve McQueen said in The Sand Pebbles). So why this time and not then? Not because of the higher death toll (at a slightly later time of day the toll might have been much higher). The difference is stark: the buildings fell down. Nobody used the attack on the Pentagon (remember that? It happened the same day) or the crash of a plane in a field in Pennsylvania to justify attacking Iraq. Just the World Trade Center. Why? Because the buildings fell down. Without that outcome, if the damage had been great and the loss of life high but the towers had not collapsed, they would have been rapidly rebuilt and the focus would have been on tracking down Osama (remember Osama? He’s still out there). Instead we had to demonstrate our outrage by invading another nation and causing an untold number of casualties.

These past several years we have let September 11th remain in the forefront of our national consciousness not because we were attacked and some people died but because a couple of high-rises collapsed. If the towers were still standing the neo-cons would never have been able to obtain public approval for their long-held desire to invade Iraq.

After the 911 attacks the world changed in many ways. Our air travel became very restricted by security and it limited the items we could carry on air planes. But who was really behind the attacks. This article may be very conterverisal but it true. The answer is Israel.

During my research i found a copy of the people who died. It is very important to note that only one Israel citizen died during that day. Now keep in mind that this is the world trade centre and there are one hundred and fifty people who are citizens of Israel who work there on a daily visit. None of them died. The only one who died of Israel was a perosn who was visting and not one who worked there on a daily basis. The people who worked at the world trade centre from Israel were peop,e who worked at the stock tarding and banmking industries. Just before the planes hit the world trade centeres there was a massive dump of air line stocks and other stocks. This was because if there was going to be a terrorist attack using planes the stock drop. These people who dumped the stocks made many millions of dollars. When the planes hit the stocks of airlines did indeed fall in value.

Some may question the motive of the Israel people. I have looked into it and have found the answer. The motive was to bring the United States and the rest of the world into a war. This could be called am world war because most of the industralized world took a role in the invasion. George bush even called it “the thrid world war” because of all the nations involved in the invasion. The intrest of a war to the people of Israel was because people such as Osama bin ladin and Saddam Hussain were threating to whipe Israel off the map. The United States is the largest military orginazation in the world. The world trade centre attacks were just a reason for the United States to go into war in the middle east. The United states is a ZOG country. But that is a whole diffrent story that i will not write about. The ZOG also has a considerable hold on our media to control the minds of the people to make them want to go into war. The fact is that the United States has gained nothing from the war in Iraq is just more proof that people who treat Israels intrests ahead of the United States. Israel had everything to gain from and the United states had no gains from the war.

America as a whole has forgotten our troops in Iraq. Do you want to bring them home before the planned date of August 2011?

The United States is still involved in a war. This has become a detail that many in America have inadvertently forgotten

Now don’t get me wrong, the fact that our troops are still fighting 5,000 miles away is remembered by some, but only by families that it directly affects.

Image via Wikipedia

The average American, the American that does not have a father, mother, uncle, cousin or friends fighting for our freedom is the one that has forgotten.

The Iraq war has been going on for six and a half years, and as the years have progressed the media coverage, funding, and most importantly the support has greatly diminished.

In wars past, American citizens demonstrated their outrage through protest. People picketing their way through the streets of Washington was the best way to get the governments attention.

But recently, Americans have abandoned the want to protest, and because of this the government, and the government alone continues to decide what is best for this country.

If the United States ever wants to withdraw any of its troops from Iraq, the American people need to begin sticking up for what they believe in.

The Iraqis are not better off now that we have invaded their country, a recent poll says that 67 percent of Iraqis feel less secure because of the occupation of American troops.

We need to ask ourselves, who is this war really helping? Our late president answered this question, by justifying the Iraq incursion as a resolve to “every threat…that could bring sudden terror and suffering to America” according to a White House press announcement.

When the war started, this sudden terror was the threat of weapons of mass destruction, but we all know how that conspiracy blew up in the governments face.

This war should have never started, but history cannot be rewritten, so to correct this mistake that is costing the United States an estimated $100 billion a year, the American people need to protest.

Send a letter to your representative, start a petition, go march in Washington, just do something to show the government that what they are allowing to happen, is stupid.

The United States government is designed for the people, if they can not guarantee that what they are doing is in the best interest of its citizens, and then the United States government does not need to be governing at all. Remember, as Americans we have the right to fight for what we believe in.
