Love Affairs: Someone much older or much younger may enter your life soon. Don’t look for love these days; there is plenty to gain in yourself, and the stars want you to be in isolation for a while.
Famous Personalities: A well-known foreign personality involved in communication, television or writing will gain international attention where sorrow, tears and memory will make many followers cry.

Shopping: Not a good time for the gamblers; however, if you happen to be in Las Vegas, keep the spending in control. The Moon is still waning (negative); be patient and make major moves only after the fast approaching new moon.

TUE., WED., THU., FRI. — JANUARY 24, 25, 26, 27:

RULERS — Uranus (Explosions/shocking news) Neptune (Deception/religion):

Work, Career and Business: The new moon in upon you and she will bring a high level of good surprises into your business affairs. Set up a difficult situation now to avoid a conflict later. Don’t let Neptune’s deceiving powers affect your attitude with life in general; be positive and listen to your intuition. Beware of get-rich-quick schemes, clean up your act and invest in new equipment that may let you down soon. Use the ingenuousness of Uranus to do some investigation around the office and let him provide you with great ideas with computers to promote your career. Progress is to be made now.

Partnerships: Keep Neptune’s complaining attitude in check and control your thought processes. Think positive and your wishes will come true. Expect much from co-workers but Neptune may induce daydreams. Supervise yourself closely; you might forget something important, errands or returning vital telephone calls. Everyone will feel the “dreamy” side of Neptune, so be patient in your dealings with others. It’s time to build others’ confidence and practice tact with the same dedication as a diplomat. Be aware of Neptune sensitivity and be tolerant.

Family and Friends: As always, with Neptune in charge, you may dwell on your intuition but you must control your imagination. With Uranus driving next to him, your psychic abilities are enhanced; just tune in and you will receive the wisdom of the stars. A friend may become difficult; do not let this person rely on you too much and avoid getting too emotionally involved. Both Uranus and Neptune strive in new-age endeavors; you may decide to share your own psychic knowledge with a friend. You could gain through new-age financial endeavors if you educate yourself in metaphysics. Do not allow Neptune’s deceiving tendency to make your life misery. Clean your thoughts; you have a choice, be happy.

Love Affairs: A romantic relationship may fall short of your expectations, mainly because your intuition tells you differently. Did you meet that person on the waxing Moon? If your Neptune is badly aspected by Venus (love) you will sense that perhaps the person may be deceiving in certain ways. Someone may try to lead you into a secret love affair, do not fall for it. Don’t be deceived, especially if the person in question happens to be married. Avoid any form of guilt in your decision and stay miles away from alcohol during the night hours. With this new moon, expect much from weekend dating and social plans. If you were born in May, Pisces and Virgo will be strongly attracted to you. A Cancer friend has a good advice for you.

Travel and Communication: Neptune and Uranus may decide to strand you somewhere with the police. Wherever you go, keep an eye on your possessions; the crooks will be active. Enjoy life in many ways this weekend; go after your wishes but don’t drink and drive. Uranus and Neptune are not great co-habitants and when alcohol and speed are mixed, it produces serious accidents. Be cautious if you must drive a long way; take plenty of rest as Neptune’s energy could make you sleepy. Chew gum, it will keep you more alert. Don’t let Neptune grasp your spirit and complain; use positive words and keep busy to avoid depression or guilty feelings from your past.

The bible does not translate God’s will and the “experts” are not immunized to stupidity.

Environment: Uranus (explosions) will be strong these days, thus expect bad surprises with nature’s devastating forces. Crazy people and all the elements will be invited for a mad dance. This energy will be quite detrimental and will disturb electronics and could produce aeronautic disasters.

Famous Personalities: Some rich and famous people may make sad news and be involved with drugs or alcohol.

An audio recording has been released of the 911 call made before Demi Moore was rushed to a hospital.

Events: Uranus, the Lord of Surprises could also bring about explosions and misadventures, especially if you happen to get close to the river or the ocean this weekend. Under the same celestial energy on October 1996 — BLUE ISLAND, Illinois — An explosion rocked an oil refinery south of Chicago, jolting neighborhood homes for miles around and sending clouds of black smoke into the air.

Shopping: Invest in anything related to the arts, fishing, metaphysics and electronics. Put a big smile on your face and use your will and your knowledge; the New Moon will sharpen your spiritual values. Visit an old friend and spend time by the water.

Environment: Uranus (explosions) will be strong these days, thus expect bad surprises with nature’s devastating forces. Crazy people and all the elements will be invited for a mad dance. This energy will be quite detrimental and will disturb electronics and could produce aeronautic disasters.

The widow of a man on United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed into a field in Pennsylvania after being hijacked on 9/11, blasted actor Mark Wahlberg for saying he would have thwarted the terrorists if he had been on one of the four hijacked planes.

Mark Wahlberg, who has since apologized, was being interviewed for the February issue of Men’s Journal when he said he would have saved the plane. The star of “Contraband” and several friends had been booked on Flight 11 from Boston to Los Angeles, which crashed into the World Trade Center, but they changed their reservations when plans changed.

“If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did,” Wahlberg said. “There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, ‘OK, we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry.’”

Deena Burnett-Bailey’s husband Thomas Burnett phoned her from the doomed Flight 93, saying, “I know we’re going to die. There’s three of us who are going to do something about it.” The flight from Newark, N.J., to San Francisco crashed, killing all on board.

Burnett-Bailey told TMZ: “Does Mark Wahlberg have a pilot’s license? Then I think hindsight is 20/20 and it’s insignificant to say what you would have done if you weren’t there. The plan for Flight 93 was foiled by heroes. For him to speculate that his presence on board could have stopped everything is silly and disrespectful.”

Wahlberg was quick to issue an apology after hearing of Burnett-Bailey’s outrage.

“I deeply apologize to the families of the victims that my answer came off as insensitive, it was certainly not my intention,” he told TMZ. “To suggest I would have done anything differently than the passengers on that plane was irresponsible.”

Wahlberg, whose Hollywood bachelor lifestyle was the inspiration for HBO’s “Entourage,” also said in Men’s Journal that he has changed his attitude towards life since having children and getting married to longtime girlfriend Rhea Durham in 2009.

“Yeah, a lot of people I thought were my friends were disappointed that I decided to settle down and don’t take them on whirlwind tours of craziness anymore,” Wahlberg told Men’s Journal. “When I was the life of the party, I definitely wanted to bring as many people along for the ride as possible. But sooner or later, you find out who your friends are.”

Wahlberg, 40, said he’s grown up a lot since then.

“Because of Entourage, people think that my life is just a big, wild party. And it is. But these days it’s a big, wild Halloween party or Easter egg party,” he explained. I don’t go out at night anymore. I don’t hang around with the guys. I don’t really play golf. I stopped smoking cigarettes. I stopped smoking pot a lot of years ago, too. I’m focused on my family, my faith, and my work.”

Sensitive people kill free speech about 9/11 or anything.

If you witness something bad happen, probably the worst thing that you can imagine, do you not wish for the outcome to be different ? If some one close be that friend or family dies do you not wish you could bring them back ? If you witness a murder or violent crime do you not wish you could have done more to stop what happened ? I was once victim of a robbery at the place I worked because of my own lack of judgement. I just didn’t put my life in danger but another person who was there. All I could think was how much I wished I could do it over again so my mistake wouldn’t jeopardize his life. I am not wrong for thinking this nobody is wrong for expressing regret, or wanting to do more to change the outcome of deadly events.

Come on people, if he is so bad why is this a picture of him visiting troops in Afghanistan. People make mistakes in what they say, that’s all it was. Made to apologize, really for what, think about it. Free speech ?

Anyone who witnessed the tragic events of 9/11 has thought about what lead to those planes crashing as they did. Anyone with a ounce of love and compassion for another human being questions what they’d have done in that situation. If you have ever been in a fight, or had to protect someone else from another then you know what needs to be done to survive. As citizens we watch action movies all the time that put the viewer in this position, to relate to the main character and put are selves in that position. Mark Wahlberg a veteran actor madeone statement in a interview and everyone gets all upset. I will not repeat what he said because the same thing has been thought by myself and anyone reading this. Natural instinct kicks in when loved ones are involved for those of us not afraid of violence, will go to any extremes to defend them. I believe this is what Mark Wahlberg was talking about.

September 11 2001 happened and in no way should Mark Wahlberg be made to apologize for saying what we all have thought. Why is it comedians can crack all sorts of jokes about September 11 2001 ?

Why not attack this white guy not the other ?

Mark does one interview and people force him to be man enough to make a public apology. Whatever happened to free speech in this country, or the world ? Oh, that’s right free speech died, it disappeared with my privacy, rights, civil liberties and my money. It’s like people look for something to whine about, his comment was not insensitive. Americans are such hypocrites, plenty of more important things are going on in the world and your country. Please stop idolizing these actors so much that everything they say becomes front page news. It’s sad that Americans care more about what Mark Wahlberg said or Tim Tebow than anything really important. Wake up! If your offending, you shouldn’t be, I’m sure if you think hard enough people probably say worse things to you everyday. I pray for those who died on 9/11 like anyone may they R.I.P, but it happened and nothing will bring them back. No matter how mad you are about Marks comment, which to me is stupid it won’t bring them back. What about all those comedians with 9/11 jokes, you going to go get mad at them for past routines they did ? What people reading this need to do is aim that righteous fury at the American government, ask them about 9/11. Words didn’t bring down those planes, words don’t hurt the dead, words about the dead are that just words. I feel for those who lost someone on 9/11 as I believe Mark Wahlberg does but he is not the bad guy here. I’m not his fan, I don’t defend him as one but as a man understand why he said his original statement. Mark shouldn’t have had to apologize, he nothing to apologize for every man alive understood what he said. Deep down inside you know I’m right, take care of yourself and each other.

A recent visit to the 9/11 Memorial is not only a necessity, it is something that every American should do.

After much self deliberation I decided to go to the 9/11 Memorial in NYC a few weeks ago. If I had to describe the place in one word, it would be serene. It is amazing to me that with all the noise and the continuing construction that is going on in the area, serenity was the feeling that first overcame me.

I went to the 9/11 Memorial expecting to be flooded by grief and sadness, instead what I found was joy, happiness and humility. I felt joy that we are once again able to stand on that ground that not too long ago was a place of sorrow and sadness. Happiness because we able to pay our respects. Humble that the unidentified human remains are interred at the deepest point of the north towers footprint.

The pools themselves are massive and beautiful. It was the soothing sound of the waterfalls that drowned out the noise of the city, the chatter of those around me, the traffic and the construction work. To be honest, it felt like being in a cemetery. I don’t mean that in a morbid way, if you have ever spent time visiting a loved one in a cemetery you know I speak of complete tranquility. Is it ironic to find that at the 9/11 Memorial a place where so many souls were lost?

What I found strange was that standing at the edge of the south reflecting pool, I was able to look up and still see the silhouette of the towers. Perhaps it is because I had been to The World Trade Center many times before they were destroyed on 9/11/01. As I walked the perimeter of the pool I felt as though the shadow of the former buildings which stood there followed me. I cannot explain it, but I was actually comforted by the feeling.

As I was walking around the reflecting pool two ladies came up to me and asked if I would take their picture next to a specific name, of course I said yes. After taking their picture I asked them if it was someone that they had known. I was told that they were simply trying to see how many Hispanics had died in the tragedy and that they were taking pictures of the names. I don’t know why, but it made me angry. I felt that this was nothing more than disrespect; I could not get away from them fast enough. I remembered later that every person deals with tragedy in their own way, perhaps this was their way of dealing with it.

With the exception of the anger those women made me feel I was subconsciously making it through the morning keeping myself emotionally in check. I decided it was time to read some of the names of those who perished on that fateful day. As I looked down from where I stood at the edge of the wall of the southern reflecting pool I came upon a name. It was the name of a woman and although I will not write it down out of respect, it tore into my soul. It was not the name of the woman, it was what it said after her name, it read “and her unborn child.” I cannot begin to tell you the emotions that ran through me in that very moment. Suffice it to say that I walked away I sat at a bench and cried.

I don’t know if I was crying for that poor unborn child, for its mother, for all of the people that died on that day or for myself. I am not aware of how long I sat there and cried, but it was long enough for my sister to come and ask me where I had been. When I looked at her, she just grabbed me and hugged me it was exactly what I needed. After I gathered myself, we decided that we would go and see the north towers reflecting pool. I walked right up to it, looked down at the names and there etched in stone and the first name I see is that of another woman and her unborn child. This time I did not walk away, I put my hand over that woman’s name and I said a silent prayer. I thanked God for my blessings and asked him to keep the souls that were lost on 9/11 close to his heart. I felt the power of the white light and took comfort in knowing my prayer had been heard.

I looked up after my prayer and for the first time really saw the new Freedom Tower. I acknowledge that with the tragedy that was 9/11 and all that was lost new things will come from it. The New Freedom Tower is just amazing. It stands within a stones’ throw from the northern towers reflecting pool and as it is being built, it proudly displays a beautiful American Flag. I look forward to its completion and the surrounding area.

Unfortunately the 9/11 Museum was not open when I visited, so I was unable to go in and experience that part of the 9/11 Memorial. However, as I do plan on going to visit and pay my respects there many times in the years to come, I will undoubtedly be able to get the full effect of the 9/11 Museum.

In my personal opinion designer Michael Arad did a fantastic job with the design and together with landscape architect Peter Walker created a place where people can come to pay their respects. They will be able to reflect on the tragic day and will be able to do so while finding comfort and tranquility.

Early on Arad said in a statement, “This design proposes a space that resonates with the feelings of loss and absence that were generated by the death and destruction at the World Trade Center.” And that is exactly what he has created. I do not know if he is aware of the legacy he will leave behind but I hope that he is recognized for the wonderful vision, creativeness and finished project that he came up with.

I encourage you to come and visit the 9/11 Memorial.

The government has removed a lot of our freedoms for the sake of our "freedom."

Since the attacks on September 11, 2001, the government has taken many actions in an effort to protect our nation. Most of them are fairly reasonable, some of them aren’t. It has affected everyone, from those who were born on that day to those who were already 100 years old. And that includes us teenagers, though it may be difficult for us to see the effects with our single-track minds.

The most obvious change is airport security. It now takes longer for us to go through the security checks and more items are banned from the planes. Nail files, pocket knives, and box cutters are strictly forbidden. You cannot carry more than three ounces of liquid- water, lotion, hand sanitizer, etc.- on board, either. Family members, friends and other loved ones must say good-bye earlier in the security process than they did before, too.

Also, not so obvious, is that the government now has access to the phone conversations, e-mail, and internet usage of their suspects. That’s going just a little overboard.

The attacks are also what led our government to decide that we need to have passports to go to and from Canada, which is one another silly policy. Really, I don’t think Canada is plotting an attack on us, or vice versa.

In addition, the 9/11 influenced the increase in the price of fuel, the songs we listen to (most of them are country music), and our families, for those with family members in the military. It’s torn families apart by sending troops overseas, not knowing when, or if, their loved are coming home.

Some of these actions to protect us are necessary and some aren’t, but they’ve influenced our lives nonetheless.

Where were you? What were you doing? How old were you? (Maybe not so much for anyone older than 30, now or then.) How did you feel? (Obviously wrote this back in September.)

Where were you? What were you doing? How old were you? (Maybe not so much for anyone older than 30, now or then.) How did you feel?
Just some of the questions undoubtedly asked as this, the ten year anniversary of the terrorist attacks in NYC, DC and PA, is upon us today.
Ten years is a long time not to forget an outfit. And yet, I don’t forget. But what that outfit was on that day has no bearing on anything else I might share.
I was a sophomore in high school. Sitting in the most torturous of classes, Algebra. Just itching for it to be over. I don’t remember the specifics of it all, but someone must have known from a class before because other students were starting to beg the teacher to please let us turn on the tv. (What’s with cranky old ladies teaching math anyway?) Eventually she relented.
What I saw…well I would have given anything to just “return to normal”, especially if normal meant none of what was happening that day, happened. Yes even if it meant getting back to Algebra. But since that was not an option I watched the tv as living history unfolded right in front of us on the screen.
Most of the rest of the school day is a blur. I think for most of the day that remained, tv’s were on and lessons were put on hold. All I know for sure is that instead of actually having gym class, we were in the cafeteria. I guess as a safety precaution. Not knowing if more things were going to happen. So I wrote long note after long note to a few different friends. And I’m pretty sure the tv’s were on still.
One of the most significant things about the effects of the 9/11 attacks I remember was being disappointed that the German exchange students were possibly not going to be able to come. They were supposed to arrive on September 13, 2001. Naturally the immediate thought was don’t come. But they wanted to come, we wanted them to come, so they came six months later.
If you’ve ever at least set foot in the doors of a high school for a brief time, you know they are filled with lots of chatter. All day from first bell to last. Discussions of upcoming plans, football games, the ever present high school drama and occasionally talk of things discussed in class spill out into the hallways. No matter the high school. But on that day, at West High School, the conversations were stopped. And I’m pretty sure that even in a school with over 2,000 students at that time, you could have heard a pin drop. National tragedy can do that though.
I was a 15, almost 16 year old, sophomore that day. And I was in Algebra wanting to be a dream. A really bad dream.

Looking at the pictures of those boys – men and women that are coming home shot to pieces and in coffins, and I’m thinking I never made my payment and freedom isn’t free,” he said. “A few years ago, I got the idea in my head, like a song you can’t get rid of. And I couldn’t shake it.”

Szpicki is walking 1,000 miles, visiting each of the three 9/11 sites. He started in August from his home in Rockford, Illinois.

“I gained ten pounds before I started. I figured on lean days, I could live off my body fat. When I left Indiana, I had gained two pounds. That’s how well they had taken care of me,” said Szpicki.

We caught up with Szpicki as he passed from Maryland into D.C. Along the way, he takes it all in. He is a 70-year-old retired Chicago police detective who never served in the military himself.

“I’ve been to the Antietam Battlefield. I’ve been to Gettysburg. That’s sacrifice. When you see a tombstone that says 28 dead – unknown – that’s what sacrifice is,” said Szpicki. “They sent a young man home to Rockford who had no arms and legs. That’s sacrifice. Me being a policeman, I had my moments. But nothing compared to a person in the military actually giving his life.”

1,000 miles can be a long, lonely road.

“It wears on you mentally as much as physically because you miss your family. You’re far away from home,” he said.

He arrived in Shanksville two weeks ago. Szpicki is paying his own way, so every dime he raises goes to wounded warriors. He’s inspired.

“People that have taken care of me. People have encouraged me. Brought me into their homes even though I was a stranger, to give me a night’s rest,” said Szpicki.

It is a small sacrifice compared to fighting a war, but still much appreciated.

Response to the statement: "The United States Justice System Treats all Citizens fairly and Equally"

Racial Profiling and discrimination has been a large part of our society since the beginning. The criminal justice system has not been excluded from this by any means. Many Americans want to believe that the justice system treats all citizens fairly and equally, but this is an unfortunate misconception, as poor people, particularly minorities are more likely to be convicted of a crime. In fact, the situation may even be getting worse for many people.

Since 9/11, Muslims and Arabs alike have been discriminated against, and have even been the victims of sometimes violent hate crimes from ignorant people who believe all Arabs to be responsible for the 9/11 attacks. The criminal justice system has been no exception when it comes to racial profiling. Because of the so called “War on Terror,” many legal protections and rights have been suspended or even ignored. This leaves Muslims vulnerable to unconstitutional surveillance, or unwarranted imprisonment, merely because of their looks.

Additionally, our criminal cases are determined by a jury. A jury can easily be flawed. If it happens that everyone on the jury is even subconsciously racist, that puts a defendant who is a lower class minority at a major disadvantage. As an example, Troy Davis, a poor black man, was convicted of killing a police officer based purely on flawed witness testimonies which were recanted after his conviction. There was no solid evidence to begin with. Despite this, he was executed. On the other hand, Casey Anthony, a white woman hailing from a relatively wealthy family, was acquitted of killing her daughter, despite a multitude of evidence, although the evidence was shaky. She is free of any charges relating to killing her daughter. She shouldn’t have been convicted because there was reasonable doubt, but Troy Davis was convicted, despite more than reasonable doubt, enough to drive the Pope, a former president, and former governor, among thousands of others, to ask for his release. In the minds of a standard jury, a poor black man is a likely suspect of killing a police officer. And it is a fact that a wealthy person has an advantage over a poor person in court, as they can afford better lawyers, and the people of a jury are less inclined to convict them of a violent crime, such as murder, due to the defendant having a higher social status, therefore being less inclined to commit a violent crime.

This issue shows no signs of an end, because all humans have their own biases. So despite what many Americans want to believe, our justice system is not fair, and does not treat everyone equally, because poor minorities have been, and are being discriminated against in the justice system.

Season 1 Episode 6: Terrorist Threat

By Jecory Hobbs

Wednesday, October 5, 2011

After the death of Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad, Pakistan, three illegal Saudi immigrants managed to cross the U.S. border illegally without getting captured by U.S. border patrol officers, coast guards or the air force. The Saudis were planning a terrorist attack in Houston to avenge the death of Osama bin Laden. They entered the country on a large ship from Abbottabad, Pakistan with an arsenal of weapons including improvised explosive devices, landmines, pipe bombs, Molotov Cocktails and barometric bombs. They even brought fertilizer bombs to destroy buildings. The Saudis had also stolen guns used by the Al-Qaeda Army including soviet rifles, rocket propelled grenade RPG- 7’s, Grail SA-7’s and stinger missile Fim92A’s. An email containing a terrorist threat was reported to a law enforcement agency in Houston, Texas when the author sent it to an American by mistake. The email was written in Abbottabad, Pakistan by a Saudi man who wanted the Americans to pay for the death of the Al-Qaeda leader. Border patrol law enforcement was in shock when they found out that ten Saudi men had found a way into the United States illegally. They found out an hour later after rewinding the surveillance tape from the security office.

The terrorist’s target was the American President, but they knew Washington, DC security was too strong, so they decided to go to Houston first and assimilate the society.

Recently, at 9:30 AM, the meeting about the Saudi men began at the Houston Police Department as officers entered the conference room. I walked in and sat next to Chad, Drae and another undercover police officer named Charlie. Everyone talked and drank coffee while we waited on the chief. Today the Houston police will search homes in Kashmere Gardens, Houston, to look for the men before they terrorized the city. Search warrants were signed by a judge and given to the Houston Police Department so officers could start their search. The Houston Police Chief entered the conference room with a microphone and the meeting finally began.

“Good morning, officers. I’m happy to have all of you here this morning. Welcome,” Chief Roman announced.

“We have a serious problem. Ten Saudis from Abbottabad, Pakistan entered our country illegally with a stash of weapons they brought in on a ship. An email intercepted by police stated that the men were somewhere in Kashmere Gardens and the residents who live there could be in danger right now” he continued.

“We must escort each resident out of the neighborhood and get them to safety.”

The officers were sitting down, quiet, and worrying about the residents safety and their own. They were thinking about what could happen if they didn’t make it to the neighborhood on time to find the men.

“We can’t let these guys destroy our city and kill innocent people. We must get there and stop them right away because I believe this terrorist attack could be worse than 9/11!” the chief warned.

“Here is the plan: First, we will escort the residents to safety, then close down the elementary school nearby, and finally we will look for the terrorists,” he continued.

“Alright. That’s all I have to say. Now let’s go! We’re headed to Kashmere Gardens. Move it!” he yelled, enraged.

Police officers stormed out of the conference room like raging bulls. Their feet hitting the pavement sounded like a loud stampede. Chad and I walked in the locker room and changed clothes quickly into our police protective gear. Five minutes later, we were finished and leaving the Houston Police Department in my car. I drove at full speed on the highway with my lights and sirens on. I swerved in and out traffic with ten police cars behind me. Drae and his partner, Charlie, were also following us with their sirens on.

We arrived to Kashmere Gardens and every police officer jumped out of their cars with guns. I got out the car with Chad, opened my back trunk, and grabbed our rifles. Only five minutes later, the SWAT team and FBI arrived on Curry Street. Police knocked on doors and helped the residents to safety. We told the citizens that we had a warrant to search their homes. I walked up to the first house on Curry Road and knocked. A man opened the door and I told him what was going on.

“Hello, sir. Police. You have to leave your home right now and get out of this neighborhood because there are terrorists here!” I explained.

“Oh my Lord I have to get out of here right now. I don’t want to die. Why do we have to be escorted out of the neighborhood, sir?” he asked.

“There could be landmines buried in this neighborhood and we’re not sure where they are yet. For your safety, I recommend you leave right now,” I replied.

“Don’t tell me the police are searching our homes because y’all are not coming in my house!” he barked, walking out the house.

“Well, we have a search warrant, so we are allowed to search your home sir. Now get out of here NOW! Move it, move it!” I demanded.

“I don’t have any drugs or weapons in my house, so y’all won’t find anything in there!” he yelled.

“Look here, sir. I don’t have time to argue with you right now. We are here to protect you from the radicals. When you leave, do not step in the grass because there could be landmines!” I warned.

“Okay, sir. Sorry for being so rude.” Turning to the back of the house, he yelled, “Baby, wake up! The police are here and said we need to leave because there are terrorists in the neighborhood!”

Chad and I then searched the resident’s home to make sure that Saudis weren’t hiding there. Chad searched the bedrooms, the bathroom and, the dining room, and I searched the kitchen with a flashlight. Police and the SWAT team escorted a large crowd of people out of the neighborhood and closed down the street. No one was allowed to drive on the street, enter Kashmere Gardens or even stay at home. As we continued to search home after home, the bomb squad arrived and began their search for the bombs. Teachers, staff and students were all escorted from the elementary school by law enforcement officers. Everyone was terrified as police cars surrounded Kashmere gardens.

I drove my car behind people who were walking out of the neighborhood and started talking on my PA system.

“C’mon, let’s go people. Let’s go, let’s go, move it! We are doing this for your safety!” I yelled on the PA system.

“Hey, young lady over there. I don’t know why you’re laughing. This is not a joke! Get out of the grass, get out of the grass, damnit!” I yelled, enraged.

“Don’t yell at me. I’m just kidding! Why I can’t walk in the grass, though?” she asked.

“Let me repeat this again. Do not walk in the grass because there could be landmines buried underneath! Okay? Now get out of here NOW, damnit!”

“Okay, okay I’m walking!” she said.

After the police escort, I entered the neighborhood again shaking my head from the crazy woman who thought this was a joke. I got out of my car with my rifle and saw Chad knocking on someone’s door. When there was no answer, we assumed that the terrorists were hiding inside. Five cars exploded into what seemed like a million pieces, creating an enormous fire and law enforcement officers had to run through the neighborhood as fast as they could.

“Oh shit, oh shit! Guys, over here! The Saudis are inside this home! I repeat, they are inside this home! They just blew up five cars!” Chad yelled, with his hand on his heart.

“I’m moving in. Cover me and let’s go!” a SWAT team officer yelled.

I kicked in the door and law enforcement officers ran inside the house. The Saudi were there, just as I suspected and began firing soviet rifles at us. We returned fired as they took cover. The men were screaming religious cries as they fired the guns at the officers. I shot and killed three of them with an enraged scream as I took cover behind a door.

“Get behind something Chad and take cover I just killed three!” I screamed.

Chad shot and killed two Saudis. Five more Saudis ran out of the house and started throwing molotov cocktails at police officers. During the gun fight there was black smoke in the air and nine police officers were seriously injured. The SWAT team killed two of the suspects and one terrorist tried to escape in a red truck. He didn’t realize, however, that the truck had a pipe bomb inside. As soon as he turned the ignition, the truck exploded.

There were two terrorists left to arrest, and thankfully they surrendered with their hands in the air.

They then put their hands behind their heads and Chad cuffed them tightly. Two SWAT team members stood the suspects up and walked them to a police car in handcuffs, where they slammed the suspects onto the hood and searched them. I was so angry that I could not help myself and ran and tackled one of the suspects in custody. I kicked him in the head three times before other officers pulled me off of him.

“Sons of bitches!” I yelled, enraged.

“Magic, calm down dude. We have them in custody now and we won the gun fight. Nice work, partner!” Chad said, holding his rifle.

“They don’t need to go to prison; they deserve to be dead after what they did! Look at this place, nine officers are hurt and six cars were blown up!” I yelled, still just as enraged.

“Well, at least we destroyed eight of them. Now c’mon, let’s go back inside that house and search it!” Chad added.

“Yes, and we did just save everyone in Kashmere Gardens from those dangerous men,” I agreed, walking in the house.

An onslaught of fire trucks and ambulance trucks began to arrive at the scene. The firemen put out the enormous fire from the blown up cars in the neighborhood and the bomb squad detected all of the landmines. Nine police officers were carried to ambulance trucks on a stretcher and we found an arsenal of weapons inside the house. Together we found ten landmines, nine pipe bombs, eight molotov cocktails, seven fertilizer truck bombs, six barometric bombs and various other weapons, which the FBI took in for evidence. The Saudi men will be facing a long sentence in prison. Thank God no one was killed.

“Are you okay, Magic?” Chad asked.

“Yes, I’m okay partner. That was crazy. We managed to stop these bastards from destroying the city!” I replied.

“I pray to God that nothing like this will happen again, because we almost lost our lives in there,” Chad added.

“They would have killed everyone in the neighborhood and millions of people in the city considering all the weapons they had.”

The Saudis failed to get revenge for the death of Osama bin Laden. Thank God the police were able to stop another terrorist attack from happening. If that email had not been reported to the police, it would have happened to the innocent citizens of Houston. We will try our best to prevent further terrorist attacks in the city and the country. Today was a good day for the Houston Police Department.

Drae and his partner, Charlie, talked to us before we left Kashmere Gardens.

“Hey, Magic and Chad, I’m glad you guys are okay. That was pretty dangerous, wasn’t it?” Charlie said.

“Yeah, that was dangerous and I hope nothing like this happens ever again,” I added, sitting in my car.

“That bomb almost blew me up! I’m glad I was able to move out the way before the car exploded,” Chad said.

“Well I wonder what they will do with these criminals? Should they send them back to Pakistan?” Drae asked.

“Hell, naw! They committed a serious crime in America, so they can serve life in an American prison,” I replied.

“Oh alright. Magic and Chad, we will talk to you guys later. Y’all stay safe,” Drae said.

“Y’all do the same. Remember if you have our back, we will have your back,” I shouted, as I started up my car.

After a while, everyone left the neighborhood and people were allowed to return to their homes.
