So how do you sell advertising for your website?

There are two major ways that you can sell advertising on your websites??

Revenue share advertising is a very cool way that website owners can earn money with ads. Google Adsense is an example of revenue share advertising. These are sites that find the advertisers for you and then, when somebody clicks on the links that are displayed on your site, they give you a share of the revenue created by the click. The amount of money per click varies depending on the deal made between the revenue share company and the advertiser. This is information you usually don’t get to know.

Revenue share programs are great because they are very easy to set up. Basically all you do is sign up for the program, insert some code into your website template and the ads will show up. Not much extra work is needed on your part.

Of course, revenue share programs also have their disadvantages. For instance, Google Adsense has some very strict rules about what you are allowed to do with your ads. Make sure that you read and understand the terms of service before you click the I agree?? button. It is very easy to inadvertently commit click fraud?? with Adsense and once your account gets suspended, you won’t ever be allowed to reinstate it.

Another disadvantage of revenue share advertising is that you don’t get all the money from the ads on your site. They company usually takes just as much (or more) than you get. It’s the price you pay for the ease of use and them finding the advertisers for you.

One thing to remember with revenue share programs is that no matter what one you choose, make sure that you understand what they expect from you and what you are allowed to do and not allowed to do with your ads.

While direct advertising usually brings in more profit, it is far more time consuming and harder to keep track of than revenue sharing advertising.

Advertisers can be very fickle and so can your readers. Fraud is an intentional deception made for personal gain. A month ago, I had an interesting conversation with a friend (here name is withheld) who happened also a Triond contributor. However, she had been kicked out from Triond. Also she was constrained from accessing to her Google AdSense Account.

When I asked her, Why Triond evicted her? Also why she had been deprived from accessing her Google AdSense Account? Aside from personal gain, another motive of fraud is to damage another individual. Last March 23, 2011, I received a message from Google AdSense Crawler Team said, “AdSense crawlers has blocked this URL – http://scienceray.com/mathematics/how-do-numbers-tell-our-life-paths-our-expressions-and-our-heart-desires-part-one/.” That’s one of my most viewed article ever published at Triond. And it generated the highest content earnings. Yes. I had been a victim of fraud added that particular period my Gmail account was hacked, Triond website was blocked in Saudi Arabia for 8 days, I received threat from John Watson IV and someone has plagiarized one of my works!

It is year 2019,

Self proclaimed tsar of the Northern Empire and the former president of the USA, Barack Obama finally decided to invade one of the few remaining free nation states in the world…

Israel was invaded from the air, sea and land and is expected to surrender in less than one week.

This was a logical move and this invasion will be, for all sides, just a symbolic war, nothing serious.

Northern Empire already conquered what was left of Europe and Northern Africa and attacking Israel was needed to achieve balance between the powers.

Who would predict that something like this could be possible five years ago?

But I guess the Great War has changed everything and the world looks much different now.

And now, Israel stand alone while Obama and his highly trained troops are marching for victory.

Predictions point out the skills and the equipment of Northern Empire’s soldiers as a main reasons why this should be short war with minimal casualties.

At this time, Israel has some not so organized querillas that will probably hide and wait for the moment when they can start the resistance.

“Once upon the time it was the Roman Empire, now it is some other empire, we will resist!” said one of the former generals.

We can only wait and see, we all hope that the world peace can be established in the near future.

I have been frustrated. I have been tired. I wanted to give it all up when I had started working at home. Then I realized I didn’t have a definite plan in mind. This was making life tough for me. I didn’t have a time schedule, and I was grossly neglecting my house and my family.

Here are a few tips on how to work at home without losing your cool -

• Take short breaks – This really helps trust me! In your break time, relax reading a good book or watching a comedy sitcom. I love watching an episode of ‘FRIENDS’ or ‘Gilmore Girls’ after completing a task. Rejuvenating to say the least. Don’t go for anything too serious or mind boggling. This can wear you down and you won’t feel much enthusiasm in continuing with your stressful online work.
• Create a time table - This is really important! If you don’t have a time schedule, you will just keep doing things in an unorganized manner and soon enough you will feel saturated and lost! It’s always good to plan out things beforehand. For example, you can jot down today what you are planning to do tomorrow. Follow the list in a dedicated manner and you will see yourself working in a more relaxed way.
• Mix up the tasks according to their complexity – Do NOT do all the tough tasks together. Divide up your tasks and categorize them according to their complexity. Mix up the easy and tough tasks. For example, you can do a tough task and a lot of easy tasks in a day. This type of mixing up makes sure that you are not left exhausted by the end of the day.
• Look away from your screen every 10 minutes or so – Your eyes tend to get tired soon and by staring at the computer screen for a long time is not doing them any good! More tiredness leads to more crankiness. And you don’t want to be cranky! Look away from your computer screen for a minute after every 10 minutes. Focus on something else (not a distracting one though) during this short break.
• Have a definite goal set in mind – Set a target for yourself — a reachable target i.e. and aim for it. What do you want to achieve next month? How can you achieve that? Note all those points down in a notebook, review them and work accordingly. For example, I wanted a minimum of 1000 views on Hubpages this month. I did some research on popular keywords and topics. I wrote those down in a notebook and created pages on them. Soon enough, by January 15th I reached my goal of getting a 1000 views.
• Delegate tasks if possible – Get some help if required. You need not feel any shame to ask for some help from your kids, relatives or friends. Give them small tasks to do. You can even get professional help from sites lik Elance.
• Keep an open mind - Sometimes there will be some online projects that won’t work for us. Do your best to promote these pages and then if they still don’t work out for you, ignore them and move on to greener pastures. You don’t want to be wasting your precious time on matters that are not selling!

By following all these methods, within time I received my first Google Adsense earnings. It was a delightful experience and I’m sure you too can achieve success online with some preserverence and hard work. Good luck!

6. Create yourself your own country and be a dictator.
7. Become a big racketeer and let the government place a big price for your arrest and then give yourself up (before giving yourself up ensure that you’ll be the one to claim the price – just like in the old wild west days)
8. Buy a state lottery (keeps your fingers crossed and pray hard)
9. Lure a princess to walk away with you (not that you’d find any still waiting around the block – but you can always try your luck)
10. Make sure your post has the heading “How to become a Millionaire (blah blah) before you post.
