Cruelty on The Farm

A pig’s life today is a pretty lousy one. Steve Chapman, a member of the Chicago Tribune’s Editorial Board says, "If your image of a pig farm involves barnyards, mud and pails of slop, the Cambalot pig farm would come as a surprise. The first thing you notice upon arriving here-OK, the second thing, after a certain recognizable aroma-is that there are no pigs in sight."

Peta: A Scam Featuring Nude Celebrities That Had Gone Overboard

by Sharif Ishnin in People, February 4, 2011

I remember reading an article written by a fellow writer here about the PETA scam. PETA-People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is an organization that often raised awareness on animal cruelty using ads featuring nude female celebrities. They also showcase videos of unethical treatment of animals from around the world online just to get support and donation for their cause. The disgusting thing about all of this however is that since 1998, PETA have done the very same things they are fighting against. They kill the majority of adoptable animals in their care instead of finding them new homes. It is the classic case of the pot calling the kettle black. Their track record clearly shows that they don’t really care much about animals.
