Sometimes we ask ourselves, why? Why things happen when the do? Why they happen like they do? Why? Why? Why?  

Some years ago I learned a lesson about asking why… something along the lines of “ours is not to question why”… I try not to but sometimes you just can’t help ask. When something so out of the ordinary happens to you find your self asking “Why me?” Even when it’s something good you may ask; Why? 

When I met “Muse” I asked why a lot. I wondered why he was so familiar to me. Why did it feel like I’d heard his voice before? Why was he so sweet? Why was he in another country? Why was he … well you get the picture. As time went on I get to know him the funniest things began to happen. He would say things that I’d heard him say before. Only I had never asked him the questions. 

Then one day I got the strangest chill and I reached for a journal of mine. There it was…the answers. I had dreamed him. I know right now; you’re all thinking I’m cracked or some kind of crazy. But it’s true. I dreamed him. Years before I met “Muse” I dreamed about him. I wrote down the kind of man I wanted in my life. I even sketched in qualities and back ground. I dreamed some of our conversations. I dreamed his green eyes and dark hair. I dreamed the way we felt for each other. I even dreamed us breaking up. 

Once I had the truth right there in my face; I tried everything to keep it from happening. But it seemed I was on a path and couldn’t change it. I didn’t want the devastation of the dream to be real. It just wasn’t meant to be. So now I was questioning WHY? Why couldn’t it last? Why did it have to be this way? Why; was I allowed to meet him, love him; and have it fall so badly apart? I told “Muse” one day when we were together; I had heard his voice and knew it… I knew that voice and he knew mine. 

He agreed he felt the same way, and so had sought me out. We were like magnets to each other.

When I had heard his voice I was over whelmed with that feeling.

I had the most intense relationship with him I’ve ever had in my life. I wondered why such a thing could happen and go so bad. No answers came. Then I began to notice, I wrote every day… I wrote most of the day… everyday! They were poems, poems to “Muse”, poems about “Muse” poems everyday. I still months after it ended write poems. I have never written so much in my life. My poems surprise me with the clarity of depth and emotion they hold. I put my words on audio and created film shorts about how I feel and felt for “Muse”. 

Was this the reason we met? Was this why he had walked out of my dreams into my reality? Was it? I have written notebooks of poems to “Muse”. I post some of them to my twitter and every day I find someone that some of the poems touch. Then there was PSHome. Had it not been for “Muse” I may never have been there. I went to find him. I would never have believed it would lead me to writing. 

That’s right, PSHome has lead to me being published…I wrote an article for a magazine. The magazine is about Home and for Home. It was a contest to find new writers for the magazine. I made it. I’m now one of their writers. So now I feel like I know why… I have my answers, some of them. I see how events lead me to where I am. As always, I am the one who at every turn set the wheels in motion. I made the choices that lead me here. In every instance where I felt like I couldn’t do anything else; I was ultimately the decision maker. In all this I was guided by the Universe. The universe listens to us; it hears our deepest desires and gives them to us. Sometimes we are open to them and we recognize them when they come. Sometimes we have our eyes closed tightly and what we want passes us by.

Don’t dis-pare, if it really is what you want and what you set your self to; it will return. It may not be the way you envisioned it, but look deeper. See if it isn’t what you really wanted and needed. From the first I was on a path to “Muse.” When my mother died I found strength to be who I always thought I should be. I set my self on a path of writing. I wrote, but inspirations came slowly. I think some part of me was still too timid to let go… all that changed when I began to know “Muse”. He woke me up. I let myself experience every emotion I had. I kept nothing locked away. I smiled everyday! I laughed every day! I felt something… every day!

I am grateful to him and the universe. This path I’m on is where I am meant to be. I don’t have any communications with “Muse” right now. It is as it is suppose to be. I fought my dreams out of fear that they could not be true. I wanted so much for them to be real. (The good parts that is.) lol. 

Now I wait for the rest of my dream(s) to come to fruition. I am on the path to who I want to be; and I am living my future… even now.

So though we are taught not to ask why, ask it! Ask why; sit down in the quiet and ask WHY?

Ask for answers and wait… wait for the answers. They will come.

I found six more ways to tell if you have a dirty mind.  As I’ve done in my previous articles, I will put the quiz first and then the answers if you can’t figure them out.  I hope you have fun answering the riddles.  Here are the six ways to tell if you have a dirty mind.

These are the six ways to tell if you have a dirty mind.  How did you do?  Do you have a dirty mind?  I am curious to read your answers.

It is assumed that we yawn out of boredom or because we are tired. However, there isn’t really any evidence to suggest these beliefs.

Scientists are no where close to knowing all of the biological mechanisms attributed to the yawn, but they all usually tend to agree that yawning is an involuntary respiratory reflex, which serves to regulate the carbon-dioxide and oxygen levels in our blood.

A yawn is technically the reflex opening of the mouth which is then followed by the deep inhalation and then the slow exhalation of oxygen.

The act of yawning is but one of a large number of involuntary reflexes that are controlled by the spinal and nerve centers.

Scientists theorize that the onrush of a yawn is sparked either by exhaustion and fatigue, or by sheer boredom as, at those very times, breathing is usually flat and shallow, and little oxygen is being carried to the lungs by the cardiovascular system.

Whenever one yawns, his/her attentiveness is increased, the sudden intake of oxygen increases the pulse rate, gets rid of carbon dioxide buildup in the bloodstream, and forces the oxygen through blood vessels located in the brain, all this while restoring normal breathing as well as ventilating the lungs.

This is a quite reasonable theory about yawning, but it falls short of explaining many aspects about yawning. Scientists explain away the “contagious” nature of yawning, that is when one person’s yawn incites another person nearby to yawn, is most likely due to the power of suggestion, but scientists are at a loss when attempting to explain why it is that yawning occurs excessively in patients that have lower brain stem damage or patients with multiple sclerosis.

Other mysteries puzzling scientist’s include why individuals with substantial concentrations of oxygen in their blood streams yawn and why it is that unborn fetuses still in the womb yawn, when it’s a clearly well-known fact that fetuses do not intake oxygen into their lungs until after their birth.

Until all of the questions mentioned above are answered, you’d be best not to assume that a person who is yawning in your presence is simply bored silly with what it is that you are saying, or suffers from exhaustion. It is best to simply be pleased that he/she is not bored to death.

When you follow dream therapy, you must have the attitude of a humble student who is following very important lessons. The unconscious mind is your doctor and teacher. It will answer your questions when you will learn the basics about many other matters.

First of all, you have to acquire certain knowledge. Otherwise, you won’t be able to understand the unconscious answers.

Sometimes the unconscious mind immediately answers your questions because you are asking exactly what you have to know. For example, when you are facing difficult challenges, the unconscious mind is very generous with you. You immediately receive answers for all your questions. You have true information about everything.

However, when you have to be cured because you are mentally ill, you must follow a certain process. Your doctor knows what you have to learn before learning something else. You must be patient.

If the unconscious mind is not answering your questions, this is because you have to care about things that are more important than what you want to know. For example, you may desire to know if you should accept a business preposition or not. However, instead of answering this question, the unconscious mind keeps sending you dreams about the person you love.

You may believe that you have a good love relationship even though it is not perfect, and the unconscious mind should leave this matter for later. You want to know what you have to do in the financial area. This is your most important problem at the moment (according to your opinion).

However, the unconscious mind knows everything. Therefore, it knows better than you what is more important for you and your life.

If you are making serious mistakes and your relationship is in danger, you must prevent a sad life situation. You may have to face serious problems with your partner, which will have a definitive impact in your life. Money won’t help you feel better if you’ll lose the person you love.

You may believe that your relationship is good because you are neglecting important details. Perhaps your partner needs your attention. Later, the unconscious mind will give you advice about your business.

You may believe that you cannot wait. However, the unconscious mind knows the problems you are able to solve by yourself, and what problems will be solved only if you’ll have the unconscious help.

If you are not having the answer you are looking for, this is because this answer is obvious, and you can find it alone. The unconscious mind gives you information about crucial matters in dreams. This information is more important than your ridiculous question.

There are numerous possibilities. I’m only giving you a few examples.

You should have the humble attitude of someone who needs help, instead of demanding answers.

You are able to decide what to do about your business without the unconscious guidance. However, you need help in order to understand what is happening to your relationship.

Perhaps you have to act and do something very important, without wasting time. If you won’t act fast, you may lose the person you love.

If you always abandon your partner alone because you are always working, your partner will find someone else, who will have the time to give him/her the affection he needs.

Therefore, pay attention to the unconscious guidance. Stop thinking about your company and your financial issues. Your mental health and your happiness are in danger.

Whenever you see that the unconscious mind is not answering your questions, this usually means that other issues in your life deserve your attention instead of those you believe.

However, there is also another possibility that you must consider.

Many times you receive answers to your questions in dreams, but you cannot understand that you are having the answers you need. You are not translating the meaning of dreams according to the scientific method of dream interpretation, but according to your imagination.

You must respect the rules of the dream language. Don’t invent the meaning of dreams based on your opinion. Look for the meaning of the dream symbols. Pay attention to the dream logic. Think.

  I know the feeling of being so afraid to seek out anything other then the views and opinions expressed by organizations like Focus on the Family,  or famous pastors like Chuck Swindol, Billy Grahm, or James Kennedy.  all of these sources take the position that homosexuality is nothing  but a sinful lifestyle choice.

  If you’re like me, or know someone you love who is like me,  who is gay and trying to come to terms with being a Christian at the same time, You soon find out there is no room for those like us within the ministries of these great organizations and famous Bible believing pastors.

 Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t count them out just because of their opinions on homosexuality, in fact I’ve been tremendously blessed by their teaching in so many other areas, their insight, and in depth look at the Truth of God’s word and the powerful Gospel it contains.

 But where does the one who is gay go to find hope for their weary soul? Where does one find real, honest, workable answers that mainstream Christianity ignores? A whole people group they fail to really minister too simply because those who preach the message don’t know any better?

 Well Let me direct you towards two of the best resources that I’ve foud to be amazing in my Journey. 

 The first was a huge relief to find, such a blessing and the start of my joy as a gay christian: www.gaychristian.net  Founded by Justin Lee.  Here you find not only great resources, but excellent answers to the most basic questions, that even gay people ask about being gay, and unsure of how to understand the biblical answers.   Whether is a fun and light hearted video by Justin, a testimony of someone else’s courageous journey, a radio show clip, or the overwhelming fellowship of a whole community of gay Christians,  It is a total safe haven for gay Christians to properly mature in Christ Jesus.  When I came across this site, it was like finding the ark of Noah, seeing a whole community of believers like me and knowing I was not alone, it was a “It really does exist!” moment. 

 The next place is one for more in depth study of God’s word regarding all area’s of our homosexuality. There were times in my journey where I felt like I was always outdone by the mainstream piles of information and propaganda on the wrongness of homosexuality.  Here at http://www.affirmingtheology.com/ You find such solid answers and biblical backing, that the bullied feeling you get when Christian leaders present their position, flees because you now have a stronger, more solid foundation then they do.  Here we find the issues of homosexuality brought to light in many contexts that are completely ignored by other sources, such as translation, original language usage, cultural meaning and impact, as well as contrasted with the entirety of the Bible and the gospel message.   A great resource for Biblically based answers.

 Now I’ve gone through a lot of research and information over the past couple of years, but I mainly mention these two sources simply because as a Christian, I find them to be the most biblically based, with confidence and integrity.  Nothing wishy washy, and trust me online there is plenty of that going around.

 Oh gay Christian, Do you feel like either your straight and are for God, or gay and against him?  Its not so! There really does exist a community of loving, God fearing, gay men and woman, who want nothing more then to faithfully serve the Lord, in righteousness. 

For us, its hard to taste the water of Christ when mainstream Christians crowd  the way and say we must change before we can drink,  brothers and sisters, come up stream where the crowd is less pressing, where the water is closer to the source, and drink freely of the living water of Christ.   It really does exist!
