Hernandez’s mother said she felt that her son was not suffering from any mental health issues. I guess a mother would have a hard time thinking in such a way about her child. Thing is I as well as many other people find it hard to believe a man can think of himself as a god like being and not be suffering from some type of mental issue. Not being trained in the profession though I cannot say he is suffering from any type of issue other than politics.

     I have often heard many people refer to the President of the United States and other leaders as being the Antichrist.  Many refer to these leaders as the Antichrist because of their individual deep religious feelings compared to the political views of the politician.

    I have  serious doubts at times because it seems these leaders try to strip our rights and freedoms and why else would they do that if they were not against our people?  Of course if we look at things in this way then everyone at some point in time could be referred to as some sort of Antichrist I would think.  I personally have worked under the direction of some people who could quite possibly give the Antichrist a “run for his money”.

    Thing is violence would never stop a politician from getting his agenda accomplished.  For every politician including President Obama their is someone waiting to fulfill his political agenda.  He is not the only one who believes in his politics.  So assassinating him, his family, or his staff would not stop any of his beliefs from becoming a reality.  You simply would have someone else take his place and they can not  all be the Antichrist as my belief says there is only one.

    Voting against these people will cause their successors to rethink their agenda’s when running for office. That is why we vote.  If believing in the Antichrist and trying to kill the Antichrist are contradictory actions in terms of religion. He is or he is not.

    There are many people who dislike or disagree with President Obama’s politics and his direction for the country; however, there is no reason for the cowardice thinking that a person can control the future by assassinating or intimidating someone. All you do is create a place for some of those that disagree to feel sympathy toward him and his politics.

Another authentic prophecy about Obama is Brazilian and was written in the 1920’s in a book called The Black President. The novel predicted a time in a year composed of 8 and 2 when the Black President will be the United States President and the United State population will be 300 million people. Obama has been President since 2008. Many other predictions were made in this prophecy, most of them correct, a few of them inaccurate.

It also predicted that “people will not go to the office everyday in a streetcar, they will work at home and will radiate the job done to the office”, which seems to be a prophecy about telecommuting and Internet.

The writer named Monteiro Lobato a well-known in Brazil today wrote the book, subtitled The American Roman in 2228, which he tried unsuccessfully to publish in the US. The book was published in Brazil, though. It’s about a future election in the US. Basically this is the story summed up.

A character in the book named Jane looks into a machine we could translate as “futuroscope” where she can see the future. What did Jane see? Jane saw a black man as US President in a distant year composed with 2’s and an 8’s, when medicine would be highly advanced and able to create doubles of human beings as clones and people would have their hair straightened. According to the book, a black man would be running for election against a white woman, and both were Democrats. The white Republican man would be trying for re-election. The final winner is the “Black President”. At that time, the United State population would be 314 million people, while today it is approximately 304 million and will probably reach 314 million in about 3 or 3½ years when Obama would still be in office, if elected. The book isn’t precisely accurate, one may say, but the number of right predictions is highly impressive as it is the black president prophecy first ever predicted in the History of the US for a year done with 2 and 8.

There is another authentic prophecy about Obama which even mentions his name. And there is a prophecy made by Nostradamus about a “black man”. These four authentic prophecies that might be related to him make the United State’s President one of the most predicted people in history. But he is not the only one. President Vladimir Putin also seems to be found in prophecies although what we find about him is not so good.

Nostradamus’ previously unreleased quatrains are a heavily guarded secret and the scholars have broken with tradition to reveal a few bit of info in the Smithsonian’s monthly circular.

             There are many assertions to be heard and read about the Man of Sin, a veritable kaleidoscope of opinions and interpretations, a sea, or a flood rather, to carry away the truth of it in the maelstrom.  But at least one truth can be firmly known: the revealed prophecies shroud his identity in mystery.  Yes, even his name is encrypted.  There must be some compelling reasons for God to purposefully seal up these things only to be understood in the fullness of time.  I now believe I understand at least some of this enigma, and if that is true, then it can only be that the time draws near indeed. 

Despite knowing that God had chosen to hide the matter, it was not without hope of success that I embarked on the quest for revelation; my understanding of the signs of the times told me that the return of the Lord could be imminent.  Perhaps now, on the eve of the end times, the Lord would be inclined to reveal it.

And I had a starting place: Revelation 17 talks about Babylon the Great and the beast she rides, including the following verses: 

 8The beast, which you saw, once was, now is not, and will come up out of the Abyss and go to his destruction.  The inhabitants of the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast, because he once was, now is not, and yet will come. 9This calls for a mind with wisdom.  The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits.  10They are also seven kings.  Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for a little while.  11The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king.  He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction.  (NIV)

Therefore, my first task was an attempt to identify all seven kings, and then to see which of the first 5 was also the 8th.  I constructed a chart with seven rows and different columns for information like Name, date, key facts, etc.  In slot 6 I penciled in the name of the Roman emperor Domitian, who reigned during the time John wrote the Revelation, sometime around 96 AD, (give or take a few years.)

A personality profile of Domitian exposes some unique characteristics:  ascended to the throne by the murder of a sibling, (his older brother Titus), came into power at a young age, sexually deviant, persecuted Christians, was assassinated after a relatively short reign, and to cap it off, he claimed that he himself was a god, worthy to be worshiped as a god.  This last characteristic of an extreme tyrant seems perhaps the most significant, especially since Domitian wanted desperately to believe in his own divinity, and thus immortality. 

If there had been only 5 Roman emperors prior to Domitian then search over, mystery solved!  But there were eleven, and it couldn’t possibly be that easy anyway.  Perhaps what I was looking for was the personality profile of the evil king in Daniel 11, a sort of common ‘spirit’ that linked these sovereigns throughout the centuries to each other.  (1 John 4: And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.)  Working backwards from Domitian through preceding rulers I came to Nero, who proved to be a perfect fit.  Nero went into slot 5.

Before Nero was Claudius, who wasn’t even close to the profile, yet his young nephew Caligula, whom Claudius succeeded, does fit.  I will skip the history lesson on Caligula and leave that for personal study, because it is a disgusting descent into debauchery and murder, to the point of turning the Senate into a brothel staffed by the Senator’s wives, in order to bring in more money to fund the Emperor’s excesses.  His own bodyguard assassinated him with what would these days be called “extreme prejudice”.  Caligula went into slot 4.

            Then I ran into a problem.  Having first looked at and then rejected Tiberius, Augustus, and Julius Caesar, I was unsure where in history to look next.  But I remembered the vision of the beasts in Daniel, and since the Greek kingdoms immediately pre-date the Roman Empire, I began to look at the Hellenistic Kingdoms that were the offshoots of the Empire of Alexander the Great.  Three great houses:  the Ptolemys of Egypt, the Antigonids of Macedonia, and the Seleucids of Syria, (the fourth part of Alexander’s empire, the kingdom of Lysimachus, produced no great leaders.)

            After an exhaustive search of the Ptolemys and the Antigonids, I came up empty handed.  But the house of Seleucid, the kings who figure so prominently in the 11th chapter of Daniel and in the wars of the Maccabees, soon began to present candidates for consideration.  King Antiochus IV, self-titled “Epiphany”, clearly matches the profile, and his actions were foretold in Daniel 11 verses 21-35.  He goes into slot 3.

            Working my way backwards then through the Syrian kings, and paying close attention to the narrative of Daniel 11, I found it difficult to choose between several nauseating tyrants of the Hellenistic era.  One of them, Seleucus II, fought a civil war against his brother, and slew him in combat upon the field of battle to win the kingdom.  He used to hold court naked, since a God could dress or undress any way he felt.  I put Seleucus II into slot 2.

            Then I came face to face with the founder of the Greek Kingdoms, a man of whom more has been written than any other human except the Lord Jesus Himself.  A student of Alexander’s biography is immediately overwhelmed by the flood of propaganda both pro and con, which has obscured the truth about him and blended his narrative with legend. The ancient historians: Polybius, Plutarch, Arrian, Diodorus, Curtius, and Justin to name a few all complained of the difficulty of sorting through conflicting accounts to excise the fabrications and retain the fact.  Mythification began prior to his death and continued into the Roman times, and still today we hear of the legends of Iskander throughout the Middle East.  Is it possible, after all these years and history rewrites, to arrive at the truth?  Something all the accounts agree upon:  Alexander stated that he was a god, and required men to worship him as a god.  Daniel 8 verse 21:  The shaggy goat is the king of Greece, and the large horn between his eyes is the first great king.  It seems appropriate to put Alexander into slot 1.

          After having identified (tentatively), the first six kings, I looked forward from the time of the Emperor Domitian, to see which one would go into slot 7.  The seventh has an additional clue from the scriptures:  he must remain for a while.  After research I put Commodus into slot 7.  I hope no one will simply take my word on these things, but investigate the matter on his or her own. 

          Some time after the reign of Commodus came Constantine, who abolished pagan worship, stopped the persecutions, and set up Christianity as the state religion.  From those days onward the Emperor was the acknowledged agent of God, but never again considered a god himself.  Constantine’s own proclamation sets the stage for the Middle Ages and every king that came after:  “There is one God, one empire, and one emperor!”

          So what about the eighth king, the one who once was, now is not, and will come up out of the Abyss and go to his destruction?  This king is one of the seven, in fact one of the five fallen ones, but which one?  Are there deeper clues? 

           Revelation 13:  3One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed.  The whole world was astonished and followed the beast.  4Men worshipped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshipped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast?  Who can make war against him?”  Then the last verse of chapter 13:  This calls for wisdom.  If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is a man’s number.  His number is 666. 

           All of the interpretations I had at that time heard about the number 666 related to the bad guy of the end times.  What if the number is the value of his name when he was on earth the first time?  What if this guy was so well known in ancient times that his name had to be encrypted to keep it a secret?  Which of the fallen five is he?

           The first clue, the fatal wound that was healed, fit perfectly with only one of the five, Alexander, who sustained an arrow wound that punctured his lung during an assault on the citadel of Multan in the Indian Punjab.  After the arrow was removed he fainted, and the word went out that the king had died, but later they noticed that he was still alive.  Once it became known that he had survived the terrible wound, the rest of the neighboring kingdoms came and presented themselves in surrender. 

           The second clue has to do with his military prowess.  Who can make war against him?  If someone were to ask the question, “Who is the greatest general that ever lived?”  There is only one name in history, repeated by the likes of Hannibal, Julius Caesar, Napoleon, Hitler, Macarthur, Patton, and Schwartzkopf:  Alexander the Great.

           The third clue is that the number of his name calculates out to 666.  Therefore, I tried to calculate the numeric value of all of the king’s names.  In ancient Greek there were no numerals, but instead the letters of the alphabet were assigned a number value, and a period was placed after the letter to show that it was a number and not a letter.  Any school child could easily calculate the value of anyone’s name by simply adding the value of each of the letters.  I had to attempt to translate the Roman names into Greek before I could calculate their values, with very unreliable results.  The first pass through the names revealed none even close, and although after some manipulation one can get the name Nero Caesar to come out with the correct numeric values, I remained skeptical of such number bending.  Then I realized that Alexander was known as “the great”, so I recalculated. I used an English-Greek Interlinear Bible to find the spelling of the name Alexander, and “the Great” from “Babylon the Great”.  I used Webster’s Greek Dictionary to find the numeric values of the Greek alphabet.

            My hand began to tremble and a chill ran down my spine.

            I began to re-read the prophecies, now with the identity of the beast in mind, and suddenly dark verses began to take on new light.

            Isaiah 14: 4That you will take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, “9Hell from beneath is excited about you, to meet you at your coming.  It stirs up the dead for you, all the chief ones of the earth.  It has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.  10They all shall speak and say to you; ‘Have you also become as weak as we?  Have you become like us?’  11Your pomp is brought down to hell.  12How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations!  13For you have said in your heart:  ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; 14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’  15Yet you shall be brought down to Hell, to the lowest depths of the Pit.  16Those who see you will gaze at you, and consider you, saying:  ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms, 17who made the world as a wilderness and destroyed its cities, who did not open the house of his prisoners?’

            18All the kings of the nations, all of them, sleep in glory, everyone in his own house; 19but you are cast out of your grave like an abominable branch, like the garment of those who are slain, thrust through with a sword, who go down to the stones of the pit, like a corpse trodden underfoot.  20You will not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land and slain your people.  The offspring of evildoers shall never be named.  21Prepare slaughter for his children because of the iniquity of their father, lest they rise up and possess the land, and fill the face of the world with cities.”

            I always thought these verses were talking about Satan, yet a close examination shows that the subject of the prophecy is a man, because he has died and in verse 16 they call him a man.  The accomplishments of this king of Babylon fit perfectly with the life of Alexander.  Both of his sons were murdered, the first, the son of Barsine, by Roxanne a rival queen who was at that time pregnant, and then twelve years later she and her son were repaid in kind by Cassander the son of Antipater.  Alexander’s titles included the following:  King of Macedonia, Hegemon (Military Leader) of the Greek States, Pharaoh Son of Zeus-Ammon, King of Babylon, The Great King of Persia, (also called the King of Kings), and months before he died in Babylon, he forced the Hellenistic world to declare that he was a god.  His body was placed in a glass coffin in his temple in Alexandria, and was on display for 500 years.  Julius Caesar remarked about how Alexander was incredibly preserved some 300 years after his death and appeared to be only sleeping.  Gaius Octavian Caesar Augustus, when he had secured his control of the Roman Empire, danced amid flowers before coffin of Alexander.   The Emperor Caligula claimed to be the inheritor of Alexander, and took the golden body armor from his mummy and wore it himself. 

           When Constantine became the Roman Emperor, as mentioned earlier, he instituted Christianity as the state religion, and outlawed all of the pagan worship, including that of the cult of Alexander.   Sometime in the early fourth century AD, the mummy of Alexander was moved and his tomb, like all of the tombs of the Ptolemaic dynasty, remains hidden to this day.  I believe, however, that verse 19 predicts that the tomb of Alexander will be found.

            There is another question about this prophecy: why is he called Lucifer, the son of the dawn?  Does this relate to a demonic parentage?  Is Alexander Satan’s very own son?  I can think of no one else in all of history who qualifies as well.  The verse in Revelation 17 that we looked at earlier, talks about the beast who once was, now is not, and yet come up out of the Abyss and go to his destruction.  The verse in Isaiah shows that he will first go down to the pit, which is the Hebrew name for the Abyss.

            Revelation 9:  1Then the fifth angel sounded:  and I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth.  To him was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss.  2And he opened the shaft of the Abyss, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace.   3Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth….  11And they had as king over them the angel of the shaft of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.

            Isaiah 19:18:  In that day five cities in the land of Egypt will speak the language of Canaan and swear by the Lord of hosts; one will be called the City of Destruction. 

           Historically, Alexandria and the Nile delta have been an enclave for Judaism and Christianity.  Both Abaddon and Apollyon mean ‘destroyer’.  Therefore it is conclusive that Alexander is the eight king, who was, then not, and yet will come up out of the Abyss; Alexandria is the City of Destruction, (or ‘the city of the Destroyer’) and Alexander is Abaddon, the king of the shaft of the Abyss.  In an interesting parallel with Jesus’ name for himself, Alexander would be both the first and the last of the evil kings. One thing is for certain, Alexander the Great was no ordinary human being.

            Even in the Koran is Alexander mentioned:  Sura 18:  82They will ask you of Dhoulkarnain, the two horned.  Say:  I will recite to you an account of him.  83We established his power on earth and made a way for him to everything.  And a route he followed, 84until he reached the setting of the sun, and he found it to set in a marshy wellspring, and nearby he found a people.  85We said, ‘O Dhoulkarnain, either chastise or treat them generously’

            86‘The unholy,’ said he, ‘we will surely chastise.  87But as to him who believes and does that which is right, he shall have a generous recompense, and we will lay on them our easy behests.’

            88Then followed he a route 89until he reached the rising of the sun, and he found it to rise on a people to whom we had given no shelter from it.  90Thus it was.  And we had full knowledge of the forces that were with him.

            91Then he followed a route 92until he came between the two mountains, beneath which he found a people who scarce understood a language.  93They said, ‘O Dhoulkarnain, verily, Gog and Magog waste this land; shall we then pay you tribute, so you can build a rampart between us and them?’

            94He said, ‘Better than your tribute is the might wherewith Allah has strengthened me; but help me strenuously, and I will set a barrier between you and them.  95Bring me blocks of iron,’ –until when it filled the space between the mountain sides- ‘Ply your bellows,’ –until when he had made it red with fire, ‘Bring me molten brass that I may pour upon it.’  96And Gog and Magog were not able to scale it, neither were they able to dig through it.  97‘This,’ said he, ‘is a mercy from Allah:  98but when the promise of Allah shall come to pass, he will turn it to dust; and the promise of Allah is true.’

            99On that day we will let them dash like billows one over another; and there shall be a blast on the trumpet, and we will gather them together in a body.  100And we will set Hell on that day close by the infidels.

            I quote the Koran here simply because I think it is significant that Mohammad and Allah wanted to take credit for Alexander’s exploits.  Moreover, if Alexander does return, then Islam will accept him as their protector, enforcer, and king.

            The final question then is how does the eighth king return?  I believe the bible when it says that it is given to men once to die, and then the judgment.  I do not therefore believe in reincarnation, but I do believe in a resurrection.  Still, the prophecy is clear that the eighth king does indeed return to the earth, and though he is a unique human individual, yet he is also everything of his first manifestation.  I have not been able to find any scriptures that explain how the man of sin returns to earth, but I am still looking.

            If you will indulge me, I can supply a scientific theory.  Let us suppose that they do discover the tomb of Alexander, and they are able to get a good enough DNA sample that they can give birth to a clone.  Since the only difference between any kind of life on earth is the sequence of it’s base-pairs, our spirits must be linked to the physical world through DNA, (having all those little strings vibrating with the same frequency in a liquid medium creates harmonics and standing waves), and re-animating the DNA of a deceased person by cloning may restore the spirit right from the point of death as if it had never stopped. 

           If it becomes fashionable to specify in one’s will that after death their body be cloned, and all their estate be inherited by the clone; then mankind will have attained to a form of immortality and will no longer need God or have fear of judgment after death, (although what then we do about the world’s population is anybody’s guess).  And how can we resist the urge to clone famous dead-people and resurrect them, so to speak?  Shall we bring back Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Napoleon, St. Peter, King David, Pharaoh Ramses, or especially Alexander the Great?

           The spirit of Alexander would be reincarnated by the re-birth of his own body.  Would he have memories?  I think not, but he might have dreams from his spirit of those memories and might at some point in his growth realize who he is.  To the world, the clone of Alexander would be the sensation of all time.  Islam would accept him, and he would find an army of devoted followers fanatically loyal to his person.  And if he retained any of the ambition and genius of his first tour of earth, then world conquest will be his unstoppable destiny. 

            According to Daniel 7: 21I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, 22until the ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in  favor of the saints of the most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom.  Revelation 13:  5And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.  6Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.  7It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them.  And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.  

          I believe that the time draws near.  Everyone will be given the choice: accept Alexander and a new ecumenical one-world faith, or find your rest in the grave.  Few will be those true Christians that are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, but when the power of the holy people has been finally broken, the Jesus will return with great glory and the mighty angels of heaven to execute judgement on earth, to ressurect the righteous, and usher in the eternal kingdom.

When you start the year following the year thousand thousand, the earth will shake in many places and cities will collapse, all that has been built without listening to the wise be threatened and destroyed; the mud sink and the floor people will open under palaces. The man is stubborn because pride is his folly will not listen to repeated warnings of the earth, but the fire destroyed the new Romas and the debris accumulated, the poor and the barbarians, in spite of the legions, abandoned plunder the riches .

When you start the year following the year thousand thousand, the sun will burn the earth, the air will no longer be protected from fire veil. There will be more than a curtain holes and burning light will consume the skin and eyes. The sea water will rise as angry, cities and the banks will be flooded and whole continents will disappear, and men will take refuge in the heights and forgetting what happened, begin reconstruction.

Today, we live in a nation that is morally bankrupt.  Not only are there few consequences for incompetence, but outright corruption is allowed to fester until institutions collapse.  Churches file for bankruptcy not because of financial mismanagement, but because they’ve repeatedly raped children for decades.  Camden, New Jersey has the second highest crime rate in America, yet it must lay off half its police force because our police state is running out of money.  Crime profiteers have broken the taxpayers’ back, without even beginning to solve our crime problem.  Drug and alcohol abuse have skyrocketed since the beginning of the recession.  So much for the trillion dollars spent on the War on Drugs.  Where are the results?

While there are always those who look for the apocalypse, many are now hoping it will come soon.  After Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was shot, people wondered whether she would recover and run for president in six years.  Could she fulfill Revelation 13, 3?  “I saw that one of its heads seemed to have been mortally wounded, but this mortal wound has healed.  Fascinated, the whole world followed after the beast.”  A head refers to a head of state, etc…

My point isn’t that this poor lady is the devil, and if she were she could hardly damage the nation any more than what our politicians have done over the last twenty years. The problem is that there is so little hope in our leaders’ ability to solve our problems that people are looking forward to the end.  What impact will this have on their thinking and behavior?

After the shooting in Tucson, there was a lot of attention given to the tone of public discourse.  What about the substance?  I don’t see how we start holding our leaders accountable for what they’ve done in a nice tone.  Millions are losing their livelihoods and there are so many tragedies as a result.  It’s absurd that the debate hasn’t become more blunt.  Our politicians have now wasted two years dancing around the issues with their rhetoric. 

Our nation’s fiscal crisis is the direct result of a bankruptcy of morals, ideals and leadership.  When leaders fail and we don’t recognize it, and discredit them, what incentive is there for fellow politicians to do the right thing?  None, and the failure becomes systemic.  We’ve stepped over a precipice and only after falling hundreds of feet have some realized that errors have been made, others fight to maintain our suicidal policies.

It won’t be one leader that saves us.  Only an informed public can save a democracy.  Let’s not waste any time trying to figure out who will be the antichrist, or we might end up seeing him/her everywhere.  Let’s advocate the ideas that will turn America around.

Here’s a secret. Beware of false prophets and fear mongers who see every United States President as the antichrist which is quite nonsense to me. Because there is only one antichrist just like there’s only one Christ and each President only has four or eight years of power anyway, no matter how many people like him or hate him, the new President always becomes the new antichrist around the world and pictures of distortions of his face on posters and random photographs now rampant on the Internet displays him as the new evil in the world because he can’t fix everything fast enough and only cares about himself, the rich, and making war.

Every major empire for thousands of years have had their own political corruption embedded into their governmental system and the United States is not immune to this either. Think of the Egyptians, the Roman Empire, Persian Empire, Genghis Khan and the Mongol Empire, the Spanish Empire, and the British Empire. Granted America is now a superpower Democratic country, with influences and beliefs that stretches around the world. Russia held that title too and the Chinese are fast becoming the next possible superpower. The true antichrist could spring up anywhere and in any country at any time.

We are living on top of a dragon that is already awakened. The United States of America was given the nickname back in the start of the Second World War, when the Japanese admiral of the Imperial Japanese Navy Chuichi Nagumo led the Japanese fleet to attack Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, on December 7, 1941. Even though his attack was victorious, afterwards he was already afraid that Japan had “awakened a sleeping dragon”. He was worried that the United States of America was actually a very powerful country and was merely a sleeping dragon ready to pounce on anyone that threatens its sovereignty. Nagumo was right. The Dragon has now fully awakened and the world has taken notice of this fact by either loving America or greatly fearing the country. In the coming years ahead, a new Dragon may soon be rising unbeknownst to all of us.

The time to worry and be concerned is whenever you have a totalitarianism government, conversion into a military police state, civil liberties and rights of the people being taken away, people reduced to as a commodity, slavery, or seen as mere cattle, unlawful racial profiling and discrimination, outlawing certain religions and spiritual beliefs that go against the State’s rules and unheard-of laws of conduct as dictated by a single leader or heads of state. When people living in their own country begin to feel that they’re stuck in some kind of prison and are afraid of their own government and President. As an example, the world’s latest and two best known, and most powerful and dangerous totalitarian leaders of their time, where Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin.

Truth is nobody knows who the antichrist really is until he starts killing a lot of people as in a genocidal war orchestrated by someone like “Adolf Hitler” assumes command of his country and becomes a megalomaniac bent on changing the world to fit his corrupt vision and ideology in so doing, murdering thousands of people in the process. I do NOT think that the Illuminati is innocent, cool, or benign. All Illuminati members or followers are devil worshipers and very corrupt. I find the Illuminati rather… guilty, corrupt, and naive to follow someone such as the devil for worldly dreams.

We do have to realize that the physical world will end as it is at some point. By the Holy Spirit Peter (2 Peter 3:10)  writes, “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” While that seems quite harsh, one should read in Revelation 21 and 22 about what follows the destruction of the earth. It is something to look forward to if one is ready.

World Vs. Age

So why do I assert that the Holy Bible clearly shows the physical world will not end in 2012, but the time is reserved for the distant future from the initial publication of this article?

First, let us clear up a matter regarding wording. In the New Testament (N.T.), which was written in Koine (Common) Greek, there are three Greek words which can be translated as “world,” one of which is “aion.” W. E. Vine[1] describes its meaning as, “An age, a period of time, marked in the N.T. usage by spiritual or moral characteristics…”  From “aion,” we get the English “aeon,” meaning an immeasurably or indefinitely long period of time, age. 

The phrase, “end(s) of the world,” found in some versions occurs seven times in the New Testament: Matthew 13:39, 13:9, 24:3, 28:20, Romans 10:18, 1 Corinthians 10:11 and Hebrews 9:26. Except for Romans 10:18, the word for “world” is aion. The Greek word in Romans 10:18 means the inhabited earth where it is used to point out that the Gospel had been proclaimed great distances from Jerusalem.

Numerous events and conditions are prophesied by Christ Matthew 24, and if one is using an older translation, considering current events they can readily think that the world will soon be destroyed. But in verse 3, according to the actual Greek, the disciples did not ask Christ about the end of the world, but about the end of the age.

Many who study the Word of God feel there are a number of ages the earth must pass through before its destruction and re-creation. Some, like myself, see seven or eight time periods.

We are currently in the Age of the Church, or what some call the Age of Grace. Looking at the various ages that have occurred, each age concluded and the next began when certain significant events took place. For example, the first age, the Age of Innocence (or Paradise) ended with the sin of Adam and the promise of redemption from sins.

Regarding the Church Age, many like myself feel the rapture of the true Church will mark its end[2]. For those unfamiliar with the term, “rapture,” the term expresses the truths found in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. “Rapture” is not based on a Greek word, but a Latin word used in the Vulgate that is equivalent to the Greek word for the term “caught up” in verse 17.

Given the fact that Israel was politically and geographically restored in 1948 (Isaiah 66:8), many of us feel the end of the Church Age, but not the world (earth), draws near. Though the earth will not be destroyed in the near future, given the description of the next age, those here for that next time period might wish it had been destroyed.

The next age, which some call “The Great Tribulation,” can begin at anytime, which might, or might not happen, in 2012. Again, the fact that Israel is back on the map means the Temple could very well be rebuilt, which, in turn, would provide the fulfillment of 2 Thessalonians 2:4 where the Antichrist sits in the Temple, declaring himself to be God.

Seven Years

The ancient prophecy in Daniel 9:24-27 indicates God levied seventy sevens (translated weeks in some versions) upon His people, the Jews, and upon Jerusalem, as written in verse 24, “…to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.”

Though the Hebrew for sevens may be translated as “weeks,” it can mean a set of seven years[3], which the wording of Daniel 9:24-27 points to. Reading the passage carefully, we see Messiah would be cut off (which could mean killed) at the end of the 69th seven (seven sevens, and sixty-two sevens). That left one set of seven years to be completed.

Verse 27 states, “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”

Based upon Christ’s prophecies (Matthew 24:15) and other Scriptures, the “he” in verse 27 is the Antichrist, better known in Revelation as the Beast. We see from this verse that he will make an agreement with the Jews for seven years. The creation of that agreement starts the beginning of those seven years.

However, verse 27 shows the Antichrist (the Beast) will break that agreement after 3 and one-half years. The Jewish people will then face their darkest days, while the world goes through successive judgments from God. Both Old and New Testament prophecies state the nations of the world will then come against Israel. Armageddon will take place, and the Lord Christ Himself will appear. Revelation 19:20-21 states that then, “…the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.”

As of the date of the creation of this article, this last seven years of Daniel 9 has not occurred. Thinking in sets of seven years instead of weeks is supported by Daniel 8:14, 12:11, 12:12, Revelation 11:3, and 12:6, where the amount of days listed in each verse roughly corresponds to three and one-half years (the midst of the week).

Plus 1,000 Years

We read in Revelation 20 that after His victory at Armageddon Christ will physically rule on earth for 1,000 years. This, of course, is another time period, quite often referred to as the Millennial Reign. Israel will expand its borders (Ezekiel 48:1-29) and Jerusalem will be the capital of the world (Isaiah 24:23). If you are a non-Jew reading this who perhaps lives in Palestine, Lebanon, or some other country or territory that will be affected, according to Ezekiel, God will not forget nor neglect you. Depending upon certain conditions, you or your posterity could also dwell in the land.

One of the most important things about the Millennial Reign, and an objective of the previous time period, the Great Tribulation, is the spiritual salvation of the Jews that survived past Armageddon. If you will, please read at least Zechariah 12, especially verses 9 to 14.

Anymore, when I read that precious passage, tears come to my eyes, for it speaks of the spiritual salvation of the Israeli survivors of Armageddon. Note particularly verse 10: “And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.”

Jesus who was born in Bethlehem, known as Jesus (Yeshua) of Nazareth, Christ (Messiah), testified by the Apostles and Scripture itself to be the only begotten Son of God, pierced by Roman soldiers due to the will of certain Jews who would not commit to Him and accept. His Messiahship, will appear. The merciful grace of God shall be poured upon that Israeli remnant. Additional prophecies indicate non-Israelis will also commit to Christ.

Also, not only will Christ reign, but He will place under His authority throughout the earth those who had truly committed to Him prior to Armageddon (2 Timothy 2:12, Jude 14-15). All the kingdoms of the world will yield to this theocracy (Daniel 2:35, Revelation 11:15), the result being peace on earth for 1,000 years.

Well, certainly this has not occurred, so add 1,000 years before the destruction of the earth.

Plus, A Little More

When I was a little tyke I heard that Armageddon was the final war. However, if we objectively read Revelation we will see future events for the most part in sequential order, at least from Revelation 19 to the conclusion of the book. Armageddon occurs in Revelation 19, but in Revelation 20:7-9 we see a battle involving Gog and Magog.

The actual length of this final battle is unknown. If Revelation 20:7-9 is a summary statement of Ezekiel 38:8 through much of chapter 39, then based upon Ezekiel 39:9 and 12 one might add at least just under eight years to the previous figures.

Summing Things Up

Mathematically, the seven years with the Millennial Reign and the final war add up to something over 1,007 years. This length of time automatically diminishes once the Antichrist makes that covenant with Israel as mentioned in Daniel 9:27. However, if you are not truly committed to Christ, in the merciful love of God I caution you that you have no reason to relax.

While the world will not be completely destroyed in the near future, if Christ is not your personal Savior and King your “world” can end at anytime. For example, Revelation 13 indicates that during the next age at some point you will not be able to buy or sell unless you have the mark of the Beast, managed by the False Prophet, on your forehead or your right hand. Your refusal to take the mark is your death sentence. If you do not have Christ as your Savior, looking at Revelation 5 to 19 the next time period will be worse than any other time in your life that you have gone through.

Aside from this, any of us can leave this physical life at any time. During our stay on earth we have the opportunity to join with, and stay with, Christ. By committing to Christ, God grants us the right to inherit Eternal Life (Matthew 9:29). Christ Himself in John 14:6 clearly said that He was the only way to the Father. In Christ’s own words, without Him as our personal Savior we are already condemned (John 3:17). The belief required on our part is much more than mental assent (James 2:19), but requires our loving, trusting complete surrender to Him (Matthew 11:28-30, 13:44-46, Mark 10:15, Luke 14:33).

I strongly urge you to trust Him today. For those who are truly committed to Him, let us do what we can to be the salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13) and the light of the world (Matthew 5:14) before our time expires, one way or the other.

Final Comment: The purpose of this article is expressed in its title. Therefore no attempt was made to explore every theory, viewpoint and possibility regarding the rapture of the church, the Great Tribulation, or any other component of eschatology.

Obama’s Spiritual Journey

Obama’s journey to faith has been a long and controversial road. It all began at Columbia University, where he was a lost twenty year old trying to find the meaning to life. He would fast and often spend days alone in spiritual exploration. He explored the writings of Saint Augustine, Friedrich Nietzsche, and Graham Greene. When he felt up to it on a Sunday morning, he would visit an African American church such as Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem (Kliff).

President Obama was born to a Christian-turned-secular mother and a Muslim-turned-atheist father. He was taught in a Muslim school. Obama allegedly later became a Christian and was baptized in the early 1990’s at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. His baptism was very controversial, performed by the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, who is infamous for damning America in the pulpit and preaching racism against whites. While Obama has found Christ, he stays open minded to the idea that he could be entirely wrong about his faith. This open-mindedness shows Obama’s lack of faith.

            Obama’s spiritual quest is driven by a desire to have a community that he can call home, which he feels that he missed in his childhood. He is motivated by a need to fit in. Obama became an organizer, in which he began to examine his faith to a higher degree.

“It’s hard for me to imagine being true to my faith—and not thinking beyond myself, and not thinking about what’s good for other people, and not acting in a moral and ethical way. I submitted myself to His will, and dedicated myself to discovering His truth.”

After being an organizer, Obama went to Harvard Law School. He joined Trinity when he returned to Chicago as a young lawyer who wanted to become a husband, father, and be successful. Around the time of Obama’s baptism, he studied the Bible with gifted teachers. When Obama married his wife, Michelle, they went to church two or three times a month. After their first daughter, Malia, was born, they went less often because of the difficulty of getting in the packed church and taking care of a small child while in the service. The family became less involved in church when Obama ran for the U.S. Senate. They sometimes didn’t go for months. Their two daughters have never attended Sunday school (Kliff).

When controversy surrounded Obama with his connection to Jeremiah Wright, he cut off his connection with him, losing a friend and the sense of belonging to a home. Obama is now spiritually rootless. He prays everyday for the forgiveness of sins, the protection of family, and that he is carrying out God’s will. He sometimes reads his Bible in the evening for reflection.

Obama’s Unbiblical Views

Obama believes in personal salvation through Jesus Christ, but he also believes that following the Golden Rule can get you to Heaven. He believes that his mother went to Heaven, despite that she never embraced Christianity (Kliff). This flies in the face of Christian teachings from Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace, are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Comfort). Christianity teaches that grace comes by faith and not works. To believe that works can help someone get to Heaven is to follow the doctrine of Mormonism (Comfort).

In the past few years, Obama’s views have shifted on what he believes involving faith based issues such as abortion and same-gender marriage. Obama favored same-gender marriage in 1996 and wanted to fight efforts to prohibit such marriages (Linkins). Now, he says that he does not support same-gender marriage but does support giving these couples the same rights as married couples. Isn’t that the same thing as supporting it?

Obama’s liberal view on this issue conflict with Biblical scripture which states in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 “Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God” (Comfort). When this passage mentions “abusers of themselves with mankind” it is speaking of homosexuals. Effeminates also cover homosexuals. According to Obama’s faith, homosexuality is evil, yet he supports homosexual marriage rights. It seems that the first bit of this passage stating “Do you not know…” describes Obama perfectly.

Obama’s view on abortion also conflicts with scripture. He lifted George W. Bush’s ban on the federal funding of abortions. Conservative groups have criticized him for his broken promises involving abortions.

This viewpoint, and these actions, flies in the face of Obama’s faith and what the Bible says. God said in Jeremiah 1:5 “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb” (Comfort). This scripture verse implies that life begins at conception and that God knows every person’s destiny before they are conceived. Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them”. This verse implies that every man and woman is created in the image of God. Therefore, man is God’s own personal creation, not to be killed by abortions (Comfort).

            In Turkey, Obama gave a speech about Christianity. In trying to reach out to the Muslim community, he spat in the face of the United States which was founded on Biblical principles.

“We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation, we consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values.”

            While America does appear to be a Christian nation and sixty-two percent of its citizens believe this, the amount of people with faith in the United States is declining (Montopoli).

            America’s Fall From God

In 1990, the percentage of self-identified Christians in the United States stood at 86 percent. 2008 statistics showed that the percent of American Christians now has dropped ten percent, now at 76 (Meacham). The current issues in America are showing the drop in religious affiliation. Roe v. Wade was passed in 1973, legalizing abortion in the United States. Since then, federal funding has been legalized. It is estimated that there are 3,700 abortions per day in the United States alone (Institute).

            In 1962, the court case Engel v. Vitale ruled that school prayer is unconstitutional. This was ruled when parents sued a New York school for requiring the reciting of prayer before classes on a school day (Anonymous). Separation of Church and State continue to destroy sacred standards.

            Obama spoke at a rally in which he spoke about America now being a nation of all faiths. He said that even if every non-Christian was driven out of America, we still would have conflict over what to teach in schools. He then mocked the Bible by saying Leviticus says slavery is okay and that eating shellfish is an abomination. He also says that Deuteronomy says that you can stone your children. He fails to realize that these two passages are from the first five books, which were written for the Israelites while they were in the wilderness for forty years. The majority of the laws in those five books do not apply today. Most of them were changed by Jesus in the New Testament (Obama Mocks the Bible!).

            Obama also called the Sermon on the Mount “radical” in a sense that it was evil. By doing this, Obama insulted the greatest sermon in history, which was preached by Christ who he allegedly follows. Later in the rally, Obama spoke that “people haven’t been reading their Bible”. Obama’s liberal view of the passages of scripture above show that he has not been reading his Bible. (Obama Mocks the Bible!).

            Obama made a second point in the rally in which he said that if a religious person in office cannot make their policies based on a religious viewpoint. He said that they must make it universal. He spoke of how we should put man’s will over God’s in political issues (Obama Mocks the Bible!). This shows his non-Christ like personality. When Jesus was praying in the garden, he asked that God’s will be done and not his. Obama’s non-Christlike characteristics make his faith questionable.

            Obama’s Muslim Heritage

Before the election, much controversy surrounded Obama about his Muslim background. He was accused of being a practicing Muslim. He spoke out against this many times and it was only by his word that he was ever proven not to be a Muslim. Humanity is a very gullible species. After Obama denied being a Muslim so many times, they believed him.

            Obama made a huge mistake on “This Week” of referencing to “…my Muslim faith” while being interviewed by ABC’s George Stephanopoulos. He was referencing to Christianity but brought up the words “my Muslim faith”. While this could have been a simple speech error, it does leave open room for speculation. Stephanopoulos quickly corrected him and said “your Christian faith”. Obama corrected himself and continued the interview (Bellantoni).

            Obama has not only denied that he is a Muslim, but that he ever was one. This is a questionable statement. Pictures have been released of him wearing a turban with other Muslims. Also, Obama was taught in a radically Islamic school in Indonesia. Obama also attended a Catholic school where his mother registered him as a Muslim. Obama’s first grade teacher and one of his close boyhood friends both stated that Obama was a Muslim. In third grade, Obama attended a school where the students took weekly lessons on Islam. In Obama’s autobiography Dreams from My Father, Obama mentions that he studied the Koran and describes his school as a Muslim school. Could Obama really be a Muslim, masquerading as a Christian (Meyers)?

                        The Antichrist

The Bible speaks of a ruler who will rise up in the end times and rule the world. He will be seen as a God in the world by those who do not follow Jesus Christ. This ruler will be known as the Antichrist. Just as there has been much controversy surrounding Obama’s Muslim faith, there have also been many skeptics who say that Obama is the prophesized Antichrist.

            The Antichrist is supposed to arise at a time in which the church is suffering from apostasy (Mickey). Webster defines apostasy as departure from one’s religion, principles, or cause (Webster). As shown in the recent Newsweek article, The End of Christian America, Christianity is declining (Meacham). The Antichrist will also arise as a calming influence when the world is in chaos and seeking peace (Mickey). Obama came into office claiming that Bush was responsible for the chaos in the economy and that he would fix it and bring peace. This link connects him to the Antichrist. The Antichrist’s name will somehow have a connection with the number 666 (Mickey). Barack Hussein Obama has eighteen letters in it. Eighteen divided by six would be three. Barack Obama connects to the Antichrist in more ways than one.

            In the Tribulation period, the Antichrist will claim to be God and will be seen throughout the world as God. Many people have viewed Obama as a messiah figure. In a recent poll, the top heroes of America were ranked. Obama was ranked first while Jesus Christ was ranked second (Orr). Is Barack Obama really a greater hero the people of American than Jesus Christ? Why would a mere mortal, who was elected to a political position, top the Son of God?

            Whether or not Obama is the Antichrist is still undetermined at this point. However, if he is, he has done a perfect job of deceiving the world into thinking that he is a perfect and mighty figure. What is the world coming to when the Messiah is viewed below a simple man? Obama’s faith and morality is possibly one of the most unknown topics in the country at the current time.

            Decide For Yourself

Barack Obama is a professing Christian with Anti-Christian viewpoints. Many people have come forward and said that he is a Muslim. Records show that he was a registered Muslim in school. Prophetic clues show that he could be the Antichrist, to be indwelled by Satan and rule the world. No matter what his faith might be, Americans shouldn’t simply listen to what Obama says about his faith and believe it. Americans need to learn to think for themselves and do the research about these issues. Only then will Americans learn the truth about the faith of Barack Obama. Whether he is a Christian, a Muslim, the Antichrist, or all of the above, Americans must learn to do the research and find the truth themselves.
