Protests against Wall Street greed and corruption are spreading across America. In most larger cities protesters have set up in public parks with generators to run laptops and are printing newspapers and speaking to the public. Atlanta’s mayor, Kasim Reed demanded the protesters in Woodruff Park disburse and go home, but later changed his mind and gave them until November 7. More than 700 protesters were arrested in New York trying to cross the Brooklyn Bridge. Altercations have erupted between police and protesters, but for the most part, protests have remained peaceful.

You better believe it. This is true. There is big talk at the Whitehouse. What is Obama saying now? What is the update on the state of unrest in Ulster? It’s still nuts!

The demonstrators burned four police cars and smashed doors and windows of several buildings in town.

The number of police killed while on duty in Canada is small but one is always to many!

A big part of cultural diversity is how people interpret what someone else is communicating.

There has been much debate and research controversy over the factors that influence the decline in juvenile and adult crime arrests. The influencing factors are situational crime prevention, target-hardening techniques, number of repeat offenders, offenders never caught and aging out process (maturation process). Drug involvement, adolescent/parental relationships, and teenage parents are also factors for the percentile of parents involved. With this said, deciphering statistic research can be a daunting task as different variables such as the number of arrests from a single offender to crimes that are non-reported.
