They lived in caves or river terrace with wooden shelters of twigs and leaves. There is no single opinion that classifies the Paleolithic cultures such as the culture that are considered advanced and high in the sense of worth when Plato wrote his book.

ATTRACT was an article written by Professor Dr. H. Priyatna Abdurrasyid, Ph.D., in this day Monday, October 2, 2006 about the mythical continent of Atlantis which turned out to Indonesia. His writing output to quote a book in 2005 the work of a Brazilian Professor Nunes dos Santos Arysio entitled “Atlantis, The Lost Continent Finally Found, The Definitive Localization of Plato’s Lost Civilization”.

Frankly, I have never read the book. However, searching through cyberspace to find one with a promotional publication of the book cover images are very interesting and provocative. The cover of the book shows the western Indonesian archipelago, is none other than the what was once known as the Great Sunda Islands, consisting of the island of Sumatra, Java and Kalimantan, which is united by a broad range known as Sundaland.

So Sundaland, or when the sea receded during the late Pleistocene into the vast lands referred to in the scientific world as the International Geological Sundaland, is the lost continent of Atlantis according to Professor Santos? Really proud! Naturally, if the conclusions of Professor Priyatna end of his writing that Indonesia is regarded as the heir to Atlantis, should make us thankful, not low self-esteem in the international arena, because in his time Atlantis was the center of world civilization (”PR”, October 2, 2006).

But many obstacles that greatly interferes with the opinion of Professor Santos who catapulted the name of Indonesia, or rather Sundaland, as the lost continent of Atlantis. Wedge-wedge that raged in my mind eventually lead to some internet sites about Atlantis. Then, my computer mouse stranded on the source of the early emergence of the Atlantis myth, namely the dialogue Timaeus and Critias, written by Plato.

Critias story

Atlantis myth arises when professors engage in dialogue with the third disciple of Socrates; Timaeus, Critias and Hermocrates. Critias told Socartes before Timaeus and Hermocrates the story of a country with a civilization which was then sunk by the god Zeus because the population is considered to be sinners. Critias claims the story is a true story, a poem handed down from his own great-grandfather, also named Critias Critias.

Critias, the great-grandfather, knew about Atlantis from a Greek named Solon.Solon himself lectured on Atlantis by an Egyptian priest, when he visited the city of Sais in the Nile delta. Imagine the oral stories handed down that may be a lot of distortion when Critias, the great-grandson, recounts to Socrates, before it was written by Plato.

Outside of the distortion that may occur, writing about the Socratic dialogues, Timaeus and Critias Plato wrote about Atlantis that is written into the source of the primary reference. From the dialog that is reflected in a prosperous country, Gemah Ripah jinawi called Atlantis. The location of the land is located in front of the strait is flanked by the Pillars of Hercules (the Pillars of Heracles).

The country was larger than Libya and Asia combined. There is a road to the other islands of the place where it will encounter the other side of the country surrounded by sea true. This sea is located in the Straits of Heracles is the only port with a narrow gate. But the other is the sea where the ocean surrounding the continent is a continent without borders.

In Atlantis there is a large empire that controlled the whole island and the surrounding area, including Libya, the columns of Heracles, as far as Egypt, and in Europe so far Tyrrhenia. Then came the earthquake and the floods that hit the country. In just one day and night, all sunk into the earth’s inhabitants, and Atlantis disappeared swallowed by the sea.

Tragic story that gave rise to the myth of Atlantis, when we look at it would lead to geographically around the Mediterranean Sea (Mediterranean). In addition to the names of Libya, Egypt, Europe and Tyrrhenia, also called the strait with the pillars of Hercules which is none other than the Strait of Gibraltar (or in Arabic, Jabaltarik Strait), the straits of the Mediterranean between Europe and Africa is a gateway to the Atlantic Ocean . Did Atlantis really a continent larger than Libya and Asia combined? This opinion was opposed also as one translation of the Greek meson (larger) with mezon (in between).

Sundaland

True, the connotation of Atlantis does not have to refer the Atlantic Ocean. But based on historical and geographical environment, the experts finally concentrate on looking for Atlantis in the Mediterranean Sea, between Libya and Turkey, known as Asia at that time. Before Professor Santos argues that Atlantis is Sundaland, the most widely accepted opinion is that the country was in the middle of the Ocean of Atlantis itself, namely in Portugal’s Azores Islands are located 1,500 km southwest coast of Portugal. There is no archaeological evidence that confirms this opinion.

The most convincing as Atlantis was the island of Thera in the Aegean Sea, eastern Mediterranean. Thera island also known as Santorini is a volcanic island located in the northern island of Crete. About 1,500 BC, a massive eruption of the volcano buried the Minoan culture and drowned. Archaeological excavation results did show that the Minoan culture is a highly advanced culture in Europe in his day.

Professor Santos opinion that Atlantis is Sundaland or Indonesia has many disadvantages. First, do not terdeskripsi of Solon through Critias the story of Atlantis is a tropical region. Second, the geographical description of the continents around the myth that leads all to the Mediterranean. I do not know where the location designated as Professor Santos in his straits with the pillars of Hercules.

But he (through the writings of Professor Priyatna “PR” October 2, 2006), argues that in the past that Atlantis was a continent that stretches from southern India, Sri Lanka, Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, continue eastward to Indonesia (now) as its center. In the region there are dozens of active volcanoes and surrounded by the ocean that blend called Orientale, consisting of the Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean.

Third, Professor Santos directs Atlantis time frame on when the Pleistocene ice age. Last glacial period (Wurm) occurs at a maximum 18,000 years ago. At that time, the ice cover at the poles of the Earth extends to latitude 60 degrees, and sea water at the equator is receded sharply. Islands in Indonesia, an opinion saying that the tide is low to minus 140 m from the sea now. Thus, the waters of the Java Sea, Karimata Strait and South China Sea which has a depth of not more than 100 m, turn into the mainland. That’s what came to be known as Sundaland.

After 18,000 years ago, sea level began to rise in line with the inclusion of inter-ice age. A sea level rise continues up to about 5 m above sea level is now at approximately 5,000 years ago, before falling back to the present position. That is, the drowning of Sundaland will run very slowly (evolutionary), takes 13,000 years. Yet according to a story Critias, Atlantis sank in just one day and night!

Fourth, the culture of Indonesia in the Late Pleistocene, even to the early Holocene (11,000 years ago) is still the culture collection of forest products and hunting.Fittings are wood, bamboo and stone, with a very simple engineering. They lived in caves or river terrace with wooden shelters of twigs and leaves. There is no single opinion that classifies the Paleolithic cultures such as the culture that are considered advanced and high in the sense of worth when Plato wrote his book.

Once again, I have not read the book that Professor Santos. But the writings of Prof. exposure. Priyatna, with at least four arguments above, the notion of Indonesia (Sundaland) is difficult to be accepted Atlantis. Of course, although this paper denies Indonesia as Atlantis, we must remain very proud of Sundaland in Indonesia, because of the sciences of geology, archeology, geography, biogeography, linguistics and others, the importance of internationally recognized Sundaland. With scientific facts, like the opinion of Professor Priyatna Abdurrasyid, make us to be grateful and not inferior in the international arena, because Indonesia with Sundaland her, even if Atlantis would not be denied, is the intellectual property that remains recognized internationally.

The myth of sex will make you a layman can recognize sexual activity becomes more clear and understood about the various impacts and risks of sexual activity Here are some facts from the myths of sexual and probably never come you’ve never heard of.

Myth 1: It Can Pregnant If the sex whilst standing
In fact, the fastest and greatest swimmer in the world of medicine is the sperm. Sperm swim with a mission or purpose is to find and fertilize the egg lady. The myth that mentions the existence of gravity that makes it not work is wrong. Myth that the sperm will be difficult to reach the egg in the presence of gravity due to the standing sex is wrong. The nature of the sperm is able to swim in all directions, and they even swim with a very fast pace.

Myth 2: I Can Pregnant If the ejaculation in the Outer
If you include people who think that men who ejaculate outside the vagina was a woman, it means there will be no one who can touch the sperm or the egg? It is certain you are wrong.

In fact, the man many produce fluid that contains sperm, although in small quantities, this usually occurs at the time before ejaculation occurs. This fluid can exit at any time when men have sex, even though he was not aware it out. Although he later released his penis during ejaculation will happen, it could be before that little fluid has come out ahead and you do not know it.

Myth 3: Use a Vibrator Make Addiction
In fact, if you have a point of satisfaction using a vibrator sex toys, then the tool is not possible to replace the nature of your orgasm if done using the original penis from your partner. You do not need to worry because if you wait it will also achieve orgasm, although the vibrator will make it faster. In anticipation of the effects of the use of sex toys, you should keep it as far as the tool that you think may prevent you from addiction.

Myth 4: Bigger is Better
In the majority of women also have a desire in the shape and size of the penis. Long and large size can not automatically be said to provide sexual satisfaction highly addictive. In fact, just a lot of women who feel uncomfortable with the partner’s penis size is too big and long. Lots of things to do than think about penis size, because there are many ways to achieve pleasure and sensual way to achieve satisfaction in sex.

Myth 5: All Natural Female Orgasm Through Vagina Penetration
Apparently the number of women can achieve orgasm is actually only a 20 to 30 percent. This suggests that most women fake orgasms. It is worth noting for you guys to give more satisfaction in women and also how to make them reach orgasm.

Myth 6: The G-Spot Everything
G-spot can be interpreted as the lost city of Atlantis, the location or place that still exist. Thus, to date no definitive statement in which the location or area of the G-spot. Some sexuality experts say that the G-spot is located in the area of the ureter, which is two inches from the surface of the female vagina. G-spot itself is in the location of the triangle, just behind the bladder, this location is usually referred to as T-zone. Make sure your female partner was floated

This is to find any empirical facts that exist in the belly of the mountain pyramid.

Controversy findings of the pyramid-like buildings in a number of places in Indonesia will be presented in a workshop titled “Uncovering the Veil of Ancient Civilizations and catastrophic disasters in Indonesia to Strengthen Character and National Security”, in Building Krida Bhakti, the Secretariat of State, on 7 February 2012.

Workshop will bring together geologists and other scientific fields that have been researching Mount Sadahurip and Padang mount in West Java, as well as a number of other places in Indonesia.

As reported, to prove the allegations of the experts, a number of research has been conducted at Mount Sadahurip and Mount Padang, among others through georadar, geoelectric, photos and images IFSAR contour. Now, the next stage will be drilling deep in some places it rocks.

“Probably in March as the initial excavation, we will investigate rocks in it,” said one team member, Ir Iwan Sumule, Monday, January 30, 2012. Previously, says Iwan, drilling has been done, but in March will be carried into the deeper layers.

Special Staff of President Field of Disaster and Social Assistance Andi Arief said the workshop was aimed at describing the work of the Ancient Research Team during this catastrophe. “This is part of the agenda of the Ancient catastrophic Team, who had worked hard for this”.

The Pyramid Not yet concluded

Andi Arief said the team of researchers, mostly senior geologist from ITB, has not come to the conclusion at the Mount Gunung Padang Sadahurip and there is a “pyramid” is older than the pyramids of Egypt. “The conclusion can only be obtained after all the steps of scientific research carried out, including the drilling and excavation,” said Andi.

Workshop day after tomorrow, said Andi, will discuss all things related to allegations of a building “pyramid”. “Although the initial findings are strong enough leads to the matter of the pyramid, we still refer to the empirical facts. The road is only through drilling and excavation,” said Andi.

The information was correct at the same time the previous news that the team has come to the conclusion of the building resembles a pyramid in Sadahurip Mountain and Mount Padang ..

Previously said the two geologists have concluded on Mount Padang and there Sadahurip pyramid. “Dr. Andang Bachtiar and Dr. Danny Hilman not give the conclusion that the existing buildings in Mount Sadahurip is ‘pyramid’,” said Andi.

The truth, the team is currently researching the phenomenon of so many ancient disaster, including at Mount Padang and Mt Sadahurip. But so far in Sadahurip research continues, and still have not concluded whether or not a “pyramid” in there.

Research on early disaster in the number of locations it aims to complete the data-point statistics recycling disaster. The information was very helpful in the effort of scientific predictions of disaster, both the magnitude, location, and also the time he repeated.

“Besides aiming to learn the perception, how to act, and recordings of the past culture-related disaster mitigation, which is often dibahasakan as local wisdom,” said Andi.

It is said, the main focus of workshop tomorrow at Mount Sadahurip not alone, but also the preliminary results of research in other areas that are far more advanced than the research status Sadahurip. Among others in Banda Aceh, after the area was swept devastating earthquake and tsunami disaster in 2005. Then also the site at Trowulan, Batujaya, and Mount Padang.

“Certainly, in the end, workshop will discuss the progress of research on Mount Sadahurip as a complement,” said Andi added.

In addition to gatherings, Team catastrophic results will also be discussed at a meeting of international culture in Bali, 9 February, produced by the University of Indonesia.

It is said, scientists Oxford, UK, Prof. Dr. Stephen Oppenheimer, author of the bestselling book “Eden in the East” are also interested in the existence of a “pyramid” in Mount Sadahurip and Mount Padang, and will be present at the Bali meeting

UFO are flying saucers from outer space, so far we only know the UFO that crashed on land, such as America and Russia on land.

However, there was also a UFO that crashed in the sea floor. One of them was found by a seabed exploration team led by Peter Lindberg. The team is actually aimed at finding the ancient ships that sank in the sea floor, the team is using a very sophisticated sonar equipment.

In this mission, they actually found a mysterious object, which was not known previously. According to Lindberg, it was immersed in the bottom of the Gulf of Bothnia as deep as 90 meters. In addition to the plate-like object, Lindberg also found traces of the object movement, at the bottom of the bay.

Although Lindberg findings were not noted it as a UFO that crashed towing, and just say that the object was submerged ancient buildings, such as Stonehenge in England, or Bimini Road is a path of stones in the Caribbean sea, which in the trust as a residual-the remnants of Atlantis. But then, many newspapers and tabloids Sweden said that it was a UFO that crashed in the sea floor.

Due to limitations of equipment and funds, Lindberg does not continue to let the object of the expedition and its findings were still a mystery on the sea floor.

Whatever the findings of Lindberg objects, which clearly remains a long line list of the unsolved mysteries of the world.

The world's leading scholars recently gathered in Rome to discuss a controversial idea that Sardinia is the lost island of Atlantis. This theory was first mentioned in a book written by Italian journalist Sergio Frau named has attracted much attention from the international community, either praise or criticism.

The book, although it has been sold in 30,000 copies, academics still regarded as a sensation that is unscientific and unfounded. But this theory received a major boost last year when UNESCO organized a symposium on the issue in Paris, suggesting the idea was worth serious consideration. Then after that, Academics, archaeologists, geologists and historians from across Italy gathered in Rome’s Accademia dei Lincei to examine more deeply the theory and discuss the possibility of continued research in the future.

The island of Atlantis as is known is a mysterious island that has so far its existence is not known with certainty. The island was first mentioned by the Greek philosopher Plato in his Timaeus and Critias (360 BC) who said that an island with an advanced civilization destroyed by a disaster. Scientists suspect that the disaster in question is a tsunami.

Traditional theories that Atlantis is located in one place in the Atlantic region as Plato said the island was located opposite the Pillars of Hercules. According to another ancient Greek writer named Erathosthenes, Pillars of Hercules were situated in the Strait of Gibraltar.

But Frau believes that Erathosthenes, who is also a librarian and geographer who lived in Alexandria in the second century BC made a mistake. Frau believe the pillars of Hercules is located in Sicily. Frau got this conclusion after looking at two maps of ancient Mediterranean Bronze Age. A map showing Tunisia and Sicily almost touching, the other map showing the Strait of Gibraltar, and both show similarity.

Frau think that Erathosthenes moved the pillars because of 120 years between age and the era of Plato, the Greek world changed dramatically and the strait between Sicily and Africa was not part of the kingdom of Greece. Further, geological shifts and rising sea levels to widen the distance between Tunisia and Sicily which eventually became the cause of the error Erathosthenes.

If the Pillars of Hercules is located in Sicily, Sardinia is the exact location of Atlantis. Frau found also that the Nuragic civilization – derived from the word Nuraghes (stone towers) built on the island – flourished on Shardana (Sardinia) between 1400-1200 BC. Nuragic disaster that destroys culture and population is estimated to occur around 1178-1175 BC.

Although Plato’s Atlantis to about 9,000 years earlier, many historians think that Plato made a mistake and maybe he meant 900 years. They base their theory on the description of Plato’s writings and bronze to be found on the island.

Furthermore, where the pillars of Hercules were moved to the Straits of Sicily, Frau argues that many other ancient writings will be accurate in geographical terms.

For example, Herodotus writes of Corsica and the ancient city Tartessos as if the two cities are close to each other. But if the Pillars of Hercules were situated in Gibraltar, then travel from Tartessos to Corsica would take a month to ship, which may not correspond with the description of Herodotus.

The theories of the existence of Atlantis

Most of the proposed site of the existence of Atlantis is near the sea like the Mediterranean island of Sardinia, Crete, Santorini, Sicily, Cyprus and Malta. Whereas other suspected mainland as Atlantis is Troy, Tartessos, Tantalus, Turkey, Sinai and Canaan. In the region around the Black Sea is also suspected as the location of Atlantis, including the Bosphorus and Ancomah. In 2003, a new theory proposed that sea of Azov possibility is the home of Atlantis.

Other theories also call places like Andalusia, the Canary Islands, Cuba, Bahamas, Bermuda triangle, Indonesia, Malaysia, the island “Kumari Kandam” in India and the pyramid structure at Yonaguni Japan.

June 5 8498 BC supergiant meteorite with a mass of 2 million times the mass of his famous Tunguska “brother”, close to the Earth. With a speed of 15-20 kilometers per second, he proporol Earth’s atmosphere and exploded into the ocean thickness somewhere in the south-west Atlantic.

Wave caused by the explosion, got up at ten-high and with great speed has fallen to the nearby islands and the North American coast, sweeping away everything in the blind fury live in its path. The subsequent explosion tore the remnants of a meteorite caused the seabed and marked his shift. Depths of the sea completely engulfed many coastal cities, harbors, ships. Only the tops of high mountains forming the chain is now the Azores, were a sad reminder of past catastrophe.

Thus, according to West German physicist O. Flour, died legendary Atlantis, the first mention of which historians have found in the writings of the ancient Greek philosopher Plato.

So the exact date of death recorded in the study of Muck time reading the calendar of the ancient inhabitants of America – Mayan mythology which, in his opinion, reflect the religious beliefs of Atlantis.

The most important indirect evidence for this interesting hypothesis about the existence in the past, the mainland in the place to crash, according to the meal, is insoluble and is still a mystery of eels.

Many thousands of years ago, the path of the Gulf Stream, covering the east coast of North America, was blocked by a huge island – presumably Atlantis. He cast a large portion of the stream, forcing him to make cycling in the area of this Sargasso Sea, takes in while the water of the rivers of Atlantis. This cycle of salty water in the pool saturated with fresh water river, was the perfect place for the development of acne. After the destruction of Atlantis disappeared obstacle to free movement of the Gulf Stream to the north and stopped the water cycle in the Sargasso Sea.

But was drawn by many generations of acne instinct. Therefore, American eels spawn in the western and eastern Europe in the “green sea algae.” And babies “Europeans” and again try to the east to the sacred ground, the path to a disaster since long become longer for them for three years. “They do not realize – Muck wrote – that the water ring in the Sargasso Sea is closed. For them, home to the east did not die”. Each eel, says researcher – a mute witness to the existence of Atlantis.

By 1880 Donnelly was out of the office and out of his lock and fully dedicated his time towards his study and work which is now most famous, a book entitled Atlantis. Donnelly had studied Plato as a boy and the story of Atlantis had always intrigued him. With time in his hand he decided to read everything and anything he could to find out once and for all the truth about Atlantis. Donnelly had been galvanized in his quest to find the location of the sunken continent by an archaeological find that had grown old preconceived idea about the myth of the ancient world into chaos. 10 years earlier German businessman turned archaeologist Henrik Schliemann uncovered on the coast of Turkey the ruins of the city of Troy and many of the treasures from this mystical war between the Greeks and Trojans.

And within a day and the night all the people of Atlantis and the Athenians who fought the people of Atlantis disappeared from the earth. The only ones that were left on the fuel uncultured as the Egyptian stay Athenians were no longer remember the story of their triumph against the people of Atlantis.

In our old age the name Atlantis resonates still, the spiritual realm of a new age and a substitute religion, space shuttle voyaging like Columbus voyaging into new uncharted domains. This is a myth that reaches back in time to a lost golden age, the planters have hunted many pages of history like a restless spirit. A Maras taught in every age it had been a medieval paradise of infinite riches, the cradle of our most ancient civilizations, and undersea ruling that captivated the world and the mythical homeland were humanity’s highest aspiration and the most dangerous fantasies that perfection meet. The search for Atlantis goes on. Many of us just can’t resist the idea that somewhere in that booming deep Atlantis still excess, awaiting the day when some bold adventure or new technology finally brings its secrets to life. Until that day, if it ever comes, Atlantis will remain only in the depths of imagination, a measure of our humanity or lack of it, the mirror of the hopes and fears of every generation.
