Bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were unjustified.

Chaos. People screaming, running, trying to escape. Only to realize there was no escape just imagine how that felt, being trapped. One bomb, one hundred thousand people dead or injured. Two cities, two bombs, two hundred thousand people dead in a matter of seconds and more dead would come. The bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki should not have been used.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki weren’t huge military related cities. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were ports for trading and transporting, but it didn’t matter because the Allies had a naval blockade. Another thing was why would they need such big bombs, the U.S. were doing constant bomb runs in Tokyo. Was this something they wanted to prove to the Russians because of the two countries failing relations? (Freeman).

The Russians were slaughtering the Japanese on mainland because the Japanese had a style of guerilla warfare (Bernstien). The Russians killed 600,000 Manchurian troops the best branch of the Japanese army. The Russians did it in a week, which is more than the U.S. killed in the Pacific theatre and the Russians did it in a week! The Japanese already lost in the Pacific to the U.S. probably one of the hardest terrains to fight against a guerrilla typed military, but the U.S. won (Nardo). Why couldn’t they do that in the mainland? The U.S. had military power, better trained troops, and more help than the Japanese.

Some people state that the dropping of the bomb would stop the war, but that is not entirely true. Japan was already looking for help to the Russians to make a peace offering to the U.S. for them (Bernstien). The Japanese had no resources, their navy and air force were gone, and no way of getting those resources because they were naval blockaded by the allies. The Japanese already knew they lost the war. Even the U.S. soldiers knew the bombings were unjustified and not necessary (Nardo).

The atomic bombs weren’t necessary to defeat Japan. Japan was already running on a thin line and was on the brink of defeat. The atomic bomb didn’t really do anything besides wipe two cities of the face of the Earth. The war was going to stop in a matter of months. The bomb hurt the U.S. relations with Russia because the U.S. didn’t warn them and most importantly innocent people died for no reason. Just to stop a war and make a point. Two cities were gone in a matter of seconds and too many dead.

The military use all kinds of airplanes, from very small ones to teach people to fly to huge eight-engine jet bombers, such as the B-52. Many military airplanes are much like civilian airplanes in terms of their design.

However, the military do have a special type of airplane called the fighter, which is not used in regular aviation. Fighters can fly over 2,000 miles (3,220 kilometres) an hour and carry guns and rockets. Some can also carry atom bombs. It was bomber planes, which are another type of aircraft that are specific to the military, which were used to drop atom bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.

The United States Air Force Military Air Transport Service (MATS) operates aircraft that provide rescue, weather, photographic, and medical services for all U.S. armed forces throughout the world.

Comparing the bombing of hiroshima and Mo Tzu teachings.

On “August 6, 1945 up to 140,000” people died due to the bombing at Hiroshima, Japan (Oe 288). Many call this act a smart reasonable attack, but many call this act a horrible unfair attack. So many innocent lives were killed that day, and even more lives were changed for the rest of their lives. Considering both Oe, well known Japanese writer, and Mo Tzu, Chinese philosopher, they would agree this was an unrighteous act, but Oe has an exception of overcoming it will goodness.

How can one person tell when something they do is righteous or unrighteous? Consider this, do to others like you would like do unto yourself. Or as Mo Tzu describes an unrighteous act is by causing harm to others to give you gain (254). Wouldn’t everyone’s life be so much more enjoyable and happier if everyone went by those two simple rules? Suicide, crime, and divorce rates would all decrease in how common they are today. Along with that the economy, test scores, and charity would all have an increase in society.

Seeing what unrighteous acts are, is there any time when an unrighteous act becomes a righteous act? If you kill a man it’s unrighteous act, but what if you kill a man during time of war? After the bombing in Hiroshima no one was calling the attack a righteous choice, or even a well-deserved attack. Quite the opposite actually, the attack at Hiroshima “embodied the absolute evil of war” is what Oe wrote in The Unsurrendered People (289). This is one of the few times people have called an act of war unrighteous and called the act as it is, evil. Usually when these acts of killing happens during times of war people are applauded and called heroes (Tzu 254). Why does society denounce people for evil acts on a regular day, but when these exact acts are performed during war they become honored actions? Forget both the contexts of these actions and they are precisely the same. These are the exact words Tzu said, “And yet when it comes to the even greater unrighteousness of offensive warfare against other states, they do not know enough to condemn it. On the contrary, they praise it and call it righteous” (254). This just shows how people of the world are blinded between what is right and what is wrong. It’s like if a man tastes a small amount of bitterness he calls it bitter, but if the man tastes a lot of bitterness he calls it sweet (Tzu 254).

Although the bombing at Hiroshima was a horrible day it wasn’t all bad. In order to recover from this great evil, great good would have to counter-balance society (Oe 289). The bombing caused death, destruction, and misery but the first thing the people did were come together as one. They started rebuilding. They started caring about others and how they as one can help everyone recover from this evil act of war. Even though the city was completely destroyed they did not try to tell the U.S. how wrong their actions were (Oe 290). Evil occurred, but good overcame the evil.

Often people of the world get tangled in “the distinction between righteousness and unrighteousness” (Tzu 255). But in the end, when evil happens good will overcome it (Oe 289). Everyone must think about their actions and if they hurt other people, but not everyone can follow those simple rules. That’s when we need to do what’s right and overcome it instead of trying to get back at them. Without a doubt, Mo Tzu would love the golden rule.

A nuclear weapon is an explosive device that derives its destructive force from nuclear reactions, either fission or a combination of fission and fusion. Both reactions release vast quantities of energy from relatively small amounts of matter. The first fission ("atomic") bomb test released the same amount of energy as approximately 20,000 tons of TNT. The first thermonuclear ("hydrogen") bomb test released the same amount of energy as approximately 10,000,000 tons of TNT.

The ‘One word, “everything changed. When the atomic bomb was first used in World War II, bringing to an end, began a new. The power locked inside the atom was unleashed in the world in the form of a bomb atom. The Cold War began and she started a new and more deadly arms race over. It was announced the state of ‘Super Power “United States of America. For the first time, the human race had the power to annihilate, and indeed all life on the planet! The facts presented here atomic bomb, intended to shed light on the status of nuclear weapons and the history of its development. These events are a reminder bomb the triumph of human intellect and also his downfall.

Image via Wikipedia

Details of the atomic bomb: the creation

The atomic bomb was made possible by new discoveries in nuclear physics, which revealed the immense power encased in radioactive atoms. Here are the facts atomic bomb on the creation of the first atomic bomb and the advances in science and technology made it possible.

The atomic bomb is based on artificially induced phenomenon of nuclear fission. The atoms of radioactive elements like uranium or plutonium are bombarded with slow neutrons, which makes them unstable and split into lighter elements, releasing large amounts of energy in the process. Along with the release of energy, more neutrons are released in the process, which then cause fission of atoms, causing a chain reaction. The explosion of the atomic bomb is the activation of this type of reaction uncontrolled fission chain.

Nuclear power plants or nuclear reactors are based on the same principle as the atomic bomb. The only difference is that it uses a fission chain reaction controlled for peaceful purposes.

The process of nuclear fission was discovered by Otto Hahn and Fritz Strassmann in 1938. The first atomic bomb was created by the United States on a military project, dubbed “Manhattan Project” which involved thousands of scientists, engineers and technicians, working under the direction of Robert Oppenheimer at Los Alamos.

Allied forces, led by the U.S., initiated the project to develop the bomb, partly for fear that the Nazi government of Germany was developing one too. On July 16, 1945, the first successful test of an atomic bomb took place in the desert north of Alamogordo, New Mexico. The test was code named ‘Trinity’ and the bomb was a plutonium implosion device, releasing heat and energy equivalent to about 19 kilotons of TNT (trinitrotoluene) explosions!

The total estimated cost of the Manhattan Project was $ 20 million.

Details of the atomic bomb of World War II

Neither those who used the atomic bomb for the first time or those in which it has been used, you can never forget that moment in human history. He left a deep scar on the psyche of humanity. Here are the facts atomic bomb, which speak of its use in World War II, leading to it and what were the consequences.

In part, stung by the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, the U.S. dropped the atomic bomb, codenamed “Little Boy” on the Japanese city of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. After that, another atomic bomb, codenamed “Fat Man” was dropped on another Japanese city of Nagasaki on August 9, 1945. In the first four months after the two attacks, about 90,000 to 166,000 people died in Hiroshima, while about 60,000 to 80,000 people died in Nagasaki. Half of deaths in both cities came the same day, a few hours after the attacks. Needless to say, Japan surrendered unconditionally after a few days and the second world war came to an end.

What makes an attack with atomic bombs, although it is more deadly than leaves behind radioactive waste, which causes genetic mutations and cancer. Hundreds of people died in the coming years due to cancer and other diseases caused by exposure to radioactive waste in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Details of the atomic bomb: Current status of nuclear weapons
Since World War II, countries that possess nuclear weapons have increased in number. World is an even more dangerous now than it was in the war years. Within minutes, more than half the world’s population could disappear if a nuclear war is triggered! These facts atomic bomb are a status update of nuclear proliferation in the world.

Today eight nations recognize the possession of nuclear weapons. The nuclear club includes U.S., UK, Russia, France, People’s Republic of China, India, Pakistan and North Korea.

Today, a nuclear weapon even more lethal form of the hydrogen bomb was developed, which is thousands of times more deadly than an atomic bomb. Classified as a thermonuclear device, a hydrogen bomb uses both the reactions of fission and fusion to unleash hell when detonated. These thermonuclear weapons can cause damage equal to or greater than 50 million tons of TNT explosives!

With the development of intercontinental ballistic missiles, delivering the atomic bomb has become easier and more deadly! Many countries have the capability to launch nuclear warheads aimed at places thousands of miles away.

In 1966, during the Cold War, to 32,193 nuclear warheads and bombs were built and ready for deployment!

Since 1951, the total number of nuclear missiles developed by the U.S. is 67,500. In 1990, the U.S. had a stock pile of 70,000 nuclear warheads and bombs!

Today’s News of nuclear weapons shows that many more developing countries are in the process of acquiring the technology to build nuclear weapons. The ongoing international efforts to carry out large-scale voluntary disarmament.

German bombers were flying every night directly on our home in Cotswold County to head to the nearby Birmingham, and the return flight, randomly dropped bombs that still remained. On several occasions, the bombs fell near our house and, later, my mother told me about the many times I was worried for our safety.
In 1955, when my family came to America, the bombings were just a distant memory, but another war was in full swing: the Cold War, in which both superpowers were locked in the race to manufacture the weapon powerful. Were still present the horrors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuclear hysteria developed since then reached its most intense moments. In the schools conduct regular exercises to protect against air raids and families purchased their own bomb shelters, filling of canned food. The newspapers published news about possible Soviet attacks against U.S. cities.
For me, living in America was an exciting adventure. But it was frightening to think that Rifton, our new home was within the ninety miles radius of the experts considered to be convicted in the case of an atomic bomb fell on the city of New York.

My opinion of Japan.

Well, if anyone doesn’t know, Japan got hit with an earthquake and tsunami. recently they have been struggling with keeping one of their nuclear power plants stable, and i don’t think it’s going to stay stable for long.

Many people have been in a debate over if they should help Japan or not. I personally think that we people in the US should help Japan because they need it and hopefully if we ever are in need of help Japan and many others would help us. But many people have been saying remember Pearl Harbor. Now, i understand Pearl Harbor was a bad time for the US, but even though that Japan did attack Pearl Harbor we also dropped nukes on Nagasaki and Hiroshima in return to their attack, so I think saying remember Pearl Harbor isn’t a good excuse to not help Japan because we royally screwed two of their Islands afterwards. That’s my opinion, thanks for reading.

30 countries are reducing their nuclear experts to help Japan, the nuclear crisis could soon be finished.

Nuclear energy has been used by various countries around the world. The largest one is the United States. United States is the first country to develop nuclear energy. in the 1940s, the United States to develop nuclear energy for war purposes during World War II and was developed by physicist Robert Oppenheimer as head of the atomic bomb project.

United States tested the atom bomb at Trinity Site (New Mexico) on July 16, 1945. and after the testing united states finally decided to drop the uranium atom bomb on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. not only that of Nagasaki was destroyed after an atomic bomb plutonium sentenced on 9 August 1945.

The two bombs killed over 120,000 people in an instant. circumstances which looks like a helter skelter and uninhabited terrain created thereafter.

after years of the 1950s, nuclear energy is used for civilian purposes as generating electricity. Various countries that control the technology began to make use of nuclear energy on a large scale. This is because the efficiency of nuclear power plants (NPP) is quite high, especially with small mass (’fuel’) to generate big energy. And until recently, nuclear energy accounted for 16% of the total electric energy needs of the world which only spread across 30 countries.

if 30 countries are reducing their nuclear experts to help Japan, the nuclear crisis could soon be finished. no more fear of radiation effects. and Japan and around the country was again safe. let’s work together to help Japan. forget the political conflict and other conflicts as this. so that the incident in Nagasaki and Hiroshima not happen again.

Three strikes you're out?

Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the bombings: Clear evidence that nuclear energy was risky business.

Chernobyl: The lessons learned @ chernobyl should have been a wake up call to every nation on earth. Why nuclear energy was not banned outright then to me is a legitimate question.

Japan’s latest disaster is the last straw for me. I have long thought nuclear energy’s risks outweigh the benefits, we need to find alternative fuel sources.

In baseball, they say three strikes you’re out. Some states have laws where on a criminals 3rd offense they get life in prison. To me, nuclear energy has had it’s day in the sun, now it’s time to kick it off the field of options in regards to fuel.

Feel free to post your thoughts if you’d like, even if they differ from mine on this issue. You might change my mind, who knows.

Until next time, have a great day.

It all began on 16th July 1945., 56 miles southeast of Socorro, New Mexico. There the human race, for the first time in history, released a new kind of destructive power - nuclear.

The first nuclear explosion bore the code name “Trinity” and served as a test ground for the bombing of Japanese cities Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945. The two explosions killed more than 150,000 people and after Nagasaki the nations worlwide agreed never again to resort to atomic bombs as well as destructive force, but as a deterrent, because the demonstration of their power in Japan will never be forgotten.

However, for a nuclear explosion to occurr war is not needed because since 1945. – 1998., the world has recorded as much as 2053 nuclear explosions. This is testified by a video attached to the article, with the time chronology and maps. The last nuclear explosion occurred in May 1998., and was the result of Pakistan’s nuclear tests.

If we are not all insane from number of detonated nuclear experiments and failures in the nuclear power plants, the latter in Fukushimi will certainly not finish us nor the Japanese. Surviving was something unthinkable in 1945. but still they managed it so they will survive this crisis for sure.

Yes in the news by USA that Japanese did not learn anything from Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

This statement I find very funny and sad needless to say!

It seems to that our Journalists never look in mirror before they criticizing others if is personal, national or international. How come that our journalists/news media never said or criticise our politicians like McCain when he was running for Presidential Office among few others. McCain made statements that he would like to build 45 nuclear Reactors by year 2020. I guess our news media must believe that we are not subject making mistakes we are not subject to Mother Nature catastrophe. How narrow minder we really are, to me it is really scary but then that must be only me. Now it is also said that nuclear energy and life on Earth cannot coincide, yes perhaps that is very well put but how come you have not think about that before. May I make statement practically all and I mean all situations our Media and our Politicians are making ruckus or prepare to do some thing after the facts: in other words

They pull they pants down after they poop in them!

I believe that these is basic enough for most of us can understand

And not lawyer mumble jumbo that they love give to people!
