Papa, what do Soldiers do?

Little Girl: What do soldiers do?

Father: They protect us from bad people.

Little Girl: Do other countries have soldiers?

Father: Yes, my dear, and they save them from bad people.

Little Girl: Do bad people not live in this world?

Father: They live in all countries.

Little Girl: Why do bad people attack other countries and not their own?

Father: No, my dear, they also attack their own people besides attacking the people from other countries.

Little Girl: Why do they become bad? Are they born like that?

Father: No, they are not born bad, people make them bad by teaching bad things.

Little Girl: You said teachers are good people, then how can they teach bad things?

Father: Some teachers teach bad things.

Little Girl: If they know it is bad, then why do they teach that?

Father: They think it is good for them but it harms others.

Little Girl: There are so many things which we like but others don’t like them. It means we are also bad.

Father: We don’t force others to learn those things.

Little Girl: How do you know they force others to do those things?

Father: We read in papers, watch on TV, and people tell us.

Little Girl: But you have not experienced it yourself?

Father: No.

Little Girl: Sometimes, you teach me things which my friends don’t like. Have I become bad then?

Father: No, you are not bad. You are a good girl.

Little Girl: Who decides what is good and what is bad?

Father: We do all the good people in this world.

Little Girl: Who has given you the label of Good, the people like you?

Father: Yes.

Little Girl: I don’t like it. You should also ask the people who are not like you.

Father: You will understand everything when you grow up.

Little Girl: But you are raising me in uncertainties and how will I be able to change when I am big?

Father: Time will teach you, my little one.

Little Girl: You are hiding something, Papa.

Father to himself: Yes, I am hiding a lot from you because I lack the courage to tell you the truth that we have not learned to live in peace with each other. We have only been living with theories, assurances, and a hope that future will be better but I know it won’t. You will understand it after a few years why I am hiding things from you. We humans can’t live together, and it is our destiny. We keep on finding the points which could lead to disputes. I wish there were no soldiers in this world!

People, good or bad, will most likely do bad things when in a bad situation. Turn the negative attitude into a positive one and make others imitate you.

When asked this question, it is very easy to just say that people are generally imperfect and are inclined to bad thing intentionally and unintentionally? Some would justify their means by their cause. People are bound by laws and rules for a reason. Such laws are backed up moral views that are accepted by the society so why then do we still give in to temptation?

There are many facets to the personality of a person. As described by the Chinese Yin and Yang, it is a combination of good and bad. Everybody is born with a conscience but as to the matter of it being utilized will depend on the discretion of the person who owns it. There are many factors that may affect the capability of a person to follow his conscience. Some of these will depend on their upbringing, the company they keep and status in life.

A person who keeps guard of his actions even if not being watched is less susceptible to temptation as compared to the person who only behaves when he’s not alone. However, this will not ensure that good people will not do bad things. Sometimes, bad situations can turn a person to do something bad. People tend to think differently in different circumstances. Every day, we are under pressure and are bombarded by negative thoughts by the people we communicate with or the media. Some people who are oppressed will most likely think of retaliation. Is there a way to get rid of these negative emotions in order not to do something bad instead? Actually, there is.

Focusing on negative thoughts will only amplify your feelings towards it. Same is true with positive thoughts. Try to exercise on focusing on the good things. List down at least five things to be thankful for and reinforce that feeling by doing someone else a favor. A happy mood is contagious so maintain a good atmosphere.

What will you say when you have to choose between a good person and bad person? Sometimes the truth is not what it appears to be.

According to you, who is more dangerous: good people or bad people?

Whatever you say, chance is that you are not perfectly right.

This is because of the fact that both are equally dangerous. Since, bad people are bad so they will harm you without any mercy. But, I feel that in today’s scenario, even good people can be dangerous and sometimes more than the bad people.

Reason

Since bad people have never been good so they don’t know the mental trauma which a good person has to undergo when they are tortured by bad people. But when good people turns bad then in such case they have complete idea of what it feels when you are tortured. So, they are crueler as they know the threshold of pains and sufferings. This cause them to cross the threshold limits more often.

Also, since they were forced to become bad due to world’s harshness so they loose all mercy whatever they had possessed and become mentally sick and only believe in taking revenge from world. In this process they loss interest in world and live solely to take revenge. This makes them fearless and are no more afraid of death.

Now, only way to prevent such problems is to protect good people rather then corrupting them. So, now I think that you have got the sufficient idea about this topic.
