How to do so.

If you have a child who has just chosen to stay on at school to do their A Levels, then you must be quite proud that they have taken that choice. However, you might now also be thinking about how you can support them when they’re practically adults, but still not experienced enough to make their own decisions all of the time. This article will help you to work out how you can strike the balance without seeming too overpowering.

The first thing that you should talk about is how they’re going to organise themselves. Coursework and assignments are very much self led in sixth form, and this means that they are going to have to take the time to consider how they’re going to fit all of their work in without falling behind. You should provide a place for them to work that is away from any distractions, and make sure that they understand just how much they have to work. Most colleges recommend 5 hours per subject per week, which makes around 20 hours of extra study. 4 hours each day, keeping the weekends free for personal activities, usually works the best. If your child has free periods during college, then you have to trust that they’re using these for work if they tell you that this is the case. Sometimes, you can have two or three free periods, meaning that a lot of the work really can be done in college. The only way that sixth formers learn is by their mistakes, and they will realise that they need to put more work into their studies when they come to their first set of exams.

The next thing that you have to do is talk to them about what they would like to do when they finish their A Levels. Although it might seem strange to be talking about this now, they need to be thinking about their future, as the next couple of years will fly by for them. You should find them lots of University prospectuses, and take them on open days if they would like to go, and then you can feel as though you’re being involved in their decision. The more you are involved, the more they are likely to tell you about what they’re deciding, and that will be great for your relationship in the long term.

Although you might not think that there is much you can do to control the behaviour of your yougn adult, you should still try to encourage them not to spend too much time at parties and then not enough time studying. There is plenty of time for that at University, when it is at least legal to drink, so it is important that they get their head down and study hard so that they will be able to get into the course of their choice at the end of their A Levels. Although it is a tricky process, if you work together as a family, you should find that you are all a lot stronger for it.

Regulatory Law For Check And Balance.

There are different types of regulatory laws formed by federal governments of states. Administrative agency and defense and litigation law are amongst the most discussed ones. There are some really important elements and parts that are covered by administrative agency law. This law is designed in such comprehensive and efficient way that it gives a lot of value and consideration to agency hearing and to adjudications as well. If there is any dispute between two or more parties, then the attorneys of this law carefully preside over the case and make sure that the dispute is resolved amicably and of course lawfully. This regulatory lawprovides justice to all those parties, which are innocent and at no fault. Litigants get the ultimate advantage, as administrative tribunal proceedings focus and pay attention to cost efficiency as well as on fast delivery of justice. Employment litigation and defense lawyers are well trained and experienced enough to handle all those issues that are related and connected with employment.

Defense and litigation lawyers are considered to be a big help for all those, who are just about to start up a business or are already running a business. For the issues that arise in business market both in public and private sector, there are different types of lawyers, which could handle specific cases properly. Businesses of private and public nature should understand the value and significance of having a permanent lawyer. Any business’s future is very uncertain. In order to tackle prospective disputes in well managed way, the services of a lawyer can play a major role.

In case you are a member of some federal agency of your state and you believe that your basic rights related to your work are being breached, then you have someone, who could help you protect your rights. You must not suffer but should hire an administrative agency lawyer. He is going to present your case and will take your voice to the court. The success of such cases totally depends on the way, a lawyer fights the case. if he has grip on it, then there is nobody who can challenge him.

Only a certified and well known agency can have those lawyers, which can provide and render broad range of services that are related to different types of laws. The main duty and job of litigation lawyers is to present the cases of their business clients before federal and state trial courts.

Have you ever felt there's never enough time to focus on what's important to you? Yes there is and expert Author, Speaker and International Business Consultant Allan Baylis will show you how to stay in balance.

There is a good chance that you are a baby boomer. You know the largest group of people ever born after WWII between 1946 -1964. In the event you are a baby boomer it sure is strange to be one. We boomers are all time warped. We still hear the same songs on the radio we listened to forty years ago. Marketers are always trying to appeal to us with retro cars and music. All the while Baby Boomers are getting older, moving along a lifeline like a mouse being digested in a snake’s belly.

As each year passes time moves more quickly. One day you look up and there’s more distance behind your cart than in front of it. Parents pass away and you lose that sense of immortality you once had. As a result many of your priorities begin to change. As these priorities change you seek more balance in your life.

Boomers grew up in a low tech environment that with exponential growth has become a fast paced, high tech environment. Those of you who are younger have lived in a high tech, fast paced environment all of your lives without the point of comparison most boomers have experienced. As a result, whether you are a boomer or not, balance is a significant issue in today’s world.

Staying in balance is an important part of growing and maintaining a positive attitude. Much like the wings on an airplane if you go too far out of balance you’ll usually crash. Balance is a challenge for all of us. It is easy to fall into an activity trap and get out of balance.

Balance is having time for the people and things that really count in your life. It requires taking time to step back and reflect on things from time to time. You want to set new goals and visualize them as necessary. In doing this, you become more fulfilled, well rounded and better able to respond positively to situations.

The best way to achieve balance is to set goals for those areas of your life that are most important to you. Writing goals will help you prioritize. When you set SMART goals you are making an important statement of what is really important to you. In addition goal setting helps you maintain your focus. There are many areas to which you can apply goals to achieve greater balance. What is important is to write goals that are important to you. This is how to stay in balance.

Business or financial goals are important and necessary for most people. Contrary to popular opinion most people are not motivated by money. Most people don’t take their cheque or commissions, cash them into dollar bills, take off their clothes and roll around in the money all weekend. However, you often need money to fulfill your other goals.

I think of having money as being able to buy tickets to go on rides. You choose your ride. Your ride could be security, a vacation, education, or joining a gym. There are many rides to choose. The reality is all these things require money so setting financial goals is important for most people. When you write SMART goals you will dramatically increase your odds of achieving or exceeding them. Then you can buy more tickets and go on more rides.

Physical goals are important. Although good health doesn’t guarantee happiness it certainly helps. I remember as a youngster playing every sport possible, taking long bike rides down to the river and sneaking onto a tennis court at midnight. Things tend to change and as you age. An increased awareness of the fragility of life takes over. You look back wishing you had exercised more and had eaten the right foods.

It’s never too late to start but it will take SMART written goals to get you there. You are the magic bullet. Willpower is not enough as it is short term and elastic in nature. You know how that works. You avoid a certain food and then one day in a moment of weakness you eat it. Then once you’ve eaten guilt kicks in and you inhale them to catch up. Remember the power of your sub-conscious mind. Change is an inside job. You need to do some programming to change your internal picture. Your internal picture has been with you a long time. You’ll want to work daily to change it. I’ll get into balance in more detail in Part 2 of this article. I’ll see you then.

Allan Baylis is world class Speaker, author of The Magic Bullet and an international business consultant. Allan helps others focus on business and personal Growth.
Many people in this country are unemployed, have lost or are losing their homes, have lost the substance of not only their dreams but their lives.

Transition: the Loss of Life as We’ve Known It

“Mother Nature plants in Autumn, harvests in Spring”

These words came to me as I contemplated about writing this blog: a reminder that we humans are not necessarily in sync with the way of the Universe. After several false starts (and misplacing the disk with my original blog), I was pondering whether to just skip writing this blog altogether. After all, I am in a mode of transition myself and there are so many things to do and as busy and hectic a schedule as ever that it is damn hard to focus on anything for a proper length of time. Throw the changing climate and tracking what’s going on with the >Occupy Everywhere< movement into the mix, and it’s a wonder I can accomplish anything …

What is going on in our country has me captivated. I’m obsessed – I want to know what’s going on practically every waking moment. After being given a week off for the Thanksgiving holiday, one of my closest friends went back to work on Monday only to be told she would probably be layed off at the end of the week. No doubt we can expect to hear of more layoffs during the coming month because it has become a tradition in this country companies to shed employees in the midst of the self-acclaimed Christian season of the giving.

My heart goes out to all the people in this country who are unemployed because the ultra-wealthy “job creators” can make greater profits with the cheaper labor in emerging countries such as India and China; my heart goes out to those who have lost or are losing their homes because of the greedy banksters need to charge outrageous fees and interests when they themselves are getting money than ever in our history; my heart goes out to those who have lost the substance of not only their dreams but their lives. My thoughts and prayers are with them. I feel their pain and despair. And while my family has become part of these statistics this year, I am thankful that we have not (at least, not yet) experienced an ultimate level of loss and devastation – we are not homeless, and we still have some resources to tap into -but I also feel shame for the selfish times I have cried and wailed in despair over the “loss” of our life as we had known it. Wow … The loss of our life as we’ve known it … Double WOW …

The loss of our life as we’ve known it is the completion of a cycle and initiates the transition to a new level in our lives that we may not understand and which is difficult to process. Many of us go through transitions “shellshocked”, feeling out of sync, and/or struggling for a semblance of control. Occasionally, we make a choice willingly to create the end of a cycle; more oftentimes, the Universe gives us a gentle shove that pushes us through the threshold of the door upon which we have been camping for some length of time. And then there are the times when it seems the Universe just steps in, takes over and life as we’ve known it no longer exists …

We feel helpless – and sometimes are helpless – and cast aside as no longer important in the greater scheme of those in control. But most of us are not completely helpless and we are important to ourselves and to many others. Even while the odds against us seem insurmountable, we can draw on our inner strength and tap into a higher consciousness to help us take responsibility for the balance in our lives. I told my friend that perhaps being layed off maybe wasn’t as bad a thing as it first appears; after all, a stagnation had set in on the job and a restlessness would crop up on occasion that was quickly put down instead of addressed. Perhaps a blessing in disguise and now will be a time to explore options and opportunities and ideas that had been shelved because responsibilities could not be balanced in the previous life’s circumstances?

In numerology, 11 is the number of balance and responsibility. Every action we take is an action of balance and responsibility that either is beneficial or is detrimental to the best interests of not only ourselves but others – yes, to others because each and every one of us is an integral part of the whole and yet we always have the option to be separate.

It is not an easy task to meet the responsibilities we take on and still maintain a balance. The spiritual meaning of 11 deals directly with our involvement of how life progresses and references both our ability to be objective and subjected to life. Our life as we’d known it has been badly shaken over the last 11 years. We — as individuals, as a community, as a nation – have experienced the loss of life as we had known it because individuals took actions that were beneficial for themselves individually but were detrimental for us the whole. We have received a glimpse of the reality of how fragile the stability — the balance — of our lives is: things we selfishly take for granted, such as clean and drinkable water and the security associated with where we live, can disappear in a heartbeat. Yes! The unthinkable can happen — is happening! — to US.

The past three years has given us a glimpse of the good and the bad, and the very ugly. We’ve witnessed firsthand those who don’t give a damn about people who don’t have a job and people who have lost their homes; if you are not in the top 1% of wealth, you have been villianized, demonized, and demoralized. Companies making hundreds of millions of dollars refuse to recognize the value of their employees and refuse to give them even a small wage increase; instead insisting that the employees have their wages frozen or even taking a pay cut. Oh, yeah, we are witnessing firsthand the greediness and callousness of those who refuse to take responsibility for their role in the loss of life as we have known it.

Unlike what’s happening with Kim Kardashian or Dr. Conrad Murray, the devastation and tragedy that so many Americans have suffered is generally not considered “front page” or headline news — and the survivors, the heroes, the dead are only a footnote in our collective (media) consciousness. But the loss of life as we’ve known it is an underlying current pulsating steadily through each day, stated eloquently by Scott, Iraq veteran injured at Occupy Oakland. How will we — as individuals, as a community, as a nation — restore balance responsibly? Will we proceed responsibly in the aftermath of the devastation that is besieging our country and manifesting in record homelessness and poverty, in a crumbling national infrastructure and a rapid move towards being a third-world country? Or will we recklessly and zealously make blind choices based on someone striking an emotional chord – so determined to grab onto something that promises to resurrect our life lost without regard to balance and the ultimate cost to ourself or others? How will YOU personally handle this emotional period of transition the nation as a whole is experiencing, with so much lost and so much still at stake?

Transition follows a physical change — the loss of life as we’ve known it — in which a seed of awareness is sown. But like any seed, this seed of awareness needs to be nurtured in order to grow into something that will sustain us. I give thanks for the seed of awareness that has been sown by the Occupy movement. While we cannot control irresponsible actions by others, we can control our preparedness for and our response to whatever may be bestowed upon us during this time in our lives. Will we — as individuals, as a community, as a nation — proactively nurture this seed of awareness to grow, to change what has become the status quo? Will we prepare to respond responsibly to restore balance in our lives? Will we prepare to not only rebuild but to take the time to stabilize – balance – our foundation and rebuild responsibly with careful thought and defined purpose?

The unconscious mind that produces your dreams protects you from your anti-conscience’s attacks and helps you develop your intelligence. Your anti-conscience is your primitive conscience, which is still active inside you. It generates mental illnesses within your human conscience because it doesn’t want to be your slave.

You are the human being concentrated into your tiny human conscience, while your anti-conscience occupies the biggest part of your brain. You, the human being, must tame the monster that occupies the biggest part of your brain.

You control your behavior when your human conscience is alive. However, when your anti-conscience manages to completely destroy your human conscience, your evil and wild side controls your behavior. Your human side becomes a passive observer that cannot act, while your anti-conscience spreads terror and despair around you.

When you are controlled by your anti-conscience you become a schizophrenic murderer, or a revolted victim of many monsters that take advantage of you. You have to prevent this tragic end eliminate your dangerous anti-conscience before losing your human conscience. You may suffer from a mental illness that won’t be as severe as the worst stages of schizophrenia. However, even a simple depression will be enough to ruin your life.

You believe that you are a normal person and you are far from danger only because you ignore how dangerous your position is. I’m giving precious information that saves your sanity. You must get rid of your dangerous wild side through dream translation before it’s too late.

Dream interpretation and analysis must belong to your daily tasks. The meaning of your dreams is extremely important.

All dream images contain important messages that give you precious information, which helps you eliminate your anti-conscience and evolve. Your evolution transforms your anti-conscience into conscious content. This is how you are able to save your sanity and find sound mental health forever.

You cannot understand the dream language like your anti-conscience, but you can study the meaning of dreams and learn how to follow the secret unconscious psychotherapy in your dreams.

Your anti-conscience is a part of yourself, but you are not aware of this part of your personality. This is the big mystery behind all mental illnesses.

Your anti-conscience provokes mental disorders within your conscience because it wants to destroy the human side of your personality and control your behavior instead of being tamed by your sensibility and sensitivity. It influences your behavior even when it doesn’t manage to generate a mental illness. This is a danger that you cannot ignore.

Even if you are a ‘normal person’ according to the standards of our current civilization; your anti-conscience controls your behavior many times. Your anti-conscience frequently invades the human side of your conscience, taking the place of your ego in numerous life situations.

For example, whenever you show anger, you are controlled by your anti-conscience. Anger is a wild and absurd animal reaction. You must be an always calm and sensitive person if you want to be balanced.

You are very far from balance. You make many mistakes; you are too selfish, absurd, and insensitive. You cannot understand how abnormal your behavior is because you are ignorant, and you follow the mindset of your historical time.

You believe that you are a logical person, but the bitter truth is that the logic you follow is based on absurd criteria, suppositions, and theories. Even the scientific discoveries of your historical time are distorted by the scientists who made these discoveries.

They are ignorant. The way they interpret their discoveries lead them to erroneous conclusions. Today’s scientists unavoidably think based on the limited knowledge of our historical time. They cannot understand the real meaning of their discoveries, or relate them to many truths that they didn’t discover yet.

On the other hand, the scientific truths discovered by the scientists of our historical time are not as revealing as you may imagine. The knowledge we have today is as incomplete and imperfect as the knowledge of the individuals who lived in the Middle Ages.

Human beings are basically wild primates. Everything that humanity thinks today is absurd. There is no real knowledge on Earth. There are only many false logical systems governing the global mindset. This is why our world is ruled by violence.

In a few years, the children of your children will understand how ridiculous the modern civilization is. However, this is something that you cannot understand today.

You believe that your historical time is advanced. You think that you know many things. You have no idea of the depth of your ignorance, the same way that you completely ignore the content of the wild side of your brain. You need guidance.

The scientific method of dream interpretation cures your psychological wounds, eliminating your wild side through knowledge and sensitivity. This method helps you predict the future and prevent what is bad. This method also helps you improve your relationships and discover new alternatives in all fields of your life.

Christina Sponias continued Carl Jung’s research into the human psyche, discovering the cure for all mental illnesses, and simplifying the scientific method of dream interpretation that teaches you how to accurately translate the meaning of your dreams, so that you can find health, wisdom and happiness.

Even if you believe that you are a normal person and you feel that you are sensible and sensitive, this is not true. The biggest part of your brain belongs to your evil anti-conscience. Only because you have inherited this content in your brain, this means that you are already crazy from birth.

Carl Jung discovered that our dreams are produced by the wise unconscious mind, which possesses undoubtable wisdom. However, he was afraid to completely trust the unconscious mind because he couldn’t see the entire content of the human psyche.

Jung knew that there was craziness in the human brain, but he didn’t know where it could be. Therefore, he didn’t completely agree on obeying the unconscious mind. He concluded that the unconscious mind is a good counselor. However, he believed that we should make our decisions based on what our own conscience decides.

I discovered the anti-conscience, the wild side of our conscience, which has satanic characteristics and is totally absurd. The anti-conscience occupies the biggest part of our brain. This means that we are basically wild primates. We must develop our intelligence and our sensitivity in order to be balanced.

I discovered that the unconscious mind has a saintly nature and I accepted to precisely obey the unconscious guidance, without doing what my ignorant, absurd, and evil conscience desired. This is why I was cured from my dangerous neurosis. This is why I was able to continue Carl Jung’s research and cure numerous people through dream therapy since 1990. Only thanks to my obedience to the unconscious wisdom, could I surpass my teacher, and discover a lot more.

Carl Jung’s method of dream interpretation gives us a solution we didn’t expect to find. He managed to discover how we can understand the wise guidance of the divine unconscious mind that works like a doctor and teacher. The unconscious mind is our savior.

All dream images contain messages with information and lessons that protect your tiny human conscience from the attacks of our satanic anti-conscience. The anti-conscience is a demon. Since it occupies the biggest part of our brain, this means that we are merely monsters who possess a tiny human conscience; which is absurd and must be developed because it is one-sided.

The terrorism, the violence, the poverty, and all the other horrors that characterize our world prove that we are totally insane.

The cruel indifference to the misery of the poor by those who have a comfortable life proves that we are not really human. We are merely demons who possess a tiny and deficient human conscience. This is why our world is a living hell and so many mental disorders torture the human race.

The divine unconscious mind helps us eliminate our evil anti-conscience and cultivate real goodness in our hearts.

Only goodness can save us from suffering, but we are constantly induced to choose what is bad. We live in a world ruled by immorality, violence, and greed. Money is most people’s god because those who have money decide our destiny.

Our planet is gradually being destroyed by wars and pollutions, and by our absurd indifference to what is bad.

We need psychotherapy.

Only if we obey the precious unconscious guidance in our dreams (and the religious teachings from all religions) can we be cured from our absurdity and completely develop our intelligence. We must also develop our sensitivity. Otherwise, we will never be balanced.

My work opens your eyes showing you the truth as it is. If you want to find balance and live happily, you must transform your personality. This is indispensable. You have no choice.

Even if you believe that you are a normal person and you feel that you are sensible and sensitive, this is not true. The biggest part of your brain belongs to your evil anti-conscience. Only because you have inherited this content in your brain, this means that you are already crazy from birth.

The minimum logical balance you have acquired thanks to divine providence is not enough to protect you from the craziness you have inherited. You have received a human conscience because you must obey the unconscious guidance in your dreams in order to completely develop your intelligence through consciousness.

You have to also develop your sensitivity and find peace. You have to discover your spiritual reality behind the material one. Only wisdom, love, generosity, sincerity, and compassion can help you find sound mental health and happiness in life.

Therefore, stop believing that evilness is something ‘smart’. Stop being indifferent to your own absurdity and to the absurdity of the world.

Stop following the crazy mindset of your civilization. The knowledge of the absurd world cannot help you find balance. Your idiotic conscience cannot help you find peace. You need superior help.

Follow the wise guidance of your unconscious doctor, and learn how to be wise. Learn how to always be calm. Learn how to always be self-confident.

Your psychotherapy is very important, not only for you.

We need your contribution.

What can you do in order to save humanity from suffering?

We need your creativity. We need your extraordinary personality.

A helpful article about how to balance the stress of working to maintain life and enjoying the rewards of it.

Living life is more than just waking up and doing whatever we want. Oh, how we all wish! There is a long list of things to accomplish to make your life fulfilling, yet progressively improving. Bills, bills, and more bills, are the biggest burden we all have. To enjoy our lives or to provide for our families, we want to obtain the best services and products for our loved ones.

It’s safe to assume that the majority of us do many six-figure salaries and have troubles dealing with all the expenses that a happy life entails. Aside from the costs of raising children, simple necessities like mobile phones, computers, lights, televisions, and other common household must-haves. The anxieties of accumulating debt and increasingly competitive world, will lead most of us to kick into the “go-getter” state of mind. We need to go out and get it while there’s still stuff to be gotten.

All work and no play transform you into a mindless robot. You are now working simply to maintain what you have signed up for and additions, such as children, are impeding to your attempts to play catch up. Many eventually make the choice to have children sometime in their life so this adds to the stresses of making more money to cover it all.

There is no debate that work must be done for rewards to be reaped. But your life can literally be shortened by constant laborious work. This “work” may be done on a daily basis at your place of employment, but is also present in your mind as you worry from paycheck to paycheck. If you wish to lead not just a happy life, but a long healthy one, adjustments must be made.

We certainly do not expect to make drastic changes in all areas of our lives since we know this is not a feasible option. But even the smallest differences will benefit you significantly if you do it daily. Keep in mind that while you have endless things on your daily agenda, one of those things is resting and gathering your thoughts.

Devoting all your focus on work and maintenance tasks will leave you drained at the end of each day. Eventually, your mind will kick into safe mode and burn out altogether. Take deep breaths for a few minutes to concentrate your much needed attention, on the actual goals at hand. Ultimately, you want to be in good spirits to fully enjoy the everyday things you work so hard for. You are of no use to anyone, including yourself and your family, if you run yourself to the ground.

There are several books of how-to, self motivational help, and so on, but we are motivated most when we have gone through tough times successfully and can share our experience with others. Your experience, or whatever you are trying to find a balance with, is tailor made just for you but listening to someone else can help give you a push or even a shortcut to help you get closer to your goal.

At this moment in my life I am learning more than I ever have, I have grown more than I ever have, and I am continuing to learn. One thing that I am working on is balance. No, not a checkbook or weights but life. I work 40+ hours a week, attend an online university and have to small children, not to mention the other cares of this life and slowly but surely, the wheels are starting to balance. Just like the wheels of a car, if the weight of one tire is not in line with the others, there may be a wobble or a shake (unstability) that is felt when the car is in motion. Right now, your life is in motion. Your life (car) may have more than 4 wheels but you have to learn how to keep them balanced and not have one outweighing the others. Here are a few things that I have learned that is slowly steering me into the right direction.

1. Learn to prioritize. One of the most important things is prioritization. If you focus one something that is less important, then the thing that is important goes lacking, thus causing undue stress later as you either race against the clock or fight against obstacles that could have been prevented.

2. Time management is key. Even after you prioritize, you still have to make sure that tasks are done in a timely fashion. This not only applies to school or work but life events as well. A calendar is more than a wall decoration. It should be used to plan events or tasks and alarms you the closer you get to the event. For example, if you know bill X is due on the 18th and your paycheck comes on the first of the month, why not pay the bill in advance instead of waiting until the 17th or 18th to pay, when chances are you could have possibly spent some of the funds, or loose a debit card if it is not auto-pay, or anything out the norm happens. Planning and using your time wisely pays off. If you only have an hour to complete your tasks, choose tasks that take less time so that you may complete more tasks correctly than to rush on a longer task which ends up in poor quality. This applies especially to work and school. This may even apply to house work.

3. Plan, plan, plan. Plan for the worst and plan in advance. Just as you would think to plan for a wedding, plan for events or assignments that may come. If you have a syllabus for class, look at the assignments in advance so that if you have any questions or need clarification, you may do so in advance. Even with family matters, if you know your children are starting school soon or have something coming up for school, set aside time and resources just for that occasion so that you will be prepared and should any unexpected surprises pop up, you will at least have the basics.

4. Do not stress, just pray. Honestly, this should have been the first one. Not to offend, but who is better to talk to than the one who created you in his image. He is our manufacturer. He knows how we think and function and can help guide us through times where we thought we could not handle it. Kids seem to add a little onto the equation when it comes to matters because you not have yourself to provide for but you have innocent lives who depend on you, so this is truly a time where you would need to seek the right direction.

I hope that this was inspirational to anyone who read this. I speak solely from personal experience and believe that we all could learn from another’s mistakes. If you take heed to the four simple steps and apply it to your life, then the wheels to your car will soon be balanced and in line.

Earth vs. Man

(Slow Down and Observe)

By

JBCreative

If you stop to think of the earth in its pure form before man and his structuring of it, you will see that everything we need to live is provided by the earth, not man.

The water, air, wind, food, minerals, already here, to be used as needed. We are provided for.

All the things that are man made are made from the raw materials present on earth. They are all free to use and if give and take is present, balance between humanity and its host is maintained, there is plenty for all, at no charge.

We have lost sight of the simplicity of it all. We are now so removed from our host that we have convinced ourselves that man created it all and we have control over it all. We have convinced ourselves that we don’t need the earth and treat the earth with disrespect, after everything it has provided for us.

Then an earthquake hits, a tsunami tears through and wipes it all out. We don’t wake up and listen to nature, we just say, “what an inconvenience” and rebuild and continue doing the same things over and over. We are superior and we’ll do whatever we damn well please!

Nature doesn’t care either and will do whatever it damn well pleases. The earth will flourish again and continue on. Go ahead ya’ll and eat your last supper: Twinkies and a coke- Burp…you’re gone.

Man is very industrious and clever. It’s like a “Survivor Series”. You are put in the middle of nature. Here ya go. All the materials are there to make it.

Take a moment to look around your house and identify what each thing is made of. You’ll realize everything started with raw materials from the earth. Our ingenuity and creativity molded it into something to make our lives easier and fuller.

When you look at how much stuff is in just one household, how could one ever think there is a scarcity? The world is extremely abundant. Society is the one who teaches scarcity not mother earth. We’ve got more than we’ll ever need. So why is society scarring the masses into believing there isn’t enough for everyone?

The answer again is simple, to control the masses. If everybody realized there is no scarcity and we have the potential to be on even footing, how would we be able to feed fear, greed and avarice?

Perhaps if we use this perspective to examine our lives, it will help us declutter our lives. Hoarding is a psychological behavior to overcome. The ego drives us to hoard, to prove our importance of presence and to calm our insecurities. Big businesses depend on our insecurities. Public Storage warehouses are sold to us so we don’t have to part with our stuff; we can store the stuff we aren’t using, just in case.

We have become so out of tune with the earth and our bodies, we don’t even know how to function without all our conveniences.

We need a doctor to tell us, “You’re too fat, lose weight.” Then we need someone to tell us what to eat. Then we need pills to regulate our bodies because we don’t take instructions well. We don’t know anything about our bodies or nature. It’s all a mystery. Put down the coke and the Twinkie and listen to your body and what it is telling you. Take corrective action. Don’t lean. Take Action. You are the one who has to take responsibility for yourself and turn it around. It is you that has to do the work. No one is going to do it for you and there is no pill that will do it for you. The bodies healing powers are amazing, if you would just give it a chance. It’s the same with the healing powers of the earth. Once you stop messing with it and get in balance, the earth heals itself too. We are all finely tuned machines. Put in the good stuff and we’ll keep on purring.

What would happen to your car if you put chocolate syrup in your tank instead of motor oil? Just saying’……..

Perhaps it is time to rediscover our Native American Wisdom. We tried to stomp it out, but it is immortal, because these are the laws of the universe.

“What is man without the beasts? If all the beasts were gone, men would die from great loneliness of spirit, for whatever happens to the beasts also happens to man. All things are connected. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the children of the earth.”

An article advising modern parents on the benefits of allowing our children to use their own imaginations and to limit structured after-school.

We have all heard stories of school children burning out from too many after-school activities, so how much is too much?

We all want what is best for our children: healthy lifestyle, self-confidence, strong friendships, achieving goals. After-school activities offer the opportunity for our kids to enjoy many of these benefits. However, often we hear stories or know someone who pushes their children into one or more activities every afternoon of the week. Maybe we are even guilty of it ourselves, thinking our children will miss out if they’re not involved.

Heard of the kids who take violin, piano, bassoon, drama, swimming, ballet, maths tutoring, football, gymnastics, French lessons, art classes and judo all by Wednesday night? Exhausted just reading it? Imagine how the kids feel! Not to mention the parents or grandparents taxiing them to each venue everyday.

Research shows and child psychologists agree that all children need time to get bored. That doesn’t necessarily mean zoning out in front of a screen all day. It means kids need to make their own fun. The benefits of boredom are undervalued by modern parents who feel the pressure to give their children the best of everything.

Remember when you were a kid? Think about the fun you had making cubby houses in the living room, playing dolls all day, collecting treasure form the garden to sell to the neighbours, the lego towns built and destroyed many times over.

This is how children thrive, develop their imagination and become self-sufficient.

Finding a balance right for your family is the key. For children aged 4-10, try to limit the structured activities to 1-2 per week while older children and teenagers will manage 2-4 after-school programs. Unstructured time under the supervision of a loving adult will teach our children far more than 15 activities per week and most of all will fuel their imaginations and keep them settled and calm.
