The Italian Liner that hit a rock and capsized recently was cruising in the Mediterranean at the time. But Captain Francesco Schettino has sailed into his own personal Bermuda Triangle.

A week ago Francesco Schettino was a good looking and respected cruise ship captain. Passengers were made welcome and charmed when they dined at his table on the Costa Concordia. Today he’s still good looking but much sadder – and certainly not respected.

His character and skills are being destroyed in the media, long before an inquiry begins. A former colleague said he was a daredevil, “We always got the impression he would drive a bus like a Ferrari.”

In tapes that have been released the local coastguard commander was heard ordering the captain to get back on board his ship because he had left passengers behind on the ship that was listing heavily and holed. Schettino was in denial and said it was impossible to go back.

The death toll is around 11 with 20 still unaccounted for. The disaster could have been much worse as there were around 4000 on board. But Schettino is claiming credit for steering the ship closer to the coast and saving lives. Some passengers were able to swim to safety.

Left it too late

But Schettino has also admitted it was his error that caused the disaster. He says he was navigating by sight because he knew the area so well, “But I left it too late to make a turn.” The ship hit a rock and a 30 metre gash was ripped in the side. Schettino’s idea was to sail close to the island of Giglio as a salute to his former captain who lived there.

Hunting for dry socks

Instead he has sailed into his own personal Bermuda Triangle. He faces charges of multiple manslaughter and deserting his ship instead of supervising the evacuation of passengers and crew. Schettino claims he fell into a lifeboat when the ship suddenly listed and could not climb back on board. A taxi driver who drove him to a hotel the next morning says the only conversation they had was when Schettino asked where he could get some dry socks.

In Italy the sinking has been seen as a national disaster and the captain’s performance a disgrace. T shirts are being printed with the coastguard’s words to Schettino, “Get the F*** Back on board”. The event is a setback for the cruise industry which is trying to go mass market, building bigger and bigger ships.

Comparisons are also being made between the episode and Italy’s economic problems, with ex Prime Minister Berlusconi in the captain’s role, delaying important decisions as the economy heads for the rocks.

But will the good ship Italia sink? No way! The current Prime Minister has more on his mind than dry socks!

Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil’s Triangle, is a famous stretch of the Atlantic Ocean bordered by Florida, Bermuda Islands, and Puerto Rico that has been the site of strange disappearances throughout history. The Coast Guard does not recognize the Bermuda Triangle or supernatural explanation for the mysterious disappearances in the middle. There are several possible explanations for the missing ships, including hurricanes, earthquakes, and magnetic fields that interfere with compass and other navigation devices. But far more interesting to think if they are sucked into another dimension missing, abducted by aliens, or just disappear into the air.

1. Teignmouth electron
Who says that the Bermuda Triangle only swallows ships and planes? Who says it can not make people mad, too? Maybe that’s what happened in Teignmouth Electron in 1969. The Sunday Times Golden Globe Race in 1968 left England on October 31 and required each contestant to sail solo with his ship. Donald Crowhurst was one of the newcomers, but he never made it to the finish line. The electron was found abandoned in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle in July 1969. Who reached the finish logbooks reveal that Crowhurst was deceiving organizers about his position in the race. The news last June 29 – he believed that Crowhurst jumped overboard and drowned himself in the Bermuda Triangle.

2. The Spray
Joshua Slocum, the first person to sail solo around the world, should not have disappeared at sea, but apparently that’s exactly what happened. In 1909, Spray left the East Coast of the United States to go to Venezuela through the Caribbean Sea. Slocum was never heard or seen again and was declared dead in 1924. His boat was sturdy and Slocum is a professional, so no one knows what happened. Maybe he was crushed by larger vessels, or perhaps he was taken by pirates. No one knows for sure that Slocum disappeared in Bermuda waters.

3. Star Ariel
A plane like the Tudor IV Star Tiger left Bermuda on January 17, 1949, with 7 crew and 13 passengers on the way to Jamaica. That morning, Capt. JC McPhee reported that the flight was running smoothly. Shortly thereafter, another more subtle message coming from the captain, when he reported that he changed the frequency, and then nothing else is heard. More than 60 aircraft and 13,000 people had been mobilized to search for the Star Ariel, but not even the slightest trash or debris that has ever been found. After Ariel disappeared, Tudor IV is no longer manufactured.

4. Star Tiger
Star Tiger, led by Captain BW McMillan, flew from England to Bermuda in January 1948. On 30 January, McMillan said he expected to arrive in Bermuda at 5:00 pm, but neither he nor any of the 31 people on board the Star Tiger had ever heard from again. When the Civil Air Ministry launched a search and investigation, they learned that the SS Troubadour had reported seeing a low flying aircraft halfway between Bermuda and the entrance to Delaware Bay. If it is the aircraft Star Tiger, it would drastically. According to the Civil Air Ministry, the fate of Star Tiger is still an unsolved mystery.

5. USS Cyclops
When the First World War heated up, America also participated in the battle. USS Cyclops, commanded by Lt. GW Worley, who lives in the East Coast of the United States until 1918 when he was sent to Brazil to refuel Allied ships. With 309 people on board, the ship left Rio de Janeiro in February and reached Barbados in March. After that, the Cyclops was never heard from again. The Navy said in an official statement, “The loss of this ship has become one of the most puzzling mysteries in the history of the Navy, all attempts to find him had proved successful. There was no enemy submarines in the western Atlantic at the time, and in December 1918 every effort was made to obtain from German sources of information about the loss of the ship. “

6. Flight 201
This Cessna left Fort Lauderdale on March 31, 1984, with a route to the island of Bimini in the Bahamas, but never succeeded. Mid to the destination, the plane slowed down the speed significantly, but no radio signals are made from aircraft to indicate the pressure. Suddenly, the plane fell from the air into the water, completely disappeared from the radar. A woman on Bimini Island swore she saw a plane plunge into the sea about a mile offshore, but no wreckage ever found.

7. Flight 19
During the day December 5, 1945, five Avenger torpedo bombers left the Naval Air Station in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, by Lt. Charles Taylor a commander and 13 student pilots. About one-half hour in flight, over the radio he said that the compass was not working, but he estimates that he was somewhere in Florida. Lieutenant who receives the radio signal ordered Taylor to fly north toward Miami, as long as he believes he is really on top of Floria. Although he was an experienced pilot, he received the terrible reality and the more he tries to get out of Florida, he and his crew went further and further out to sea.
At nightfall the radio signal deteriorates, until finally none of Flight 19. American naval investigated and reported that Taylor confusion caused disaster, but his mother convinced them to change the official report that the plane went down with an unknown cause.

It’s unfortunate that many flights have become victims because Mystery of the Bermuda Triangle. Find out how this plane was never heard from again.

Very interesting article about the Bermuda triangle mystery.

First of all, what is the Bermuda Traingle?
The Bermuda Triangle is a triangulated area where radar, compasses, and GPS do not work. It is north east of the Caribbean and has “caused” many ships and planes to “go down” over the years. They basically sail/fly around in circles until they run out of gas and crash/sink. Theories range from electromagnetic interference from the sun to aliens.
One of the sides borders on the Sargasso Sea, a massive kelp field that “traps” ships. Legend has it that you can find ships from the Exploration Era (1400’s) and earlier to the Present in perfect condition there, with their crews still alive and stuck forever.

So looking at the facts behind the mystery of Bermuda Triangle, I have been able to research that more than 1000 ships and planes have disappeared in the triangle area over the past five centuries and continue to do so to this day.
And all these happen when apparently there is no human errors, equipment failures or even natural disasters. Strangely, the ships andaircraft just vanish when everything seemsto be okay. Many believe that Devil is at play here and therefore call the area also as Devil’s Triangle.
The facts however are quite far from what is generally known or believed to be true. There are many stories and myths created through sheer imagination of writers who have used them rampantly to draw publicity to their books. In many cases, the facts got blurred.

In the past century is estimated to about 50 ships and 20 aircraft disappeared mysteriously in an area called the Bermuda triangle. No wonder many people call the region by the name of a triangle devil. After nearly a century passed, there remains the mystery of the Bermuda triangle?

Bermuda Triangle Atlantic Ocean stretches bounded by lines connecting Florida, the island of Bermuda and Puerto Rico. The extent of about 1.2 million km2. The mystery begins when a lot of ships, boats and aircraft disappeared mysteriously in the region. According to the researchers, in this region the laws of physics are violated all-out.

Even today, the Bermuda triangle is still often a topic of favorite books novels and Hollywood films. His story was never finished discussed at these sites and paranormal mysteries.

Bermuda triangle name originally came from a reporter named Vincent Gaddis wrote an article titled “The deadly Bermuda triangle” which was published in February 1964 in Argosy magazine. But the legend is turned on and popularized by a writer named Charles Berlitz who wrote a book called “The Bermuda Triangle” in 1974.

One of the first story about this mystery is the events that occurred in 1918. At that time a ship named the USS Cyclops which has a length of 542 feet and carrying coal for the American navy was sailing from Salvador to Maryland. The ship never reached its destination. The searchers found only the information that the ship was docked in Barbados on 3 and March 4 to add inventory. After that, disappeared without a trace.

Another popular story is the mystery of the loss of five American military aircraft (flight 19) on December 5, 1945. On that day, five Avenger bombers set off from the naval base in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at 2:10 o’clock in the afternoon. The fifth plane was piloted by soldiers led by Lt. aviators. Charles Taylor.

One and a half hour later, Lt. Robert Cox at the base to receive radio transmissions from Lt. Charles Taylor who said that the compass stopped working and he was confused to determine direction. Over the next few hours, the base can still receive radio communications from the five aircraft until communication totally disconnected at 7:04 o’clock tonight.

Two aircraft was then ordered to fly the plane to find the fifth. One of the search planes never returned to base. The rescuers had joined the fifth plane, just disappeared.

This mystery has made a variety of theories emerged to the surface. According to the ufolog, on the Atlantic seabed where there is the headquarters of the Bermuda triangle aliens who abducted the ship and aircraft. According to the followers of new age, planes and ships disappear because crystalline residue that comes from the mysterious island of Atlantis. According to the spiritualist, bermuda triangle is the door to the fourth dimension.

According to researchers a more rational, this phenomenon can be caused by electromagnetic interference. To the skeptic, who is most responsible for the bad weather, bad luck, pirates, incompetent navigators, and human error.

Interesting, because those theories do not end up there. A psychiatrist named Dr. Kenneth McCall has another theory. He tracks the history of the Bermuda triangle to hundreds of years earlier and found that the area was formerly a merchant ship and then lalangnya west. And he found a surprising fact. During the slave trade, an estimated 10 million slaves were thrown overboard, whether because they are affected by the disease, or as punishment.

According to Dr. McCall, ghost 10 million slaves were able to confuse the minds of the pilots or navigators who passed by.

Bermuda triangle mystery continued until 2000. At that time a British ship that sank 70 years earlier (not in the Bermuda triangle) was successfully lifted from the seabed. This ship proved to be a key disclosure Bermuda Triangle mystery is more rational, ie methane gas.

According to them in certain areas in the ocean, sometimes methane gas erupted from the seabed. The rise of this gas to the surface cause a reduction in the density of sea water and will cause anything in sea level drowned. Even if the crew jumped into the surface with a buoy, still they will drown.

And in the bermuda triangle, found several parts where the usual methane gas sprayed into the sea. This could indeed explain the cause of the sinking ship. But still can not explain the cause of the loss of aircraft.

Then in 1975, a man named Larry Kusche who works as a librarian at Arizona State University researching this mystery seriously and get very different conclusions. According to him, there are no mysteries in bermuda triangle. He writes the results of investigations in a book called “The Bermuda Triangle Mystery – Solved”.

He found a lot of accident reports in the Bermuda triangle is not reported accurately. Example, he found a report on the ship suddenly lost in a sea of calm, when in fact the ocean when it was hit by a storm.

In another part, he found many stories written about the ships that disappeared mysteriously. In reality, the ship wreck was found and the cause of the sinking was unexplained.

In other cases he found a writer mentions a ship lost in the bermuda triangle. When in fact the ship sank 3,000 miles away from the bermuda triangle.

Moreover, with an area of 1.2 million km2 (9 times the island of Java) and heavy shipping traffic, it is natural that there are some ships that sank there. Moreover, aircraft and ships that sank decades ago did not have adequate navigation system.

After nearly a century, the question is, whether there are still remaining mysteries of the Bermuda triangle. Apparently that is still a mystery is how the Bermuda triangle can be a mystery.

Perhaps the story and the stories that we get it mixed up with the human imagination. Maybe Larry Kusche was right. There are no mysteries in bermuda triangle. Moreover, the last incident that happened was on December 22, 1967, 42 years ago.

Sexuality: The Bermuda Triangle of Mothers and Daughters

Since women still aren’t absolutely accepted as animal creatures, which sexually aggressive secrets does a mother accumulate because she’s fabricated a acquainted accommodation to advocate her claimed privacy, and which does she keep, added by absence than consideration, out of shame?

This is generally what happens. A mother lives out activity altering adventures aural her sexuality, or abuse of it, again casts them off into a Bermuda Triangle, authoritative all the advice they accommodate always bare to her daughter, who again has to acquisition her own way through some of the actual aforementioned challenges her mother faced, after account of her mother’s experience.

Every mother and babe is advantaged to her aloofness and it’s important for anniversary of them to actuate for herself what her abundance zones are and what she requires to aegis them, abnormally about animal trauma. My affair is that mothers authority these things central artlessly because their mothers did – because they don’t apperceive any alternatives to the silence. Our mothers are our templates, and abundant of how we cope reflects that.

There can be an automated acceptance that assertive advice isn’t adapted for a babe to have. But sometimes the mother’s abashment can dark her to her to what her babe ability wish to know. And sometimes the babe senses and inherits her mother’s abashment about these issues, and ends up befitting the actual aforementioned secrets from her mother, for abhorrence of getting judged.

These are the realities not absolute to mothers:

Daughters ability catechism their sexuality. Daughters can get abundant beneath altitude that are beneath than optimal. Daughters ability be ambiguous if they’re with the appropriate partner. Daughters do admiration how sex fits into all of the added complications of relationships or abridgement thereof. Daughters will acceptable appear to see adultery as the peanut adulate to the clabber of declared monogamy. Daughters do get molested. And 1 in 6 daughters will be the victim of abduction in her lifetime.

U.S. scientists found that the surface area covered with millions of virus Bermuda Triangle.

Bermuda Triangle – the area that connects the imaginary Puerto Rico, the waters of Florida, and Bermuda – famous for mystical image. It reinforced the fact that hundreds of ships and planes disappear in the area. Although he was found, a number of ships to be empty, with no crew and passengers who disappeared mysteriously.

An author, Vincent Gaddis in 1964 argued, there are anomalies that explain these strange phenomena. However, the Bermuda Triangle gain fame in 1974, when Charles Berlitz published the book that popularized the Bermuda Triangle as the ‘Sea Devil’ or ‘Sea Devils’.

Post-it, a diverse group of scientists researching the Bermuda Triangle to find anomalies that are considered responsible for the accident so strange there. But none have been found. U.S. Coast Guard report which presents even mention, the incidence of vessel is more common in the Bermuda Triangle from other regions, due to the storm.

In the 1990s, interest in the Bermuda Triangle fading. However, recently, scientists from the United States discovered ‘anomalies’ else in the Bermuda Triangle. This had nothing to do with the disappearance of ships or aircraft.

The Bermuda Institute of Oceanology of scientists led by Professor Craig Carlson found, the water level in the area was filled with various kinds of viruses. The good news, it does not threaten human virus. They are only interested in marine bacteria.

These findings are the result of oceanographic research in the northwestern Sargasso Sea – which is located near the island of Bermuda and the Bermuda Triangle – for ten years.

Scientists uncover the dynamics of microscopic organisms is associated with the seasons. For example, in the summer, the virus multiplied in the water layer at a depth of 60 to 100 meters. Their number could reach ten million particles per one drop of water. In winter, they are not detected on the surface, the organism that chose to live in deeper locations.

Also of interest, the investigators’ analysis revealed that 90 percent of the viral DNA has not been known to science. They include bacteriophages – viruses that prey on bacteria. Scientists also found organic molecules dead bacteria around the virus. That makes the surface water in the region rich in nutrients. This means that bacteriophages form a microscopic ecosystem in which they live.

The virus creates a ‘cafeteria’ in the region. Not only interesting plakton organisms, but also made whales and dolphins come and look for food in there.

The scientists admitted amazed by the findings that they produce. Because, previously they did not know the role of this virus in the formation of marine ecosystems. According to oceanographers, marine viruses are poorly understood because they are difficult to capture. But it is now clear, they are countless in all seas and oceans.

“Their numbers are 95 percent of the total biomass of the sea. That is, the amount of virus is even greater than the combination of krill (a type of small shrimp), fish and larger animals like whales. Given the rate of multiplication of viruses and their number, it becomes clear just how important their role in the nutrient cycle on the planet, “says co-author, Dr. Rachel Persons.

Although research conducted in the Bermuda Triangle – a unique location in the ocean – some experts believe, in this case there are no abnormalities specific to the Bermuda triangle. The virus is also found in some areas of the ocean.

Is it dangerous to this phenomenon? The question ambiguous. To answer it, it may be appropriate to draw an analogy with … Bermuda Triangle! For many years, scientists trying to unravel the secrets of this mysterious and legendary places, which lost a lot of people and technology.

Most researchers agree that the ships in the Bermuda Triangle may sink due to hit in an area where there is an active methane from undersea gas deposits. In this case, the water is diluted with gas bubbles, becomes less dense and can no longer keep the ship afloat.

Several years ago, Bruce Denardo of California, questioning this theory, water filled the vessel with 4 liters and started checking on the buoyancy of hollow steel balls partially filled with water. Under normal conditions, the balls float, and when the bottom began to blow, they are getting into the “bubble” area, immediately sank.

The scientist was surprised by the success of the experiment. However, suppose that the balls could sink and due to the fact that a limited amount of laboratory vessels, in contrast to the open sea, just not enough room for the formation of sufficiently strong upward water flow that can keep the ball afloat. At the same time, the researcher is not completely denied the “bubble” theory, assuming that the Bermuda Triangle may well be a phenomenon similar to those observed in the laboratory.

Research by Australian scientists have continued Denardo May and Monaghan. Having established in vitro that the ship could sink just a single bubble of enormous size, having a length and width dimensions equal to or exceeding the size of the ship, the Australians took the idea for the foundation and conducted computer simulations.

The computer model was based on the principles of hydrodynamics, take into account the speed, pressure, density, water and gas.

Whether the vessel will sink or not depends on its position relative to the bubble. If it is sufficiently far from the bubble, then it is safe. If it is just above the bladder, it is also safe. Dangerous position of the vessel – between the center of the bubble and FEMA.

Recent monitoring of the bottom of the Bering Sea revealed the presence of a sunken vessel within a large area of intense zone of gas emissions, now known as the Bay of Witches, which may also become a victim of the gas bubble.

So far no one has seen such a release of gas in real life, and nobody knows – what the size of the bubbles of methane detached from the bottom and in what configuration. However, once these bubbles are really committed, they analyze and evaluate the potential risk of exposure of the passing vessels.

My theory describes a possible reason why magnetic compasses swirl around uncontrolably while in the Bermuda Triangle and also in its coresponding area located on the opposite side of the globe.

This theory refers to a phenomenon associated with the magnetism resulting from a spinning sphere.Imagine a circle with a North South East West. Now imagine that the energy associated with North is faster and similarly the energy associated with the East is Faster. Now imagine the energy associated with the South is slower and similarly the energy associated with the West is slower. Therefore North East is Faster Faster while South West is Slower Slower. Now imagine this scenario in three dimensions where the xyz axis could be described as giving rise to for example a Faster Faster Faster area located to the right hand front top side of your head (a sphere) while the Slower Slower Slower area of the sphere corresponds to the back left lower side of your head.I believe this axis pointing 45 degrees down from right to left through the centre out through the bottom left of the globe or vice verse explains why a compass which should always point North is induced to a turning motion by this phenomenon associated with a spinning sphere.Intuitively I would also submit that this axis also points towards the true North South axis of the universe.

Bermuda Triangle remains one of the most mysterious regions on earth. There have been numerous disappearances of ships or aircraft amazing, but can be extremely varied causes: storms, hurricanes, or alien existence of strong magnetic fields.

Bermuda Triangle is a geographical area, which has peaks at Miami, Bermuda and San Juan in Puerto Rico. In this region, over time, more planes and ships have mysteriously disappeared, which makes many to believe that this triangle unusual phenomena occur, according to The Unexplained Mysteries.

We present the following ten theories attempting to explain the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle.

1. Storms

This is one of the theories that explain the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle. Atlantic Ocean is known for storms, hurricanes and the weather was extremely violent.

Storms and hurricanes can cause waves over 20 meters. Adding the powerful current of the Gulf, then you have pictures of what can happen here. An even greater danger lies in the deep ocean, the region is one of the deepest of the Atlantic.

2. A U.S. military base

As there is Area 51, the U.S. Air Force, where he conducted secret military tests, as is the U.S. Navy’s Andros Island in the Bahamas. Some believe that this is more than a weapons testing facility and that is where the U.S. government built the equipment to communicate with aliens.

3. Alien activity

This theory provides the missing ships and planes into alien activity in the region. It says it is because of aliens or beings from other planets. They say also that there are extraterrestrial aircraft, traveling often and sometimes the aliens moving between our planet and their world.

4. Human error

Considered the number one reason for the disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle, this theory states that everything happened in the area due to human error. The region around the Bermuda Triangle is formed by a series of islands, similar to one another.

For this reason, it is difficult to find your way. In addition, adverse weather and storms are risk factors. In such a scenario, vessels or aircraft, once lost, is very difficult to find the route back in May.

5. Time travel

This theory is one of the most popular, despite the fact that there is no evidence in this regard. She says the disappearances are caused by time travel. In other words, whenever one extinction happens in the Bermuda Triangle, the ship or aircraft without a trace back in time or at some point in future travels.

There are people who have reported seeing a huge cloud as a tunnel in the region and they think it is a vortex of time travel.

6. Atlantis

This theory is supported by some people who believe that the lost city of Atlantis was somewhere near the Bahamas Islands. Legend has it that this city has been powered by energy produced by some powerful crystals. The effect remains the crystals would cause diversion of aircraft radio signals.

7. Methane gas

According to this view, methane gas bubbles rising to the surface of a decrease in water density. For this reason, the ships could not remain afloat and would sink without trace.

Wrecks vessels could lead on the ocean floor, but could be worn by strong currents of the Gulf. If this is true, however there is no source in the methane gas.

8. The effect of a comet crash

The first theory that was discussed on the Bermuda Triangle was about the collapse of a comet to Earth a few thousand years ago, somewhere nearby.

Those who believe in this theory believe that somewhere deep ocean are the remains of the comet and its electromagnetic fields causes the Bermuda Triangle disappearances.

There are traces of a comet in the fall and in the absence of evidence, this theory remains only a guess.

9. A strong magnetic field

Theory says that the main cause, which is behind the mysterious disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle, as the Earth’s magnetic field, especially in this region.

Frequently been observed that those near the Bermuda Triangle deviates compasses and navigation equipment does not work correctly.

10. Pirate Attack

Although this hypothesis should not be completely excluded, it can not explain why the aircraft disappeared. The reason so many disappear in the ship would be pirate attacks, which are particularly active in this region of the Atlantic.
