Republicans are scared by the choices they have made, so they are throwing support behind the least controversial candidate they have.

Newt Gingrich: The Long Hard Road to Mediocrity

Republican voters, terrified by the bad choices they have made, have decided to hitch their wagon to a bright and shining conservative star.

When the Republicans wanted change, they were tricked into backing the Tea Party, because they really believed that ANY change would make the nation stronger.

Now they are wiser, and they won’t be fooled by transparent flim-flam artists like Mitt Romney, not when there are slightly less transparent flim-flam artists like Newt Gingrich.

And this makes sense. The Republicans who were driven by homophobia, Islamaphobia, and the irrational fear of their own shadow, decided to vote for the most radical candidates they could.

If you can’t get rid of the bullies, than you might as well give your lunch money to the biggest bully on the block. There is a twisted logic to conservative cowardice.

So the Republican base got what they thought they wanted, and now they are paying for it, despite the Democratic effort to bail their sorry asses out of the slop the GOP has created.

Now they see that change…any change…is bad. They don’t want Mitt Romney because he is a crazy corporate raiding cultist who is unafraid of whoring himself out for a quick buck. He is too quick to smile as he carelessly castes American workers to the curb. His hair is as slick and greasy as his political positions.

So, many Republicans will vote for Newt Gingrich, because he appears to not give a damn about what anybody thinks, and he is open about his infidelity and inability to maintain normal human relationships….

…and he is a Christian, so in many ways he is like every other lying cheating Christian scumbag who is going to vote for him.

Why strive for something new, or something good, when they can bash the black man in office, and go for a sure thing….

…the devil that they know.

U.S. President Barack Obama on Tuesday will call for economic justice populist, while trying to attract middle class voters to 10 months after the elections in his State of the Union.

The message will be sent to a divided nation amid a determined campaign to replace Republican in office. Obama will give his presidential report third night in a capital and a country crossed by politics, campaigning for reelection on track and potential Republican rivals preparing to attack every day, AP reported.

The president’s message at 9:00 pm (local time Eastern) to Congress and millions of viewers will be by far an element for re-election and so far is the biggest and best chance of the agent to provide a vision for search a second term.

“Almost by definition, be at least a political speech and government,” said Bill Galston, former President Bill Clinton’s exconsejero.

“The president must rely on his record,” Galston said, “and that means the country speak candidly and powerfully about the challenges facing the U.S. economy when he took office, what has gone well over the last three years and also what to do. “

With economic anxiety shown by all parties, the speech will focus on a vision to restore the middle class, while Obama faces the difficult task of convincing voters to stay with him even though unemployment is around 8.5%.

Rushing to Judgment can return to bite you for your rear end, perhaps our current prospective Republican candidate will learn that soon enough, that some time deeds good or bad can become period of influence or period disabilities. Newt Gingrich in 1988 as House Speaker was all for “impeachment” of Pres. Clinton because of his extra curlicural activity, but now Mr. Gingrich did not like it when one of his competitors at debate for GOP candidate brought up his marriage Equality, he did not like that, it was big insult to him. Sorry Mr. Gingrich wait until Democrats get smell of it, you will need find deep hole to hide but than again that is politics!

Ladies and Gentlemen: I do not car who you are sleeping with the only interest to me is what you are doing for me and people of this country and I believe that must of people does not care about your extra curricular activity but you action for the better of our people our country. Also needless to say Mr. Gingrich and his followers they made big deal about Mr. Clinton avoided Military service (which I did not like) since I am Vet. However Mr. Gingrich and his followers “did not” served according to media single day in Military service to protect our way of life protect our country!

Respectful:

Your enthusiasm and dedication will work wonders in transforming you into a wholesome person, who command the attention and admiration of people around him. By the sheer impact of your dynamism you can achieve your goals authentically and authoritatively.

‘Strong lives are motivated by dynamic purposes; lesser ones exist on wishes and inclination.’-Kenneth Hildebrand

A dynamic person literally towers over others by the sheer force of his personality. His presence vibrates through the power of his character and people are drawn towards him. What is it that makes him stand out? Observe him and you will find that he has a stamp of confidence in him and the way he talks and walks depict the strength of his character. You too can be as dynamic as any other person.

The first thing you must do is to analyze yourself and see where you are lacking and develop those lacking skills. Do you like yourself? You must like yourself to be successful in life. When you have a good opinion of yourself you get an aura of confidence in you. Focus on what you want to be in your life. Aim or focus in life acts like an anchor, steadying your life boat from being tossed hither and thither aimlessly.

Communicate confidently. Good communication skill is an ‘open sesame’, throwing open doors of opportunities. When you talk with an air of confidence people are attracted and drawn towards you. You must be a good listener to be able to communicate well with people. When you talk with others look straight into the eyes of the person who converses with you. Your eyes should not be blank. It should reflect your feelings. People do not like communicating with a person whose eyes are wayward.

When you talk, you must know what you are talking about. Improve the way you speak, paying attention to your voice modulation. When some people talk they mesmerize those around them by the sheer magnetism of their voice, the way they talk and communicate. Do not show off about subjects you do not know of.

You should keep yourself fit and healthy. A healthy body gives you the energy to look confident. Do not put on too much of flab, as if you add on weight you tend to look rather dull even if you dress well. Carry the dress you are wearing with style and dignity . You should know you are looking good. Unless you are able to admire yourself you will never be able look confident. Your handshake should be firm and friendly.

Do not be too fashion conscious as certain latest fashions look ridiculous and would give you a freaky look. Your dress reflects your character and so be diligent in dressing according to the occasion. When you are attending a formal meeting, your dress code should be such that you command everyone’s attention and appreciation. During informal gathering you should dress casually and uniquely so that you stand out even in that informal crowd also.

Stride with sure steps and be well shod. Your eyes should reflect your confidence and each and every action should add advantage to your dynamic personality. There are some people who put on airs, assuming they appear dynamic. Nothing can be farther from truth. People are put off by such behavior. You should appear confident without being arrogant, friendly without being overly clamoring and knowledgeable without being showy. Let your whole attitude have a ring of truthfulness, honesty and the right amount friendliness.

Who do I think is the most dynamic personality? There are many but my favorite still remains the former American president Bill Clinton. I like his smile, the way he interacts with people and the way he carries himself.

‘What a man accomplishes in a day depends upon the way he approaches his tasks. When we accept tough jobs as a challenge to our ability and wade into them with joy and enthusiasm, miracles can happen. When we do our work with a dynamic conquering spirit, we get things done.’-Arland Gilbert.

Your enthusiasm and dedication will work wonders in transforming you into a wholesome person, who command the attention and admiration of people around him. By the sheer impact of your dynamism you can achieve your goals authentically and authoritatively.

It has to infuriate conservatives that the current leader in the polls, Newt Gingrich, received millions of dollars from Freddie Mac for “advice as a historian.” It was also recently revealed that former President Bill Clinton was receiving $50,000 a month as a “consultant” for MF Global. This should not be surprising since both of their political careers were built on pursuing profit and self-interest, while neglecting principals and public interest. They are birds of the same feather.

While many people are familiar with the downfall of Freddie Mac, the October 31 bankruptcy filing of MF Global was the eighth largest in US history and shows that little has changed in the financial industry. Why should it, when former politicians continue to be for sale as if America were a banana republic? CEO and former Democratic Governor John Corzine claims not to know what happened to the $1.2 billion that’s missing. Trick or treat? Depends on who you ask. The easiest route to power for a politician is to sell out. With the promise that victory will be rewarded, corporations will fund anyone’s campaign.

Apologists will claim that Gingrich and Clinton are not responsible for the collapse of Freddie Mac or MF Global. However, influence peddling is completely contrary to what the free market system requires, fairness. Is our economic system based on a competition of what you do, or of who you know? We know how most politicians would answer that.

Politicians are entrusted with much power and information that they are supposed to use to serve their constituents, not themselves. While legal, simply waiting until out of office to sell that trust to the highest bidder is a complete degradation of the office they once held. Yet, these new elites actually promote themselves as intellectuals who can fix our economic problems. Yes, the system will be fixed. They will make sure whatever legislation they pass will benefit them and their corporate masters, as they’ve done consistently since the 1990s.

When British Petroleum took shortcuts that neglected safety to get oil in the Gulf of Mexico, people were rightly outraged at the resulting catastrophe. This is why the government has to regulate businesses. All too often business men are so focused on pursuing profit that they trample all over the interests and sometimes even rights of the little guys. Politicians who wish to govern as though they were CEOs, focusing so intently on GDP and budget deficits, can end up devastating many ordinary people with their policies.

If you look at the big picture with Gingrich and Clinton, even though the numbers look nice during their time in government, the consequences of their policies have been devastating. What really shows how arrogant they are is that they like taking credit for everything good that happened in the 1990s, while they were in fact dismantling the economic structure for the long term. Did Gingrich and Clinton have anything to do with the boom in Silicon Valley that did so much to change not only America, but the rest of the world?

President Clinton and the Republican Congress that Gingrich formed and brought to power gave America the Permanent Normalized Trade Relations (PNTR) with China, passed more crime bills than any president and Congress in US history, and repealed Glass-Steagall which deregulated the banks and played such a crucial role in our recent economic crisis. Thank you! The much overlooked crime bills passed in the name of “culture wars” promoted the valuation of incarceration over education. The doubling of America’s prison population helped keep unemployment low, since all the new prisons had to be staffed and the new inmates couldn’t be counted in unemployment statistics anymore. Is that a real solution?

Many people believe that we operate in an era that is beyond history; that the world has never seen as much transition, development and unification as what occurred in the last century. The lessons of the past no longer apply because the world is so different. This was some of the thinking that led people to falsely assume that our “new” economy was immune to the deep depressions of the past. They failed to take into account that while the world has changed greatly, man hasn’t. Therefore, the lessons of man’s successes and failures throughout history are timeless. Especially those based on morality.

Gingrich and Clinton personify egotistical leaders who wish to save or create a new world, only to cause tremendous damage. They might have good intentions, but for our leaders that’s not enough. They have to be judged on their policies, and that requires long term analysis. If our leaders have failed, and we pretend that they were a success, the damage continues. Politicians aren’t sports stars, nor are political parties sports teams that you root for just because you like them for whatever reason. These are the people who will decide our nation’s future. While the media enjoys portraying the competition between parties as though it were a sport, the stakes are far greater.

I don’t hate Gingrich or Clinton, I just hope their charade as leaders will end. They were followers of a fast buck from the beginning. Hustlers think their cleverness can solve any problem by making a profit out of it. This makes them incapable of building anything of substance that will stand the test of time. With all the money in politics these days, it’s no surprise that so many hustlers have risen to the top. Too bad the result is that America is getting hustled out of its future.

They have decided to take a diet based on vegetables. Find out more from their diets.

Walk through the Pure Food and Wine restaurant in fashionable area of Manhattan Irving or its spacious and luxurious garden and could encounter with actress Katie Holmes.

It could also meet Bill Clinton and daughter Chelsea, who have made a series of visits together to enjoy the corn tamales with portobello mushrooms, cashew or mint ice cream for dessert. The place also attended by many Wall Street tycoons.

It could be any trendy restaurant in New York, but Pure Food and Wine serves only raw food and vegan, without an egg or an oven in sight. His upper class clientele consists of a mixture of vegans, vegetarians and lovers of food, but is clearly an indication of how it has changed the face of veganism in recent years.

But the celebrities that we championed the lifestyle of this type of vegetarianism is not just young actresses who are just beginning to shine in public. There is also the host of television talk shows Ellen DeGeneres, with wife Portia de Rossi, as well as Oprah Winfrey, who, though not vegan, led his team to undergo a regime of this kind for 21 days.

In addition there are men like Ozzy Osbourne and Russell Brand, who in recent weeks said vegans. There are even athletes like Carl Lewis and Mike Tyson.

VEGETARIAN DIET

However, among all the high profile vegan stands Bill Clinton. Last year, the former president told CNN that his impressive loss of weight 24 pounds was due to a diet based primarily on plants. Said he was confident that his new regime will prolong life.

The question is how many of these celebrities are influencing Americans.

“All this exposure (the media) is influencing, absolutely,” says Joseph Connelly, editor and publisher of trade publication VegNews. “People can now pronounce the word” vegan “(vegan)! Five or 10 years could not. It’s just something positive. “

The Vegetarian Resource Group, an advocacy group and educational non-profit, says its latest figures show that about 5% of American adults are vegetarians never eat meat, fish, shellfish or pollo_, and that half of these are vegan, then do not eat dairy products or eggs. Vegans do not eat even stricter honey.

ON THE RISE

Moreover, the proportion of vegetarians vegans among Americans seems to be growing, says Charles Stahler, co-director of the group.

Veganism “is no longer seen as a diet of chickpeas pureed and alfalfa sprouts in a little healthy but very dry bread,” says a prominent chef of this type of food and cookbook author may Ronnen, who has worked with celebrities like Oprah and DeGeneres, is a chef and partner in two hotel complexes in Las Vegas casino mogul Steve Wynn.

“They are not hippies who preach peace and love. Now we have a mix of business people and celebrities most important attractive “.

Losing weight is not the reason I chose to be vegan Daelyn Fortney. The mother of a family and a resident of Greenville, South Carolina and director of vegetarian and vegan ThisDishIsVeg site-focuses on the ethics associated with respect for animals.

However, claims to be delighted that people like former U.S. president will be giving veganism a fresh face and powerful.

“That will probably be the way that will have many more people” on veganism, says Fortney. “It’s always great when a cause has a big name behind.”

However, he adds a note of caution about the celebrities who are vegan.

“I hope we do not proceed!” Says Fortney. “If they do, could do enormous damage.”

President Bill Clinton once sighed, “I could have been a great president, if he had lived in times of great.” Well, here we are today do not live in “big time” – but rather to force the issues.
Markets tottering tremble as the euro area. The confrontation over Iran’s nuclear program threatens to escalate. United States recently signed a historic agreement on the future deployment of force in Australia, reflecting the growing alarm about China’s strategic challenge.
However, it is difficult to suggest that Western nations are being governed by leaders remotely capable of matching the time. The south of the euro area has been forced to put in a situation of political bankruptcy, neglect of government by elected representatives – a frightening development for democracies.
President Nicolas Sarkozy of France would be the laughingstock, if not to occupy such an important position. German Chancellor Angela Merkel could be a mayor of the city proper, but is visibly overwhelmed by his responsibility to save the European financial system. Britain’s David Cameron is marginalized.
More importantly, however, is the gap across the Atlantic.
President Barack Obama, who took office almost three years amid such high hopes, now clings to the White House amid the polls collapsed and a real threat that the American people to evacuate elections next fall.
The United States, as the great historian Sir Michael Howard has said, remains “the only nation capable and willing at times to do things in the world.” However, this powerful country is now virtually paralyzed the political system, its leader, overwhelmingly concerned with their own re-election next year, instead of the west of the main mire of despair of a European central bank said few weeks ago: “If you call Washington and try to analyze the financial crisis, the government people say, ‘Please do not bother us with these things until after November.
We are still 50 weeks from the first day of voting, but election fever is sweeping the nation. All major U.S. newspapers devoted a page a day or three to the campaign.
Obama’s Republican rival, the candidates are spending millions of dollars in TV ads. While in January 2009, only 20 percent of voters disapprove of Obama as president, 51 percent already do. Three quarters of Americans say they believe their country is headed in the wrong – the economy was handled incompetently.

Former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton has been hired as a full-time special correspondent for NBC News, according to reports. NBC will announce this later today.

NBC News president Steve Capus told the New York Times that the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will focus on pieces for the network’s “Making a Difference” feature on NBC Nightly News.

Chelsea Clinton, 31, said in a statement:

“I hope that telling stories through ‘Making a Difference’ – as in my academic work and nonprofit work – will help me to live my grandmother’s adage of ‘Life is not about what happens to you, but about what you do with what happens to you.’”

With that quote, Chelsea, who married Marc Mezvinsky last year, is paying homage to grandmother Dorothy Rodham, who died November 1 at the age of 92.

Other prominent political daughters who work for NBC News in some capacity include Jenna Bush Hager (The Today Show) and Meghan McCain (MSNBC).

Congrats to Chels on her new gig!
