This describes the events from the Czar to the communist Stalin. How did it happen, why did it happen?

This is a list of what I consider to be the seven greatest leaders of the last Century. The leaders include military revolutionists, political revolutionist and nation leaders. Each and everyone I’ve include has helped guide masses of people to prosperity, a better society, and progression within the global arena.

Vladimir Lenin is often described as “the Hero of the Revolution” and is remembered as one of History’s greatest leaders and visionaries. After the overthrow of the tsarist regime and the collapse of the Provisional Government however, power did not just fall into his hands – a bitter civil war took place between the “Red” Bolsheviks and the “Whites.” It was in this period that Leon Trotsky, as commander of the Red Army, came into his own, leading the Bolsheviks to victory and to the beginning of communist Russia!

No doubt one of the most famous revolutionaries and political leaders in history is Vladimir Lenin, leader of the Russian Revolution. The revolution was not just one single event however, it was spread over a larger period of time, The most famous part of which being the October Revolution.
