The implementation of tough measures to match the tough rhetoric and sabre-rattling by the British coalition government, has been as spectacular as a damp squib! Recent interaction between them and the Bankers, has shown who really rules!

Both the Prime Minister, David Cameron, and his deputy, Nick Clegg, have been shown to be no more than toothless bulldogs, in their attempts to temper the continued awarding of exhorbitant bonuses to bankers, by themsleves.

Voters in the UK will all remember the very well acted indignation, expressed by the Tory and Lib Dem leadership, at the granting of excessive bonuses by bankers to themselves. The pervading view of the just-emerging coalilition government, was that since we, the people of the UK, now owned the banks, courtesy of multi-billion pound bail-outs, we would call a halt to the excessive money-orgies enjoyed by the investment bankers in the City.

In January of 2011, the toothlessness of the grossly inexperienced government leaders, in discussions with battle-hardened bankers, has been ruthlessly highlighted. There have been discussions and consultations. The Deputy PM has used the toughest language that he could muster, to ask politely, that when the banks award themselves bonuses in a few weeks time, they could please show sensisitivity towards the struggling mere mortals in British society, by not making the bonuses too big. The Prime Minister, the leading sabre-rattler as an opposition leader, has shown turncoat tendencies, by suggesting that we should stop bashing bankers! So much for grasping the nettle and dealing with one of the big issues that almost brought the banks down!

And when the smoke settles, after the frenetic activity of the last few days and weeks of discussions, two things will remain unchanged. The first is that bankers will still pay to themselves bonuses, that in some cases, will be in the millions. They will cock a snoot at the government, and will do exactly what they want to, irrespective of public or government opinion. The banks rule here, the government doesn’t have a clue!

The second thing that will remain unchanged, is that politicians simply cannot be trusted!

Militant union leaders were once seen as the biggest threat to a country's prosperity. Have they lost that reputation to the bankers who have almost bankrupted entire continents?

In the second half of the last century the rise of the trades unions was seen by many right wing observers & business people as the single biggest threat to capitalism in history. Far from being seen as a force for fairness & justice in the workplace many people saw the unions as an almost communist plot to bankrupt western commerce.

Admittedly, in 1970’s Britain, these unions became too powerful & drove down quality & standards in many industies, particularly car building. When Margaret Thatcher came to power in 1979, the Conservative government made smashing union power its number 1 priority. As usual in Britain there was no middle ground; rather than reign in the union’s excesses & leaving them to do the job they were formed to do, i.e. looking after the interests of their members, Thatcher decided on total destruction to as great a degree as possible. Unfortunately this resulted in the total annihalation of many industries, most markedly mining. The effects of this are still being felt today as entire communities were left with nothing to employ these former workers.

Image via Wikipedia

In many people’s eyes the downfall of these militant leaders such as Arthur Scargill, was Thatcher’s finest hour. They felt that business could now thrive & that private enterprise could now prosper. To an extent this happened, but, as usual it headed too far in the other direction. What could be termed the “Wall Street” years saw the rise of the “greed is good” generation. Making money was paramount, no matter at what cost. It has taken a while, but now the chickens have come home to roost. These 1980’s whizz kids now are in charge of the world’s largest banking corporations & seem to still approach every deal with the same cavalier attitude they had as spotty 19 year olds!

And so, because of this totally selfish mantra, every one of us is having to pay. Taxpayer bail outs of household name banks who were once regarded as rock solid have become the norm. This would not have been too bad if these people had learned their lesson & decided that a prudent approach would be wise. But no, they still feel that they know best & that this knowledge should be rewarded with obscene bonuses. Politicians seem to be powerless to stop them, (unless of course, they are on their payroll!), & we continue to suffer.

So, who are our society’s biggest parasites? The damage done by militant unions was bad, but looking at the situation the bankers have landed us in it was just a drop in the ocean. As a society we should vilify these bankers just as the union leaders once were & make known our anger. Will it change them? I don’t think I’ll hold my breath!!

Imagine multiple underground forces at work in America while most Americans are sleeping. This underground force has been working for a number of years for the purpose of manipulating the public.

How can one know whether or not they have been manipulated? The only way one can know is to personally investigate everything. The news media cannot be trusted. Some of the news media are working in conjunctions with this movement.

Some of the politicians cannot be trusted either, for it appears that all they care about is being reelected. Therefore, don’t be surprise if you find out that there is a connection with this underground movement.

Examples of manipulation: In taking polls they work at it real hard to design the questions to enable them to get the results they want.

Journalist instead of focusing on things most important to the American people, they leave out certain things in order to keep the American people in the dark.

They will allow politicians to play the American people. For example, the politicians knew about those bonuses, and now they are put on a show. In my humble opinion, they are playing the American people. They knew about this since last year. Not to mention it was a contractual agreement. In addition, it represents less than one percent of the bailout package.

What the media should be doing, is in conjunction with their outrage about the AIG bonuses, is to compare it to the rest of the unnecessary spending in the stimulus package.

What about the almost 9000 earmarks? What about the 3.5 Trillion dollar stimulus? Why don’t the media report that there are alternatives solutions out there to the present stimulus bill? However, much of that money went to overseas banks?

I don’t like to be played. I am not interested in all of the drama that is going on right now with the Democrats and the Republicans.

As a result of all of this drama to draw the American people away from their failures (Congress), these forks who supposed to receive these bonuses are receiving death threats (at least that is what I am hearing).

Again this is what they do to distract the American people from what is actually is going on.

There are many more examples, just don’t let politicians or the news media shape your thinking for you, or deceive you into believing things that are not true.

Today more and more Americans has become lazy minded. We want everything instantly. Most people won’t spend the time in investigating the truth. We rather spend more time in being entertained. However, it will cost us in the long run. Just like that little convenient store on the corner. You don’t like going to the supermarket because it is inconvenient. However, instead of paying $2.50 for a gallon of milk you end up paying $3.85 for a gallon of milk.

Brainwashing in Religion

Have anyone just stopped and asked themselves this question? Why are there so many different churches in the world with all of it’s different doctrines or creeds?

Before Christianity there was one group during the time of Moses the Israelites. During the time of Christ they were called Jews. Nevertheless, during the time of Moses God gave Moses his instructions concerning that religion. However, when they decided to do that which was not authorized by God, sometimes it ended in death.

Many people today say that they are a Christian, however, they use a prefix in front of Christian. Is Christ divided? If they were following the bible they would be a Christian only without the prefix. The bottom line is, if the same book that they are suppose to be following says not to add or subtract, why are they doing it?

If the bible is the book Christians are going to be judged by, why are some following other doctrines?

Atheist also question Christianity because, to some of them God is being displayed as a Fairy Tale (which they like to use against Christians). They liken God to Santa Claus because he is said to be all knowing, he can be everywhere anytime, and his Elves are liken to that of angels.

The sad news in all of this is many will deny that they have or are being brainwashed. However, this is not unusual. There will always be brainwashers. There will always be Kool-Aid drinkers. Just don’t you be one!

Life must really be hard when they can get billions in executive bonuses. Here are some new ideas for bonuses that should be given to Wall Street executives:

Give them each a roll of toilet paper. Let them know how you feel about the job that they have done.

Give them each a roll of Tums. Let them know what their hard work has done to your stomach.

Give them each a model airplane. Let them know that this is the closest thing that they should have to a corporate jet.

Give them each a pail and shovel. Let them know how their decisions have put our economy into a hole.

Give them each a steam iron. Let them know that their decisions have left the public hot under the collar.

Give them each a leaky condom. Let them know that they have left our country unprotected.

Give them each a box of Teddy Grahams. Let them know that their actions have put us into a bear market.

Give them each a rubber chicken. Let them know that the public would like to pluck each feather from their hide.

Give them each a balloon with a pin. Let them know that their actions have busted our economy.

Give them each a red pen. Let them know that the stock market plunge has left many investors with a lot of red ink.

Give them each a deodorant stick. Let them know that they have left our country in smelly shape.

Give them each a piggy bank with a hammer. Let them know that they have broken our savings account. Also, let them know that their perks and bonuses make them look like over-indulged pigs.
