Nobody is exempted from this kind of feeling where you don't seem to want to do anything. It is called boredom. Everybody has some point in their lives that they feel bored. However, there is nothing positive that results from being bored. In fact, it's a hindrance to success and happiness. How do we beat boredom?

That’s the question that a lot of us needs to answer. The answer is not in terms of words but in terms of actions. We may write a whole book about how to beat boredom but if in our lives, we look bored, feel bored, and demonstrates a boring life, it doesn’t benefit us much. In this article, pardon me but I will be a bit personal because it’s what happened to me. I hope it can inspire someone and get something going on, without being bored in life.

There are two things that I would like to share so please bear with me.

First, boredom can be defeated, knocked down with spiritual truth!

Back in 1998, my life is so boring and it seems there’s no meaning in life. I have nothing to do so I went with my cousin in his invitation to a Baptist Preaching Service. Being my first time, I sat at the back. Oh my soul! My heart begun to burn when the Preacher started to preach about the love of God and how sinful I am, not deserving but He loved me so truly. I opened my heart to Jesus Christ that day and my life was never the same again.

Second, boredom can be defeated, knocked down with a passiionate purpose in life!

I was invited to a Business Opportunity Presentation back two years ago which we know it today as mlm business. As I sat and listened to the presenter drawing circles, explaining leverage, how I can achieve my financial goals in life, and how I can be a blessing to others, oh my soul! That was the first time I saw a system that ignites my purpose in life. All along, I want to be a blessing to others. This is the system I want to be part of. I want to achieve that purpose. It’s only now that I can see the means of achieving that goal.

To tell you honestly, I didn’t sleep much for two weeks thinking and planning how I can achieve financial freedom and be a blessing to others. From that day onward, there’s no day that I felt bored!

ONE of the four workers complain of chronic boredom while in office. They also switched to coffee and chocolate to lighten the day. Surveys conducted psychologist Sandi Mann describes boredom at work causing workers to lose concentration and lead to errors perform his duties. Boredom can also be the reason they are looking for a new job.

“My analysis showed a significant cause of boredom at work is a burden that does not necessarily work, so managers must begin to look at ways to reduce and address the source of boredom. For example, conduct enrichment programs such as job rotation, multi-skilling and empowerment. In addition it should also encourage ways-healthy ways to overcome boredom can include education or providing healthy snacks and drinks in the canteen, “explains Dr. Mann of the University of Central Lancashire as reported Dailymail.co.uk.

The research was presented at the annual psychology conference British Psychological Society in Chester, on Thursday (12 / 1).

Men are like children – they constantly need change.

Men are like children – they constantly need change. That’s why the ladies would have the heavy honor to make their life interesting. And indeed, there is nothing more detrimental to a relationship than boredom. Sometimes we feel like we’re talking to the wall, or as ourselves what we might have done to cause our man’s irritability… Yet things aren’t that complicated. Once we know what exactly he expects from us, we can make sure not to make the same mistakes twice. How can we do that?

1. No hysteria and commanding voices

Women often tend to fall into dramatic episodes and monologues. They can argue for hours with the same motives without noticing that their mate doesn’t even listen to them. The longer the boring whimpering, the bigger the chance is to achieve nothing but another big scandal.

2. Do not intrude and annoy

If you want to spend 24 hours a day with your loved one, don’t forget he might want to do completely different things, such as go to a football game, go out with friends or just watch the World Soccer Championship. Of course you are the most important part of his life, BUT NOT his whole life. You don’t need to be together all the time. Thus you will always be interested in each other and always will have a topic to talk about.

3. Do not try to change him

Once you have found the Man of your dreams, accept him the way he is. Any attempt to change his personality, habits or nature will be a failure and unnecessary as well. Besides such attempts will do no good to your relationship, but on the contrary – it may destroy everything good you have in it.

4. Be different

Take the initiative in your hands. Surprise your partner anytime you can, make romantic dinners or spontaneous picnics, whatever comes to your mind. The more different and surprising you are, the more interesting he will find you.

5. Giving him more space and independence will benefit you

Stop calling your partner every 10 minutes asking him numerous questions. A relationship is very hard to keep when one of the partners is constantly monitored, stalked and controlled by the other. Do not ever forget you are not his mother and nothing gives you the right to track every step he makes.

6. Don’t be jealous

Jealousy has always been a sing for uncertainty. Too much suspicions will only bring you troubles and unnecessary anguish. You can’t and you must not control every single look of the man you love because this can push him to do exactly what you fear of.

7. Do not tell your girlfriends everything that happens in your relationship

This is may be the most difficult rule but what happens in a relationship must stay inside this relationship. Besides, you don’t have to drag your man with you every time you meet your friends. It is statistically proven that your partner will not have fun at all in the best case scenario.

8. Don’t make him go shopping with you if he doesn’t want to

Usually, while shopping, half an hour later men get bored and start looking at their watch, hoping you will leave the mall as soon as possible. So the better option is not to make them come with you in the first place. Besides, men’s opinion is not something you can always rely on, because when they are bored, their only thought is how to end this exhausting procedure as fast as they can.

9. Don’t ask your partner what he thinks

In case the man is silent and looks sunk into his thoughts, leave him alone. This might be one of the rare moments when a man needs to stay alone with his thoughts and asking him what he thinks is probably the most annoying question at the moment, because he won’t know what to respond.

10. Don’t make him wait too long

There is no man who hasn’t been left by his good mood after one hour of waiting with hands in his pockets. Try to be more accurate if you don’t want to spoil the dinner or the weekend for that matter.

Of course all these advices don’t intend to make women servants or compliant, satisfying every caprice their partner might arise. It is all about mutual respect and individual needs each part in a relationship has, and their only intention is to provide some guidance for keeping a strong, stable and reliable relationship.

Having fun exploring new way to enjoy sex.

Hello there.

If you have a relationship with someone, and are have been having regular sex for a long time, things can become quite boring, right?

So when we reach that point where it becomes just another routine, how can we fight it and make it fun again? Well, there are a few things that can be done to bring back the spark to a dull sexual relationship!

1 – IMPROVE THE AMBIENCE

Never underestimate the power of a few well placed candles around the room. With a good illumination, some well placed pillows and nice aromas, sky can be just a little closer to the two of you when having sex. Scent candles are not expensive, and regular candles come in lots if you buy them in the right place. This little effort in the setup is guaranteed to bring her to a more open state of mind, making things far more interesting!

2 – SHARE YOUR DESIRES

Do you have an unfulfilled sexual fantasy hiding in a corner of your mind? Well, she might have one too, you’ll never know if you don’t talk about it. Be casual when approaching the subject, and show yourself available to hear her ideas out too. Having open minds always makes things much more interesting. Be it trying new positions, inserting things into new places, or even bringing someone else into the fun, all you have to do is talk and decide what gets you both going! Who knows what you might be missing if you don’t try?

3 – BE DIRTY!

Yes, be very dirty! Sex isn’t supposed to be all clean and controled. It’s meant to be wild, mundane! It’s supposed to be a moment when you are both exposed and take advantage of that to do things you normally wouldn’t! There will be fluids everywhere, there is going to be a lot of saliva exchanges… enjoy it! There is always the bathtub waiting for you after it is all over, so just give in to the moment and BE DIRTY.

4 – MASSAGES

You don’t need to be an expert in massages to give her a relaxing rub in the back. Lots of good sexual moments have started out with a massage, and with the body more relaxed, the mind will be more willing to try new things, too! Use your hands to explore her body thouroughly. Start on the back, go for the neck, then down to her legs and inner thights, and from there just let it roll. You’ll be having awesome sex in no time.

5 – DON’T BE AFRAID TO BRING IN TOYS

There are lots of sexual toys that can make things extremely more fun! Be it a pair of handcuffs, a new dildo or vibrator, a blindfold, or all that combined, you never know what new thrills you can obtain from using these little helpers in your wild sex sessions. Nothing better than trying. Go to the closest sex shop and find the ones that call out for the both of you, or make it a surprise.

And that’s all I can think of. In the end, if none of these gets you where you want to go, then I’m afraid you are fucking the wrong person.

Have fun!

Showed a new scientific study that being bored can be useful where it can be infected to participate more actively in community activities and cause them to search for new ways to participate in acts of charity that may be undesirable, such as blood donation, which makes their lives meaning and value of new leads to improve the psychological conditions in the end.
The newspaper The Guardian British newspapers Friday, May 6, citing Van Tilburg participants in a study that boredom makes people go to the activities and the value of purposeful and meaningful and thus receive anything in life smoothly and seek the meanings of value.

And the results of this study in contradiction with what indicated by previous studies that boredom is closely linked to hatred of a person’s life and his distaste for all that surrounds it, but this study revealed that anger and boredom may be two possible consequences for good beyond the negative results in earlier studies.

He told Tilburg, who view a summary of the study before the annual conference of the Society of Psychology British on Friday that people who feel bored quickly to have a sensitivity to everything, which explains the positive relationship between exposure to bored and aggressive behavior and aggression, anger, continued where he said, adding that being bored by people may benefit the society, unlike past studies that have emerged, which made it clear that boredom may lead its owner to the direction to some of the wrong behaviors such as gambling or the growth of aggressive behavior and assault on others.

The Tilburg it so when a person feels that his actions were not meaningless, it engages in the behavior of re-establishing the importance and value of what he does so it’s a coincidence that the sense of boredom drives its victims to search for jobs is fun, but of great help, such as blood donation and keep them away from engaging in any frivolous behavior does not make sense and then improve the psychological conditions in the end.

The newspaper also said conclusion reached by Adrian Savage, Editor in one training sites life is that when you walk around feeling bored within the human mind, it pays to think, because the feeling bored motivates a person always to think of it at this moment, we can not do anything but think, explaining that this feeling bored and boredom is what motivates these people who feel on the search for something they do best, which benefit the community.

When your bored and can't help going off task, or just have some time enjoy it!

You know there are a lot of things to do when there’s nothing to do! It’s really funny when you think about how much you do when you don’t. But lets try to brainstorm the most fun to do when we can’t just sit still at an office. Let’s not include those pesky electronics either. Hmm…you can always…

#1 PLAY PRETEND- Be an alien and try to conquer the minds of your co-workers or even your boss with a brain wave sent through your finger tips. -Fun until you run out of ideas.

#2 TAP- Take your hands or a pencil, or stapler, or a cup and tap out a rhythm then make it faster, then slower, then switch hands. -Fun for about 5 to 15 minutes or until someone gets annoyed.

#3 MAKE A TOWER- Take your papers, then your water bottle, then a plant, then whatever else you have at your disposal and try to touch the ceiling of your office. I bet you can’t! -Fun until you touch the ceiling!

#4 CONVERSE- Talk with your co-workers, but ask them if it is a good time to talk first otherwise you will interrupt their work. -Fun forever.

#5 WRITE- Start a journal or diary and write about your day, or your job, or recipes, or stories, write your heart and soul on the page or screen, then save it for later, you’ll laugh and embarrass yourself, or make yourself proud. -Fun for as long as you can make it last.

#6 READ- Find a good book or newspaper or magazine and enjoy what it says. Indulge in the works of others who spent hours writing small pieces or years on master works. Increase your vocabulary and experience stories of all kinds. -Fun 70% of the time.

#7 SLEEP- If you have a long enough break in your work then take some time off of your busy schedule and enjoy a nap. Dream a dream and sleep your self to sleep. -Fun… well who doesn’t like rest! But then again there’s plenty of time to sleep when you’re 6 feet under… right?

#8 DRAW- A picture is worth a thousand words so spit them out all over your medium and show your artistic talent. -Fun Yes it is!

#9 MAKE A GAME- Take a friend who is a co-worker and make a game. Be cowboys and commandos shooting each other up, or do like me and my pals and team up together to fight the awesome might of Mr. Radko aka Darth Vader. In the end Darth Vader got really into the game and killed us all, but it lasted for 4 days of backpacking so it worked out fine. -Fun 5 days to 3 months to Forever

#10 ADMIRE AND OBSERVE- Take some time to seriously look at your surroundings take note of every little thing. Yep I thought the same thing when I tried it “WOW”. -Fun for maybe 10 minutes.

Well that’s all for now next week I’ll try to publish another 10 things to do!

Adios mis amigos, The Yawn

PLEASE COMMENT, LIKE, AND FOLLOW!

How many times does one becomes bored, so here are some suggestions to get free from that boredom.

Pursue a hobby. My hobby (until it became a profession) was blogging … I would do it at work in my spare time, or before or after work. Not everyone can pursue their hobby at work — the model airplane glue might bother your coworkers, for example — but sometimes you can just read about it while at work. I was upfront about my blogging and freelancing at work with my boss, btw, but many people get away with doing it on the sly. I won’t make a recommendation, but just don’t get fired.

Make your work a game. You can make a game out of anything. See how many widgets you can crank in 10 minutes. Pretend that your coworkers are evil villains. Imagine that you are a CIA agent in disguise, and no one knows. Or a fairy princess. Whatever floats your boat.

Educate yourself. On Guam, this is called “edumacation” — it’s not a real word, but we like to play with English. Whatever you call it, you can improve your knowledge online in any area — whether that be work-related or not. Be your own college instructor. Wikipedia is a great place to start, but if you’re going to have a specialized knowledge in anything, branch out from there.

Improve your skills. Along the same lines: choose a skill that needs sharpening, and challenge yourself to get better at it. Whether that’s computer programming, writing, working with Adobe InDesign, or whatever. Perfect your skills — you can use it to further your career, get a new job, or become self-employed. Or just have the satisfaction of knowing you’re the best you can be at that skill.

Play Sudoku. Perhaps not the most intellectual game of all time, or the most exciting … but I still find it a lot of fun. I only played it a little while and didn’t get addicted like other people I know, but I have to admit it’s a fun way to pass the time.

Choose a soothing desktop picture. I like to do this when I’m procrastinating. I will go online, to flickr or some desktop wallpaper website and browse around until I find a very simple, soothing picture. I do this maybe every month or so. In fact, I’m going to go do that right now!

Do some pushups and crunches. If you’re bored, you might as well start getting in shape. You can do pushups and crunches right there on the floor next to your desk (or go outside if you’re worried about your coworkers seeing you). Or walk up some steps, or do squats and lunges without weights, or dips in your chair, or butt squeezes (that means squeeze your own butt, not your coworkers’).

Take a day or two off. Sometimes you just need to refresh yourself, recharge your batteries before starting again. Don’t do any work while you’re out. Veg out, or read, or sleep, or exercise, or whatever. Get your mind off work. Think about your priorities. Get out in nature. Reconnect with your life.

Take a walk. Often this is all I need, especially if I’ve been sitting all day and my blood is pooling up in my butt and legs. I need to get that blood circulating! Go outside, walk around, look at people, look at nature, think about your day and your life and the people in it.

Drink some water. Dehydration can make us tired and sluggish. Water can refresh us. Keep that water coming all day long — you may need to pee more though.

Call a loved one. What better time to call someone to catch up, to tell them you love them, to just say hi … than when you’ve got nothing better to do. It’s a nice way to stay connected.

Read. I like to carry a novel everywhere I go. Then I whip it out anytime I have spare time, waiting at the doctor’s office, in line at the post office, driving in the Indy 500 … you know. If not a novel, carry around a “to read” folder with stuff you want or need to read but don’t have time for right now … then whip it out at your desk when you’re bored. You could have a “to read” folder on your computer too.

Start writing your novel. Many of us have a novel that’s tossing itself around in our heads and hearts, waiting to come out. Well, start getting it out, mister. Just start by writing some notes, thinking about characters and plot and what the hell this book is about anyway. It’s not going to come out by itself.

Take a nap. If you don’t have a good place to do this, you can curl up under your desk with a sweater, or go to your car and sleep. I’ve learned how to fall asleep at my chair, but thank goodness I’m working at home and can go to the couch in a napping emergency.

Create a new project or role. If things are stagnating at work, start something new. Create and innovate. What can you do that has a lasting impact for your company and for yourself, for your career? If you’re stuck in a dead-end role, create a new role for yourself. It doesn’t matter if it’s not in the job description. Find something that’s not being done by someone else, something that needs to be done or that hasn’t been thought of yet, but that would really benefit the company — and take it upon yourself to do it. You might need to talk to your boss, but sometimes you can just start doing something and inform the higher-ups later. If it’s good for the company, and if they’re smart, they’ll be happy.

Write a love letter. If you have a significant other, write a letter telling them why you love them. They’ll love it. Email is fine, but pen and paper are even better.

Do one small thing to make yourself wealthier. That might be creating a savings account if you don’t have one yet, or setting up an automatic transfer between checking and savings every payday, or researching a money market fund or index fund, or simply reading Get Rich Slowly or The Simple Dollar for personal finance basics.

Write a blog post. This is something I love to do when things get slow. I’ll just call up a text file and start writing. I love lists, of course (you guys should know that by now), so often I’ll just start making a list, and writing down my thoughts. If things are really slow, I’ll do the whole blog post. I can always post it later if necessary. Make sure you love what you’re writing about.

Do an errand. This can either be in the office (“Where’s that ink cartridge I’ve been needing all week?”) or outside the office (“I really should buy toilet paper today!”). It gets you moving, it gets you away from the scene of your boredom, and it accomplishes something useful.

Update your personal finances. I used to track my finances through Microsoft Money, but I’ve since switched to using a Google spreadsheet, so that it’s online and accessible from anywhere. I considered other online solutions, but personally, I like to keep things as simple as possible. However you do it, it’s a good idea to update your financial tracking system once a week or so, so that you know where you stand and you don’t overspend. Got some spare time? Update.

Bored should not be an excuse for lazy work. you must act to eliminate boredom at the workplace.

You bored? Doing the same routine every day can definitely lead to boredom. It is natural that in a certain phase, an employee is saturated with his work. But of course, that’s no excuse for the lazy to work. You have to act so as not to saturate at the office. After all, you have to show professionalism in all circumstances. Perform the following actions to eliminate the saturation tone.

Clean Work Space
Clean the desk is believed to increase labor productivity. Instead of talking or doing things that are not important, better clean up your desk.

Changing the Wallpaper
Change wallpaper on your computer screen. Look for pictures that describe about your dreams. If you are good at making their own pictures, describe your goals. Changing the wallpaper can make you more eager to work.

Clean email inbox
Delete the email is not important, and move messages to a specific folder. Clean up email once read an email that has not had time to read, you can review the job and find a missed assignment.

Reading a book
To refresh your mind, read books or magazines. Read books that are positive. Who knows, the words that exist in books or magazines can give you the inspiration to do office tasks.

Walk around the office
Take a walk around the office building can cope with boredom. Breathe the outside air to freshen your heart and mind, at least for 10 minutes. Take time to say hello or smile to your colleagues.

Actually, you just need a break from routine switching. Clean work space is usually done by the office boy, occasionally you can do yourself. The picture on your computer monitor will make you always remember your target. The messages that have not read it might be something important but you have not read about in an email inbox. Get to know your co-workers of different departments to gather opinions directly, perhaps there are things related to your duties. Cheer up!
