The Articles of Confederations ultimately united the colonies and formed states, but had many downfalls because it could not effectively run and control a proper government.

The quote, “Britain’s wars for empire, far more than its mercantilist policies, dictated the economic fortunes of Britain’s North American colonies in the 18th century” is a valid statement. I feel that the wars affected the North American colonies more than mercantilism because winning the wars in North America represented wealth and opportunities while mercantilism only kept a steady flow of revenue.

Imperialism in India helped create an India that we know today. Imperialism brought many new things such as technology and medicine to help bring India to the modern era.
