The beautifully maintained buildings and nostalgic feeling is not all that Pitman has to offer. There is also everyday amenities like a pharmacy, computer repair shop, and a family owned Jewelry store which has also been there for years.  Downtown Broadway also boasts a nail salon, tattoo parlor, Irish store, as well as several consignment shops with wares and clothing.

There is a number of specialty shops on the well manicured short little strip like a; bridal shop, Portrait studio, bicycle shop,  gym, and a new facility where the exercise called zumba is taught? I am not exactly sure of what zumba is, but the members seem to be having a wonderful time while participating.  I am encouraging everyone to make a trip to small town Pitman New Jersey for a big city feeling.

This is the official wedding Kayte Walsh and Kelsey Grammer on Broadway has happened today, actually it was only some time ago. Couple tied the knot at the Longacre Theatre, which just happens the same theater that Kelsey had recently watched a production of musical La Cage AUX Folles.

After they became husband and wife, Kelsey and Kate went to the famous Plaza Hotel for the reception. The celebration will consist of a four-course meal, and I am sure that other fancy stuff shmancy. According to People.com Group is expected to go at any time of night. Who knew grammar knew how to party like a rock star, I think he should keep pace with his new wife, which is much much younger than he.

There were no photos released back into the bride and groom on their special day, but the statement made by Grammer did confirm that they are getting hitched. Although I do not have much faith that the serial marry the man Kelsey actually stayed married, I think his choice of wedding places was pretty cool. It is different and unique that hey, who does not like it.

Kelsey Grammar had a wedding on Broadway! He picked up his fourth bride. I’m sure, generous honeymoon in store for the new Mrs. and Mr. Grammar so stay tuned for more details on this, as well as detailed information on the ceremony itself.

    Brandon does have some big friends in Hollywood, producers and directors which definitely helped him land some roles in some big budget movies. It seems he has a niche audience for the younger generation/kids with his silly magnetism, but what has been consistently seen doesn’t make the grade to be critically acclaimed.

    He could learn a lot from stage actors but his new Broadway comedy entitled “Elling” playing at the Barrymore Theater doesn’t seem to be doing well. After the preview performance held on Nov. 2, a decision was made to close the production after only one week running.

    Nobody is saying Brandon Fraser is a bad guy, he is just a bad actor, but likeable. So how much longer will Mr. Fraser be given new roles are unknown but only to a few directors and producers, but without big numbers at the box office any actor’s acting days are numbered.

Montreal has a similar story to tell although we have not h ad the incredible event that people will remember from 2001. We have had city strikes just like our larger cultural neighbour and there is a sense that Montreal is a place for satellite offices and maintenance crews. Not a very inspiring image. Then there is the image of Montreal being cosmopolitan and attracting world events; it gives us a feeling of hope when we see investment dollars going to revitalize the area around Place des Arts.

Montreal and New York have a tradition of being able to host artistic events but there is a cloud of uncertainty in this Canadian city especially when the federal government makes it public that spending for the arts would be cut. It seems a pity especially when governments are also encouraging their citizens to spend so as to boost the economy. If it spent money already allocated for the development and renovation of artistic venues than its citizens would be curious enough to attend some of the events going on there.

Frankly the doubts about the cities not being as vibrant as they were in the past will be balanced out by new venues that will spring up in both places. It takes time to forget about past tragedies as it takes time for people to be encouraged enough to spend for theater and cultural shows as they did in easier economic times.
