On the first day of 1959 Fidel Castro led his 26th of July Movement to a popular revolution and so overthrew the Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista. Batista managed to flee from the island amid the chaos and celebration in the Cuban capital city of Havana. The US was left to debate how best to deal with the radical Castro amongst the rumblings of anti-Americanism being spread in Cuba.

Our society is plagued with cases of abuse against women. It is such a painful experience and I know it first hand. Infact the physical and sexual abuse I suffered and then the consequent recovery from its trauma, that has what prompted me to start writing. Therefore, it is only fitting for me to debut on Triond with my own story. I just hope that reading my story will motivate other girls like me to speak out and end the brutality they are facing.

Police abuse taser guns everyday. It truly needs to reported because there are law enforcement officers who able to make the right judgement call and use tasers properly. but if the problem get too bad, they may lose the tasers, and have to resort back to only deadly force. If you do not think it possible that tasers can be phased out, ask about the crown victoria being phased out, which is a much more expensive piece of equipment.
