Drugs, media, fame.

With the recent deaths of widely known people such as Michael Jackson, DJ AM, Anna Nichole Smith and others, it would seem that Hollywood and its vast followers would slow up on drug use, but it seems that the exact opposite is happening and no one is taking a stance to do it. Its almost as if the media and the government are condoning it. Everyone knows what the stars are doing, why not stop them? Just because they are famous does it give them some divine human right to do whatever they please? We throw common men away for months, if not years over a bag of marijuana, But celebrities such as Jackasses Steve-o can dangle a bag of marijuana in front of police officers and nothing happen? When is someone going to take a step back and say this is wrong and we need to stop it. Celebrity’s, Government and the Media influence the nation, This supposed “War on Drugs” seems to be getting no where fast. When we condone the behavior of people like Steve-o we are also condoning the people reading the tabloids to act just as their favorite stars do. We are getting no where.
