For something sporting an attractive price point, you can’t knock the the design of the LG Optimus T since is follows accordingly like any other touchscreen device before it. In fact, we’re more than surprised with the level of quality it exhibits – like the all around soft touch coating and faux-pas chrome bezel. Average in size (0.52” thick) and weight (4.55 oz), the handset doesn’t scream the industrial designs of some big name handsets, but it’s more akin to some of LG’s line of feature phones – like the LG Sentio and Encore. Overall, we’re content with its construction as it feels solid all around and better built than some other smart phones out there.

One of the advantages to using this budget cell phone is the vast amount of features this cellular device provides. Internet capabilities are available, but in order to access the web, you must include a web service in your cell phone plan. The LG Optimus T has access to the Android Market, which gives you hundreds of apps to enhance your budget cell phone. If you have web capabilities, you can access email accounts and send or receive personal or work related emails.

There are several multimedia features available on this cell phone. These include a music player where you can store, organize and listen to your favorite songs and artists. FM radio capabilities are another addition to the music player, along with a 3.5mm audio jack so you can plug in and listen to whatever song you want, at the volume you like, without disturbing those around you. The device also has the ability to store and watch videos on the 3.2-inch display screen.

The LG Optimus T features a 3.2MP (megapixel) camera that captures fairly crisp and vivid pictures. For a camera available on a mobile device, we were impressed with the sharpness of the photos it took. The camera also has the ability to capture video and play back the recording directly on the phone.

Aside from all the advanced features this cell phone possesses, it also includes basic multitasking options. These features include a calculator, alarm clock and calendar. This cell phone also provides Bluetooth and GPS capabilities to enhance the device.

Overall this cell phone is okay, it does have some functunal problems, like it freezes, some apps don’t work. Overall this is a 6/10 cell phone.

We use electricity to power almost everything that we use and we can’t really do anything to change this unless you were to make your entire house run on solar power. But there are little things that we can do to limit the amount of money we spend on this bill, turn off all appliances whenever they are not in use and you could also unplug them as well because even if the appliance is not on it is still using stand by power. This can really make a difference on your bill as well as switching you light bulb to the low energy fluorescent bulbs.

Another bill that is often high is our phone bills. Now almost everyone has a cell phone and most of the time we have unlimited cell phone to phone minutes. As well our landlines normally have unlimited landline to landline calls, strictly use you cell phones only to call cell phones and your landline only to call landlines and this should drastically reduce both your phone bills. These few tips along with using a few coupons and buy some store brands at the supermarkets can save you over $1000 a year on household bills.

                I sound like an idiot when I say I went to every site, I had to then take that site and see how many scams were out there. I sat up sleepless nights. Then I found a risk. This has nothing to do with what I am about to show you, But I went online set up shop and got my adds to every classified add sites in the world. I went to Ireland, America, all the worlds classified add sites and posted my information out there and tweeted it and blogged it and stumble upon them.

                Low and behold in 2 weeks I had my thousand dollars to pay the electric bill. Ok so now I told you this because it is possible, But I like what I’m doing now so I’m not changing.. But for you new comers there are cell phones.

                There are over 5.5 Billion cell phone users in the world. That’s a pretty hefty market. There is proof, I do not think that the news would even post this story if it were a fraud. Now cell phones are an easy market. So many times in a day people are texting, talking, browsing, they are literally glued to their phones. Now these step by step would tell you how to do this.

                Business is all about the number, if you have the numbers it is easy. Think math. Now there are drop outs doing this, is what you are saying is your dumber than a high school drop out? I hope not. That really means our future is done for. Check out the link see for yourself.           When I was growing up in Chicago in the 1940s I wrote school reports in long hand, listened to the radio for entertainment, had a telephone number with a name and just four numbers (ours was Wellington 2272) and paid five cents for a candy bar.  There were no cell phones, computers, Ipods, Smart phones except maybe in science fiction.

        Today, there are so many new things, things that weren’t even dreamed of  fifty years ago.  I wonder all the time …what next?  What seemingly impossible things will be commonplace in the future?  I try to think, what else could there possibly be?   What do we need or what would we like?    I’ve come up with a few ideas; I hope someone remembers, fifty years from now (when I’m not around anymore) that I thought of them first. 

        Cars and places to park them are a big issue today; there are more and more cars everyday and finding a parking place is next to impossible in some locations (like Miami Beach where I live)    The solution?  Cars will have a  little button on the dashboard;  push the button and the car miniaturizes, becomes a third of it’s size so it  can easily slide into a tiny parking space. Push it again and the car returns to normal size.

           Another parking solution would  be Airborne parking.     Every driver will have a sort of clicker or gadget, click it and the car rises up into the air and hovers over the street, sort of parking in space.  When it’s time to leave, click again and the car comes down to the street.  I don’t know   how cars in space will avoid crashing into each other but that’s a detail which can, I’m positive, be worked out .

            Gasoline is getting more and more expensive so cars will operate on “urine” power instead of gasoline.  Why not use a natural product like urine to power cars?  There has to be a way and there is never ending supply of the product

           Finally, someone will invent   a Facelift Pill.   No more surgery, cutting, shots, needles, creams.  Just take this little pill and voila, a smooth, unwrinkled, tight (but natural-looking ) face

                 Do these things sound silly, impractical, the stuff of dreams?      Well, I think it’s impossible  that I’m  sitting on the beach in Florida talking on a cell phone to my son in France and  listening to one hundred and two songs on an instrument small enough to fit into the palm of my hand and posting a message to my friend in Seattle and getting an instant reply but, I’m doing them  so I think anything else is possible.

                One must wonder how we did without, but we did! Now so many rely on their cell phones to get their emails, use it as a GPS, and the younger generations use it for games and music. Yet for me I look at the cell phone as a tool, I use it to make calls, and to text; today kids don’t call back, they text back!

                Today there are so many carriers, on the east coast we have Verizon, AT & T, Cingular, and T-Mobile to name a few; yet cell phones can become expensive. To save money I try to hook up with a company that works well, and many of my friends and family use; for me it is Verizon.  While many say Verizon is expensive, I don’t lose many calls, most of my friends and family use this company; and if they don’t I can add up to ten numbers that I use frequently; and it acts as if they are in my network.

                So remember, look at the fine print, look to see what those you speak with the most are using; because dropped calls is not something to be concerned about because all the networks are preventing that to happen, saving money is what it is all about today.

                I pay one fee, and I can deep on that staying constant. Why? Because I know who to call, when to call and who to add to my friends and family, so do a little leg work and find out what works best for you and your budget.

Switching Phone Companies. Look at Wirefly Online Discount Stores

After several months of research on cell phone devices and carrier plans, I bit the bullet and Switched carriers with a deal on cell phones. 

This was a pains taking ordeal knowing the cost of my phone bill was going to increase. I need new cell phones and wanted internet connection, but my primary device is a Mac computer to research the internet. Using a cell phone didn’t make sense at first but after research, the latest cell phones are computers! The price of these cell phones are affordable with a two year commitment to a carrier. That is where my trouble lyres, I did not want a phone company to control my life, but as Lillie Tomlin said,,,,”But sir we are the phone company, and I’ll send a brute over to check your lines”. We don’t have to worry about a service man coming to your house these days, but the phone company does have control of your wallet for two years.

 Which company has the best plan and devices? There are too many options to choose from and they all get confusing after a while. I looked at prepaid services which my son had for a year, the service was good at the start but went down hill after that and the devices for prepaid are second rate phones. All the small carriers are at the mercy of the large companies as they have to use their towers and get phones from large manufacturers. Another problem, major cell companies phones are different from prepaid carriers, they may be the same brand and model but prepaid phones don’t have the same processors as premium carriers.

The online discount companies have the best offer on cell phone devices right now. The large discount stores like Best Buy are not offering discounts and it looks like the major phone companies are using these online companies to attract lose customers. 

 Worked for me. An online company called “Wirefly” is offering big discounts on the latest and fastest cell phone devices on the market with all the major carriers. No discounts on service, but saving a lot of money on the devices and that sold me on where to buy my phones.

Sprint is offering the most service for your money if you use the everything data plan. Who makes calls any more when everything you want to do is online. My local Sprint store has never heard of Wirefly and said that online stores was a: “too good to be true” deal. Wrong! I paid $79,99 for a Samsung Galaxy II Epic and $9.99 for a HTC EVO on a Sprint family everything data plan($). Sprint stores wanted $199.00 for the Galaxy II and $99.00 for the HTC phone with the same plan($). I’m paying the same amount for the phone plan,($) but I saved a bundle on the devices by making a deal online.

The Wirefly has come true on everything They said they would do. My phones arrived as schedule, the price was as advertised, and the android phones are great. This solved my problem of getting online when I need to check accounts.

You’ve probably seen the commercials. Someone is relaxing comfortably at home or at some out of the way spot.

Suddenly they remember about a check in their pocket that they need to deposit in their bank. Slowly they get up and get ready to drive off when they remember they don’t have to drive anywhere. They can just take a picture of the check with their smartphone and óila they are able to deposit the check without having to go anywhere. How convenient!

Several banks and financial institutions are offering the high-tech method of doing your banking and they are advertising heavily to get people to join the ranks of the smartphone intelligencia. Their commercials show, for example, newly weds who deposit their gift checks while lying in bed. Or the snoozing guy in a chaise lounge who is discomfited because he’ll have to get up to go to the bank but is so happy when he remembers that he doesn’t have to go anywhere as long as he has his cell phone handy.

Poll Results Suggest Safety Is An Issue

To what degree would you be willing to send your deposits to your bank via your smartphone? Well, much to the banks’ chagrin perhaps, a majority of respondents to an exclusive poll conducted via Toluna.com (you can vote by clicking here) say thanks, but no thanks. In fact, it wasn’t even close. Almost 59 percent of respondents said they would not be comfortable using their smartphone to make deposits, thinking it would not be safe. Barely 12 percent said they would feel safe sending their checks electronically via their cell phone. Almost 30 percent were not sure or had no opinion.

While not many people think positively about the idea, there is plenty of effort being expended to get customers to go electronic.

Account holders with banks throughout the world are offering the service as well. Chase Bank seems to be the most aggressive – that’s the bank that is airing most of the television commercials you see about the service. Most of the banks that offer the service, however, do set limits on the amount of a check that can be deposited in this fashion, or the total amount per month that can be deposited in this way. Chase has a limit of $1,000 per check and $3,000 a month total. And, the service is not free – something that Chase and other banks are not all that upfront about telling you when you see the commercials. Rates vary, but they are generally in the range of 45 cents for each cell phone-based deposit.

While the popularity of check deposits via cell phone may be slow to catch on, you can bet the habit will expand. After all, banking via any form of electronic device or method is cheaper for the banks than maintaining brick-and-mortar stores with real tellers. And getting a few cents per check deposit, along with increasing charges for things like using your checking account or debit card, is the wave of the future. The wave being finding more ways to get your money into their pockets.
