What’s The Story Behind Halloween?

The word itself, "Halloween," truly has origins within the Catholic Church. It comes from a contracted corruption of All Hallows Eve. November 1, "All Hollows Day" (or "All Saints Day"), could be a Catholic day of observance in honor of saints. however in fifth century BC, in Celtic eire, summer officially ended on October thirty one. the vacation was known as Samhain (sow-en), the Celtic New year.
