The death penalty is a controversial issues in politics and society. In this article, I explain when execution should be used, and when it should not be used. Not every killing is a murder, but every murder is a killing.

There is no case against the death penalty. Anyone who thinks it is cruel and unusual to use capital punishment must not realize that the one who first committed murder was cruel and unusual, and the person they killed was innocent of murder. The constitutional lines are blurred in my opinion.

Murder comes in several forms. It can be premeditated, occur as the result of another crime like robbery, be accidental, such as manslaughter in a fight, or it can be disgustingly gory and downright horror movie-style evil. I only advocate the death penalty for intentional murder. If someone planned and murdered someone, execute them without a blink. If they confess to cold-blooded killing, then don’t keep them alive with taxes either.

Now it should be stated, the death penalty should not be used for all murders. There are different types of murders. The death penalty for killing someone because you crashed while drinking and driving is a different type of murder than someone who walks into a school and opens fire on everyone they see after an elaborate plan.

Another example of a difference is if someone is involved in a fist fight, and one of the fighters falls and hits his head on a rock. Our justice system will call this manslaughter, not premeditated murder. It was not a purposeful murder, such as a man who enters his ex-wife’s home and then murders her and her new boyfriend. Manslaughter is a complicated form of accidental killing that is not in cold blood.

In the movie “Con-Air” with Nicholas Cage, he goes to prison for seven years for killing a man in a bar fight by using deadly force he learned in the military. This is not murder, but manslaughter. People often fail to understand the difference between cold-blooded killers like Charles Manson, and those who accidentally killed someone in self-defense or shot off a gun to scare someone, but accidentally hit them. In a case where a gunshot is fired around a person during a burglary, I think life in prison is the way to go.

People often believe that the death penalty is a slow process, and are right, it is. Instead of all these appeals, I say execute now. A premeditated murderer without remorse purposefully decided that someone’s life needed to end. It’s only fair to treat them the same. Not only will we be saving tax money by eliminating a killer, but all the “slow mental anguish” of that “poor murderer” will be gone. Inject them with a tranquilizer and they will die in a painless way. I doubt many murderers thought to make sure the people they killed died painlessly.

Failure to distinguish between real murderers and their accomplices, and those who didn’t necessarily kill someone is the reason the death penalty is such a debate. I will add that there are also many innocent people in prison. The justice system is a flawed system. Remember it is the judge, jury, and lawyers who are responsible for that innocent man in prison. For that reason, I would never vote guilty on a jury in a murder case. My belief, is it should not be up to random citizen juries in murder trials.

Honestly, can a life in prison be better than just dying? Personally, prison rape, gang beat-downs, and using a toilet with no seat sounds worse than lethal injection to me. Suicide is always an option that will quickly get you put into solitary confinement and a meeting with a psychiatrist.

There will never be a general consensus on the death penalty. In cases where a serial killer happily confesses, it should be a no-brainer for the justice system. Other cases, do not warrant capital punishment.

Bio of Charles Manson.

Born in Kentucky in 1934. Unwanted child of a prostitute. He spent his childhood and youth in homes, was a sickly child, exposed to alcohol, drugs, prostitution and abuse. When I was 18, he began to commit theft of money and cars. He was detained for a time, and had to perform work in institutions. In 1954 he married and had a son, but their marriage did not last long. Regrasó to jail in 1960 for fraud and auto theft. He left in 1967 and moved to San Francisco. CA., Where he started a commune of hippies which he called “the family.” Consisted mainly of women. San Francisco moved into an abandoned movie studio in Hollywood. CA., In this place were held orgies and drugs circulate freely between the family, especially LSD. After a while, the family had about 40 members, led by Manson.

Manson always had the dream of becoming a rock star, but the rejection she received from producers and other personalities, she began to hate people with money, especially celebrities.

In July 1969, Bobby Breausolei, Susan Atkins and Mary Brunner (family members), killed a record producer surnamed Hinman, all on orders from Manson.

On August 9, 1969, Manson sent Tex Watson, Patricia Krenwinkel, Susan Atkins and Linda Kasabian, family members, home of Roman Polanski a very famous director. That night at the home of Polanski, was Sharon Tate – Polanski’s wife – Her friend Abigail Folger Frykowsky her boyfriend Voytek, and stylist Jay Sebring. Also at the house, Steven Earl Parent, who was a friend of master keys to the house. Something worth mentioning is that Sharon Tate was eight months pregnant.

Family members, killed all who were in the house.
Sharon Tate received 16 knife wounds, some were in the heart, lungs and liver, it goes without saying that the baby she died with her. Abigail Folger, died of 28 stab wounds, her boyfriend Voytek Fykowskyrecibió two shots, 13 shots in the head and 51 with knife wounds. Jay Sebring was shot and stabbed 7. Finally, Steven Earl Parent, received 4 shot .22 revolver, when he was in his car. As a last detail, the family members wrote the word “PIG” – with the blood of the victims – a door.
The next day, Manson repeated his feat of manipulation, sending 6 members of his family home of businessman Leno LaBianca and his wife Rosamary to kill them.

Leno was killed by 26 stab wounds and his wife received 41. This time, write in two walls of the room where the couple was murdered, the words “DEAD TO PIGS”, “RISE” and at the door of the refrigerator “healt Skelter.”

Time before these two cases of homicide, arrested and imprisoned Breausolei and Brunner, who blame Manson for the murder of Hinman, so went to find relationships between the Tate and LaBianca cases.

On 1 September 1969, a boy named Steven Weiss, playing near a lake, when they found a .22 caliber revolver, the same that had been used to commit crimes. In addition, they found traces digittales several family members in parts of the crimes.

Already had sufficient evidence and testimony, to convict Manson as the mastermind of all murders, yet some members of the family remained loyal to Manson, defending.

Manson and members of the family that resulatrón defendants were sentenced to death, but later, the death penalty was abolished in the state.

Currently Manson and his family remain in jail.

Lunatic murderer Charles Manson broke the silence after 20 years and even when interviewed was 40 years in prison at his sentencing. He became famous for the appalling crimes he committed in 1969.

Peak is that in this interview given by telephone to Vanity Fair, The Daily Mail picked up the killer spoke about global warming. The famous killer began pleading for the environment, behind bars, talking about “bad things” that people make in this “environment”.

“God is in everything, and if we wake up in time there will be no seasons, because the poles are melting because of us and we do bad things in the atmosphere” – Charles Manson said.

“And this will happen if this change is not urgent, and I mean right now as we speak, if we do not care who butcher the trees ..” – He added.

Charles Manson, aged 76, was described as “a bad guy who killed people,” referring to the eight people he killed, among whom was pregnant wife of director Roman Polanski Sharon Tate.

He also referred to the “disciples” that he urged her to commit crimes: “They live in a world of depth. Do not tell people what to do. And they know themselves what they’re doing. If you do not know what to do, then do not blame me for being bad, very bad. ”

Mixing English with Spanish language (interview was granted Fanity Fair magazine in Spain, no), the killer continued his “confession:” I’m in an arena with the bulls. I run into an arena, with the heart to the world. I I’m not playing. I kill people.’m not too bad. I’m an outcast and a criminal. I’m everything I mean ‘bad’. not bad grass never dies “- he concluded.

Charles Manson is currently incarcerated in a prison in California, and the last interview given to TV stations in the United States was in 1987.

“You must accept yourself as God. You have to realize that you are the devil, in the same way that you and God. You’re everything and nothing. Europe is the United States as much as the United States are America and America is Europe. ” – He said in an interview for Vanity Fair Spain, taken by The Daily Mail.

Manson’s lawyer Giovanni Di Stefano is. It recently asked Barack Obama to release him on criminal and criticized, however, the U.S. president. Featuring himself as “a slave to Wall Street,” said Charles Manson: “I think Obama is an idiot for doing what. Others are playing with him ..” Di Stefano’s clients included were the former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, and Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic, on trial for war crimes.

The death sentence was commuted to Charles Manson in prison for life after California abolished the death penalty.

History, America needs to keep it in mind.

1. September 11,2001

This one is @ the top of my list for obvious reasons. We still remember, we were shaken, but re-emerged from this moment a more United nation.

2. The Election of Barack Obama.

Amid celebration by many, there was also a lot of tension. Whether you are a supporter or critic of America’s first African-American President, you have to nonetheless admit we’ve come quite a ways since Reverend King’s “I have a Dream” speech.

3. The Manson Family murders: This one tore the facade of innocence away from the American “hippie” movement and was the final nail in the coffin of the 1960’s.

4. The Civil War: Turned brother against brother, son against father, and left the country divided. To add a chilling insult to injury it is also what led up to the assassination of Lincoln.

My dear fellow Americans this country needs to keep in mind it’s history. Progress the good, don’t repeat the bad, draw whatever lessons you can from these events and others.

When we hear the term "psychopath", we tend to think of people like Charles Manson and Ted Bundy, the mass murderers and serial killers we see on the news. But most psychopaths seem like regular folks; they blend into normal society and can be termed as "socialized psychopaths" or sociopaths. Generally, you can't identify one until you've gotten to know them quite well.

Have you ever sat in total bewilderment, mulling over some of the things your significant other, friend or co-worker has done or said? Do you find yourself often wondering how they can be so totally oblivious to the pain they cause others or seem so cold and uncaring about what others are going through? It may be that you are involved with a sociopath (or socialized psychopath). Before you get yourself worked up, I must say that sociopaths are generally not potential mass murderers, but a close professional or personal relationship with a psychopath will likely be damaging to the other individual.

Sociopaths are often difficult to spot because they have learned to mimic feelings and emotions by observing those around them. They have a good idea of how most people will react to a certain situation, so they will react in that manner. Without the advantage of watching others, they would have no idea of how to interact with their fellow human beings.

One of the more obvious characteristics of a sociopath is that they give the impression of talking “at” you and not to you. You are really not important, and it doesn’t matter if you are interested in what they have to say. They just have the need to unload their vast “knowledge” on someone and you happen to be the most convenient. They are very self-important, and are willing to use and manipulate others to achieve their own selfish goals. They feel entitled to certain things and have no qualms about lying, cheating or stealing to get those things. In a sexual relationship, you are treated much like a cardboard cut-out or blow-up doll; you are just an object for their personal gratification and your likes or dislikes matter not at all to them.

The next big tip-off is the sociopath’s inability to emotionally connect with others. Sympathy, empathy, and remorse or regret for mistreatment of others are all lost on the sociopathic individual. He (or she) cannot understand your pain or sadness, and any attempt to display emotion or sympathy will come off as contrived and very unconvincing. This is especially true when your emotional turmoil comes at a time that is inconvenient for the sociopath. That is to say, your feelings and need for sympathy are interfering with the things the sociopath is trying to accomplish. Typically, the sociopath wants you to feel sorry for him instead, so that he can use it to his advantage.

Since your garden variety sociopath doesn’t spend much time dealing with feelings or relationships (which take up much of a “normal” person’s time), he is often bored and, therefore, needs constant stimulation. He needs to be going somewhere or doing something all the time. Sometimes this leads to the sociopath taking unnecessary risks in order to garner some excitement in his life. Also, the less time spent being concerned about people and their problems gives the sociopath more time to plot, plan, and scheme about how to get what he wants from his victims.

The sociopath is a natural “taker”. He is never a giver unless, ultimately, the giving results in someone feeling obligated to him. He has no problem leeching off those who care about him. All aspects of life, to the sociopath, are viewed as games to be won at any price.

To date, there are no real treatment options. Most psychologist agree that therapy makes them worse because they use the therapeutic interactions to learn more about human vulnerabilities they can then exploit. They learn how to manipulate better and they learn better excuses that others will believe. The best advice to date is this:

If you are in a relationship with a sociopath; get out as quickly as possible. For a list of traits associated with a sociopath, follow this link:

Charles Manson, his life was caused by a train wreck of things that happened, but he is still guilty, and still in prison where he should be, but even at age 75, he still has followers...Amazing...

Charles Manson and Three of his women followers were convicted in Los Angeles of murder and conspiracy in the 1969 slayings of seven people including actress Sharon Tate.

Charles Mason Born November 12, 1934

His death sentence was automatically commuted to life imprisonment, when a 1972 decision by the Supreme Court of California temporarily eliminated the state death penalty.

In Manson’s Life he had been traded for beer by his mother, to a childless woman that wanted to be a mother.

He spends much of his time in prison, upon release he married and tried to settle down with Rosalie Jean Wills, which gave birth to their son while imprisoned again. She ironically called the Son Charles Manson Jr. Manson was in prison during the time she was pregnant. While he was in prison, he was visited by his Mother and wife.

Actually Manson’s Life was a train wreck, sentenced to prison again, his wife divorces him and was living with another man, with the hopes of marrying him, and making him the step father to their son.

He was released again from prison, and met another young woman, that turned tricks for him, so that they could live off the money. Again a child was born to him and the prostitute Leona, and they name the Son Charles Luther.

And Jailed again, But upon release this time was granted permission to move to another state, Manson chose San Francisco, he started panhandling to get by, and soon met another woman, and she became the first of 18 that
lived with him or actually them.

Manson was one of a kind; he had turned himself into a Guru and with many followers which were mostly women.

Then a freak meeting with Dennis Wilson of the beach boys, who picked Manson up hitchhiking, invited Mason to his home, Manson would come to Wilson’s house sometimes with as many as 12 strangers, mostly women.

But in the moment up and left and moved to Spahn Movie Ranch, the ranch had been used many times in Television, and movies sets. People actually lived in the house, But Manson and his women followers, made their home with the blind 80 year old George Spahn. Manson ordered his followers to please this man, and they lead him around like Seeing Eye dogs. One of the women was “Squeaky” Fromme, and she obtained the nick-name by being pinched by George Spahn.

They moved time and time again, and Manson met many along his path.

And for the Murders he is still in prison, it seems that he doesn’t have the spunk he had before, but I bet he would still has those women bowing at his feet…

He is approx. 75 or so today, had been denied parole, and for the crime, I do believe he should always be denied.

Lynette Alice Fromme, also known as ‘Squeaky’ was sentenced to spend the rest of her life behind bars as she was found guilty by a federal jury in Sacramento, California in December 1975 for the attempt on the life of US President Gerald R Ford.

On September 5th of the same year, a secret service agent had to wrestle a semi-automatic .45 –caliber pistol away from Fromme. She had brandished the weapon during the public appearance of the US President in the Californian city of Sacramento. Fromme was a follower of cult leader Charles Manson who himself was incarcerated at that time. The loaded gun was pointed at the president when the agent removed it from her grasp.

Seventeen days after the arrest of Fromme a second attempt was made to assassinate the US President Ford. This time 45 year old Sara Jane Moore fired a revolver at him. The leftist radical had once served as an informant for the FBI and had a history of mental illness. She was arrested at the scene and later convicted to serve a life sentence.

At her trial, Fromme pleaded not guilty to the charge of the attempted assassination of a president. She argued that although her gun was loaded it had not been cocked, and therefore she had not actually intended to shoot the president. She was convicted, sentenced to spend the rest of her life in prison and was sent to begin that sentence at a federal Correctional Institute in West Virginia.

Fromme remained a dedicated disciple of Charles Manson during her incarceration and in December 1987 she escaped from the facility in West Virginia and remained free for the next 40 hours. She roamed the rugged hills of West Virginia and was recaptured on Christmas Day just two miles from the prison. For the escape she had an additional five years added to her life sentence.
