Children should activate their academic apprenticeship at a actual aboriginal age and should absorb a lot of of their time on academy studies. Others accept that adolescent accouchement should absorb a lot of of their time playing.

People apprentice through their absolute lives. Curiosity was consistently the basal appropriate of a animal being. We consistently wish to breach banned and apprentice more. At this point some humans anticipate that accouchement should activate their academic apprenticeship at a actual aboriginal age and absorb a lot of of their time on academy studies. This will advice them to accomplish in the future. However, for several reasons, I anticipate that accouchement should not abstraction at a actual aboriginal age.

Of cause, accouchement who activate to abstraction at a actual aboriginal age accept added affairs to accomplish in the future. They accretion added adeptness and acquaintance which are priceless and valuable. In addition, belief added now they will accord them the befalling to absolute their adeptness in the approaching and become bigger professionals.

However, I anticipate that every adolescent accept to accept his or her childhood. Accouchement should apprentice through arena and advice with their accompany and parents. I anticipate that such basal qualities as kindness, aplomb and just a acceptable faculty of amusement can not be acquired from studying. Accouchement should added time absorb with their family, arena and acquirements with their parents. Imagine that a adolescent instead of arena with his accompany does his appointment and feel beat and tired. Another important aspect of this is that accouchement at their aboriginal ages charge added exercise because at this age the development of their physique is a actual capital aspect. Accouchement aboriginal of all accept to be healthy.

To sum up, I anticipate that accouchement should accept their absent-minded adolescence with no responsibilities. Moreover, I am abiding that arena helps them advance not alone their basic and anatomy but their adeptness to accomplish decisions, assay things, accomplish conclusions, which is actual acceptable for their future.

I wish I could become a child again because that is the only way I would be able to see her. I remember those small things I used to do as a child while she did every thing for me.

Mother’s day

I miss my mother so much and think in terms of going back to my childhood to see her once again. You know she forgets every problem while she looks us happy. She looks every dream for us. She teaches us as a teacher does. She trains us like a good coach. I hope we never forget her who has taught us every thing. She is the only one whom we owe every thing we own. Oh, how I wish I become a young one again and sit in my mother’s lap.

I want to go back to my childhood and think about my mom the way I used to behave when I was a small one and whenever she scolded me for my naughty acts. However, I know it now that she was never angry inside. She was always thinking for our well-being. Because a mother can only think in just one way and that way leads us to good habits only.

Mother’s day brings so many old memories back to me while I used to do so much for her seeing her doing every thing for me. I remember an old incident when I prepared a cup of tea for her and she was so happy to see do me that because I was only eight years old then. She became so sentimental to see me bring a cup of tea for her that she could not stop her tears of joy.

Mother’s day first celebrated in US while Ana Jarvis daughter of famous social worker Anna Maria Jarvis did a campaign in the memory of her mother. Later this day was declared as mother’s day. Now most of the countries celebrate second Sunday of May every year as mother’s day.

It certainly seems that kids over here in the UK aren’t. More and more children are still in nappies/diapers at the age of five when they start primary school which means that teachers and other school staff are spending less time teaching and carrying out their employment duties, but taking on a “nanny role”.

The problem doesn’t just stop with children not being toilet trained. School staff say that even the most basic life skills are lacking in many school age children. Some are unable to change their clothes for gym classes or indeed take off and put on coats unaided.

A lot of teachers say that parents these days don’t train their children because they’d rather pass the buck and feel it is an “education” issue and so should be dealt with by teachers. Other teachers feel that parents are too busy with their own lives to spend the necessary time teaching their children these basic skills.

A poll has recently taken place in the UK by Education and Resources for Improving Childhood Continence and the Association of Teachers and Lecturers whereby 850 primary school teachers were targeted. Of those 850 teachers, around 66% of them said there had been an increase in the number of pupils wetting or soiling themselves throughout school hours, and an incredible 71% working with kindergarten children (aged 3-5) had noticed an increase. In fact, some schools even felt the need to set up parenting workshops to teach mums and dads how to toilet train their kids!

Of the teachers that were taking part in the poll, one said that there were three incontinent children in his/her classroom and it was necessary for nappies to be changed sometimes up to nine times a day. Another said that with disposable nappies becoming more absorbent children don’t feel uncomfortable so they don’t feel any need to hold back when nature calls! Others commented that, in general, children were becoming less independent and needed help with the most basic tasks.

Back in the 1960s when I was born, it was recommended that children should be potty trained as soon as they could sit up relatively unsupported. Parents across the UK were encouraged by GPs and midwives to place a potty on a towel on their laps and then the child should be placed on the potty facing the adult. Each time the child managed to go to the toilet then he or she should be rewarded with smiles, cuddles, kisses and kind words! Once the child was strong enough to support him/herself safely then the potty should be moved onto the floor but still the child should receive encouragement. Eventually the child should learn that it’s good to use a potty.

Once the child reached an age where it could communicate, it was slowly introduced to communicating in simple language that it needed to go to the toilet. My mother assures me that both my sister and I were fully potty trained and out of nappies before we were 18 months old. We obviously had the odd accident but, on the whole, we were pretty clean.

Of course, back in the 1960s, most mothers wanted to wean their kids off the nappy trail because they were the terry towelling type which had to be soaked in a bleachy solution in laundry buckets which were fitted with lids so that the smell of the dirty nappies and/or the bleach was restricted, and then the nappies were washed properly and dried almost on a daily basis. Changing them wasn’t terribly easy either – holding onto a baby’s constantly moving body whilst juggling nappy and safety pins and, at the same time, ensuring the nappy wasn’t too loose or too tight!

My mother always maintained though that she got into a daily routine when it came to nappy washing and she took pride in seeing a long line of sparklingly white nappies hanging on her linen line!

Today of course, there’s no washing necessary and no difficulty with folding the nappies and safety pinning them. Modern disposable nappies can be velcroed around the baby or, as the child becomes older, these nappies are replaced with elasticated water proof underpants, so there’s no real incentive for parents to train their kids in toilet habits.

However, the government here has recognised that the disposable nappy is a major problem on our waste disposal sites. Unfortunately, we’re not only over populating our planet but we’re destroying it by polluting the land with nappies.

This lackadaisical attitude to parenting it seems is spreading into other areas of social/life skills. Hence the inability for some children to dress themselves properly, speak or write clearly or respect their environment or other humans.

My smallish village is a prime example. Parents, as soon as they’re able, seem to want to foist their kids onto grandparents or shove them into nursery school and then, when the children are at home, they send them outside to “play with their friends”, paying little heed to where the children are. So often my partner and I and our various childless neighbours (both young and old) have seen “packs” of small children running around unattended. They have no road sense (thankfully our roads here are extremely quiet traffic-wise), and because there are no parents around to tell them when they’re overstepping what’s socially acceptable, they’re throwing rubbish into the street, chasing cats, bullying the smaller kids on the block, kicking balls into people’s cars and windows and running amok in front gardens. I’ve even caught small children picking the flowers from under my front window!

I suspect many responsible parents out there are now yelling at me “why don’t you tell the children off” or “why don’t you tell the parents”? I’ve learned my lesson – several years ago I told a small gang of boys (aged around 7) to try and avoid my windows and flower beds when they were chucking their cycles down and playing football. I wasn’t unkind or abrupt, but just asked them politely. They sulkily picked up their bikes and football and, having hurled abuse at me, went off. Within the hour I had an angry father knocking on my door asking me what right I had to tell “Josh” to buzz off. The father wasn’t prepared to listen to my version of events, preferring to rely on the evidence put forward by a seven year old child.

Now, some six or seven years later, the families of those boys are constantly being visited by our boys in blue (police!) as they’ve progressed their unsociable behaviour and are becoming involved in fights, under age drinking, bullying, vandalism (including setting light to a field of wheat belonging to our local farmer!) and generally any misdemeanour you can think of!

So, parents beware, without your guidance kids can easily go off the rails … and this guidance starts with the basics, such as potty training!

We are all born equally, then why do these differences occurr over the time?

Why do people change? and why do they change us?

I was an average baby, and yes all ababies are cute right, loved, pampered, but was i different?

Sometimes its hard to look back at the past and think about how much u miss it, that is life.

But why is it so hard, i miss my childhood, yes, we’re all born innocent and so was i.

It was the best time of my life, sometimes, i wish i could relive it, every moment of it, cherish the beautiful time,

when there were no worries, nothing to do and only happiness. The only thing we would cry for was milk, or food.

And life was perfect!

Why so many worries now? Why the hurt, the pain and so less happiness that you have to search for it in little things?

But i guess that is life, its hard, its weird and its pain.

LIFE…. it goes on.

The disastrous involvement of children taking sides in a divorce.

The dynamics which exist between a husband and a wife are, between the husband and the wife. They children rarely figure into that relationship. When parents decide to divorce or separate children must not be used as pawns, nor use themselves.

Many parents strive to keep the child ‘out’ of the situation, but many children force their way in as if showing ’solidarity’ with one parent or the other will grant them some special boon.

It seems odd but many daughters of adulterous men will ’side’ with the father as if joining him ‘against’ the mother will somehow raise their stauts. many boys will side with the mother against the brutal father as if he can protect her. In the second case the results are not as devastating as in the first.

Many girls destroy their relationships with their mothers and become usuable commodities for their fathers. In many cases, the father who cares nothing for his children but for the female he is currently chasing, will have their daughters ’supporting’ them.

Some of the most worthless men, men who never paid a cent for their child’s support will be given an all expense paid vacation in their daughter’s home, often to destructive ends. Many men, visiting their married daughters might want a ‘boy’s night out’ with the husband, and the daughter might find the same proclivities which destroyed her father’s marriage are now being inflicted upon her.

These women, who have so aligned with the father contra the mother, have now given themselves a task in having to put up with whatever their father does for to do otherwise would prove they were wrong, They would feel guilt at dismissing their mothers. Hence, the father will take full advantage of the daughter’s generosity with the knowledge she can’t dare object.

Daughters who have found themselves sacrificing everything for their fathers know how wrong they are and have been, and very few have the ability to escape the prison they have built for themselves

Simple aspects of your childhood that give you long lasting, and loving memories.

At some point in a child’s life, they always experience the feeling of envy towards another sibling, relative, or friend. It can be the envy of them receiving a toy, opportunity, attention, or something else. Once you grow up and mature, you’ll look back at your childhood and laugh at all the senseless things you were jealous of.

When I was seven years old, we had our cousins from Toronto visiting us. Back then, it was just usually my mom’s sister and her son who came to meet us yearly, or us going to their place and meeting them instead. My mom’s sister is my most favorite aunt in the entire family… she is the most exciting and interesting person I know! But my cousin brother is nothing like my aunt, he is probably the most devious, cunning, and naughty little cousin brother in the world… BUT… I obviously still love him. I was the complete opposite of my cousin… I was always shy, quiet, and nice! We got into many fights and arguments, but I never felt jealous of him because I knew he always caused trouble in the house while I didn’t…. Until one day…

Everyone usually woke up before I did, and they still do today. I woke up, brushed my teeth, and then headed downstairs to find that everyone was surrounding my little cousin brother and running around the house looking for medicine. Because my mornings didn’t usually run like this, I actually bothered to ask my mom what was happening. She said that my cousin brother had become sick overnight, so they were doing all they could to reduce the sickness as much as possible. My cousin was eventually sent upstairs to lie down and rest. I remember that everyone gave him all their attention… I even remember that I couldn’t ask a simple question without a “Not right now Nishtha… maybe a little later.” At this age, I don’t think any child understands that they have to wait for their turn, or not to be jealous of their younger siblings, or any of the other morals our parents teach us. So like any child, I slowly got jealous that he was getting more attention than me. The thing that really triggered off my jealousy is actually something really funny … When he was hungry, all he had to do was shake a small metal glass with a marble in it, and then when my mom or aunt heard the noise they would get a huge bowl filled with Coco-Puffs cereal and bring it to his room…. And who wouldn’t like getting a bowl of Coco-Puffs at the sound of a marble in a glass? To make things clear…yes… I was jealous of him getting a bowl of cereal. I have to admit that it sounds pretty funny now, but back then I was super jealous and I have no idea why! This is where I started to take action….

Ultimately, my cousin was allowed to come back downstairs because he had started to get bored. Everyone was cooking, cleaning, or doing something else, and I was given the task of making sure my cousin wasn’t doing anything naughty… Because no matter how weak or sick he was, he always had found enough energy in himself to mess something up around the house. He started to play with one of my favorite dolls, so I was told not to play with it or even touch it. At this point, I was gushing with jealousy towards him… so I asked myself, “How can I fall sick, so I can play with my toys and get Coco-Puffs in a huge bowl?” Finally, an idea popped into my head… at the time, I thought it was a great idea, but now it seems pretty stupid. Once my cousin was finished playing with my doll, he placed it on the couch and went back upstairs to sleep. After I checked that the coast was clear, I picked up the doll and rubbed it like crazy all over me to make sure that I got enough germs to fall sick. Believe it or not… that was my way of taking action and getting rid of my jealousy, and surprisingly… it worked!

My plan went through the way I wanted it to. I fell sick by the next morning and was in the same condition as my cousin. My parents had no idea how I fell sick… I thought that was the best part! And as I expected, I was able to play with my toys again since my cousin and I were in the same state and I was also able to get a huge bowl of Coco-Puffs at the sound of a marble! I have to admit that there were some things I had to give up while being sick, but I thought it was worth it. After that experience, I never tried to get sick on purpose again, because by then I had grown up a bit more and matured. After 5 years, I finally decided to tell my mom and dad, and we both laughed about it together. I think we all experience jealousy at a young age, but thankfully this feeling disappears with our childhood.

A summary of Freud's theory of personality, and why it's RIDICULOUS (Although a lot of it is a bit self-explanatory!)

A lot of people have some knowledge about Freud. They know about the Anal, Oral and Genital stages of development, and that basically everything is about sex! I’m here to clarify what you know, and maybe expand on it.

I’ll begin by saying that Freud was around in the late 1800s. He was the first person to try a ‘talking cure’ when it came to mental illness, so he is extremely influential and has contributed some very useful ideas to the field of psychology and psychotherapy. He treated female patients with hysteria, an illness which caused a loss of bodily function, for instance limb paralysis. They all claimed they had been molested by male family members, and when they talked through the ordeal, they were cured of their illness. Freud claimed that these women were not molested, they wanted to be, but knew it was bad, and had repressed the desire.

Before you go mental at Freud, you must realise; this is the 1800s! It’s only in the last 20 years that people have accepted that child abuse is a lot higher than was first thought. Over 100 years ago, the idea of it was unthinkable and it was thought to be extremely rare.

This idea of repression is what Freud’s theory is most famous for. He claims that our mind has three levels: the conscious, the pre-conscious, which is accessed via dreams and therapy such as free-association, and the unconscious. It is our unconscious desires which we repress in order to function normally.

Id, Ego and Superego

Our psyche, according to Freud, is split into three. The first construct is the Id. This is where all of our instinctual desires come from. The Id, you might say, is the devil on our shoulder pushing us to do whatever we want to do. This is where our repressed desires come from. The second construct, the Superego, is what you might refer to as the parent, moderating our behaviour to accord with what society expects. It is our conscience, our ability to know that what we want is not always right.

These two constructs are controlled, to some extent anyway, by the Ego. The ego is the sense of self. It translates what the Id wants into some kind of acceptable behaviour. For an example, Freud might claim that playing a musical instrument is the Ego’s way of controlling the Id’s urge to masturbate!

Psychosexual Stages of Development

The ideas of the id, ego, and the superego slot into Freud’s much more controversial theory that we all go through psychosexual stages of development. He proposed that three aspects of childhood affect whether we become ‘fixated’ at a particular stage; the Oral stage, the Anal stage, or the Genital stage. These aspects are breast feeding, toilet training and genitals.

The Oral Stage

If a child is excessively gratified (in other words, allowed to go on breast-feeding for a long time) they will become fixated in this stage. They will also become fixated if they are frustrated (in other words, not allowed to breast-feed for as long as they want). Freud claims that these fixations cause a person to revert to the behaviour patterns associated with the childhood phase, in subtle and indirect ways. A gratified person will show this through being very optimistic, desiring a regular income, being generous and cheerful, and liking soft foods. They have the attitude that ‘good things last forever’. Conversly, frustrated people become pessimistic, hostile, cruel and clingy. They have the attitude that ‘good things never last’.

The Anal Stage

Freud claims that here, a child gets sexual satisfaction from retaining a full bowel, or from excreting. I think you can all see straight away that this is INSANE! He claims children as young as 18 months have a definite sexuality and are aware of it!

The anal character manifests in adulthood via behaviours such as hoarding, attention to detail, persistence, and an urge to clean things. The hoarding comes from the desire to hoard excrement, and so on.

The Genital Stage

This is where things start to get really freaky. If you didn’t think it was already bad, just wait! Freud claims that 5 year old children want to have sex with their opposite-gender parent, and see their same-sex parent as a rival for the opposite-sex parent’s attention. This relates back to his hysteria patients mentioned above. Women have an elektra complex, and men have an oedipus complex. Young boys know that their desire is wrong and they fear castration; they view girls as being boys who were castrated! Instead they attempt to appease the father by relating to him. Conversly, the girls do not fear castration, but go through experiences of mourning the loss of their penis and feeling inferior to males – Freud coined the term ‘Penis Envy’ to explain the phenomenon.

If you’re thinking that this is absolute bull, Freud would have a response for you! You only think that because you have repressed your memories from 5 years old and younger, along with your oedipus/elektra complex!

He’s really thought of everything!

What’s great for Freud is that his theory encompasses all human behaviour. He has an explanation for everything. If somebody buys cheap presents, likes to hold on to items and money and are rude, they have an anal personality. If they are really nice and generous, they have simply repressed their anal personality and are overcompensating!

This is great for Freud as he can explain everything, but it also lacks scientific proof. He only studied cases of single patients, and there is a massive overemphasis on the sexual drive.

My theory is that Freud had these desires, and felt the need to make them okay by creating this whole theory of personality!

Thoughts?

This movie is touching, funny, and sweet; with some great social commentary about the conditions and troubles of mexican immigrants into this country.

Under the Same Moon

The movie, Under The Same Moon is a heart-wrenching tale about a nine-year old boy that goes on an adventure to find his mother, an undocumented worker from Mexico who’s been gone from his life for the last four years. The film expresses the conditions that illegal aliens must work and live their lives in, as well as their state of constant danger.

Carlitos, after the death of his grandmother, sets out for Los Angeles to find her. His journey is long and perilous and has a time limit; he needs to get to Los Angeles in under a week so that his mother won’t worry when she calls him like she does every Sunday morning. Separated from his smugglers immediately after they get across the border, Carlitos has troubles from the start. He loses his money, and naively puts his trust in a drug addict, who tries to sell him to human traffickers. Saved by a passerby, he gets hooked up with a ride to LA through a truckload of tomato pickers. Unfortunately, their tomato farm is the subject of an immigration raid that day; Carlitos, along with another man from the farm, is on the run again. They hitch a ride to Houston, and find a job that will give them just enough money to get them to LA by Saturday morning. But then they still have to find her without an address.

The storyline flashes back and forth between Carlitos, and his mother, Rosario, who is also searching for a way to be with her son again, whether it be by working herself to death to find a lawyer to represent her, or marrying a US resident in order to send for her son. Her struggles go along with an internal debate about what lengths she should go to in order to be legal, and to be here with her child. Should she marry someone that she doesn’t love? Betraying herself in order to stay?

Along the way, the film takes a look at the conditions these Mexican immigrants must endure for the promise of a better life. Getting across the border, Carlitos’ mother and her friend had to swim across a dangerous river only to be met by immigration officers on the other side. Carlitos nearly passed out when hiding in a boiling secret compartment under a car seat. It also offers an insight as to the types of occupations that must be held, and what once must do to survive. Rosario works two jobs in the homes of rich white women, she also sews dresses in order to support herself, send money home, and pay for a lawyer to become legal. When Carlitos is helping out at the tomato farm, he witnesses a man in terrible pain from accidentally rubbing his face, getting chemicals, pesticides, carcinogens, and all sort of chemicals into his eyes. Carlitos also washes dishes in a kitchen for a few days, in payment; they get some money, and a place to sleep.

The other main theme is continuous danger. The world is a dangerous place for a young kid, full of drug addicts, and thieves but most often, the bad guys are the police. Carlitos is continuously on the run, continuously hiding, he doesn’t know much about the US, but he knows this much, Police = Being sent back to Mexico. He must get past the police at the border, escape police at the tomato farm, and run from police when found sleeping on a park bench in LA. Carlitos’ adventure gives an insight into what illegal aliens face the possibility of, everyday. Deportation.

I really enjoyed this movie, it was sad, and scary; cute, while serious, and I loved the happy ending.

From my early childhood.

One of my earliest memories growing up was of someone (who I recall as being my mother if memory serves) being rushed from my house after a suicide attempt. Why this particular image sticks in my mind, and whether my mother all these years later would remember it, are two equally valid questions.

It was quite shocking to my senses as I recall, I was after all only a small boy at the time.

Perhaps it was this scarring effect that makes it so prominent in my recollections. I had thought that my family life was quite good, up until that point. I know that it may be offensive to my mother that I am even writing on this topic, but from my perspective as long as I am not slandering, then there is no major issue.

It is probable that my memory is not a paragon of perfection, but I am writing as I recall to the best of my mind’s ability after so long.

I remember for years being angry at my mother for doing nothing less than (I thought @ the time) attempting to leave us (my sisters and I.) I honestly thought we did something to make her not want to be with us anymore.

It made no sense to me as a child, and makes even less sense to me now looking back. This is the first time I am deeply touching this topic, consider it an exercise to exorcise a lot of childhood trauma. I am happy to say my mother survived her attempted suicide and is still very much alive, although she still struggles with depression issues and such.

What is going on inside the brain of a serial killer and what made him the way he is?

The mind of a serial killer is a chilling area of discussion. It makes one wonder why they do it and how they got that way in the first place. Serial killers are very complex individuals. There is usually a group of traits that have some bearing on the personality. In order to be distinguished as a serial killer, there are certain criteria that need to be met. This usually involves the killing of over three people with a noticeable standstill amid the murders that extends in excess of approximately a month. Serial killers are more inclined to be males. Female serial killers are very scarce and their intentions tend to differ somewhat from that of the males.

It has been strongly authenticated that there is a marked constituent of sexual brutality often associated with the childhood of a serial killer. Their deceitful conduct as adults is often times related to events from their past whether it be sexual, physical, emotional, or a combination of all three. These forms of abuse ultimately mark where fantasy begins to surpass reality and some really alarming activities begin to surface. Many become captivated with arson and/or there is the development of the cruel torture of animals to name a few. It is worthy to note as well that there are many people who endure tragic childhoods, but yet do not become murderers. Something in the mind of the serial killer gets triggered to an on position that cannot be stopped.

As adults after traits of psychopathy and sociopathy have already set in, the serial killer will take on such acts as becoming engrossed with inner organs of the body, exclusively the sexual parts with an instance of this nature being necrophilia. As psychopaths, they will lack any compassion or sympathy for their victims. As sociopaths, their perception of what is considered correct and unethical has been corrupted.

Most of the famous serial killers in America have been white males approximately around the age of thirty. Ted Bundy is a notorious psychopath that comes to mind. He lured women into his car and would do unspeakable acts with the bodies following their demise. Sexual predator, John Wayne Gacy, and his psychopathic tendencies became the center of attention amongst researchers after he was imprisoned for raping and killing several young males.

There has been some progression and conjecture as to why a select group of individuals will become serial killers. Some theorists have considered that they are biologically born as killers with anomalous activity being experienced in the brain. The mind of the serial killer continues to be studied and more superior gains of knowledge are expected to evolve in the future.
