Since Washington was the first president of the United States, he needed to set the example for how it should be done in the future, but while doing that, he also needed to interpret laws of the constitution himself, because the Supreme Court had not taken any actions yet. During this time period, Washington did the best that he possibly could to please everybody in the United States. During this time, he also secured liberty by providing the country with a future example of how the presidency is supposed to be handled which helps future presidents even today. In his efforts to please many people, he provided numerous opportunities to multitudes of people to enjoy liberty while keeping the country in control. The last thing in the time period of the first few presidencies to secure liberty was the National Bank. This bank gave people not only the option to save their money, but to also invest in their businesses and country for financial growth. Having more money meant that people could create a larger business or be able to enjoy the blessings of liberty such as owning property.

This is a fictional letter I wrote as the character William Fuller (all characters mentioned are fictional).

Dear Cousin Thomas:
——————————————————————————————————————-
I trust matters at home in England are going well. As do I send my regards to you and your family. I myself have been just surviving on what little food and wages I receive as a soldier and guard of the Jamestown colony in Virginia. Others have not been so fortunate. At least half our numbers dropped on the voyage across the great Atlantic alone. And many continue dropping from hunger and disease. It is scary knowing I have very little myself yet many have even fewer possessions and smaller portions of food to live on than I. It seems as if every day brings the death of several indentured and slaves. And every other day, the death of other colonists.
——————————————————————————————————————-
On top of our troubles with hunger and disease, we are always restless with the thought that an Indian raid could occur at any given second. This affects the guards, such as myself, especially. We have been some times fighting off small groups who want to overtake our colony or steal food. Eight of my fellow soldiers I have seen killed by these attacks and myself injured twice now. But the local chiefs always deny involvement. We can only go back to our posts and hope to survive the next time it happens. On the grand scale though, the indians seem to leave us alone if we be sure not to provoke them. Their ambassador, a girl no older than sixteen years is very polite and often brings a bit of food to our colony. This girl seems to go to great troubles with Smith to keep peace. I believe her to be the only reason jamestown still exists.
—————————————————————————————————————–
All considered, Jamestown is suviving but I can not say thriving. Many people arrive from Europe to begin a new life or to explore the New World with their own eyes. Some are intrigued. Some are fairly satisfied. But most are sorely disappointed when they realize what it is to be out of reach of England’s comforts. I would give all I have for a hot bath in a warm cottage.
————————
Sincerely,
————————
WilliamFuller

Different economies developed in the northern and southern colonies. In the North, colonist found that crops often did not grow well in the rocky, forested land. Many colonists grew just enough food for their own families. This led northern colonies to turn to other ways of making a living, such as shipbuilding and producing goods such as rum, textiles, and ironworks.

The South’s economy was very different. The region’s fertile land and mild climate were ideal for agriculture, and famrs produced valuable crops such as tobacco, rice, and indigo. While many southern farms were small, the South also saw the growth of large plantations that often relied on slave labor to produce cash crops.

The Spark of The Revolution

- Submitted by Jean-Luc Castrou

For years we have been forced to live in a society where the first and second class along with the king have abused and ruled far too long. Our government is corrupt. The second and first class work together to find ways to take every cent we have. Many years have past and yet there is no change in our economic structure. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer. Far too long have we allowed the king and nobles to go about their days buying anything to their desire, where we are forced to work for countless hours and having almost nothing to show for the work completed. The people are starving. Only those who can afford it are able to get a proper education. We have the majority and yet we are ruled by the minority. It is time for the third class to make things right!

The Rising Star – Napoleon

Until Napoleons reign France had been, corrupt, bankrupt, unlawful, cruel, civil wars. First came the Absolute monarchy which governed all of France and was divided into 3 estates. 2 of which were able to go about their days not having to worry about facing punishment for their actions and the other which had no rights or privileges and were forced to work for nickels and dimes. Eventually the lower class which was not being treated properly rose up and rebelled against the minority. The government punished those who spoke even the slightest ill about the country, and were sentenced to the guillotine. Napoleon took control and pushed the other government out. He led the French against their many enemies and pushed back into their territory. When an assassin attempted to take his life he seized all power.

The Tennis Court Oath

Where those of the third and some of the second class met in agreement to establish a proper economic and government system where the lower class had an opinion. This event took place on a Tennis court because they were locked out of the meeting room by the third and second class. This historic event played a key role in Frances future.

Report On Feudal Rights and Taxation

- Submitted by Joseph Boque

The nobility and clergy have been using massive quantities of money which they took from us to fund their personnel life. The third class has no rights. The nobility and clergy are allowed to walk around carrying swords and do not sweat going to court for they know that the chances of them being prosecuted properly are very low. Because the upper class requires to have a new set of clothing for each seating served by their servants in their giant eating halls we are forced to pay taxes. It is hard enough for our people to pay these taxes to fit these extravagant life’s but now they require that we use the little money we have to try and afford food and clothing for our families to fund a war across the sea in the American lands. France is bankrupt, the government is spending more than they are producing. Their solution? Tax us. The third class should have the right to vote so that they are able to place elected officials who are non-corrupt and will excel at their position. If spending was controlled and the finance minister actually had some control the maybe France would not be in such debt. Unless changes are made soon, France will plummet for years and years only putting us further behind. The third class deserves to vote. Our incompetent leadership is blinded by their own greed to take more territory and to gain more control that they do not realize what fate lies ahead.

France As A Nation

- Submitted by Jacque LeBlanc – Smith

French has always had a strong people. Especially those who are really French. These 1st and 2nd class people figure that they are the ones who are the proper French. The French Revolution started with the 3rd class taking charge and taking what is theirs. The French are not ones to be cheating. It was because the greed for money and property that the nobles and clergy required went berserk. They taxed us for everything. Just to get into a town or a city their would be a toll price and with the amount of money they paid us to work tirelessly on their property was barely enough to put a meal on the table daily. They took every cent we had to fund their wars and their extravagant lives that they needed so much. They controlled the government and worked together to help one another by using us. Here a majority which only had 1% of the population controlled the entire country. They wanted to expand in the west while here at home their were enemies in all directions and nothing was being done. It was only a matter of time before the third class had grown tired of this daily routine, and took control. They earned some rights and the government that was established was fair to all, or so we thought. Their was punishments and bloodshed because of people speaking certain ways. If Napoleon had not stepped in and defeated our enemies and repair the homeland who knows who would have happened. He was a true Frenchmen and that is why are a strong nation to this day. If we had not done anything in the early stages of our countries revolution then who knows how long this absolute monarchy had ruled.

Letter To The Editor

- Submitted by Mary Antwanet – Peasant – Servant

Since the age of 7 I have been forced to work, for if I don’t then I am unable to afford the medicine that my parents require and the bread that we eat. I was the youngest of 4, 3 girls and 1 boy. I am a servant in the house of the Boneque family. Every day I wake up at 6:00 o’clock in the morning and have to be at the house by 6:30 until 10:00. If I am late, I am punished. For every minute that I am late they take 10% off of my pay. I was late only once and was devastated to see that they had taken over half of my pay. I have never been late since. I am one of the higher ranking servants in the house and oversee that the Madams needs are met. Every day the Madam goes shopping and everyday she buys either a new piece of clothing and/or jewellery. She does not care about the price for the money that the family makes from their farms is substantial. She eats only expensive food for in her opinion the more it costs the better it is. My sisters were sent to work in a clothing shop and at the age of 8 I watched my 16 year old brother beaten and taken away to be enlisted in the military as a punishment for crime that he did not commit. My sisters and I are the only ones who can work for our parents have grown old and sick. Our family is able to afford 2 and sometimes 3 small meals a day but there are others that cannot afford anything. Children are starving. The house I work in is a family of four. Their house is 20x the size of 5 houses on our street. I am tired of living in this type of society. It is a time for equality!

In the mid 17th century Sweden was one of the leading powers of Europe, its territories at that time included all of Finland and Estonia as well as parts of Russia, Poland, Latvia and Germany. The Swedes wished to create a colony trading in tobacco and furs and so bypass the market created by the French and British.

The first expedition set out from Gothenburg in 1637 and arrived in Delaware Bay in March 1638. That area they arrived in was land claimed by the Dutch, they landed at a spot known today as Swedes’ Landing. They built a defensive fort at what is today Wilmington, Delaware and named it Fort Christina, after the Swedish Queen of that name.

Over the next few years around 600 people of the four nationalities mentioned settled the area. Peter Minuit, a former director of the Dutch West India Company was appointed as the first governor of the new colony. Minuit knew that the Dutch had deeds for land for the east of the river but not for the land to the west. He met with the local Delaware tribe on the west bank and persuaded them to sign deeds.

The leader of the Dutch colonies, Willem Kieft, largely in what is today’s New York State objected to the Swedes being on the west of the river but Minuit ignored this as he knew at that time the Dutch were unable to use military action against him. Minuit departed for Stockholm, voyaging down to the Caribbean to collect a shipment of tobacco for selling in Europe and hoping to make himself a big profit. A hurricane swept through the Caribbean, Minuit was one of those lost in that storm.

It would take two years to appoint a new governor and transport him from Sweden, Johan Printz arrived in 1643 and under his leadership the colony prospered, establishing settlements near what is today Salem, New Jersey and others to the southwest of present day Philadelphia, he also had a manor house built called the ‘Printzhof.’ The colony of New Sweden gave support to the Susquehannocks over the British in Maryland and when the next governor arrived in 1653 he led soldiers on an attack of the Dutch fort in May 1654.

At about the same time back in Europe and Sweden was fighting the Polish-Lithuanian armies in the second Northern War of the Baltic. The Dutch colony took advantage of this and under the control of Peter Stuyvesant they seized the colony of New Sweden in 1655. The Swedish settlement became a part of New Holland in September of that year. It was the end of what had been known as New Sweden.

How the leaders of the so called democratic world have tried their best to influence us that they are right and pure, and the rest of the world should fall in line and become democratic.

The leaders of the so called democratic world have tried their best to influence us that they are right and pure, and the rest of the world should fall in line and become democratic. This would be a good thing for mankind if there were any system which was truly democratic.

As it stands democracy is only used as a ploy of worldwide deception.

Britain has always claimed they were responsible for the inception of democracy, but then Britain is responsible for everything which is good for Capitalism, such as Diplomacy, Freedom, Honesty and Decency. Of course they are not responsible for anything which is bad or evil in this world which we are all conditioned to believe.

Britain’s ex-Colony the United States which was built on the wilful murder and destruction of the Aztec civilisation and other civilizations, which are thousands of years older than any of the civilizations of Europe, with criminal actions by the slaughter of millions of native Americans, to build a civilisation at the point of a gun, with guns and other weapons of mass destruction, and trying their best to further control the world in the name of democracy.

Lets examine democracy. The true meaning of democracy is the Government of the people led by the people, for the people, in the interest of the people.

Ask yourself the question, does this really exist?

In England there are 3 political parties fighting against each other, blaming each other when things go wrong. There is no difference between any of the Parties, apart from the fact one claims to represent the working classes and the poor, while the others claim to represent everyone.

The third party just floats by in confusion, they are like a tree blowing in the wind, flowing back and forth as the wind guides them.

It’s about time they are stripped of their lies and hypocrisy, they used as a means of control.

In democracy the parties were catered for by the State. They do not have to depend on the public for financial sustenance.

Let’s examine our 3 parties. We will take the Labour Party first. They are sustained by the Trade Unions which means the working classes. If there is no Trade Union there will not be any Labour Party. In a climatical condition where there is mass unemployment they can never be a strong working class movement, therefore they have little chance in existing without some donation from the rich and powerful who are conscious of the position.

Then there is the Conservative Party they have no worry they are supported by the Aristocracy, The Landed Gentry, the Church and the greedy millionaires who can afford to donate hundreds and thousands to the coffers of the Conservative Party, giving them all the financial strength they need to sustain their party, to make sure the rich and powerful are always in power.

No one gives that kind of money away for nothing.

What we are saying is the rich sustain the Conservative Party with the expectation they will work in their interest and this means in the interest of a few and not the many.

Pressure has always been brought to bear by the financiers, they need to be protected and assured.

I quote from this weeks Daily Mail 1st February 2011.

“Public spending cuts should be faster and deeper regardless of the impact on jobs, says a leading Conservative donor.

Venture capitalist Jon Moulton argues that said ministers should also accept a ‘far higher rate of business failure as a price worth paying for getting public finances back on track more quickly.

In a pamphlet for the Centre for Policy Studies, he argues that Labour’s mis-management of the economy requires even tougher solutions than those pro-posed by the Coalition.

We need to face up to the need to cut government spending more quickly, and to accept a far higher corporate failure rate.

This would mean more unemployment and more business failure in the short term. But, by transferring more resources from the public to the private sector, it should also provide a much better base for future growth.

Mr Moulton, whose personal fortune is estimated at more than £100million, has given £250,000 to the Tories since 2004; along with a further £150.000 to the office of Defence Secretary Liam Fox.

This proves without doubt the power of persuasion to have the Tory party do what he and his kind want, not in the interest of the people or the country, which means democracy does not exist for all.

Over the years the Tory Party has done everything which lies in their power to deny the majority of people any representation.

They move their factories from their own country which they profess to be proud of and want to see remain successful to any part of the world where they can get cheap labour. They do not care a dam about the working people of their country, who will suffer the consequences in poverty and misery.

If this is democracy my understanding of fair play and justice is wrong, as I understand it, we are dealing with the essence of corruption. This applies to any country with a 2 party system who have to depend on the rich and powerful in financial terms.

So corrupt are they that corruption has become the norm, with every now and then, some poor individuals who are at the bottom of the corruption ladder are made scape goats to cover up their pretence.

After humans, leaf cutter ants are the most complex colonies on earth. Ants have a caste system or hierarchy.

Oh what we humans could learn from ants…!

Minims: I think this is a sweet name. It makes me think of tiny musical notes! Minims are the smallest workers.

Duties: Caring for the offspring and tending to fungus gardens.

Minors: (they must be under age?!) These are slightly larger soldiers.

Duties: Constant patrol, defending the foraging lines and attacking enemies. They are the first line of defence against predators.

1. Mediae: Foragers

Duties: Foraging, leaf cutting, bringing back the cut leaves to the home.

Majors:
The largest workers

Duties: Second line of defence, some clearing and carrying responsibilities. (Body length of 16mm.)

According to The journal of Behavioural Ecology and Social Biology, elderly leaf cutters whose teeth are worn down from a lifetime of chomping ‘retire’.

Each ant’s effectiveness for leaf cutting is greatly reduced with age, threatening the survival of the entire colony. Rather than becoming ‘unemployed’, the aged leaf cutters take on alternative duties such as carrying. According to research, ants are able to recognise that elder’s contributions to society are also valuable.

A summary on Kashmir crisis.

Kashmir issue can be sum-up in three major aspects:

Post War Imperial Strategy towards its Colonies

British India Partition and assimilation with Independent provinces

Kashmir as a Control System to the Region

The World is still not free from the hand of Imperialistic Power. The Colony is still retained and the control of governance is still in the hand of Imperialistic Power. The change that occurred after the Post War II, is the only to withdraw its physical presence from third world countries which have been transferred the power to govern to their Local Representatives in the name of Democracy. Democracy is a tool where people of the Land are only given a right to elect their representative and submission of all the Power for decision making unless they are removed by the next election. The tenure of the election is almost five years and until that time it is sufficient to process the wealth of the Land through various Scams, which is never gets punished or recovered.

The Control of Local Polity, which is democratic in nature, becomes dynastic. The Major Party who is the tool of the imperialistic power is challenged by Local mushroom powers, which is always taken over by corrupt means or challenged through state machinery.

The Control of the Polity of the Post Colonial Land is only towards extracting of resources, and to control this various means of security crisis is nurtured through Cross-border terrorism or the tribal crisis as threat to Internal Security.

The Partition of India, which is the oldest Civilisation of a multicultural society where numerous ethnics are surviving and sustaining, is basically an Illegal and Unethical act in the name of Religion. The Land of Spirit is sustained without any communal crisis and has the divine ability of absorption of all creeds without discrimination.

The Partition of India as a whole was absolutely illegal when the ownership of British India did not include Princely states and where people will was not included in the major historic even. The assimilation of Princely States to the Indian Sovereignty is either by mutual beneficiary or convenience of security was a historical pact made by all the states. The Sovereignty of the Land at the present world scenario is the supreme and none state is independent in its own way.

The crisis within the Land can be resolved through change of the pattern within the governing system and not through separatism. Any call from the separatism from the State Sovereignty is illegal under the International Understanding. People’s will is always considered with the pattern of Governance and not the disassociating with Sovereign.

The invasion of Land which was beyond the legal doctrine like Gilgit Baltistan, Aksai Chin and Azad Kashmir by defactomeasure and unethical under the International Law. These are disputed Land which needs revision. Kashmir is an integral part of India and is legal in all ways once the pact was signed by the Maharaja of Kashmir with the Indian Government.

Kashmir can claim autonomy within the frame-work of the Constitution of India and under India Sovereignty.

The control system of the feudal strategy to mobilize the World Economy is through the internal crisis of the Land and / or in the region. These create an environment of non-unity in the region and make the feudal towards control of the resources towards their benefits.

The tools of the control system of the feudal are quite widespread. These are done by various platforms, i.e. through various paid research groups, the pressure groups towards Liberation aspiration, third the Created Celebrities through International recognition as global citizen and most importantly through the process of religion conversion.

The tools work on the strategies of feudal to create the disturbance in the land. The victims of the actions of these tools are the common people, whether they are civilians or army. The death destroys the family and morality of the Land. It is important for Common Masses to understand the politics that is played in the International Level and the Leaders are only tools who are then compensated handsomely for their future life for them and their families.

Actual well-wishers of the Land will never work on the destruction and disputes. The approach of real leaders will be based on Universal growth without discrimination. Unless the correction is done in the conceptual level of the Political situations, it will never be able to resolve the crisis like Kashmir. If the World is really bothered about Human Right of People, then they should work on Human Duties, which is Universal in nature and governed by Law and not Power.

How the issue of Kashmir is facilitating Strategists?

Disputes in Land occupancy or Self-determination through Separation from the Sovereign Land are an ongoing process after World War II. The formation of the State-system after the War era has made a confirmed statehood in all the region of the world. The formation of United Nations Organization is a way of the recognition to the Statehood through the International Community.

The governance system of the World Community is controlled by the winner of the World War II through the Security Council that has five permanent members as Veto Power. The security of the Region amongst the Sovereign Lands is checked under the vigilance of the Security Council.

In this process, the pattern of War got changed. The War between the Militaries of two or more individual Lands have been taken over by Proxy War. But the tendencies of war always remained towards the Control on Economy by the imperialistic power. The Imperialistic Powers having been the hegemony status in the World Council are manipulating the regions through cross border terrorism and internal crisis.

There are two approaches of the feudal:

1. The Sale of War Weapon

2. To control the Region towards the Economic gain

After the end of Cold War, and subsequently disintegration of USSR, the hegemony of the US has made many changes in the World Governance System. The Liberal Economy through Structural Adjustment Programme, where the Economy was liberated from the State Control. This has given many provisions of unaccountability of the State through privatization of Entrepreneurship. This liberal economy further led to the Global Economy where the World Feudal started controlling the World Resources through various strategies.

The markets for the sale of War Weapons are created through the strategies of territorial disputes and crisis in the region through terrorism and cross border challenges. The insecurity created through various disputes in the region makes them fall into arms race. The feudal strategists work in quite organized way to create a market for the Sale of Weapons. They identify the weak state in the region and to facilitate them in the name of aid and make them control the region through terrorism.

Pakistan is such a State in the South Asia Region that gets the support from US to control the region. Kashmir is disputes created towards the control of the region and make the Land to make them more equipped in case there is war. It is the insecurity and the threat for both the countries that is generated towards the spending on War Weapons. Similar threat to other region has the same crisis.

China is following the same path of US to control the resources of the world through supplying of small weapons and other facilities to the tribal that creates a challenge to the governance of the Land. These challenge the internal security crisis. This helps China / US to hold the bilateral ties and/or a compromised trading treating through barter system.

War is very expensive and no sane countries will go for it voluntarily just for a mutual crisis, unless it has some hidden agenda or some outside influence. Similarly, the Kashmir issue raised by Pakistan is a strategy to control India’s Economy by the Feudal agencies like US and China.

Pakistan is a defacto Military of US and China to control the region so it demands for Kashmir no matter or illogical and/or unconstitutional it will remain as a mobilizing process towards the indigenous governance of Pakistan and towards its foreign relations.

Partition was an imperialistic strategy to divide the Civilisation into Communal.

India is a Civilisation, and Civilisation has no boundaries. It is the virtue of the Land that intact the communities. It is neither the Emperor and nor the Coins that expand the Land. It is rather the growth of Civilisation through its virtues makes the expansion of the Land.

India being a migratory land, the virtue of the Land is heterogeneous and multi-cultural. This has made the Land bestow with varieties of abilities. The Natural growth of the governance system by way of Structures / Guilds and Custom & Traditions was a control tool for Economy and Society.

The Rulers of the Land had a limited role in the Civilisation, i.e. to protect the province from the loots of invaders. The liberty to the individuals was ample towards flourishing of economy and culture. The religious freedom was unblocked by any ruler and this is the reason of flourishing ample spiritual personalities historically and that is the reason, India is termed as “Land of Spirits”. India never had communal disharmony until the time there was Imperialistic strategy as governance tool.

After the first war of Independence in 1857, it was important for the Imperialistic Power to dismantle the Unity of the Communities. Though the Imperialistic power had an inherited religious crisis with Islamic community, so it tried to bend on the Non-Islamic community. The non- Islamic community were further divided through discrimination of Castes and Tribes.

These divisive strategies became active with the approach of Bengal Partition in 1905. This sowed the seed on Communal mistrust and Power ambition. The Political representation through communal difference was focused in the name of Democracy.

After the drastic results of the World Wars, i.e. the huge destruction of money and man, which was further added by various freedom struggles from the Imperialism, compelled them to withdraw their presence from the region and to depute their Local Agent.

The Partition of India was based on the communal division in which Pakistan was mainly to use their defacto measures to control India in case of withdrawal of the Imperialistic strategy.

The British Agent, i.e. the Local Agents who signed the pact of the transfer of Power through Leased Governance to both India and Pakistan accept them to rule the country under their control. The Issue of Kashmir was then discussed during the pact was to create a difference between the Communal, i.e. Islamic Community and Non-Islamic Community.

India and Pakistan never got actual freedom from the Imperialism. They are having their governance system under Imperialistic control, i.e. control of Economy and Foreign Policy.
