It was a cave quiet and hill silence, the other day, I had no clue that I had to lose some impressive deals from my life. I was unaware of the facts that my long time friends had already decided to shut the windows of hope from Triond House. I was a bit shocked and too much worried that they vanished from Triond, my friends list and even from the comment field. How was that possible?

Later, I realized, they might close their Triond account for good. What made them do like that? Why didn’t they even inform their friends about that? How is it possible to erase every single info from Triond?

I tried to find out about them from every possible resources, but failed. If you know anything about them please comment on this post. I will be more than happy.

Confidence is not giving a care about what people think of you,

Confidence is achieving things you want.

I learnt this valuable lesson from an early age, my parents used to say “if you have no confidence then you have no life” and you know what, I still believe every word of it. People with no confidence always have no self-esteem and are always self-conscious that’s why they don’t get far in life – lets face it, even if you get straight A’s you won’t get the job of your dream because your confidence will let you down in the job interview. Employers have changed in the last decade or so – not only are they looking for bright individuals, they’re looking for individuals that burst with confidence. People that believe in themselves and believe in what they can achieve. I have written this article to help those who are not so bursting in confidence and find them they’re confidence.

Be your own best friend:

I learnt this lesson from a you tuber and lets face it, it’s quite a good lesson. Some of you might think its stupid but i think its one of the most important lesson you need to learn to gain confidence. Confidence isn’t something you can buy in a shop – you have to build it up like a strong brick and steel sky scraper. You can’t trust anyone as much as your own self – not even your closest friend because there’s a chance you might have a fight and she/he will go off telling anyone she/he can get her/his hands on. Its really important to be your own best friend – it makes you independent and helps you believe in your self. Independence is really important because it means that you don’t have to rely on people like your bank or friends cause they can make your life living hell. I mean if you really need help why don’t you comment yourself.

Don’t doubt yourself:

People with little or no confidence often doubt themselves – and that is a complete no no. Everyone must rely on themselves and believe in every decision they make, if you doubt your self then others doubt you and believe me it wont create a good image of you. One of the things people who doubt themselves need to learn is to let go of expectations. Its usually people with high expectations that get greatly disappointed. When people get so greatly disappointed they start to doubt themselves. When something like that does happen, you need to question yourself and ask if there were any reason behind why you probably didn’t do so well. By doing this you are separating your expectation and disappointment.

Stop comparing yourself:

This is one of the most common factors as of why people are lowering the confidence they have. I mean, people don’t care whether your not a skinny and fit as other people, not as clever as other people or not as popular as others – they care about who you are as a person. There might be a man or a women at work or school whose got the perfect body and is intelligent and is rich but that doesn’t mean they’re perfect and you HAVE to be like them. For all you know they might have lost family or might have had a bad past – REMEMBER, NO ONES PERFECT.

Love yourself:

Many people hate themselves, they’re body or their personality. Every single person is individual and unique – there is no such thing as perfect. Love yourself and always think about how lucky you are because there are people in Africa and poor countries where they will do hard manual work for a penny a day, not being able to afford to feed their family and having to watch their children,babies and wives starve to death and just knowing that they will never get anywhere in their life. Think about how lucky you are safe and sound in the comfort of your home with an education that can achieve you anything you’ve ever want.

Bullying:

Everyone has experienced bullying once in their lifetime whether at school or at work. Bullying can really lower ones self esteem as that’s it purpose. Bullying can come in many forms, if it hurts your feeling then it counts as bullying. Try to build a shield around yourself, anything designed to hurt your feelings just gets rebound. Remember – harsh comments only become true when you make them true. If someone is being a bitch and is bitching about you then don’t try to bitch about them as-well, this will only make you just as bad as they are. The only reason why their bitching about you is because they want to look superior against someone that they know has no confidence because they think they can trample all over you. There’s a chance that their being bullied and they want to take out all their doubt in themselves on someone else to make them selves look good. Remember if it continues try to stand up for yourself, believe in yourself and tell someone you can trust because then your not on your own.

2. Some readers just click on blog links to read the comments and update their gossip database. One would be lucky if they go to the comment section after reading the post content!

3. Some readers are forced to read posts as the authors send them the post link in a mail or through the FB inbox and sometimes they even call them to inform about a post that has been freshly published. They don’t comment – either as a silent protest or purely in revenge.

4. Some readers don’t understand the contents of the post. Since they can’t portray their lack of knowledge, they opt to get out of there ASAP!

5. Some readers feel that the author writes the same kind of monotonous posts. At first they comment, then they copy paste comments from previous posts and at last, disappear.

6. Some readers, who are also bloggers, feel that the author’s interaction level is low. Since the author doesn’t comment on their posts (The author does read, don’t he/she?), why should they?

7. Some readers who are the usual commenters get distracted while reading or before they finish (I’m being optimistic here) reading the post. They think of commenting a little later and then forget about it.

8. Some readers who read posts at offices copy paste the contents of the post into a MS Word document and then read. This is to make the Team Lead or the Manager sitting in close proximity feel that they are going through some work related document. The author should be lucky, for they at least read the contents if not sent in comments.

9. Some readers are just lazy to type. Period.

10. Some readers see what others have commented. And then they feel that it’s better not to comment rather than just write “Good one”, “Nice”, “Lovely”, “Mast”, “Awesome”, “First comment” or worse “ “, “ “, “ “, “ “, “ “, et al.

so number 1… You can always burn it, howerver the burning smells stays and your parents will ask you what it was…

number 2: Put it in the trash, but if your dad wants to throw something in it and sees your results…

number 3:Just use your parents signature and bring it back to school without your parents have ever saw it

Old School Thinking

I always remind myself that I am very fortunate to be living in this time and age. If I was born several hundred years ago, I would not have the opportunity to interact and share ideas with people from the different corners of the world. My mindset would be probably confined to my own island and tribe. I’ll be thinking that the tribe living on the next island are savages trying to boil me in a huge pot. Barriers of interaction are truly a thing of the past. Isn’t that a huge relief?

It’s only human if you need a good friend

The issue now is  how do you maximize the opportunity presented before you? A comment does reveal a little about the commenter’s character and personality no matter how short it is. It is also from comments that you get to know whether a person is easy-going, a joker, a no-nonsense type, a hate monger or a robot. Most of the time you can’t really tell how a person is really like from the serious and straight forward tone of his or her article alone.

Making judgements on other people is never a good thing. However, singling out a potential good friend from a list of hundreds and thousands do require good personal judgement. That is why comments are so important. Not giving comments equals to having less friends or no friends at all. Other people just cannot connect with you because you are not emitting any wavelength.

You get a good buddy and not just a “Triond” friend

From each article and from each comment, you will get to know the commenter even more. That is when you start having personal conversations with the person through the messaging system because you can feel and can relate to what they are talking about. Soon you become good buddies and feel at home here on Triond. Once you at ease and have more good buddies, your personal writing style would begin to improve further. You simply understand how people think and feel around here because you actually know them.

Why establishing good relationships can be good for you.

By now you might be saying, “Yeah Right! What the crap is this guy talking about!” Please take a look at the benefits and motivating factors that you get from having good buddies first before you bash me up any up further.

• Whenever you log onto Triond, you tend to look out for your good buddies first.
• You support, share ideas and share jokes with friends you get along with most of the time.
• Good friends support and at times go out of the way to help each other out.
• You can never know what these good relationships can lead to in the future.

Sharif Ishnin is a writer and miniature painter from Singapore.

Abortions are a legally allowed practice in Mexico City, Mexico, but have become banned throughout most of the country. The state where the young girl resides does allow abortions for pregnancies which are a result of rape, but only during the first trimester of pregnancy. The girl, however, is in the middle of the second trimester.

The girl’s mother reported the incident to authorities. The stepfather has since been arrested.

Some advocacy groups are arguing that the 10 year old was not informed that she could have aborted the birth in March when the matter was brought to the attention of the authorities. At the time the incident was reported, the girl was still in her first trimester of pregnancy. The girl is no longer under her mother’s care and remains in the custody of state child welfare authorities.

Pro-choice groups and child advocacy organizations in both Mexico and the United States are calling for the allowance of an abortion in the case due to the potential physical health hazards and mental health issues that birthing a child could place on the girl.
