• A person broke the window mirror of my car and stole my briefcase and there were around 40000 Rs in that and all my business records. My car was parked in a crowded street and there were tons of people walking over there and I just returned after 15 mins from parking my car. No response from the police till now.(total loss in the incidence Rs.1 lakh)
• My brother was travelling in Delhi metro which is considered a safe place but its seriously not. Somebody stole his mobile phone when he was in the train from his pocket and he informed the police immediately but there was no response. The police should have placed some security check on the people who were leaving from the station and they would have easily caught the person.(price of the phone Rs.10000)
• Today somebody broke the mirror of my car and stole the whole stereo system and this time too the person used the same trick to crack the mirror and that was a small iron ball.( cost of the stereo Rs.10000)
• Now from the same trick of cracking mirror somebody stole all the important papers from my uncles car. There were his son’s degrees of US university and all other important papers such as the passport.( worth priceless)
• I am a business man and I export goods to several people in Delhi through three wheelers. Somebody stole the three wheeler from the road and kidnapped the driver and there is no investigation or any action taken from government side.

Do you now think that Delhi or even India is a safe place to live in. We say we have a democratic government but are they bringing about any changes in the way the people are suffering. I think the people who do all this king of stealing are just forced to do so due to the the money problem they are facing. I have listed only a few of the incidents but I am sure that in India there are millions of these kinds of happenings daily. Should the common man suffer like this only and live his life just worrying of his belongings.
