In Kenya, we have forty-two different communities. Each has unique cultural practices. However, one common taboo runs across all cultures. The issue of premarital sex. Communities were very particular in ensuring that the youth were protected from premarital sex.

However, on the flip side, there are cultural practices that encouraged fornication and adultery.

Such should be discarded. We should be guided by justice and love.

Most, if not all, are out of date, and should be discarded. Each person should be wise in choosing how to live.
