Believe it or not, Greek mythology is one of the building blocks of modern religion. Even Christianity takes some things from this pagan belief system. Modern society needs to be reminded that just because it's classic, doesn't mean it's dead.

I’ve been studying Greek mythology since 4th grade. It’s fascinating. Ever since Christianity became popular and not under persecution by the state, all the elements and themes in Greek mythology slowly went into retirement. However, modern writers and historians have noticed what we took from them. Dan Brown, for example, wrote about pagan symbols in Christianity in Angels and Demons and The Da Vinci Code. He mentioned specifically about the Christians’ visualization of God as an old man. Very clever. I bet the Catholic Church couldn’t get around that one. Anyway, there are so many relevant myths and stories that speak out even today, with their morals and lessons and advice. The gods and goddesses themselves are a model of human vice and virtue, and an ironic display of how humans interpreted the supernatural by outlining their own flaws in possible divinities. The point is that you should not scoff at scholars of the Classics…they are onto something here. And it is quite possible that we, modern society, may still learn from the ancients and their paganism.

A case study reveals a hidden code in "The Last Supper", whereby the operator provided another great flood that will end the world on one November 4006.

The Da Vinci Code there, only it is different from the Dan Brown bestseller. This emerges from a study by researcher Vatican Archives Sabrina Sforza Galicia, which has echoed The Times newspaper today.

The specialist said that “The Last Supper contains a hidden code, based on astrology and mathematics, which has finally been deciphered and reveal their predictions about the end of the world.

The how and when to end humanity is under a formula coded in the window in the center of the wall, just above Jesus. In particular, Da Vinci predicted that the March 21 start of 4006 another flood that would destroy our existence down on 1 November the same year.

This research also tracked throughout the genius of his thoughts and beliefs about doomsday. In this sense, Sabrina Sforza notes that, as revealed in Revelation, Da Vinci had seen that the history of humanity leads to “the sum of all things, the Final Judgement,” and that it saw the beginning of a new era.

Sabrina Sforza Galicia also states that it is not unusual to find coded messages in his creations, and that Da Vinci lived hard times and thus protected them from harm.

Secret Societies.

I started the last tell the Freemasons by Michael Bradley’s book “Secret Societies Handbook” with the text. Now, this same book to write Illuminati this way:

The club’s founding in 1748, is a Jewish rabbi born in the family, Dr. Adam Weishaupt. Later, he was a Catholic and was Jesuit education. He was the first church of Ingolstadt University law professor, but a Jesuit and a theologian. According to Wikipedia, this caused much controversy between him and his colleagues, and finally culminated in the hatred of the Jesuits, and he also became an atheist.

Chart created from different idealogioiden.

He founded a secret society “Illuminatenorden der” Brotherhood of the Illuminati, who fought against the domination of religious and contributed scientific and atheistic worldview. Organization name is said to be derived from the teachings of Lucifer, because that means light bearer. The organization was initially composed of five members, but the distribution began in the Masonic Adolf Kniggenin through accession to the brotherhood of enlightened 1780. Freemasons were a model, the value system and that they also became a mystery. This explains what I myself have often wondered when talking about the Freemasons and the Illuminati, why their symbols (eg, eye of Horus, or the all seeing eye pyramid) are so similar and come in talking about from either company. Illuminati is also a great “logo” ambigrammi, the text of the Illuminati is also available when the image rotated 180 °. Illuminati mystics also includes five position, which represents the elements. Elements have been ambigrammi. Yet one of these pictures the artist’s website.

Weishaupt wanted to destroy the church and create a new world governance. He believed that the war, ignorance and the pursuit of power should be done if at the end of Christianity should be replaced with the “absurd religion.” At first it was therefore itself be a lot of power start.

“Illuminati was supposed to be the secret of liberalism and the media union. Weishaupt studied the anti-Christian teachings, astrology, medicine and the occult. He was influenced by the Pythagoreans a secret cult, which believed that all men and women should share their assets. Which is what became later one of the main principles of communism. “Writes Bradley. Illum 1776 support of the House of Rothschild Bank. The Rothschilds made a breakthrough in the battle of Waterloo at a time when they had inside knowledge of Napoleon’s disappearance and selling shares correctly, they made a lot of this knowledge for profit. Today, the family is said to aiming towards a federal Europe.

Illuminati believe that the best way to destroy religion, humanity was divided into different ideologies and faiths, and get them to fight each other, this would undermine the organized religions, and national governments.

The subject is also well displayed excellent film called “Angels and Demons,” based on Dan Brown’s book of the same name.

Are there really any secretive societies out there which people need to be worried about? Or is it all just false information?

There are a lot of whispers across the internet of Secret Societies that pull on invisible strings to have their bidding done. Some are extremely well known, and others less so. But there is no doubt that everyone at some point has heard of some form of secretive society, be it a small local organisation which simply ensures that they constantly make money, or a more widespread and truly malevolent society which manipulates the whole world using its malicious powers.

Thanks to the likes of Dan Brown and his novel, Angels and Demons, almost everyone has heard of the infamous and most well known (and depending on who you ask, the most powerful) secret society: the Illuminati. A massive organisation which pulls the strings on governments across the world, the Illuminati conspiracy is the pinnacle of secret society fearmongering, with their name being used as the villains in countless stories and movies.

Some lesser well known secret societies exist however. Though these get less screentime in Hollywood, depending on who you ask each secretive society is just as powerful as any other. Every conspiracy theorist has their own belief on who the major power among the world of the secret society is. For some, it is the Bilderbergers; a select group of powerful men which some claim are the same organisation as the Illuminati. Yet others are convinced the malevolent power of the secret society begins in the years of education, proclaiming the fraternity Skull and Bones as the greatest evil threatening true free will in politics.

Even religion is not safe from the corruption posed by secretive societies. The Knights Templar are a supposed secret society within the Christian faith, one which became famous with Dan brown’s book, The Da Vinci Code. Sworn to protect the holy bloodline of Jesus Christ, the Knights Templar are simply another secret society for the world to grow paranoid about.

Shadow governments and the secret society phenomenon will always plague humanity, feeding off our paranoia and our insatiable thirst for a more interesting world. Be it one secret society or another, some secretive organisation will always be hiding in the shadows, manipulating the world for their own ends.

The Lateran Treaties of 1929 signed the end of the Roman Question and established Vatican City as a state. Besides the Swiss Guard, Pope Pius XI had two more guard corps to rely on for the security of the new state. The Noble Guard was a cavalry unit whose members were drawn from the Papal nobility in existence since 1801. The Palatine Guard was a foot unit drawn from the citizens of the city of Rome. The three guards were supplemented in 1929 with a police force called the Gendarmerie Corps.

In 1970, Pope Paul VI introduced budget cuts. The Noble Guard and the Palatine Guard were disbanded to save money. Security of Pope and Vatican would in future be the responsibility of the Swiss Guard and the Gendarmerie Corps. The Gendarmerie Corps was converted to a proper police force while the Swiss Guard added even more representative duties to its curriculum. The Vatican is a member of Interpol since 2008.

Immediately after the Lateran Treaties, Switzerland unilaterally granted permission to its citizens to enter the Swiss Guards in Vatican City as policemen. Since then, members of the guard are citizens of the Vatican for the duration of their service, too.

In 1998, the commander of the Swiss Guard together with his wife was found murdered in his apartment. The Gendarmerie Corps botched the crime scene and the investigation most efficiently. This gave rise to countless conspiracy theories. Comparable flights of fancy were instigated by Dan Brown’s fictitious account of how the Swiss Guards operate.

Pope John Paul II had decreed that the members of the guard and the Gendarmerie should not be armed except with pepper spray; they don’t wear any bulletproof vests, either. Comparing the gaffes of worldwide security forces with their high tech toys to the Pope’s reliance on the protection of God, I’d say it works rather well. It’s definitely cheaper, too.

In honour of the 500 years of service of the Swiss Guard, the swearing in of the new recruits was held publicly on St. Peter’s Square in 2006. A similar spectacle might be expected in 2027 for the 500 year jubilee of the Sack of Rome.

The flag of the Swiss Guard shows a white cross (for Switzerland) quartering it. The second and the third quarter show the (Medici) colours of yellow, blue, and red for the guard. The fourth quarter shows the coat of arms of Pope Julius II. The first quarter shows the coat of arms of the reigning Pope. During a vacancy of the See after a Popes death, the coat of arms is shown completely white. In the middle of the flag the coat of arms of the commander is shown. In case of a vacancy in that position, it also shows up white.

The Swiss Guard has three patron saints; St. Martin of Tours, St. Sebastian, and St. Nicklaus von Flüe. The latter is also called Pater Patriae (Father of the Swiss Nation) and is the patron saint for Switzerland.

Do you like strong feelings or sensations? Here are some things you might want to give a shot make yourself feel so high:

1. Attempt a double backflip on the ground. Careful you can seriously injury yourself doing this. After intense training you will faint at the highness of your jump but seeing the ground and the sky twice before you set your feet on the ground again… that’s a feeling!

2. Hit 90 KMH with your bicycle. I did not reach the 90 KMH yet but I am very close (88 KMH) and just the wind in your face and the fact you can fall anytime gives you an incredible boost of adrenaline.

3. Drink 4 Redbulls in one day. WARNING: The limit is two, if you read the instructions. All your muscles will be very tense because of caffeine and all your body and your mind too will be in top shape. This was how I got my driving license. With tons of caffeine you will think faster and have a slower reaction time.

4. Be two nights without going to bed. Read a lot in that time. Read spiritual books or deep books such as Dan Brown’s and you will see how a tired brain opens itself to new ideas. Once you sleep in the third night, the following morning will feel a bless and you can’t wait to implement new ideas.

5. Saturate your mind and your body. You know, once you learn how to ride a bicycle, you learn forever. Once you become saturated of listening to a song, you will saturate it forever. If you are trying to pass any university exam the best thing to do is to saturate your mind with the information you need to pass the exam. Read it once, read it 100 times.

6. Get the adrenaline of life threatening situations. Join any competition that requires a lot of violence to win. Kick box is probably the best.

Does it really work this Law of Attraction? Millions of dollars are spent every year in such products yet no one explains how it works and how exactly you can use it. All these authors try is to sell the next book or video.

“Everything is about attraction!”. Yeah right, if that is so, and if you attracted cancer for example, how can children die because of cancer? Even a baby that drinks poison dies not because of his thoughts but because of the cause and effect thing.

“You can have anything you want” just by thinking about it. Yes, I am sure if you think hard enough about it, the atoms will assemble together into a new BMW or a Ferrari. What a concept. I am feeling seduced to try it once. They even give the example of unexpected gifts from other people. What is this? Forcing others to give us things? Enslaving them?

Even Dan Brown in his latest book The Lost Symbol gives the example of how thoughts might have a mass you can measure and how you can use it to maybe attract things. What this brilliant author forgot to write is that your thoughts have little significant mass, much less enough to attract what you want with it. Holistic science is not yet real science.

Finally, I am sure all the books and DVD’s they sold assembled themselves together with no work, after all…

An article discussing Noetic Science, it's principals and aims to prove the effects of a collective consciousness.

The first time I had heard of Noetic Science, was when I started reading Dan Browns novel, The Lost Symbol. However, within a few chapters, I was eager to find out more about the subject.

The word Noetic is derived from the Greek word “Nous”, which is a philosophical term for mind or intellect. The Institute of Noetic Science (IONS) was founded in 1973 by Edgar Mitchell (former Apollo 14 astronaut) & Paul Temple. Upon Edgar Mitchell’s space flight on Apollo 14, he had an overwhelming experience of feeling at one with the universe. It was for this reason that prompted him to found IONS.

IONS aim to explore how the mind works such as the consciousness, spirit or soul and how this interacts with the physical world. For example people who have experienced visions (precognition), or those who can communicate with the spirit world (clairvoyance/clairaudience) or individuals who have the ability to heal people or have telepathic abilities, are such subjects areas that IONS are interested in exploring, to try and have a better understanding of how these amazing abilities work and the effect that they have on the physical world.

However, rather than IONS studying results on an individual case by case basis, the science studies that are currently being explored are regarding the collective consciousness and what effect they can have on the physical world.

While some may dismiss the studies of IONS as hogwash or sheer nonsense, it’s interesting to know that the principal beliefs that IONS are studying have been practiced for hundreds if not thousands of years through many different civilisations.

For example, individuals who have experienced visions include Nostradamus, Jesus Christ and the Prophet Muhammad lived hundreds of years ago.

The Aztecs, Mayans and Egyptians had strong links with cosmology (the metaphysical study of the origin and nature of the universe) and the afterlife.

The Hindu’s practiced Yoga, a discipline aimed at training the consciousness for a state of perfect spiritual insight is thought to be as old as 5000 years.

The mind is a complex and powerful tool and despite being studied for hundreds of years, there are still many secrets we are not privy to. Therefore the research and findings of IONS could open up possibilities that at present we can only dream of.

For those who are interested in IONS and would like further information please visit their website - http://www.noetic.org/

If you would like to take part in their research, you may like to participate in some of IONS psi games: http://www.ions.org/research/psi.cfm

Meditation expands your mind and increases your brain power. This is already a fact. Scientist use the most advanced brain

equipment to see brain getting as much as 10% bigger after meditation.

Meditation is not just to calm you down, it’s also to pump your mind to achive more. Your mind is the only limitation you have in your life and according to religion God hides something very powerful, God hides all His power in the place you expect the least to find, inside your mind. For more information about the mind read Dan Brown’s Lost Symbol.

If you want to meditate here is what you must do:

1. Remove all the heavy clothes you are wearing, this includes any coat, shoes, socks, and also tight trousers. Be as comfortable as you can.

2. Remove all the disturbing sounds. Turn off the email, the mobile phone, turn also off the home bell for a while.

3. Sit or lay down in a very comfortable place where you can fall asleep if you cannot control yourself in the first times.

4. You can meditate in two ways, one is to close your eyes and the other is to focus just in a particular object. Monks prefer to focus on candles.

5. Another two ways now, one is to let your mind wander and see what happens, what new ideas you get, the other is to focus very intensively on the problem you are experiencing right now. The first one is for beginners, the second for advanced users of meditation.

Try meditation and comment your results. I cannot feel any of the effects described by the monks, I can only relax but nothing I can’t do just by sitting down.

Rennes-le-Château, a small medieval village in southwestern France, is internationally renowned for being in the middle of probably the greatest Conspiracy Theory of the 20th Century. A local restaurant owner wanted to increase business and spread some rumours of a lost treasure... And this was the origin for the non-fiction bestseller The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail or Dan Brown's historical faction thriller The Da Vinci Code.

Father Bérenger Saunière arrived in Rennes-le-Château in 1885. He soon was spending large sums of money, funding several building projects, such as the Church of Mary Magdalene. According to the rumours spread by Noël Corbu, who had opened in the fifties a restaurant in L’Hotel de la Tour, the former estate of Saunière, the source of his wealth was a treasure, hidden inside a pillar in his church.

An Elaborate Hoax

His story attracted Pierre Plantard, who wanted to play a vital role in the history of France and concocted an elaborate hoax, planting fake documents in the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, that implied Plantard was a descendant of a royal dynasty. In 1967, Gérard de Sède published a book about his friend’s claim to fame. They chose the area and history of Rennes-le-Château as their setting.

The next step was The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail, in 1982 published by Michael Baigent, Richard Leigh and Henry Lincoln. They said Saunière found documents implying that the descendants of Jesus and Mary Magdalene were connected to the French royalty. Saunière found them in his church, in a Visigothic pillar, in 1891.

Image via Wikipedia

Saunière had been a teacher in the seminary of Narbonne, but being undisciplined, he was appointed in 1885 to Rennes-le-Château. He renovated the church, built a grand estate for himself (the Villa Bethania) and a personal library which resembled the Tower of David in Jerusalem (the Tour Magdala). In 1896, the bishop of Carcassone investigated how Saunière had been able to fund these building projects. The bishop relocated him to a different parish, but Saunière refused and resigned. In 1910 he was tried for fraud; he had been selling masses he never performed. In 1917, Saunière died in poverty.

Some theories developing around Rennes-le-Château and Bérenger Saunière said that the Catholic Church was paying the priest vast sums to buy his silence, because he knew all about The Holy Blood – also known as The Holy Grail (Sang Royal, San Greal, Saint Grail) -, being “the bloodline of Christ”. He might even have discovered the grave in which Christ had been buried. Arch-heretics such as the Templars and the Cathars once were the safekeepers of the Secret. It was also the reason why Saunière lost his belief and got involved with trendy occultist and maybe satanist circles in Paris, featuring the composer Claude Debussy, the Belgian symbolist playwright Maurice Maeterlinck or that other “decadent” writer, Joris-Karl Huysmans. He also knew Emma Calvé, the Maria Callas of her age, who was a high priestess of a Parisian esoteric sub-culture.

And Nothing More?

The Mystery of Rennes-le-Château is probably a hoax, made of facts and fiction, and inspired by hard facts that had nothing to do with southern France, but with the Dutch speaking part of Belgium, Flanders. I even strongly believe that the hoax was made up to turn the attention of the public away from the real secret that was kept in Bruges.

In 1891, the year Saunière allegedly “found” something in his church, Joris-Karl Huysmans – born in Paris from a Dutch father – published his novel Là-Bas (translated as Down There or The Damned) and was the cause of a public scandal because of his depiction of satanist circles in Paris. The novel had a very vivid Black Mass scene, calling Jesus Christ an “Artisan of Hoaxes”, a “do-nothing King”, a “coward God”.

Image via Wikipedia

The “abominable truth” was that the canon Docre, Huysmans’ black mass celebrant, could be identified as the Flemish priest Louis or Lodewijk Van Haecke, Chaplain of the Holy Blood Chapel in Bruges. Docre/Van Haecke was reputed to have the tattoo of a cross on the soles of his feet, so that he could walk continually upon the symbol of the Saviour. Huysmans said that Van Haecke paid three visits to Paris, where he moved in occultist circles. He was seen in an establishment known for “its clientèle of renegade priests”.

Huysmans stated that the Chaplain of the Holy Blood, keeper of the Holy Grail, lost his faith because Jesus, “the Artisan of Hoaxes”, didn’t die at Golgotha… And who brought the one and only Holy Blood – or Holy Grail – in the 12th century to Bruges? The Knights Templar, together with a Count of Flanders, whose son later would commission Chrétien de Troyes to write the first Grail romance…
