An ancient treasure, hidden behind an almost impenetrable barrier of rugged mountains.

South of Jordan is a mysterious ruin that is astonishing. It is legend that the ancient Bedouin tribes believed that This beautiful place was a storehouse for Pharaoh’s great riches that had been concealed here by a powerful black magician.

An ancient treasure, hidden behind an almost impenetrable barrier of rugged mountains, Petra is full of mysterious charm and incomparable beauty. It has been said that there is no other site in the world that is equal to Petra. The legacy of the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab people who settled in southern Jordan more than 2000 years ago, Petra has an ingenious complex of dams and water channels throughout the city That attest to the architectural skill of this ancient people.

Perhaps the most famous monument in Petra, the treasury building is a stunning piece of architecture that is captivating as you gaze on it’s facade carved with images of Nabataean deities and mythological characters. The original purpose of this building was not as a treasury but more likely as a tomb or possibly a temple.

Image via Wikipedia

Most of Petra’s deities were associated with the underworld and death. The City itself is full of tombs and the treasury is a cornucopia of funerary symbolism carved on the facade certainly leading to some association with the dead.

Sela, is a location known today as Petra – located approximately 50 miles south of the eastern side of the Dead Sea. As a highly defensible location it was the capital of Edom, whose territory stretched northward to the Dead Sea. Access to the Valley where Petra is located is generally through the eastern ridge via the Sig/Sik (”cleft”), a narrow, winding geologic fissure through the rock.

The earliest inhabitants of this area now known as Petra were the Horites, or Hurrians. Later, Esau, the brother of Jacob, settled in the territory south of the Dead Sea, and his descendants, the Edomites, gradually replaced the Hurrians. The Edomites lived here when Israel came from Egypt during the Exodus, about 1445 BC. About 400 BC, the Edomites were driven out by the Arabian Nabataeans. The Nabataeans built beautiful palaces, temples, theatres, and tombs hewn out of solid rock. The inhabitants of this phenomenal city worshiped many Gods but mainly the sun. And as part of their worship they offered human sacrifices.

The city is located near Mount Hor which is the location in scripture, where Aaron the brother of Moses is said to have died. This is generally believed to be true by The Jews and Arabs in the region. A 14th century mosque stands there with its white dome visible from most areas in and around Petra.

Knowledge of Petra was lost to the Western world until Swiss explorer John Lewis Burckhardt tricked his Bedouin guides into leading him there in 1812. After spending several years learning Arabic and studying the tenets of Islam, Burckhardt, who passed himself off as a Muslim from India. By claiming he wished to make a sacrifice at the tomb of Aaron which was nearby, he gained entry to the legendary forgotten city of Petra. He recorded all that he saw and opened up the mystery of an ancient legend to the rest of the world.

The West Bank is one of the territories occupied by Israel since 1967. In addition to Jewish settlements built on it falls under the Palestinian Authority. It is this territory should be the core of a future independent Palestinian state, but there are major disputes over borders. Israel does not want to abandon Jewish settlements built on it.

The West Bank is situated on the territory of historic Palestine. It occupies an area of 5878 km ² area. This area is counted and East Jerusalem, which Israel annexed, and the Northern Quarter area of the Dead Sea , into which the mouth of the River Jordan. According to the Palestinian data from 2010 it is home to 2.515 million Palestinians, one million of them in occupied East Jerusalem. Those in the majority profess Islam. Another political complication is that about a third of Palestinians in the area are descendants of refugees who left Israel during the first war in 1948 and claim the right of return.

In Jewish settlements in the West Bank lives up to 304,000 Israelis, then another 190,000 in East Jerusalem. Earlier data reported a total of 360,000 Israelis living in the occupied territories.

They represent one of the key problems of resolving the Israeli-Palestinian peace agreement . Israel is rejects their removal to the territory of Israel , as was the case in the Gaza Strip , but which was only about 8,000 people.

The area extends from Jenin in the northern mountainous area to the north shore of the Dead Sea . The largest town is East Jerusalem, other cities are Ramallah, home to the Palestinian Authority, Jericho, Nablus, Hebron, Bethlehem Jenin, a majority of seats, which have strong ties to Jews and Christians.

From bondage to the British Jordanian and Israeli

The whole of Palestine, until the end of the First World War in the hands of the Ottoman Empire. After her fall from the end of World War II as administered by the British mandate territory. When, after World War II determined where it will be the state of Israel , this area fell to the Arabs. Promulgated but was 14 May a state of Israel , which immediately attacked militarily League of Arab States , consisting of Egypt , Tobago, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq.
After the war, which Israel has defended its independence, the area occupied Jordan, which recognize only the United Kingdom. Jordan’s King Abdullah had himself crowned King of Jerusalem and promised the Arabs who live in the Jordanian citizenship. The area also many Arabs fled from the newly created Israel .

Palestinian demonstrators in Hebron, shouting anti-Israel slogans.

Jordan ruled the West Bank until 1967. During the Six Day War, the Jordanian army bombards the territory of Israel and penetrated into the western part of Jerusalem. In a counterattack, but the Israeli forces conquered the area and since it occupies. Israel has not withdrawn from it, as demanded by UN Security Council UN .

Colonization of the Occupied Territories

Israel, the area in contravention of international law began to colonize. They began to build Jewish settlements , which had divided the integrity of the occupied Arab territories. The small settlement was eventually occupied by the ten thousandth of the Jews, which makes reaching a peace agreement with the Palestinians, as Israel insists that the largest settlements such as Ariel, Ma’ale Adumim and Betar Illit will be attached to Israel . The security barrier to protect Israel , in addition there are the rights in the occupied territory and not on its border.
An even greater complication is East Jerusalem, which Israel annexed in 1980 and declared its capital, while at the same time declared the indivisibility of Jerusalem. But the Palestinians want the city returned to them and became the capital of their future state .

Upgrading the Palestinian Authority

Israel has previously managed the entire region, but under the Oslo Accords of 1993, which followed after Jordan renounced claims to the area and announced that the Palestinians are, of gradually passed under the Palestinian Authority. Areas marked A, where he lives 55 percent of all Palestinians in the West Bank , are under full Palestinian control. It is mainly the larger cities, which have been transferred under the Palestinian Authority since the latter half of the nineties.

Damaged cemetery

In area B, where 41 percent of Palestinians live, the Palestinian Authority is working, but there overseeing the safety of Israel . Area C is under full Israeli administration. In those four percent of Palestinians live on the West Bank , but occupy 59 percent of the territory. Areas B and C refer to the Palestinians in the occupied territories.

The functioning of the Palestinian Authority is complicated in that it managed areas are usually small and unconnected, the total of 227 areas there are 199 less than two square kilometers. Frequently the restrictions of movement, even though tens of thousands of Palestinians working in Israel or receive work from Israeli companies.

Legendary cities that were destroyed in the Bible and in the Mahabharata show classic book examples of being obliterated by some kind of an atomic explosion very similar to modern-day nuclear weapons.

Image via Wikipedia

Ancient history theorist and researchers looking for evidence of ancient Atomic warfare don’t have to look very far when they can clearly read the Scriptures in the Christian Bible about the annihilation of the biblical cities known as Sodom and Gomorrah. The Bible dictates that God was angry by the sinful behavior of the inhabitants of these two cities and that God would send down a raining burning death to destroy these unholy places. The biblical story describes how the angels came to Lot’s house who is related to virtuous Abraham, and orders him to gather up his family and leave immediately, never looking back, under any circumstances, as God destroys Sodom and Gomorrah with fire and brimstone.

Lot obeys the command and quickly flees the city with his family. However, despite warnings by the angels, Lot’s wife dares to look back at the city in an act of disobedience, and promptly dies turning into a pillar of salt. The exact same warning can be said when viewing a nuclear explosion close up, the flash from a nuclear explosion is deadly, scientists say turn away, otherwise, blindness and instant death will occur.

As divine judgment was implemented by God on Sodom and Gomorrah, the descriptions of a massive of cloud of smoke and burning sulfur, and transforming in a flash anything within the blast radius into salt and ash, virtually leaving nothing alive in the vicinity for years to come, sounds to all intents and purposes similar to what happens in a nuclear explosion, with the typical mushroom shaped cloud spewing tons of dirt and debris miles into the sky, raining down deadly radioactive fallout upon anyone and anything that is standing too close to it.

Modern-day archaeologists have claimed to have found the ruins of Sodom and Gomorrah, southeast of the Dead Sea, and seemed to vindicate much of the Bibles’ scriptures account of two cities totally devastated by tons of ash and enveloped by incinerating sulfur balls. Investigation of these ruins in the Dead Sea has discovered evidence that the remains of the cities were subjected to intense heat over 9000°F from above.

When scientists and researchers begin to examine the possibility of atomic warfare in prehistory by surveying the entire globe for any signs or clues they discover actual confirmation of that fact. What they find is startling evidence of unexplainable anomalies of vitrification beyond any known volcanic activity in the area and crater-like blast radius with high levels of radiation that persist today all over the planet.

Modern-day scientist are perplexed by the amount of glassy sand and fused silicon found in areas of rediscovered lost cities of ancient times known in ancient literature to have been targeted for annihilation by either God or some other warring race of people. Believers of ancient atomic warfare claim validation can be found not only in the pages of holy Scriptures, but on the Earth’s own surface as well, and what is buried beneath the ground for thousands years and some speculate perhaps even older, going back as far as 10,000 years ago cities that have been utterly destroyed by some kind of nuclear explosion.

Two years ago, my husband was involved in a terrible accident. Due to severe injures on the brain he lost his potency. We were in our lovely peak when this happened. With constant pain and disorders he finally dead. It very devastating when this happened. I wasn’t prepared to find myself in a dark world considering my age of 44 and childless. Who will I be with without my ability to have kids?

All I wanted in my entire life is to have a man who love me for who I am and a sizeable family. Not having these basics meant I have nobody to talk to and share ideas and nobody to play with. I was not whole without my long hoped vision of these.

My near relatives were a trauma to me. I couldn’t walk out of my house with a little pride but I was determining to put my vision and my self esteem back on track. My church members were supportive. Colleagues in the church adjusted their own lives in order to keep my spirit up. They helped me by making my life busy so as to forget the past although it was though. At 46 I did not want to leave an impression that everything is lost. I relied on my faith and believe that life must flow no matter what happen.

When a pool of anything stops flowing, it becomes stagnant. Stagnant water breeds disease and death. It can’t be breathed. It can’t receive any more. If nothing is flowing out, there’s no room for anything else to come in.

When bad thought clouds my mind I start thinking as if the world is going without me. Believing that I can overcome the obstacle was critical. Fortunately the lord stepped in by introducing me to a wonderful friend by name Johnny. Johnny made me felt so special and we dated a couple of times. Johnny made me believe that I can start again. I have never been so happy in my life. He did not felt jealous if spoke to his friends. He always held my hand proudly and introduced me to his friends. Johnny was with me through thick and thin and we finally got married.

Recently, I was felling feverishness and I went to the hospital to check up and I was diagnosing of pregnancy symptoms. I was three month pregnant. It was a joy of my life. Johnny could not hide his joy when he heard of my pregnancy as he keeps on shouting I have made it, I have made it!

Today I am proud to tell readers that I have delivered twine, one bouncy boy and girl namely Paul and Juliet. Any time I carry them I bring forth tears, but they are tears of pure joy. I am currently preparing for their first year birthday party.

Folks take this advice from Helen Keller which says’ face your deficiencies and acknowledge them; but do not let them master you. Let them teach you patience, sweetness and insight. God bless you.

There’s a valuable illustration here. Many of us believe that we need to RECEIVE more of something in order to be happy. Whether what we desire is money or love or something else, we think that we need MORE of it in order to be fulfilled. As a result of this, we begin to operate in fear and therefore don’t GIVE anything because we’re afraid that we won’t have enough. The result? Like the Dead Sea, we become lifeless.

When we don’t GIVE, we die.

The solution? Give.

As you give, you WILL receive. It’s a universal law. You see it at work in nature. You see it at work in the economy. You see it at work everywhere, because it’s true.

We’ve somehow been deceived into believing that if we DON’T give, we’ll have MORE. Or we’re afraid that if we DO give, that we won’t have anything left. On one hand, this seems to make sense. But it doesn’t work. Because when we don’t give, we shut off the flow of what’s coming in.

If you truly desire to receive more of something, start giving it away. I know this sounds crazy, but it works. If you want someone to be kind to you, be kind to them. If you want love in your life, love someone. If you want money, give some money away. If you want joy in your life, give joy to someone else.

The universe only responds when we act. Take the first step and watch miracles begin to happen. Too often we’re waiting for something to come to us first. Take the initiative. Give and you WILL receive.
