Many in the rural population are getting interested in this debate as many are beginning to realize that the President has ruled for close to 27 years and could still run 2016.

The National Resistance Movement Party recently called for caucus meeting of all Members of Parliament that belong to the ruling party and had a wide range of issues on governance line up for discussions. However, many observers believe that the main reason this caucus meeting was convened seemed to be around the growing public debate on Presidential term limit.

When the President came to open the retreat at State House in Entebbe, he warned Party members who go about discussing party matters outside the legally accepted party fora to stop it forth with or face disciplinary actions. His warnings particularly were directed at the errant Members of Parliament, code-named “Rebel MPs” who often talked their minds in Public about the ills within the Party, instead tackling such problems within the established Party structures.

The President amused the MPs when he compared the Rebel MPs of the ruling NRM to a disorganized soccer team, where as soon as the ball is been handled in the box during a competitive match by one of their own team members , they quickly rush to the referee and the linesmen to demand that a penalty be awarded against their own side! He sternly warned the Rebel MPs to stop the debate on term limits forth with and that any member who continued to engage in these debates would be expelled from the party.

The Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi, who is also the Party Secretary General equally reminded the Ugandan public that term limits for the president was not so important for good governance because in developed democracies like France and the UK, term limits do not exist. The government however, has allowed the public and the civil society organizations to debate term limits as much as they like. Many rural populations are getting interested in this debate as many are getting to see that the President has ruled for close to 27 years and he still seems interested in standing in 2016.

Upon watching debates, you can easily watch, listen, and absorb information. However, very few people are actually trained in identifying flaws upon reviewing anyone in debate. Get past the poker face and identify flaws before the expert tells you!

The top key issues to view are economics, industrialization, vision, military foundation, and on international relations. These subjects are the basics of items to view. From these areas, you can break them down into sub categories in your perspective. As much as the President can amplify these areas of concentration, remember that he does not have supreme authority like a dictator. They will try to push for them just as long as there is some control throughout government. This will make any type of policy a second look, based on the control the House of Representatives, Senate, and the authorities on the Justice Panel.

Also, the candidates in the upcoming election will attempt to communicate those desires into the debates. Based on your research, make sure your candidate has a political background, a voting record, a platform, and a consistent belief into the position of their office. If the person you want does not hold all of these things, decide which things are more important and most consist with what you want changed.

When you have the opportunity to watch any of the debates, watch them. Even though the moderator may attempt to shift topics of discussion towards a certain trend, make sure the moderator is fair. If certain candidates get more speaking time, there is unfairness towards certain candidates. The topics of discussion can’t always be a strong or weak topic to skew political intentions.

Listen to the answers given. Most politicians are excellent, if not good, actors. They already have their answers memorized. Listen for voice inflection, canter, and pitch. You want your candidate focused and confident in their vision. Interruption in voice, rehearsed answers, or wrong pitch can be a result of underlying emotion. If this is the case, then the answer given is suspect to any sort of criticism. However, this criticism should only be given by an accredited individual. When you start listening to someone speak more, you gain better understanding and appreciation for public speakers.

Facial reactions and eye movements are another thing to look at. The facial movements should be added onto your debate criticisms. In my honest opinion, I have always thought that an individual who stares, have an intense gaze, or unwavering eye movement is someone who is giving an honest-to-God answer or a bold faced liar. Certain eye movements can give a very perspective view on how that person remembers or recalls their information. Based on the eye movements, you can always tell how the individual thinks, learns, and responds. The Nero-Linguistic Programming, or NLP, holds a degree of truth to reading the persons’ eye movements.

The next biggest things to listen for in a debate are the communication fallacies. If you pay attention, and remember the original question, you will begin to realize that candidates do not respond to the actual question. When you think about it, the candidates will only listen for the topic of discussion, mainly because the question is not what they are really answering. Most of the time, the candidates will discuss their interpretation.

All of these factors are not easily recognizable at first, but over time you can train yourself to see these things. Upon more review and practice, you can practice through any former debates and becoming self-aware of any candidate. As it is said, “Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance.” When you practice for these things, you can train your eyes and ears for any breaks in people patterns.

Let Republicans froth at the mouth -- let America see what they're all about.

The participant we most hope to hear from in tonight’s GOP debate is the audience. Muzzled on Monday by an unusually stern Brian Williams (the possibilities for humor are endless, but debate moderators have taken enough abuse of late), audience members responded with stoic acceptance. There was little to relish in the resulting chat-up, and it appeared obvious that the bombastic Newt Gingrich felt most hampered by the New Quietism.

Let the audience react! insists Mr. Gingrich, who has threatened not to participate in any future debate where the audience has been instructed to be silent. Yes! we agree. Loudly, with standing ovation.

The best thing about this multitude of debates has been the utter delight in knowing that all of America is getting to see Republicans being Republicans. What used to be done in back rooms, or “quiet rooms,” as Mitt Romney terms his ideal of secretive government, what used to be done under the cover of white hoods and bed sheets, is now made public, for all of America to see. Let America see Republicans cheering for the death penalty and the unplugging of coma victims. Let America hear them – and watch them – boo one of our (gay) soldiers and boo the word “Mexico.” Indeed, we hope for more visuals, more pans of the audience as they work themselves into corpulent frenzy, cuts to their screaming faces reminiscent of “America’s Got Talent,” the collective anger of Unfit White Men Behaving Badly.

Eighteen debates. How many more? Fifty – was that the number bandied about? Thank you again, whatever mole the Democrats inserted into the GOP leadership cabal. (Ahem.) (See our previous column dated Jan. 21, “Michael Steele – Our Own Kim Philby?”) Somebody actually thought this would be a good idea for Republicans. Remarkable.

The GOP has staked its political survival for decades on scapegoating. It’s worked, in the short run. Identify an outgroup, vilify it, rally the base against its evils and its dangers. It doesn’t matter who the outgroup consists of – African-Americans, gays, latinos, Muslims, homosexuals – just beat them with a stick and hope the other primates who kinda look like you will jump in on your side. It’s the bully factor, writ nationally. Works every time – in the short run.

In the long run, the GOP has lost those groups, and it doesn’t stand a chance in hell of getting them back. Huge blocks of voters, forever lost. Ninety-plus percent of African-Americans. Sixty-five percent of latinos. An uncertain percentage of homosexuals, but doubtless most (with the exception of all the closeted gays in Republican leadership positions, but that will be the stuff of future writings.)

This unprecedented primary makes the guts of the Republican party transparent, everything they’re about, from the plutocracy of Romney to the demagoguery of Gingrich. The Republicans wanted a referendum on the president. What they’re going to get is a referendum on their own party, a party that has failed, repeatedly, when given power, and has moved so far outside the mainstream of American life as to be unrecognizable.

We reiterate: Please let the GOP audience react. Encourage them, even. Toss the red meat, Newt. America is watching.

Mitch Daniels channels (yawn) Herbert Hoover in the Republican response to President Obama's State of the Union Address.

Our level of anticipation last night was not for the President’s State of the Union address (we knew he would do well), so much as for the GOP rebuttal, to be delivered by the esteemed Mitch Daniels, Governor of Indiana. Gov. Daniels has been ceaselessly touted as The One, The Man Who Could Have Been, a Republican contender who might have ignited a feeling loftier than boredom or disgust.

Which really is where the GOP candidates currently reside, with Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich having staked out terrain on opposing ends of that continuum. On Mr. Romney’s patch of Boredom we remember, vaguely, the forgettable faces of Tim Pawlenty and Jon Huntsman. Over in the Slough of Disgust paddled, for a time, Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain. (The always anomalous Rick Perry managed to occupy an outlier position of Southern Fried Stupid.)

The Republican loyal, though they would probably not share our terminology, have sensed for months that something is Not Quite Right with their candidates, and have searched far and wide for a contender who would not embarrass them in the general election. They have pleaded with Chris Christie, toyed with Marco Rubio, and actively courted Mitch Daniels. (Rick Santorum, just clever enough to sniff the wind, has taken to referring to himself as the Goldilocks Candidate. As in “not too hot, not too cold,” or, to fit the paradigm of today’s column, lying somewhere in the comfortable middle of the boredom/disgust continuum. We do not think this tactic will work for him – his poll numbers stagnate in the low teens, in Florida and nationally. And it is probably not wise for a man of such delicate appearance, who has fixated so greatly in his career on the vilification of homosexuals and their “agenda,” to refer to himself using fairy tale terminology. Just saying.) The courting of Gov. Daniels continues, as the GOP lovelorn are, by turns, either bored or disgusted with the men in their lives.

Last night, Gov. Daniels frankly disappointed. He rests on the far end of the boredom scale, not quite a Pawlenty, but close. He gave a speech that Herbert Hoover might have been proud of, proclaiming that math might save us, or somesuch. We remained awake, just. Little more can be said.

One serious candidate runs who neither bores nor disgusts. The prediction markets ticked upward in his favor after President Obama’s State of the Union address last night, and downward for his Republican rivals. The rhetoric of a Roosevelt soared in overture to the tinny, tone-deaf Hooverism that was to follow.

After months of listening to the children squabble, it was a pleasure to spend time with the grown-ups. Considering the current disarray of the GOP, we are increasingly certain we will be spending four more years with one.

– END –

Before you vote, listen to the delegates. ALL of them, since Republican and Democrat are NOT the only parties out there.

Check out the stances of people from the Green Party or even the Libertarian parties. Get all the info you can from EVERY candidate, think about EVERY question answered by those running, see who best defines your values and then vote. The biggest problem I see is that most people vote according to party lines instead of really listening to what is being said.

I have listened to debates as far back as the Nixon Administration and still continuing to find old debates. What I normally hear is double talk and smoke. Any REAL question is talked AROUND without any effort to answer the question honestly. I’ve heard the same questions asked in different words but the answer is always the same. They NEVER answer the question. Only talk about “plans” they have. WE ALL have plans, those who have the guts to answer are quickly restricted from the rest of the debates because of the honesty and the willingness to answer they show to the people asking.

As of yet, I still have not made up my mind who I’ll vote for, but I certainly know who I WON’T be voting for. My biggest hope is that a few people will take my advice. LISTEN, LEARN, THINK and then DECIDE. You just might surprise yourself at your decision.

The political saga of a possibly deluded man, in total denial.

In all of politics, this ongoing story of a man and his escapades, has been the most amazing, ongoing revelation of a sad, sad situation. Republican Hrman Cain stepped on the political stage, never having run for a pokitical office in his life. Married to his wife Goria for over forty years, he was once the head of the National Restaurant Association, currently he was a radio host. He is from the state of Georgia. He said he decided to run for president because he did not like the arrogrance that he thought President Barack Obama was showing.

Mr. Cain is also a motivational speaker and is reported to receive twenty-five thousand dollars a speech. He has also written a book, which was being promoted while he was running for president. Some have said that was the basis of why he ran for the office, to sell his book.Mr Cain has particpated in most of the GOP presdidential debates and has shown himself to be articulate and humorous during the debates. He introduced his 999 plan at one debate, He would have corporations pay 9%, individual tax rates would be 9%, and there woukd be a sales tax of 9%. This plan crease taxex on lower and middle class people, and lower taxes for wealthier people. He said he woukd make an adjustment for that situation. This plan was said to have originated from a video game. Mr. Cain also stated recently that we needed a leader and not a reader, which is reported to have been taken from a line in the Simpson’s cartoon movie.

Mr. Cain’s poll numbers have taken him to a position of being tied with the preceived front runner, former governor Mitt Romney, Rpublicans liked Mr. Cain’s style, his ability to communicate and his sense of humor. Everything seemed to be going Mr. Cain’s way until several wonen came forth and accused Mr. Cain of sexually harassing them while they were at the Restaurant Association., or after they had left the company as one stated. That one, Sharon Bialek stated during a nbews conference with her attorney Gloria Akkred by her side, that she had contacted Mr. Cain after her boyfriend had suggested it, when she lost her job at the Assiciation. She did, Mr. Cain nd she were traveling, in his car when ge put his hand up her skirt and then pulled hger head down into the area of his crotch. She said she aked hin what he was doing, he knew she had a boyfriend, she tokld hin. Mr. Cai side , yoiu want a job don’t you? Ms Bialek asked hin

The "Cain Train" keeps gaining steam, and currently poses the most serious threat to Mitt Romney's bid for the Presidency; despite past and present media ridicule, Herman Cain is now the co-front runner for the GOP nomination. He doesn't seem to be slowing down, either.

Political analysts and pundits continue to question Herman Cain’s seriousness in his pursuit of the GOP Presidential nomination. The media had immediately latched onto his former occupation as CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, and now, they incessantly reminds us of this particular item on his CV rather than, say, his previous position as Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.

All stigmatization of a “liberal” media aside, there does seem to be a clear attempt to dismiss Herman Cain as a parody as opposed to a politician.

Admittedly, Cain is not your typical candidate. He has an almost unparalleled amount of charisma, at one point, likening himself to “Black Walnut ice cream” and frequently referring to his growing support as “The Cain Train.” He is not a “career politician,” although he has dabbled in politics in the past-most notably, he briefly campaigned for the presidency back in 2000, and he made a serious bid for the Senate in 2004. He’s also an African-American Republican with a substantial Tea Party base.

Interestingly though, Cain may have outwitted the media, as he seemingly converted the diminutive label of “pizza king” into “top-tier candidate” within a matter of weeks, starting with the monumental collapse of Rick Perry last month. Notable major polls, such as the CNN “Poll of Polls” and the Gallup Poll, now see Cain with comparable support to the long-time frontrunner Mitt Romney. According to the most recent Gallup, his overall likeability (positive intensity score of 30) among Republicans is more than double his nearest competitors Romney (13) and former Speaker Newt Gingrich (12).

Cain, like President Obama, is also making very effective use of social media and the internet more broadly to attract attention to his platform and cause. Likewise, he took a real gamble last month promoting his new book, This is Herman Cain!: My Journey to the White House, instead of spending time on the stump. But really, for a candidate without the kind of recognition as say Romney, Perry, or Gingrich, this strategy, which essentially advertised a book that outlined both Cain as a person and Cain as a prospective President, was just an unorthodox method of campaigning, and campaigning effectively; Cain is now recognized by 78 percent of Republican voters, up 28 percent since September, which is the largest jump in voter recognition of any candidate this year according to Gallup.

The latest anecdote in this story is the now infamous “Smoking Ad,” wherein Cain’s campaign manager Mark Block takes a drag from a cigarette at the end of a matter-of-fact forty-second chat about the man he’s counseling for President.

The ad was criticized for its outright strangeness as soon as it aired, but the underlying message-let Cain be Cain and thus let Block be Block-is resonating with Americans across party lines. The frankness that Cain has expressed in his debate performances and Youtube videos alike have contributed greatly to his likeability, and this stunt is just the next piece in that puzzle.

Then there’s the 9-9-9 Plan. Although economists persist in scrutinizing, criticizing, and even offering diatribes against the plan, it has some popularity among contingencies of Republicans and Democrats nationwide. Cain’s GOP competitors were quick to disparage the plan as a gimmick of a former pizza salesman. And yet, Perry has recently come up with a “20-20-0 Plan” and Rick Santorum a “0-0-0 Plan.” Instead of offering an improved version of Cain’s plan, they both seem more like gimmicks of the original “gimmick.”

What seems clear to me, however, is that Cain is a serious candidate, despite his idiosyncratic personality and campaign strategies. For all intents and purposes, he is now the co-frontrunner with Romney, and although I do believe that Romney is still the man to beat, Cain’s likeability may very well carry him to the nomination; come January, New Hampshire will undoubtedly be Romney’s, but South Carolina, Iowa, and even Florida are not nearly as clear cut, and as things stand right now, the man to take those states will be Herman Cain.

Articles that hang around on Google and continue getting views long after the last follower from a writing site has paid tribute, are the ones that prove you got the article choice right.

Deciding what type of articles you want to write is purely a matter of choice. If you have a particular hobby, knowledge about something you think others may learn from, a passion about something special or a pet peeve, they can all be turned into great articles.

Articles that hang around on Google and continue getting views long after the last follower from a writing site has paid tribute, are the ones that prove you got the article choice right.

So which articles stay around?

Current affairs, health, scandal and news are just the tip of the iceberg. If you look at Google trends, yahoo or any of the search engines you can get a good idea about that days trends but will the article you write stick around and last out the longevity?

Laying the bait

Titles are the first thing that catches a person’s eye when they are surfing the net. Make sure yours not only gives a brief outline of what the article is about but it also it needs to draw the reader in. This can be done by straightforward wording or with cheeky play on words, for example, ‘Coming soon, the female orgasm.’ This didn’t mean the article was coming soon as it could have but it implied that the female orgasm would be coming soon if you read the article.

A good debate

People love to give their opinion if they feel strongly about the subject you have covered. Sometimes it is random that the debate carries on many months after the article was published. These articles get people coming back time after time, just to re-comment and continue the debate without you in cyber space. A good example of this is on an article I wrote November 27, 2009 called ‘Child Abuse Or Beauty Pageant?’ This article is at number one on the first page of Google and is still getting comments over a year later, obviously these people feel very strongly about the subject too.

Believe in what you write

If you are not in some way enthusiastic about what you have written, how can you expect other people to be?

http://gomestic.com/family/child-abuse-or-beauty-pageant/

The Democrats try to win by example...

2004

John Kerry was a Vietnam Veteran who is best known for being one of the only people to go on TV in the 70s and actually report on the atrocities that took place there. Casualities of War was a true story, and Michael J. Fox plays a guy who essentially did what Kerry did on a much more personal and unprotected level.

Kerry’s wife is Theresa Heinz Kerry.

Does that name sound familiar?

You made her richer this morning when you dipped those leftover Sonic fries in the ketchup you took from the fridge.

The jerkoff/daddio’s insanity against all things French, as french fries were called “freedom fries” now…meant that Kerry’s wife has also reaped handsomely due to Heinz mustard…for the previous leading brand of mustard in this country…is French’s.

John Kerry’s wife is so rich that the Democrats would become the new transit system. They said “why should we pay for Kerry to campaign and travel around when his wife has billions?”

Was Daddio honestly expecting Theresa to pay for this bullshit all by herself? Oh quite.

As a result, John Kerry is limited to visiting about six states during the extent of 2004. These states would not only be the more troublesome and divided, but the Kerry-funded Kerry campaign would then try to win people over by fighting clean. They would bring up the cute cute Colbert Robert factoid about Bush not being a war hero…ditching his obligations as soon as it was legal…oooooh, you’re breaking their spirit there, daddio. All the while Republicans were mercilessly and joyously hanging Vietnam war heroes out to dry, and taking the one who actually remained a Republican despite being the Congressman who had it the worst during Vietnam…and REALLY disgracing him. (John McCain).

The Democrats thought that a long-winded explanation like the one I’ve given you over the course of a month would enrapture America. Enrapture Daddio and all but confound the jerkoff. Sure enough…due to being fair and requiring a bit of education and reading…almost every major newspaper in American cities were against him. And Karl Rove helped. With Hilton-based reality television.

For that image of George W. Bush on the aircraft carrier was PIMP. There are two times when Junior really made me want to hetero-bang him. One was when he was in John Lennon’s thrift store outfit that Lennon wore on Captain Kangaroo to be ironic. The second is when Bush is wearing anything casual from the Gap that has the sleeves rolled up. This guy looked to me like Joe Pesci during the head-in-the-vice scene in “Casino”. Pesci, after a whole movie of wearing snazzy zoot suits and dapper shower robes…is now dressed like me while I’m typing, and he looks even MORE powerful as a result! And the fact that Bush looked good, would not help Kerry in the debates.

John Kerry was dealing with an incumbant who could not stop throwing hissy fits and temper tantrums during the whole time Kerry is talking. The world watches the debates seeing Bush being so completely annoyed, as if Kerry was saying something that was incorrect. Yet Kerry is seizing this moment by going on nonsensical, theatric, infant-babble diatribes. He makes a joke comparing Tony Soprano to George Bush. And laughs at it. His own crappy joke. He goes on for the next five centuries about what he saw in Vietnam, trying with so much impassioned zeal to illustrate for us the similarities through rampant free association between a war with a draft and one without. Kerry’s Long-Winded Free association went up against the Republicans Repeating Short Retarded Lies.

Kerry brings up the gay marriage issue…and actually tells the world that he too finds it a sin…but that he thinks it’s something the states should decide for themselves. Okay…now that was a smart move. Only one problem…Daddio and Joe Scarborough talk like this everyday. Flip flop flip flop all in the same sentence. Scarborough is the Daddio of the Republican party. He always does things like start a debate…and then argue against the hostility of the debaters, which is something every corner bartender knows better then to do for the fraction of a politician’s salary. John Kerry — in an attempt to win over the Daddio population count of going on thirty million guys who like the Spin Doctors and laugh uproariously at Drew Carey routines and fart jokes involving them and their young brides — thoroughly alienated and took his base for granted in order to grab the undecided voters and the jerkoffs to the point that people normally hell-bent on ousting the Bush Administration…started to lean towards him! As a badge of being cool!

And so Kerry would lose every debate even though he won.

Kerry spoke to Americans as thought he was being ironic, like we would get his dead-on imitation of William Jennings Bryan and other turn-of-the-century orators. Kerry would make these orations…silently…as though wanting to pay homage to the way black and white television would grainily show a radio fire-side chat. Kerry would leave the whole thing up to interpretation by your mothers and reverends, when your mother just wanted you to find a job and get the hell out of her house, and the reverends were all paid to endorse Bush and Cheney.

Despite widespread instances of voter intimidation of blacks in the South and former border states even in 2004, the Democratic agenda becomes such a headache to the modern American that when other groups begin proposing things the Democrats should help change…good lord do people actually say “this is bad, this is out of control, this is enough!”

And so watching the election on TV was an experience we’d cherish. Always.

Every place where a dumb ass lives in now a red state. Every place that has Jesse Jackson residue somewhere in a downtown second floor office…is a blue state. All the blue states are of course the places that has gays and were hit by terrorists. That meant…blue states were the experts of things the red states were professing to be experts about.

The way to win an argument against a red-stater and red-state-acting blue starter is to simply wait for them to accuse you of something…then accuse them of the same exact thing.

I learned that from Decision 2004.

Sorry ladies for the brief period of more chauvinism then usual.

We were hit by the worst terrorist attack in American history under the watch of a group of men who got away with a commercial campaign (an admittingly brilliant one), where wolves are hiding and lurking behind trees in the wild and waiting to strike at us.

It comes down again to a neck-and-neck race…until Ohio sells out. While Election 2000 was a theft, Election 2004…was Woodstock 04…with ballot boxes being the new porto-poddy. In Cincinnati, they provided one per about 90,000 people. Whoever made it through the jerkoff-pile of roughians who can bench press trucks, that’s how the Republicans got around throwing away ballots.

And so, Jerkoffs were World Champions once again in 2004.

There’s more.

More?

MUCH more!

End of Part 22 of 25

Believe it or not this is many people's worst fear.

Public Speaking may be difficult for people. Speaking to a group of people in a
classroom, meeting, or lecture hall can be nerve racking.

Here are a few tips for getting through your turn at the podium:

Know your audience
When you go to speak it may seem a bit redundant, but know who your speaking to.
Be able to adapt to the audience you have. Some trick you may have for one audience
may not work for another.

Be Prepared
Have your notes prepared, do not be afraid to refer to them.
This can help you and your audience. This way you can feel like you
know what you are talking about.

Be time oriented
make sure when you are speaking you speak clearly. Sometimes when you are nervous
you may speak quicker and fumble your words. Take your time to speak clearly, yet
at the same time try not to waste time.

Some people may go through their lives being uncomfortable speaking to a room
full of people, while others may make this look easy it is not always the case.
That is where terms like “Stage fright” comes from. It is not that you have this fear it is
how you deal with it.
