This will show anti-Israel subversion of wikipedia.

Though the title sounds extreme, I will uncover anti-Israel bias in wikipedia and Electronic Intifada’s effort to keep the anti-Israel bias on wikipedia.

Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America [CAMERA] paid the price for fighting anti-Israel bias. Yet the same allegations Electronic Intifada [EI] makes about CAMERA is actually true for pro-Palestinian groups, which have a lot of control over the popular encyclopedia wikipedia. I’ll give a little bit of information on EI.

Anti-Israel Bias on Wikipedia

An example of anti-Israel bias on wikipedia is that the list of massacres in the 1948 war lists only those allegedly committed by Jews. The title that I, a long while ago, repeatedly attempted to get renamed to “Palestinian Terrorism,” is still named “Palestinian political violence,” even though it is an indisputable fact that it’s terrorism. Palestinian terrorists kill innocent men, women and children in cold-blood. To call Palestinian terrorism “political violence” is to whitewash the barbaric Palestinian killers, who have no respect for human life.

The wikipedia entry on list of attacks on Israeli civilians before 1967 said that “Palestinians crossing the border for a variety of reasons, primarily efforts to return to their homes from which they had been forcefully expelled by Zionist armed forces in the 1948 war.”

Notice the “Zionist armed forces” term. Even though Zionism is a wonderful movement that sought to reestablish Israel, Zionist is used as a derogatory term by the anti-Israel propaganda machine. The terrorism before 1967 was not “primarily efforts to return to their homes.” It was to destroy Israel [though the right of return demographically destroys Israel, but let that pass now].

Wikipedia also whitewashed the 1974 PLO ten-point program, which is also known as the step/stages program. That program calls for the PLO [Palestine Liberation Organization] to accept any territory as a means to achieve Israel’s elimination [though there was a recent edit in wikipedia that admitted that the ten-point program calls for Israel’s destruction in the article Palestine Liberation Organization]. Though it is true that it says that the ten-point program calls for a secular democratic binational state, which is a euphemism for and a way of eliminating Israel.

However, the article on the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine [DFLP] was totally a pro-DFLP article. That article said:

In 1974, the same year as the PDFLP changed its name into the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), it acted as a strong supporter of the 1974 Ten Point Program. This document, which was accepted by the Palestinian National Council (PNC) after lobbying by Fatah and DFLP, cautiously introduced the concept of a two-state solution in the PLO, and caused a split in the organization leading to the formation of the Rejectionist Front, where radical organizations such as the PFLP, PFLP-GC, PLF and others gathered with the backing of Syria, Libya and Iraq to oppose Arafat and PLO moderation.

The article claims that the DFLP seeks to have a two-state settlement. The DFLP [as shown in its symbol as their map of “Palestine”, which includes present-day Israel] seeks the destruction of Israel. The DFLP didn’t accept the ten-point program and joined the Rejectionist Front. However, the DFLP leader Nayef Hawatmeh said:

The problem that has existed since 1967, until today on the struggle for implementing our peoples’ rights at this stage in order to expel the settlements and the occupation of our land that was conquered in 1967, and to ensure the establishment of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital and with the right of return for refugees.
The huge strategic accomplishment at the current stage will be the clearing of the way for the next stage which will lead to an overall and just democratic solution, based on a united democratic state in all historic Palestine, a state of all of its citizens, Palestinian Arabs and Israeli Jews, article under the umbrella of a united, democratic Palestine.

Hawatmeh described his call for Israel’s destruction through stages briefly. The wikipedia article on the DFLP said:

The DFLP confines all its military activities to the Occupied Territories, and publicly argues against targeting anyone or anything inside the Green Line, saying Palestinians must fight only the occupation, not Israeli civilians.

However, the DFLP is one of the organizations responsible for suicide bombings on Israeli civilians. The DFLP is also notorious for its terrorist attack on a school in Maalot [Maalot is a city in Israel] in 1974. The DFLP is an extreme leftist Communist group. The radical Islamists took over the political scene from the leftist fanatic in the terrorist struggle against Israel. However, both the DFLP and PFLP [Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine] still used radical Islamists to carry out the suicide bombings on Israel.

This exposed some anti-Israel bias on wikipedia.

What is Electronic Intifada

Electronic Intifada is an anti-Israel disinformation group. It’s founder is Ali Abunimah, who calls for Israel’s destruction by calling for a binational state and the right of return. He wrote a book called “One Country”, which calls for that binational state. His parents were Palestinian refugees who came to Chicago.

He was born in Chicago. He accused Bassam Eid, director of Palestinian human rights monitor, which is critical of both Israel and the Palestinian Authority [PA], of giving into colonialism because he argued for Palestinian refugees to be resettled rather than live in refugee camps fighting Israel to demographically destroy Israel by having the right of return. Yet he lives comfortably in Chicago, even lecturing in many places, spreading anti-Israel disinformation, along with his organization EI. Bassam Eid is a Palestinian refugee himself. Abunimah said:

There is one government in Israel/Palestine, it’s the Israeli government and it’s a Jewish sectarian government, and our challenge today is to transform a Jewish sectarian government into a government for all the people who live in Israel/Palestine, and I want to end by addressing this point, that somehow Palestinians in the West Bank can buy better conditions by selling out their Palestinian brothers and sisters in the Diaspora. We should be clear, the Palestinian problem, the conflict is not about the occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, it is about Israeli racism and colonialism, which affects Palestinians in different ways. A Palestinian State in a fraction of the West Bank, as the Geneva Initiative proposes, doesn’t solve the problem of the racism, that the 1.3 million Palestinians inside Israel face. It doesn’t solve the problem of the racism faced by millions of Palestinians outside the country who are prevented from returning just because they’re from the wrong ethnic group. I strongly believe that Israelis and Palestinians can live together in peace and justice, just like blacks and whites in South Africa, just like nationalist and unionists in Northern Ireland, but only the basis of full equality and dignity for every human being.

Ali Abunimah complains about Israeli “racism.” Yet he makes no mention of the fact that Palestinians get killed or arrested for selling their house to a Jew. It’s illegal in the Palestinian Authority to do it. Though it is true that a minority of Israelis don’t want land sold to an Arab in Israel, it’s still legal to do it in Israel. In Israel, if a Jew sold land to an Arab he/she doesn’t risk his/her life. Is not allowing a Jew to buy property and even arresting of or killing Palestinians, who sell their land to Jews, racism, Ali? Arabs in Israel have equal rights to Jews there.

EI also published an article that idolizes George Habash, the founder and first leader of the PFLP. It was by As’ad AbuKhalil. Mr. AbuKhalil complained:

I lived more than half of my life in the US and I never felt the alienation that I felt on the day I read George Habash, the Palestinian revolutionary who passed away last week, labeled as a “terrorism tactician” in a front page obituary in The New York Times. What do you when they want to convince you that a kind and gentle man you met and respected as a person is a terrorist when you know otherwise? Do you quibble with their definitions to no avail? Do you go back and see how they wrote glowing obituaries for Zionist militia leader and later Israeli prime minister Yitzhak Rabin, a man whose record of killing civilians is as horrific and grotesque as that of Osama Bin Laden, former Israeli prime minister Menachem Begin, Fatah Revolutionary Council founder Abu Nidal or Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet?

He complains that he felt alienation because the NY Times labeled Habash as “terrorism tactician.”

The NY Times was right to so. Habash helped the PLO bring new methods such as airplane hijacking. He was responsible for the killing of innocent Israeli civilians. He took part in the terror war on Israel. I read the EI propaganda article. He admitted that Habash took part in bombing campaigns and airplane hijackings and that he defended them. Yet EI publishes this article calling Habash a “gentile man.”

This “gentile man” said, “If [it] is the only way to destroy Israel, Zionism, and Arab reaction, then we want WWIII to come.”

That’s right, George Habash, the man idolized and called “gentile” by the anti-Israel disinformation site Electronic Intifada, brought in new tactics in modern terrorism to the scene in part of the effort in the terrorist war to eliminate Israel.

Mr. Khalil, Rabin’s and Begin’s so-called record of killing civilians is not nearly as bad as Bin-Ladin’s. The only time Begin allegedly killed innocent civilians is in Deir Yassin [I will not talk about Deir Yassin in this article]. I will not bother to talk about Pinochet in this article.

Mr. Khalil said:

Habash was at that time a student at the American University of Beirut (AUB), where he had already been inspired by the Arab nationalist ideas in the student club al-’Urwah al-Wuthqah. He did not wait long to initiate action in revenge after the founding of Israel (we should refer to it as “the destruction of Palestine,” as Zionist propaganda in the West has succeeded in portraying Palestinian national aspirations as an act of “destruction”) — and revenge was his motive early on.

We should refer to the founding of Israel as the destruction of Palestine claims As’sad. That’s a classic claim made by the anti-Israel propaganda machine. First off, Palestine was not a country. It was a region named by the Romans after the conquest of Judea to insult the Jews.

It fell under different empires. The name remained. It fell under different Islamic caliphates until the dismantling of the Ottoman Empire by the British and the French in WWI except for the period when it fell under the crusades, who tried to retake Jerusalem.

It was under the British empire. As’sad, when Israel was created, it was under the British mandate. David Ben-Gurion, the first Prime Minister of Israel, declared the independence of the State of Israel, in 1948, on the part given to the Jews in the 1947 partition plan, which also gave land to the Arabs.

The Arab leadership, rather than declare independence like the Jews did, continued the terrorist war on the Jews and along with the Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria and Egypt, started the terrorist war on Israel. It became known as the first Arab-Israeli war. Israel did take more territory to have more defensible borders and to secure a road that was giving supplies to Jews in Jerusalem. Israel was unable to do it because the caravans were attacked by the terrorists and invaders, who sought to destroy Israel. Palestine wasn’t a country. Yet the Palestinian terrorist struggle seeks to destroy Israel, which is a country.

I showed what EI is.

EI and anti-Israel subversion of wikipedia

CAMERA struggled to fight anti-Israel bias on wikipedia. EI infiltrated CAMERA and exposed a collection of emails written by CAMERA members to “prove” that CAMERA seeks to infiltrate wikipedia and accused CAMERA of attempting to “rewrite Palestinian history, pass off crude propaganda as fact, and take over Wikipedia administrative structures to ensure these changes go either undetected or unchallenged.”

However, is EI guilty of the same thing it accuses CAMERA of? The EI article on CAMERA actually shows an image of a Wikipedia globe with Israeli flags on every square, which suggests Jewish “control” over wikipedia, something that crosses the line into anti-Semitism.

EI is more guilty than CAMERA. Bangpound, who’s an EI member by the name of Benjamin J Doherty, made an edit to the CAMERA article, which is a violation of wikipedia’s NPOV and accuracy policy. Bangpund said that “adding important notes about the organization’s [CAMERA's] intentions to manipulate Wikipedia leadership structures and editorial controls.” Bangpound is an EI propagandist and is helping EI subvert wikipedia, while EI is complaining to the administrators about CAMERA’s activities.

Under the criticism section of CAMERA, Bangpound said,”CAMERA also attempts to use Wikipedia to covertly disseminate discredited pro-Israeli propaganda. Electronic Intifada uncovered private email messages between CAMERA staff and volunteers that outlined an attempt to subvert Wikipedia editorial controls and leadership structures.[44]“

“CAMERA may not be a reliable source,” wrote Bangpound on his comment on the edit.

Bangound also said in the comment on the edit:

CAMERA cannot possibly be considered a reliable source, and they have been caught collaborating secretly with existing Wikipedia editors to subvert Wikipedia editorial processes. See [EI exclusive: a pro-Israel group's plan to rewrite history on Wikipedia]. The linked article includes primary source emails from CAMERA staff and Wikipedia users. Bangpound (talk) 14:44, 21 April 2008 (UTC)”

Andre Oblor, a member of the NGO monitor, which exposes anti-Israel bias in “peace” and “human rights” groups, has done some research and found some EI and pro-Palestinian subversion of Wkipedia.

“Wikipedia does have a problem, but to focus on CAMERA is to ignore the elephant in the room,” wrote Andre Oblor.

After EI complained to Wikipedia administrators, CAMERA members had their editing privileges suspended to set an example.

But guess what, that’s what happens when you have an encyclopedia that anyone can edit and allow people to become administrators. People are going to edit. The big crime of CAMERA is that it’s on Israel’s side in the secret covert Nazified fascist totalitarian terrorist war on Israel. EI and other pro-Palestinian groups actually seek to have hegemony over wikipedia. Andre Oblor said:

This has nothing to do with secret cabals, the Jewish lobby or alien landings. It’s on-line war, and Electronic Intifada is not a neutral observer. It is one of the combatants and it is attempting to use conspiracy theory, racism and public ignorance to wipe one side of the debate out of the chamber while the other, currently more effective, side continues to rewrite history.

Andre Oboler also said:

To understand why this accusation of “infiltration” is so poisonous one must understand the nature of Wikipedia. Its basic idea is that anyone can edit the on-line encyclopedia. How, then, how can anyone be said to be infiltrating it?
Some might protest, “But these people were seeking to coordinate and thereby achieve a level of control over the editing process!”
I say, “So what?” This is how Web 2.0 works. This is Web 2.0 democracy. It is not perfect, and many would argue it is not even a good idea. Yet this is the model on which Wikipedia is based.

One anti-Israel wikiproject called Wikiproject Palestine claims it seeks to “Improve Palestine-related articles by expansion, verification and copyediting. Be thorough and watch for POV in particularly controversial articles.’’

This is an example of EI to impose anti-Israel hegemony on wikipedia.

Wikipedians for Palestine is another anti-Israel group on wikipedia. It claims that it is for “wikipedians actively working to combat anti-Palestinian and pro-Zionist bias in the English language version of wikipedia.”

Al-Awda, an anti-Israel organization that advocates the right of return for the Palestinian refugees, hosted a message by wikipedians for Palestine. The message said:

This shabbos I was able to get tens of volunteers to monitor this site, who in turn got tens more. If we have to, WE WILL HIRE HACKERS TO TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM.

Andre Oboler said:

I first became concerned about attempts to ”game the system” in July 2007 when I noticed the Israeli Committee Against Housing Demolitions page kept having criticism removed.

This is a perfect example of anti-Israel subversion of wikipedia. It seeks to take control of the online encyclopedia and ban pro-Israel organizations that edit the wikipedia articles for minor reasons. EI complains about a pro-Israel user who says that the root cause of Palestinian suicide bombers are martyrdom and hate education and who says that every Middle East expert acknowledges that. EI said:

In fact, there have been numerous studies debunking claims about Palestinian “hate education,” or “glorification of martyrdom” causing suicide bombings (such as Dying to Win by University of Chicago political scientist Robert Pape) though this claim remains a favorite canard of pro-Israel activists seeking to distract attention from the effects of Israel’s occupation and other well-documented and systematic human rights abuses in fueling violence.

Really, then why are Palestinian suicide bombers called “shahids” [shahid is Arabic for martyr] or “martyrs.” All Palestinian suicide bombers [and all suicide bombers in general] have a radical Islamist ideology that says that they’ll go to heaven it they kill infidels and impose radical Islam. As I said, even the PFLP and DFLP, two Communist terrorist organizations, whose leadership is Christians who consider themselves Arab first, still hires Islamists to carry out their suicide bombings. The ideology of suicide bombers, like radical Islam itself, is composed of hatred of Jews, Christians and other “infidels.” A women in an Israeli jail, who is a member of Hamas and a planner of suicide bombings said in Pierre Rehov’s documentary “Suicide Killers” that Palestinian suicide bombers blow themselves up for Islam to conquer the world and not simply to end the Israeli “occupation.”

Yes, hate education and the “glorification of martyrdom” is the cause of suicide bombings. You just have to look at what’s in Palestinian textbooks, mosques, radios and TVs. They preach the ideology of the suicide bombers. In fact, even summer camps, which train Palestinians to fight Israel and even spread indoctrination against the Jewish state, were exposed. They promote suicide bombings. Palestinians do blow themselves up for the glorification of martyrdom and because of hate education. There are some Palestinians in the territories, who want real peace with Israel and oppose terrorism including suicide bombings on Israel. However, they’re not the leadershp nor the powerful ones. The ones in control promote suicide bombings and other forms of terrorism on Israel and promote the goal of destroying the Jewish state.

Conclusion

Though this was the topic a few months ago, I exposed anti-Israel infiltration of wikipedia. The secret covert terrorist war on Israel is not just military and terrorism. It is also media, in spreading anti-Israel disinformation, and also economic such as boycotts and divestment. For the anti-Israel propaganda machine is an essential part of the secret covert terrorist war on Israel. In the 1960’s, the secret covert terrorist war on Israel also included blockades. The secret covert terrorist war on Israel also includes hacking pro-Israeli sites and seeking to dominate the internet. Even in campuses, pro-Israel, pro-American, conservatives and anyone who wants to expose radical Islam are disrupted and shouted at when giving a lecture. In Concordia university, a while ago, Benjamin Netanyahu, former Israeli Prime Minister, decided not to give his speech to protect himself while there were anti-Israel riots.

Nonie Darwish, an Arab-American who grew up in Gaza [when it was under Egyptian control] and Cairo and who’s father was assassinated by Israel for leading the Fedayeen terrorist struggle against Israel for Egyptian then dictator Gamal Abdel Nasser, was also shouted at when giving a speech against radical Islam. David Horowitz, organizer of the Islamo-fascism Awareness week events, which seeks to expose radical Islam and leftist denial about it, was, during his lecture, was shouted at by many students. ”Racist, racist. Go away” was what the students were shouting at him.

He had to have bodyguards. This is just more detail on the secret covert terrorist war on Israel. It is launched to destroy Israel and seeks to use the Internet [including wikipedia], media and campuses. It even uses human rights as a shield to carry out their anti-Israel agenda. It also uses political correctness as well. It’s politically incorrect to say that Jews have a right to live in the territories. Any Jew who moves there would be regarded as a settler and condemned for being there. Political correctness studies hard to make sure Arabs in Israel are treated fairly. Though it is good to be concerned for Arabs in Israel [Israeli Arabs already do have equal rights to Israeli Jews in Israel], you should also call for allowing Jews to live in the disputed territories if they want to.

I documented some of the tactics used in the secret covert terrorist war on Israel. This war was launched to “delegitimize” and eliminate Israel. Misinformation is an essential part of this campaign.

After the anti-terrorist operation at the Jenin refugee camp, which was an effort of Israel to destroy terrorist infrastructure and go after the terrorists with as small amount of civilian casualties as possible, the media was spewing anti-Israel propaganda, making stories up about Israeli atrocities. The Jenin operation was a response to a series of suicide bombings on innocent civilians inside Israel. Pierre Rehov’s documentary “Road to Jenin” even shows Palestinians being offered money to pretend to be victims of Israel. The media even pretended that there was a massacre in Jenin. Palestinian terrorists and Hezbollah hide in cities and schools so when Israel attacks them, the Israelis would accidentally hit civilians and it would help the propaganda wing of the secret covert terrorist war on Israel. In the Jenin refugee camps, the terrorists there had booby traps, which made the civilians in danger.

A film “Pallywood: ‘According to Palestinian sources’” even shows anti-Israel bias in the media. This is more examples of the secret covert terrorist war on Israel. This is about anti-Israel bias on wikipedia and EI’s defense of it.

I showed EI’s, and other anti-Israel group’s efforts to impose anti-Israel tyranny on wikipedia. While it bans CAMERA members, anti-Israel users are already editing Wikipedia.
