Our involvement in Afghanistan seems as if it is a rerun of the war in Viet Nam,
except that this time, even if we leave that hell of a place, the war would not be over for us. Terrorism will continue and that, too, would seem winless, for the reason that, no matter what we do, the ghosts of terrorism will continue to lurk in the shadows.
