Before 1999 when tragedy struck a family through accident or sickness, the only places to which families had to turn for long term care of the stricken family member, was nursing homes. In 1999 all that changed when two unknown mentally ill women won the right to live where they wanted to.

As does the law in most states, Massachusetts law guarantees a blind person the legal right to be accompanied by a guide dog in all public places such as hotels, stores, and restaurants, with the dog muzzled, if required. They may also take their guide dogs with them onboard all forms of public transport such as airplanes, buses, and taxis. But apparently, some businesses are either ignorant of or defiant of this state guarantee.

A devoted, loving teacher sit at home punished for no reason, a victim of a vindictive principal, a slow to act criminal justice system and a lack of people who talk loud but do nothing to help him in his plight. His kids miss him, as he misses them, as judicial gamesmanship by those in power has stalled his return to the classroom after 200 days. No illegalities or immorality alleged. Just retaliation against him.
