Newsweek Magazine desperate for readers decides it's OK to abandon respect for the Commander-in-Chief of the United States to sell their rag!

OK, we all know FOX News is a strongarm for the openly anti-Obama, anti-Gay, anti-Democrat closet Republicans out there. We all know Rush Limbaugh is a guy who REALLY, REALLY likes to hear himself on the radio, and relishes being the center of attention, which leads to such radical stances, and statements that over the last ten years he has basically lost ALL credibility.

But since when is it OK for any news organization, be it TV, Radio, or Newspaper/Magazine to blatantly disrespect the President of the United States? Are we such an openly free society that we now abandon all RESPECT for anybody/everybody? Is it OK now, to call the Pope a FAG? Or lets say we call Ghandi a transvestite? I know, I know, if it is OK to be Gay, then why do I take exception to Newsweek calling Mr. Obama “Gay”? HMMMMMMMMMMM, maybe because it is wrong! I mean I don’t know who the Publisher of Newsweek is, but I am betting they are a homophobic deep down in their inner thoughts. Oh yeah, I am betting there’s some gayness or maybe Lesbianism running rampant in their past!!!

Ok, so why is it wrong to use provocative headlines with the caption the “First Gay President”? Well, it is wrong because he is clearly NOT gay, he is a father of two beautiful, well adjusted little girls, and a beautiful, intelligent wife. It is a blatant attempt to sell copies of a publication hoping to maintain readership, even though, we all know sooner or later the internet will force them out of business. It is cheap, it is Amateurish, and it is yet another disturbing development in National Elections, which are growing more and more ridiculous every election.

What Newsweek should be writing about, is that our elected representatives would rather waste FOUR freakin years trying to defeat, deny, thwart each and every attempt by the President to better the lives of AVERAGE Americans. Yes, George Will there are poor people, and they are what we eandearingly call “Average Americans”. Those are the people who own small businesses, workin factories, fix our plumbing, install our cablevision, and sell us our Whoppers. They are not the people buying new yachts, a new Mercedes SL 500, a Bentley, a BMW 7 series, a second or third home in Malibu, or Vail, or Tuscany. Mr. Obama is a black man, who has worked, and studied and learned how to not let his minority heritage disuade his determination to better his life, and become a GREAT American Hero. A Great American Success story.

Why doesn’t Newsweek write stories about each and every Congressman; how much he or she makes; how long they have been in office; how many life altering pieces of litigation they have sponsored or co-sponsored; and how many time they voted against legislation that would have bettered the lives of “Average Americans”??? Also, why do elected officials in Congress receive a pension forever after they leave office? I was told (and I hope I am not mis-reporting this) that each and every member of Congress, is entitled to a large percentage of their Congressional salary once they leave office, no matter the length of time they serve? I find this incredibly hard to believe!? IF this is Correct? I cannot believe that the American voting public, would allow any Congressman or Congresswoman to receive a large percentage of their Congressional salary once they leave office? Can you begin to imagine how much money this would be costing the American Taxpayers? Please someone tell me this is a lie, or it is incorrect.

It is my humble, and somewhat uneducated opinion that whatever Congressional members receive as a salary should be reduced by a minimum of 50% for the inept, inefficient, and irresponsible jobs they (have not) done for almost as long as I can remember. I believe they are making $130,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year. Of course they raise their salaries each and every time it comes to a vote, and their benefits are second to none. Yet, they continually fail to provide their constituents with the same benefits or ability to have the same lifestyle as they do. It is the AMERICAN VOTERS who continually, allow these useless, do nothing, waste of government funds to be re-elected time after time. WAKE UP!

This is just a short list of the most annoying things people do everyday that really piss me off. Just a little funny rant and rave.

What are the most annoying things people do that you see everyday? Who knows maybe something you think is annoying is something I do on a daily basis, but I do try and make it a point to not piss people off and actually think about someone else when I am in public. Unfortunately, this is not the case with most people out and about these days. So, instead of ”going postal” or freaking out and looking like a mad man, I decided to vent a little here and list some things which really get under my skin. Feel free to comment on some things which I missed which upset you each day. Without further ado, here is my list:

People that park in the fire lane in front of stores either waiting there for someone to come out or running into the store quickly. The only time anyone should do this (besides emergency personnel) is if you have a handicapped person, or are loading a large object into your car. Otherwise, park your car and actually walk your big butt from the parking spot to the store. You’d be amazed; it actually is not that far!

Talking on your cell phone when driving and not paying attention. Now, I should clarify here that I have no problems with someone talking on their phone and still concentrating on the road. But lets face it, there are already too many bad drivers on the road without the phone being another distraction for them. So, if you cannot keep your focus on more than one thing then stay off the phone while driving!

Standing in line at the grocery store and the person in front of you has all the time in the world to get their wallet out before the total amount comes up and they wait until the last minute to get it out. Let me clarify this a little more. You are third in line and the person in front of you, has, say 20 items. They wait for the person in front of them to get finished and then the clerk starts ringing them out (note, everything they are buying is already on the conveyor to be scanned and there is a person bagging their goods), they proceed to wait there for every item to be scanned and when the clerk tells them the total, now they decide to get their wallet to pay for the items. What makes it worse is, if they want to use their coin change or have to dig into a purse to get the money out. Please have the wallet out so you are prepared to pay before it gets to the total for crying out loud!

When driving, leave two car lengths between yourself and the car in front of you and one car length when pulling to a stop. Do not attempt to kiss my car’s ass end with your car’s front end!

Don’t flick your damn cigarette butts out of your car window. If one would get in my car or burn me, I think I might set you on fire!

Don’t pull into a store or a parking lot and crank your radio up. You end up looking like an ass but then again it is probably what you are anyway.

Quit yelling things aisles over for whoever you came to the store with. Once again, walk your big ass over to where they are and ask them in a normal tone of voice!

Quit cursing in public especially in front of your kids and never in front of someone elses. Show some respect to people around you!

Don’t try to convert me to your religion, political party or any other organization unless I ask about it. Otherwise, keep it to yourself!

Do not try to act tough and stare someone down like you want to fight them. You are an absolute idiot if this is what you do!

So, there you have some of the most annoying things I see in everyday life. There are lots more but I need to end somewhere but feel free to comment on some things which annoy the hell out of you and I apologize now if I am guilty of them. LOL.

Can it disrespectful to smoke in front of a non smoker?

“It is my right to smoke”. This is perhaps one of the most argued points by those who smoke and feel discriminated for it.

First and foremost, one should not be confused between a “right” and what is “moral”. While it may seem plausible that one cannot take away another’s “right” to do something, i.e. consume a legal product, it does not necessarily mean that it is moral for the other to exercise that right. In other words, it is not necessarily true that something is morally accepted just because it is legal. There are many considerations and practical reasons when a legal policy is made.

For example, many countries that used to criminalize suicide have now repealed the law. Does this mean that committing suicide is now morally acceptable? Just because one has a “right” to life (or death) does not mean it is moral to do so. Another example would be prostitution. The reason Singapore legalize prostitution is not to convey a message to its citizen that prostitution is morally acceptable, but by doing so, the government has control over the issues of prostitution, i.e. imposing medical checkup, limiting the boundaries in which prostitution can take place in Singapore and so on.

As for smoking, most governments in the world impose high taxes on the “legal product”. Some even spend public funds to run campaigns against smoking. On top of that, many governments around the world had intervene and made it illegal to smoke in certain places. This is a clear example of the law displaying its normative feature, which is a common feature shared with morality. Practically, the government cannot ban smoking entirely. Practically, they can make policies to discourage smoking.

No doubt, one has a right to smoke in front of a non-smoker. Analogically, one also has a right to curse and swear in front of his friends. But the question is, is it disrespectful? While it is legal to use foul languages (as long as one do not go to the extent of psychic assault), most choose to mind their language and be respectful to one another. The same applies to smokers. Smokers can choose to discreetly exercise their rights while at the same time respecting others by smoking in vicinities that will not affect non smokers. It would be tautological to go into more statistics, as it has already been empirically proven that second hand smoke is hazardous. Hence, t smokers who are adamant in their “rights” and choose to exercise it in front of non smokers are just being “legally disrespectful”.

Discusses how rude disrespectful behavior has become common place in today's society and can be found everywhere.

Can someone please tell me how the hell rude, disrespectful behavior became a trait in today’s society. You can see it everyday and just about anywhere. What is amazing is that the people doing the rude behavior are often the parents and they do it front of their kids. Listed below are the most common rude and disrespectful behaviors I see on a regular basis. So if you are guilty of some of these well you might want to make a change.

1.) Screaming in public. I was in a department store the other day and a heavyset lady was screaming at her sister that was about 6 aisles over. Advice — Walk your fatass over there.

2.) People acting like they own the road. In my hometown I see this everyday. You get a bunch of kids playing in the streets and their parents don’t even tell them to watch out for the cars. Advice — Better get junior off the street before he is run over.

3.) People saving places for their friends while waiting in line. Over the summer I had a great experience with this one at a amusement park. One lady decided to save around 20 spots for all of her friends and they proceeded to jump about 100 people in line. Advice — Don’t do it; as eventually someone is going to blow a gasket and really go off.

4.) Talking down to a waitress/waiter or sales clerk. The other day I witnessed this firsthand as a young lady was complaining about her meal at a local restaurant. She proceeded to not just insult the cook but also the waitress. Advice — Remember that the waitress has nothing to do with how your meal is, she is only serving it but she could always tamper a little with it if you are an ass.

5.) Using curse words in public. I seen this a few times with parents cursing at their kids for doing something wrong. Going along with this is punishing your kid in public too. You should never have to resort to spanking your kids in public. Advice — Watch out or you might get bitch slapped if you do this.

Final Advise — Stop being rude and disrespectful jackass!

How do you know when your relationship is over? Can you tell the signs of a bad relationships?

You have tried, cried, begged, and went to therapy as a couple, but still nothing changed. You get irritated easily just by the sight of the person. You secret wished that your other half disappeared somewhere. Sinful thoughts, yes, but when you are miserable, your mind can sum up many furtive ideas.

Here are five signs that your relationship is over.

You just can’t stand the sight of him/her

The sound of his car pulling up on the driveway makes your heart drop. You feel heavy in your thought, and you secretly hope that he/she doesn’t open the door and comes in.

 Abusive in all forms

When you are told to “be happy where your husband/wife is happy”, then it is abused, or “this is my house, you don’t bring in the money”. That is a form of mental and emotional abuses.

 Disrespectful and Distrust

If you look at the person with disgust, and it is just irritating you when he/she talks. You hear the provoking tone of questions such as “are you sure about that?” or “is that so?” These are doubts, and a sign of distrust.

No willingness to work on the big issues

You just cannot see the future with your partner in any circumstances. You and your partner seem reluctant to work on the big issues. You can’t find a middle ground. You can’t find any compromises on either part.

You can’t recall any good memories

You can’t remember any good times, or good things about your partner. Resentments had build up over the years that your mind is flooded with bad memories. You repeat the same bad cycles when you are around each other. You realize that you are not the best person you want to be.

This is five best possible signs that tell the relationship is over. No matter how much you try or willing to go on, you will find yourself exhausted and depressed. Then one day, the moment comes, when nothing else mater, and you will just throw in the towel. You will dare the world to stop you. You care for no one’s advice or opinion.

My moment came when I found myself at the bottom of the well, but that still didn’t stop me. I have no job, I have no savings, I have three kids, and I have no home. Fear was no longer a factor. I was ready to shake off the dust that covered my life. I needed to shed my skin to be reborn again. Now, when someone asks “how do you know when”, I give my five reasons above and said: “you just know!”
