As does the law in most states, Massachusetts law guarantees a blind person the legal right to be accompanied by a guide dog in all public places such as hotels, stores, and restaurants, with the dog muzzled, if required. They may also take their guide dogs with them onboard all forms of public transport such as airplanes, buses, and taxis. But apparently, some businesses are either ignorant of or defiant of this state guarantee.
