BBC - Mitt Romney certainly forward to next November's U.S. presidential election represents the Republican Party to challenge Barack Obama, following his victory in the primaries in Texas.

Early predictions show it will easily collect the sound exceeds the threshold required.

Romney is a Mormon adherents of the first major party that will compete in the presidential election.

Republicans will officially announce his candidacy at the convention in Florida in late August.

Romney’s victory was expected since a few weeks ago when his opponents down or stop the campaign.

With the 1086 delegate votes he had in Texas, Romney collected 58 living alone to exceed the 1144 threshold.

He will continue his father, George Romney, former governor of Michigan who failed Republican presidential candidate in 1968.

The poll also indicates that Mitt Romney will be competing with Obama in November.

Attacking each other

“I am honored that the American people across the country offer their support in my candidacy and I feel very honored for having won the delegate votes to become the 2012 Republican presidential nominee,” Romney said in a statement.

The former Massachusetts governor also attended a fundraising event in Las Vegas with Donald Trump conglomerate. Ahead of the event, the Obama campaign released a video discussing the comments Trump is accusing the president was born in Kenya.

The video was trying to contradict the difference between Romney and Senator John McCain, Republican candidate in 2008 presidential election, which contacted a woman who called Obama a Muslim.

“Why Mitt Romney did not do the same thing?” the video says. On Monday, Romney lamented that Trump’s comments.

“I do not always agree with everyone who supported me. And I guess they do not always agree with all the things I believe in,” said Romney told reporters.

Previously, the Romney campaign also released an ad criticizing Obama’s policy of providing federal loans to the solar panel manufacturer that went bankrupt.

Experts say the results of theNovember election depends on what is happening in several states including Colorado and Nevada, as the candidates compete to get the votes of independent voters. T

he next question is who is chosen Romney to be his running mate.

In the past month, it hasn’t been a question of if - but a question of when for Mitt Romney. Even before Rick Santorum dropped out of the GOP presidential race, it was a foregone conclusion that former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney would be the Republican presidential candidateto run against the incumbent, President Barack Obama, in 2012.

The nomination process has officially ended for Romney. Tonight’s Texas primary victory for Romney secured the needed-delegates for the politician to be named the nominee of the Republican Party in Tampa this August.

Upon victory, Romney said:

Our party has come together with the goal of putting the failures of the last three-and-a-half years behind us. I have no illusions about the difficulties of the task before us. But whateverchallenges lie ahead, we will settle for nothing less than getting America back on the pathto full employment and prosperity.

Romney only needed 38% of the Texas vote to obtain his 1,144 delegates to the convention, and he won in excess of 70% according to Associated Press estimates. Romney wasn’t in Texas when his victory came. Instead, he was at a fundraiser in Las Vegas with thestill-politically controversial former GOP candidate Donald Trump. Trump returned to his “birther” stance in recent days – something of which Romney will not partake.

In an ad premiering today, the Obama attack criticizes Mitt Romney for not break himself from Donald Trump’s assiduous analytic of President Obama’s citizenship. Clips adverse John McCain’s close put-down of birther supporters against Romney’s blackout on the matter.

The ad, blue-blooded “Two Republican Nominees,” stitches calm Trump sound-bites from sources as assorted as The View , CNN, and The O’Reilly Factor featuring Trump bloviating about what a “great job” he’s done in allurement the President to“show his bearing certificate”:

You could say, of course, that Romney isn’t amenable for aggregate every one of his supporters believes in. (Indeed, that affect is accurate in one of the clips here.) That’s the accessible aegis that deflates this ad rather quickly. But back a adherent as visibleas The Celebrity Apprentice bang-up keeps beating abroad atthis obsession, the Obama campaign, with according obviousness, thinks it ability be nice if Trump’s best for President, Romney, aggregate his thoughts on what The Donald continues to sow: Doubt, mistrust, misconceptions.

To me, the best analytical affair about the ad is the use of airy country-blues harmonicaplaying over Trump’s birther comments. Is the abstraction to somehow accomplish Trump complete like a country-boy yahoo? This doesn’t aboveboard with Trump’s chichi big-city attire.

Also, the ad ends with Trump on Celebrity Apprentice utteringhis tagline, “You’re fired!” But this is what the Obama attack wants Romney to acquaint Trump, not the added way around.

I ability accept assured by asking, who cares what Trump thinks, and why does the Obama attack accept he’s account attacking? But the sad actuality is, some citizens do accept to a guy who holds millions agape authoritative decisions amid Arsenio Hall and Clay Aiken.

I accord the Obama attack ad low credibility for clarity, but with a few benefit credibility added for aggravating to affix the McCain/Trump/Romney/birther dots in aloof over 90 seconds, and for arresting un-Obama-like eccentricity.

Our world is crowded with the million secrets to success. Well I am here to say that there is no secret, it's right there in front of you.

How often do we say the infamous words, “I want to be successful”? It’s interesting, when you ask a child the question of “what do you want to do when you grow up? You get a straight out answer. An astronaut, a fire fighter, a hairdresser, a race car driver… you never get, I want to be successful. Somewhere along the line we lose the creativity of our younger selves and throw our future dreams and visions into the too hard define basket, labelled “Successful”. Then we seem to wander on this path with no guidance or end in sight searching for the holy secret. So what is success? What does it look like? What does it feel like, does it have a smell? A touch? A taste?… Many of us think it is plain silly to think success can have a smell. However, when you think about it, a successful baker would know the smell of a perfectly baked loaf of bread just like a successful florist would know the smell of a perfectly ripened flower. So it’s fair to say that this so called “success” does take the form of many meanings, appearances, tastes, smells and so on, you get the point. The BIG question is though, is there a secret to success?

After reading the books, studying the video’s, meeting the people and endless searching down that very hazy path, it has become clear that there isn’t one. That’s right… there is NO secret to success. Without disappointing all the people out there furiously hunting, do not fear. There may be no secret but there is a formula. After studying, meeting and listening to the likes of Richard Branson, Steve Jobs, Tony Robbins, Robert Kyiosaki, and even the ruthless Donald Trump who have all achieved their own version of success and voiced their stories for us to hear, it has become so clear. When they share their stories and the strategies they believe to be responsible for their own success, they are all saying the exact same things, just in their own language. You have Tony Robbins who talks about the importance of your Strategy and your Peak State. Robert Kyiosaki believes in the power of the wealth creation matrix, which is all about structure making choices. The late Steve Jobs kept it simple with his aim for the stars philosophy which as changed the very world we live in. And we can’t forget Richard Branson’s who’s “screw it, lets do it” attitude and a sense of fun and passion has taken Virgin to over 400 companies of which at least 7 have become Billion dollar successes.

So when you combine all of these strategies, philosophies and key characteristics, you get a flow of elements for success, your very own formula for success, which looks like this:

Know Your Story & What You Believe

We all have different paths, experiences, goals and visions and we all have ways of expressing these. Knowing your story is all about creating clarity around what it is that you stand for. In the relatively short period of time you have on the planet, what is it that you want to:

- Focus your energy and attention on

- Create your core values around: Richard Branson’s core values are to experience new things, create new opportunities, break the barriers of impossible and have fun doing it.

- Be known and remembered for after you are gone: Steve Jobs stated he wanted to put a dent in the universe through challenging the status quo. He will be long remembered for creating and inspiring a revolution in consumer technology.

Actor Will Smith summed it up nicely in an interview some years ago when he said “its easy, it’s knowing what you believe in to the core and knowing that you are will to die for that belief!” This may be considered a little extreme but it’s the passion that burns within.

So what is your story? You need to identify:

- What you stand for and believe in

- What you will die for to achieve

- What your core values are that you live by and will vow never to break

- What your world looks like around the future you

Create Your Map

Just as when you are off in your car for a road trip to an exotic location you haven’t visited before, you need a map to get there. Your map needs to include some key things:

Goals

Your goals are a descriptive measure of what you aim to achieve. Your goals should follow the SMART principle, which means they need to be

Specific in definition

Measurable in size, time, $

Attainable but still audaciousness

Realistic as to the effort you need to put in to achieve the goals

Timely completion target wrapped around every goal set.

Checkpoints & Look-outs

When you go on a roadtrip, you need to ensure you have checkpoints on your map where you can stop, take a minute to rest and reflect on where you have just come from. This is no different with setting your goals map, you need to incorporate checkpoints where you re-evaluate your position and your goals set and also reflect on what you have achieved along the way.

Rewards

You mustn’t forget to reward yourself for making progress along the way. Often, we set ourselves huge goals and never really see any reward until the goal is achieved or worse, not at all because the hope and motivation is lost to achieve it. Progress rewards are critical and should be mapped. Don’t feel guilty for rewarding yourself early, you will get to the big reward through your dedication and hard work soon enough.

Taking Action

You can be as smart as Bill Gates, as enthusiastic as Richard Branson, as cunning as Donald Trump or as inspiring as Steve Jobs BUT until you take ACTION on your goals and your map, you will not go anywhere. Action is driven by emotion which is energy in motion. The more positive energy you exert on actioning your goals, the more motion FORWARD you will achieve. You can make the decision to set goals and create your story but you will never achieve your success without the action.

Accountability

So many people create their stories, map their goals and then begin to take action but then something happens and the flame dies. Time goes on, road blocks appear, too many opportunities/distractions arise and the motive to action dies.

You need to hold yourself accountable to someone or something other than yourself. This person/s needs to be someone who is willing to energise you, motivate you and be stern with you when the time calls for it. Someone who could fall into this category is a mentor. However a mentor should be more about providing guidance, knowledge and passing down lessons they have learned from their own experience. It is important that you distinguish with your mentor whether they are happy to take on the role of keeping you accountable, otherwise keep this relationship separate. Be sure to give back as much as you receive with your accountability partner as they are more than likely looking to you to keep them accountable to their own goals just the same.

Know who your Community is

There is a great guy by the name of Seth Godin who has done quite a few talks on TED.com and he emphasizes the need and importance of creating and belonging to Communities. Communities in Simon Sinek’s eyes is a group of like minded people with a set of common values and beliefs. So, on the path to success it is important to be mindful of who your community is. Who are the people you are hanging around, surrounding yourself with? We all know that we have some people around us are energy suckers and haven’t a positive bone in their body. The question you need to ask is, do these people care about me and are they providing benefit and value to what I am all about? do they believe what I believe? Find your Community and surround yourself with people who believe what you believe.

Just go out and do it!

If you follow these elements, you will undoubtedly achieve your version of success. What does this look like? Only you will know. Will it change along the way?
Miss Universe Organization to change the rules for this by announcing that transgender women be allowed to participate in the Miss Universe pageant next year.

Miss Universe Organization to change the rules for this by announcing that transgender women be allowed to participate in the Miss Universe pageant next year. The foundation said that they still make this an official policy change. However, final results are expected soon to be released soon. This rule must be approved by Donald Trump, who runs the Miss Universe Organization and NBC who holds the rights to broadcast this event.

As reported previously, Jenna Talackova (23), one of the finalists of Miss Vancouver, denied intending to enter the competition as Miss Universe Canada because Jenna was born a male, even though it was undergoing hormone therapy since age 14, and a sex-change operation at age 19.

Jenna’s sex change is what makes members of the Organization of Canada mendiskualifikasinya Miss Universe pageant Miss Universe Canada from the 61st to be held in May. According to the rules, contestants should naturally born as a woman. Jenna pleaded with foundation leaders to change this rule.

“I am a woman. I was disappointed and felt that the decision to issue me the reason they give is not fair. I never asked about any special considerations. I just want to compete,” I’m Jenna in an interview last week.

Advocacy group Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) asked Miss Universe Organization to review the case of Jenna, and open up opportunities for transgender women to participate in this competition. Miss Universe Organization’s decision will be a step forward for the transgender equal rights.

“The decision to enter into beauty pageants transgender women we are the result of our ongoing discussions with GLAAD,” said Paula Shugart, President of Miss Universe Organization. “We have a long history of supporting equality for all women, and this case is something that we respond to the serious.”

Advocacy groups are celebrating the decision, at once grateful that Jenna could still become one of the contestants. Miss Universe organization following institutions that have transgender discrimination against women, including the Olympics, National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Girl Scouts of America, and America’s Next Top Model.

“At the time of transgender people are routinely denied the same opportunity to acquire a home, employment, and health care, today’s decision is in line with the growing level of public support for transgender people across the country,” said Herndon Graddick, director senior programs for GLAAD.

The same progress of course also expected to apply in areas that will affect more people, such as the issue of employment discrimination and violence antitransjender.

As a continuation of the Miss Universe Organization’s decision, the trial for next year’s Miss Universe pageant will begin this summer.

...but she gets to stay on the show!

The Apprentice, Celebrity Edition has got a lot going for it over the years. Folks like the show, especially when they get the chance to see celebrities go at each other and take themselves apart; especially getting the chance to actually see these celebrities come apart, sometimes physically, sometimes emotionally…; especially the part where they get to hear The Donald deliver those two iconic words to someone who otherwise may never have heard them before: You’re Fired!

There was something a little raw about the show’s last airing though, and the unprecedented happened. After trading scathing words with Comedian Arsenio Hall for several minutes, reality star and Danity Kane singer, Aubrey O’Day, suddenly upped and decided she had had quite enough! At least, for the moment, she had.

Her precise word were: “I don’t want to be around all the negativity anymore. The environment is so ugly. I just don’t know if this is the right place for me.” It had to be the end of the road for her on this year’s The Celebrity Apprentice, and many fans of the show would beg to agree, considering that she gave up much of the rights to her righteous indignation when she dished out just about as much ‘negativity‘ to many of her fellow contestants in the weeks leading to this showdown.

Perhaps, again, many would be sympathetic to Aubrey’s plight, especially considering how harsh the Coming to America actor has been on her in times past. Why, it got bad enough insult comic and stand-up comedienne Lisa Lampanelli stopped thinking it was funny and took sides with the singer against her fellow comic, ripping Arsenio Hall a new one for talking about a woman that way. But what again could be expected from someone whose name is a derivative of the word ‘arsenic,’ a steel-gray poisonous element that can be quite corrossive in it’s acidic form.

But is was a heated affair all round while the celebritries on The Apprentice 12 tried to create a 60-second commercial. Ms. Lampanelli also has occasion to have and out-and-out with Dayana Mendoza and muscle-bound Incredibe Hulk actor Lou Ferrigno, understandable, considering they they both continued to under-perform in the tasks given them.

It should have been the end for Aubrey, though, and everybody thought so. You don’t walk out on your prospective boss in the middle of an interview, however bad it’s going – not if you want the job; and you certainly don’t walk out on billionaire real-estate magnate Donald Trump… But as it were, it appears Aubrey was just letting off some steam, and The Donald is being all professional about it – she will remain.

And the battles rage on…

The Donald, has seemed to have lost his mind this season with the firing of two celebrities, Adam Carolla, and race car driver Michael Andretti, or was he just angry because Adam refused to bring back two with him so one could be fired. Adam took the blame for his failures and went against the Donald which angered the captain.

Adam and his crew were to do a presentation for Buick, and did a great job even though Lou Ferrigno, famous body builder was whining like a big baby the whole while. The boys put on a great show but it may have been the third grade humor that done did them in.

The ladies won the challenge under the leadership of Debbie Gibson, a singer from the eighties although it really was a team effort as well. Lisa Lampanelli, comedian was strong, as well as funny, as always. The others were too busy bickering about Debbie to really concentrate, but they did win, so they must have done something right.

What is responsible for the plight of the American economy? Is it a weak and clueless president, or is it an efficient party politics machine. Find out in this short but simple piece...

Image via Wikipedia

The GOP has worked overtime in the last two years to stygmy any progress to be made by the Obama administration, even at great expense to both the economy and the growth (restoration and development) thereof. Of course, the reasoning behind this is simple enough – anything they can do to discredit the “First Black President of the United States of America” would be a plus, but more important is that they unseat the Democratic Party in the next presidential elections.

It hurts when celebrities and public figures use thier popularity the wrong way – big names such as Matt Damon and Donald Trump whom one would expect to know better tend to speak with minimal information. The Donald’s attacks on Barack Obama’s viability as president was uncalled for, especially considering that the United States is essentially and literally a nation of immigrants. Matt Damon, whom I love on the other hand, is obviously speaking out of impatience in his desire to see changes made. True, change has been slow and The President does seem to take his time on some issues, but there is no denying the fact that the change experienced in the American economy has both been real and measurable over the past four years. Well, at least, Jason Bourne clearly has a passion for his country - wonder what the real estate mogul really has to show for… anything, that is, besides a woeful credit score.

Image via Wikipedia

It’s the hypocrisy of democracy, simply enough. It has little to do with the flight of the American people, but more to do with how long either party can hold on to the Oval Office and influence policy to please other wealthy people and make themselves richer! Only America can wake up and make matters right; too bad history shows that the majority is usually wrong, while an informed minority is informed enough to make the right choices. Too bad history shows that the ignorant majority tends to win the vote while the informed minority is silenced by overwhelming unpopularity. Way to change the world, America.

Donald Trump anoints Mitt Romney, and Newt Gingrich is not pleased.

Mitt Romney continues to push the envelope of free speech, on Friday essentially shouting “You’re fired!” in the midst of the imploded economy we call Nevada. In short – he accepted the endorsement of Donald Trump, whose good will he seems to care about very much, considerably more than he cares about the good will of “the very poor.” Of whom he cares about not at all, or so he claims for the nonce.

He and wife Ann stood with the wannabe kingmaker, faces frozen at the antics of the surreal pasha of personal promotion. (Though Ann’s rictus grin slipped for a moment when Trump handed off the microphone to Mr. Romney and moved behind her. We are certain we saw her jump abruptly and grimace. Precisely why we will not speculate.)

Newt Gingrich also cared very much about receiving the Trump Stamp. (We search for a graceful way to make a “tramp stamp” pun somewhere in here but can’t seem to make it fly. Ah well. The reach must always exceed the grasp.) He, and much of cyberspace, assumed he would get it. Mr. Gingrich and Mr. Trump have seemed at times best of buds. The former speaker is a member of Mr. Trump’s exclusive Northern Virginia golf club. Mr. Gingrich was first to agree to the Trump-moderated GOP debate that never happened, as none of the other candidates were much on board with the idea. Mr. Trump has denigrated Mr. Romney repeatedly in the past.

But Mr. Trump backed the presumptive nominee (and presumably will try to take credit for Mr. Romney’s almost certain win). Mr. Gingrich did not handle it well. His campaign immediately fired off a spiteful letter to the Florida Republican Party, insisting they change the rules after the fact to allot their delegates proportionally. Grrrr.

Really, Mr. Gingrich, you have only yourself to blame. The Donald would have backed you, were you poised to all but lock up the nomination. You had a chance at it, too. Had you not abandoned your sole successful line of attack, we are certain you would now be in the catbird seat.

Mr. Gingrich won big in South Carolina. At the time he was running ads castigating Mr. Romney on the most effective terrain: Bain Capital, tax returns, Cayman Islands accounts. To repeat: Bain Capital, tax returns, Cayman Islands accounts. It was working. Big time.

Then, abruptly, something happened. Powerful Republicans cried foul, made criticism of vulture capitalism and shady offshore tax dodges off-limits, and Mr. Gingrich acquiesced. He returned to the theme of which no one cares a whit: health care. Romneycare = Obamacare = Whatever.

Honestly, nobody cares about the health care thing. Nobody. As in, for God’s sake, nobody. As we have pointed out in previous writings, the right wing has attached its flatulent wind-bag of hatred onto whatever issue it can dredge up – which alternates between “Obamacare” and “budget deficit” – and pretends to have an issue it’s angry about. Right-wingers are not angry about any issue. They’re angry at President Obama personally: He doesn’t look right to them. His middle name is “Hussein.” End of story.

Mr. Romney is vulnerable on his shady finances. Just say the words to him. Say, “Tax Return.” He stutters and haws and hems and flails his arms about like that robot on the old “Lost in Space’ show. Say “Cayman Islands” and he almost rolls on the floor kicking his feet in the air and rants about how very very hard he was worked for everything he has.

That line of attack worked. Mr. Gingrich had a real shot at this thing. Not anymore. And now he stands alone, abandoned even by the one man on this planet who is his equal at combining that uniquely Republican mix of arrogance and ignorance: The Donald anoints Mittens. Newt – and perhaps even Ann – weeps.
