I want to know how productive I can be in ten minutes per day.

Life can be very busy. We have so much that needs to be done everyday. Sometimes we feel like we will never get to the things we want to do in life. That is when we need to set aside some time everyday to do something that will get us closer to those desires and goals.

When can we find the time to Do the Fun Stuff:

Wake up 20 minutes early and spend time doing what you want to do. I like to write several times per day. When I can write for 10 minutes three times per day, I can have projects done on a regular basis.

Do what you love while you eat lunch. Brainstorm, plan, work out the details in the time it takes you to eat a meal.

At night after everyone else goes to bed. I get some of that planning and detail work done when the house is quiet and I can actually think for a change.

Why ten minutes?

It does not take long. You can get on with your day.

Sometimes that is all it takes to start a longer session. If you get on a roll and keep going, you will get even more done.

You force yourself to focus on what you are doing. There is no time to wonder off and forget what you were doing.

Do it everyday. Make it a habit. Make sure you do something everyday or you will skip your 10 minutes and you will start to loose great creative time.

Just a few days ago, a workmate was fired...here are some reasons why.

I think she was very funny, and almost always had a smile on her face. She was spontaneous and ingenious.

These are some good points

But the problem wasn’t that, the problem, and that is the point of this article was:

- She wasted a lot of time in the web in office time

I know that is a controversial point in each company. Let or not let the workers get into youtube, twitter, facebook, messenger, triond, etc? Well, she did it all the time. Maybe 4 to 5 hours a day

- She was lazy

She knew that her work, the files that she had to check and correct, were increasing day by day, she didn’t work hard to get it done. She almost did the contrary: she used her time talking, in phone calls, seeming or apparently working but not doing anything seriously.

- She didn’t respect to her boss

She talked to him just like to anyone else. Maybe that is not wrong in a reunion or a birthday, but not in the office

- She always left the office on time, no matter what

Even when she was responsible of an area, if a supplier was in the company, she told him that he must leave and continue with the work tomorrow because she had to go.

Never gave an extra minute for the company. What is this attitude saying? That she wasn´t interested in the enterprise.

Well, thank you for reading. Please leave a message if you want to.

Have a nice day.

A half of my full two-page and five paragraph paper written for an Advanced Placement American History class. Enjoy :)

During the early nineteenth century, the industrial business was beginning to gain popularity within the states. Industries were beginning to be a necessity in the American economy, and thus Americans began to smuggle British secrets and mechanics for their own countries’ benefit. The industries in America were very profitable and beneficial for the country, but unfortunately, certain characteristics within the society showed the industry business to be more harmful than helpful. In Europe, mobs of workmen were out and protesting which warned industrialists to be cautious to avoid a fate similar to that of England’s. Over time, the American industry was fairly successful in relation to the respect and protection of republican ideals and workers rights through the Lowell system.

Industries became necessary and important in America because it was a way to get many workers to make a lot of a certain product for a big profit. Industries were initially founded by rich Boston merchants with the urge to take advantage of a peaceful rural setting as well as the water power of the Merrick River, seeing that all power came from the water flow. As industries rose from these rural areas, so did the population in places such as Manchester, which was the capital of cotton at the time. People from England and many other areas knew and marveled at the well-off industrial system which enhanced technology to an advanced level and produced large amounts of products for a large profit. Although the industrial system seemed flawless and perfect, there were many problems within the factory such as the conditions the workers had to face. The factories were cramped, dark, very cold or very hot, disease-infested, and loud. The conditions were terrible and thus caused many to disapprove of the factories and industrial system as a whole.

To avoid mobs and protests from the workers in the factories and people who generally thought industries were wrong as a whole, certain plans and actions had begun. For example, many advocates of manufactures saw the misery and poverty of the English factory workers and, deciding that the American workers would not take a similar course, instituting a strict system of moral supervision and locating all factories on the countryside.

ONLY HALF IN CASE SOMEONE FELT LIKE CHEATING

Homework is boring but you get punished if you don't do it. Read this guide to learn how to do it decently with minimal effort.

You must understand that your high school years don’t matter as much as you think. It’s perfectly fine to try to have as much fun as possible all throughout high school, but the punishment is never fun. This guide will teach you how to do your homework decently with minimal effort. Which leads to less punishment and more fun!

Do Homework When You Shouldn’t Be

This concept works on the principle that you’ll be more likely to do it if you know you shouldn’t be. In a boring class start on your homework. Even if you have to constantly cover it up with notes when the teacher turns around you’ll end up getting quite a bit done. An added benefit is that the class will be fun because you are forced to exercise your multitasking, ninja skills such as watching out for the teacher but still getting homework done.

Copy Answers

The majority of math homework you must do will have a page containing all or most of the answers for the homework. Teachers always assume that students can’t copy answers because they must show work. You can sometimes get around this. You need to do the first problem of each type. Look at about how much work you must show. If you don’t have to show any work then copy answers for all the problems of that type. If you do have to show work, write down the original problem followed by the number of blank lines you needed to show work for the problem you did, then write down the answer. If you find that your teacher doesn’t check to work and only checks to see if you did work, you can just BS work. Of course be sure to include the original numbers.

Do Homework Before Class

If you weren’t able to BS your homework at home, try to do it in the classes before the homework is due. Just like the first suggestion, try to do homework for your next class during the class you are in. If you don’t eat lunch, you can try to rush your homework in that time. If you arrive to school five minutes early, use that time to complete some.

Rush It

If all else fails and you don’t get your homework done, always have something down. Some teachers will be willing to give you 1 point for having something. Not only will this help your percentage in the class slightly, it will also prevent you from getting punishments instilled from not doing your homework.

If you have math homework with answers, write down the original problem, the answer, and then skip a line before moving on to the next one. By writing down the original problem it not only makes it bigger, but it looks like you did more. The skipped line makes it look cleaner and less rushed.

Thought I'd throw all of this out there.

1. When they don’t treat you the same as they always have. It doesn’t matter if its better or worse, this is a sign that something has changed in the dynamic of the relationship and that usually sends a couple down the drain.

2. If they text more than they talk to you when you’re hanging out. Happened to me; It wasn’t fun.

3. When they’re embarrassed to be seen around you. If they walk away from you when their friends come near, or anything changes in the way you communicate when yours or their friends are around.

4. If they eye any members of the opposite sex overtly while you’re together, ignoring your attempts to get their attention. This means that they aren’t excited by you anymore; you’re losing their interest.

5. When they avoid direct confrontation when it comes to talking about the relationship or how they feel about you.

6. If their friends have begun to hit on you, because then you know that they’ve let them know you’re free.

7. When you ask them to hang out and they tell you something along the lines of “if nothing else comes my way”, meaning you’re almost a last resort.

8. This one’s a sure sign that you should break up with them, no matter how much you like them. If there is anyone saying that you’re whipped, you have to break up with them, as it makes you look pathetic, and no one wants that.

9. When it gets too serious. If you don’t want it to be as serious as it is, there’s no other thing to do than to break it off with them.

10. When they regress into habits that they had before you began dating that you had curbed them of.

Sometimes it's difficult when a relationship ends and we have no idea why. Here are some signs to look for and help on how to fix it before the end comes.

Every relationship we start, we tell ourselves “This one will last.” It’s a different person and we’ve grown since our last relationship. We learn something new every time. Well now that you’ve started thinking- something isn’t right, let’s looks at some things that affect relationships that some people don’t really think about.

Sign #1: Communication

I’m not talking about hello or goodbye, I’m talking about anything and everything that’s on your mind about your significant other. Maybe they have become distant and you want to ask them why, but aren’t sure if you should. There! That’s the first sign something is wrong. If you can’t talk to them about anything that’s bothering you, the communication lines have broken down.

Another way you can tell if this is happening is if you two get in fights about little things, such as how the dishes are arranged in the cupboards, or who should do the those dishes at the end of the day. These are trivial things that shouldn’t induce a fight. If they do, there is something deeper that needs to be said such as, “You don’t contribute enough to this relationship”; “I don’t think you want to be here anymore.” Or even something simple, “Why can’t you listen?”

The best way to open lines of communication is to sit down when both of you can concentrate on the problem and have time to talk about it. Be completely honest, but be polite about it. Coming out and saying, “There’s a problem- you don’t talk to me.” That could be taken defensively and start a fight. Instead start out by saying, “I want to talk because I don’t feel that we are talking enough to each other about what’s bothering us.” If they respond with, “We talk every day.” Tell them that you feel like you can’t talk to them, that there seems to be a wall up that you want to break down. If they tell you that you can talk to them about anything, don’t just “ok” and leave it at that. Spill your guts. You may find out they have some things to say as well.

Talking in a relationship isn’t a bad thing. Some guys think that talking about ‘feelings’ are being too much of a wuss and pansy. If that’s the case- he’s definitely not ready for that serious relationship you may be looking for.

Sign #2 Flirtation

Remember when you two first met and he would kiss your neck, tease you, or just randomly come up behind you and hold you while you did something. Remember flirting? Every relationship starts out with it, that’s how we get the other person interested and let them know- hey I like you. Well after awhile, some relationships can lose that flirtation and desire to flirt.

Flirting can keep you both interested in the relationship and each other. Just a simple touch here and there, provocative text messages while they are at work, or even just the cute ‘shut up and kiss me’ look are all ways you can keep the flirting going.

If the flirting has stopped only from one person, there may be a problem. They may no longer be interested or have the mentality that they have you and should have to do no more work. If that’s the case then the relationship is over. When you are in a relationship, a good one, the desire and love shouldn’t fade in months or even years.

Sign #3: Time Together

How much time are you two spending together? And how is that time spent? If you’re going to movies, out to dinner, or cuddling up at home together- there isn’t much of a problem. If you two are sitting at opposite ends of the couch during reruns, or hardly spending time together at all- the desire and spark has gone out in your relationship.

If you don’t want to spend time together, figure out why. If you feel the time you spend together feels like you two are in different worlds- talk about it. Figure out if you two are just distracted with work, life, if there Is stress, or anything that could be causing it.

Your significant other isn’t supposed to be another job. They should be where you retreat to In order to escape the world sometimes. You should look forward to going home and having dinner together and leaving the rest of the world behind. If this is missing in your relationship- figure out why.

Sign #4: Demands

If your significant other is making demands of you- that is a huge red flag right there. Relationships aren’t about getting what you want from the other person, but a give and take. If someone is making demands, such as ‘get a better job’, or ‘stop hanging out with so and so’, it needs to stop.

Making demands of a person in a relationship is simply trying to control the relationship and the person your with. That’s not what relationships are about. If there is a bad influence on your significant other, such as the friend who is taking your guy or girl out every night to get drunk, then yes, it’s time to step in. But if it is just someone you don’t get along with, let it go, they were there before you- I doubt they are going anywhere.

If you feel there is something that your partner should be doing that they are not- talk to them about it. Don’t demand they change it, or stop, let them know why it bothers you, and why you think they should stop. Remember: talk about it- don’t demand it.

Sign #5: Sexual Activity

Plain and simple- if you’re not having as much sex as you used to- there is a problem. If you have to think to remember the last time you had sex- you need to re-evaluate the relationship.

Some reasons why sexual activity diminishes are easy to figure out, but hard to accept. One you may not be attracted to your partner anymore. Which definitely means the relationship is over. Two- a lack of communication, you could be really bothered by something, not be able to talk to them about it so resentment and anger builds. When you’re angry at someone- you don’t want to be touched or touch them. This is why it’s important to talk in a relationship.

Now if it is a simple matter of sex has become boring- there are many ways to spice things up. Talk about different positions you want to try, do some role playing, and take time for foreplay. Foreplay can be important, if you’re trying to get back into the swing of making sex fun- the buildup of foreplay is a great tool.

There are a lot of things that can go wrong in a relationship. The most important tool you can use is communication. Don’t be afraid to talk about it. You’re in a relationship, and though it takes work, it’s something that you should enjoy. You’re with this person because you are attracted to them, you have feelings, and they help fill a gap in your world that makes life fun and the hard times tolerable.

Nations, communities and the political processes that impact them.

While economies are undergoing different changes rapidly all over the world, communities and nations are realising the implications of politics on their day to lives. In democratic Countries there is a fear among people specially in the developing nations that Politicians elected to power are definitely not acting in the interest of the peoples more important problems such as poverty and quality of life of the poor.A case in point is India which has shown great strides in the advancement of their major economic goals but lags far behind when it comes to poverty alleviation and development of their rural sector. The same is true of small countries like Sr Lenka where development strategies and infrastructure improvements have hardly impacted on the lives of the poor.Poverty alleviation has been totally neglected in some of these countries to that extent that the communities living in the rural areas have been living in squalor for almost over four decades.

Some of these countries have been under colonial rule for many years. And after independence where self rule was mainly undertaken to bring about better living standards for the poor, there had been hardly any significant developments as compared to what was existing at the time of colonial

administration. If you take a case of the very basic railway services started by the British in Sr Lenka it is sad to say hardly a 100 kilometers have been added to this railway network since independence 60 years ago leave alone the infrastructure development thereof which has in-fact deteriorated since. A good example is the kind of catering services rendered both at the Railway stations and in the Buffet restaurants in the train. They are in some cases not fit for human use anymore. There is hardly any cleanliness or standards of sanitation maintained so as to be of suitable public use.
