As i was preparing to summon a portal to take us back to Earth from the Azure Paradise, another reaver came and attacked us. This time i let Meera handle it since i was in no mood to fight him and I had a portal to summon, this reaver was called Blackshroud, he is an expert in shadow arts and has a fire-based attacks and he was pretty swift too, Meera had a hard time dealing with him, she tried to dodge the best she could but he kept slashing and cutting at her. Like I said, we don’t die normally, that is due to our extremely fast regenaration, Meera finally had a chance and shot an ice bolt at him but he dodged it and threw a few daggers towards me, i drew up a force field and shot a spear at him impaling his shoulder, he fell to the ground wounded from the spear and paralyzed and Meera finished him off with a lighting spear. ‘Why do you keep showing off?’ Meera asked me with a new curiousity. ‘It wasn’t showing off, i was merely helping you kill him so I continue with the summoning of the portal and luck you it is done.’ I said with a smile. The portal shimmers and shadows dance around it as we can see our beloved urban Earth in the year 2020 and quickly crossed into our universe. Now it may be confusing but there are countless laws and rules of nature and how do we operate by it, for example, we don’t die from old age or normal weapons, but we die by normal weapons if they are used by guardians, that means guardians can kill guardians as well as there are other kinds of creatures capable of killing us.

We returned to Abu Dhabi(our local guardian base) to rest and meet up with other friends. we entered Ravenshearst tavern and found Grimoire Fauna, a french guardian who appears to be older than me by two years(I am sixteen, we stop aging at random times), he is well known for his practice of strong spells and sagecraft forbidden by the counsel of the magi which at sometimes are gross and disgusting such as his divine bolt of bile which shoots bile bolts of course or his jet of diarrhea and you probably know what it does. ‘Well if it isn’t the beautiful Meera Salem and apparently has the royalty with her too.’ Grimoire said. ‘Thank you Grim, Me and Khalid are going on a quest to fight the succubus, i’ve heard their attacking the Ethereal Plains again.’ Meera replied. ‘Oh thats a pity and how rude of you pulling me away from such a fine tavern to rest in but i suppose ill join for the fun of killing those damned seduction misstresses.’ ‘Mark my words Grim, it won’t be like last time, the Succubus have a master now, a reaver by the name Beastclaw The Charmer, i’ve heard that this reaver is not ordinary, must be some kind of big character or something so your ready for this?’ I said warning him about the danger and as always, Grim loves danger. ‘If your trying to get rid of me and have fun killing them alone then your terrible at doing so khalid, im coming guardian king or no king’ Grimoir answered with a rueful laugh and he added ‘But allow me to let my friend Brad, the Demon Alchemist to accompany us, if that is ok with you guys.’ Meera nodded and looked at me so i agreed. Brad is a seasoned guardian master of the demonic arts of magic and summoning, he once beat victor the destroyer(you’ll know about him later). Grim set about summoning a portal to the Ethereal plains, a vast landscape of fairies and other good natured spirits, yet invaded by the evil and dark succubus, women armed with black wings and tails and deathly tridents and are exceptional at seducing men into their demise, yet we do not know why have they invaded that place, its not of any value at all unless there is something hidden there.

We entered the Plains and its no surprise that we encountered the first group of succubus with the aid of a Elite rune lady(she is a tought opponent!) Meera quickly dispatched two of them with a chain lightning spell while Grim was busy guarding Brad who was summoning demonic minions to fight for him, while I was left with the rune lady and two of her succubus. The lady threw a few bolts at me but i casually knocked them over with my telekinetic force and then transmuted a BFG sword and started towards her, she sent the succubus who quickly tried to stab me with the tridents but i quickly dodged and fought with them, so far Meera has encountered another rune lady while Grim was fighting with two succubus and Brad was busy making more minions(he already deployed five who were fighting a succubus). I quickly sidestepped from an imminent attack and quickly impaled the succubus and knocked her off my sword but that all was needed for the other one to stab me right in my heart, i bleeded for a while then recovered and hurled the sword at her face but she dodged it with great agility and hurled her trident in return. I quickly melted the weapon and turned the liquid to acid and threw it back, she screamed as she melted away sizzling with acid, now another sword penetrated me from behind, it was the lady but i quickly turned and broke her hand free from the sword and pulled it from my back and threw it aside. She yelped at the sudden pain then quickly threw a few lightning bolts at me with no success and I quickly finished her off with a good earth spike from below. Meera dispatched her last succubus and turned to help Brad, Grim was sitting on a rock trying to transmute his arm into steel(he is not very good at that). ‘Looks like everything is settled guardians lets rest for a while and move on, I doubt that we have come upon this group by surprise’ I said. ‘I think they expected us’ Brad replied ‘It is possible with those two rune ladies, they can sense when a portal is about to be opened.’ ‘It doesn’t matter now, just rest’ Grim said.

After a few hours of sleep I was awakened by Meera. ‘We found Goblin troops, War gangs patrolling the entrance to that underground cave there.’ she points to a nearby valley where as i can see, is choked with goblins and succubus alike. ‘Something is not right here Khalid, I think something bad is about to happen’ Meera said. ‘Fear not! you have me remember, as long as I with you guys, we are undefeatable’ I said assuring the pretty Meera then there were shouts, the goblins have spotted us! and they have a guardian with them!. ‘Hey thats Jules Fortune! the Savage guardian!’ Grim said ‘ He was with me two weeks ago but he didn’t look suspicious or anything’. ‘Ill duel with him, with all these goblins in his presence, they the power to kill us, hehe so much for being undefeatable eh Meera?’ I said nervously. Jules moved to the front of the ranks and shouted ‘ I challenge the King Guardian Khalid to a duel! will you answer the rally?’. I shouted back a yes and we started drawing a huge circle around us marking the boundaries of the arena, in a duel, you have to kill your opponent to prove your the winner. We finished drawing and then charged towards each other, I transmuted my arm into a steel long sword and started slashing at the infamous savage who transmuted his left arm into a spiked club and the right arm into a war cleaver. In these duels its always a battle to the death, I jumped up high and turned my legs into anvils and slammed the ground causing a shockwave which crippled Jules, as soon as i charged at him, Jules shot some arrows from his mouth and it hit me unfortunately in my shoulder, wounds caused by guardians still regenarate but a slower pace. I instantly split my elbow and started shooting bullets at him, luckily he already planted a forcefield to protect himself. I quickly accelerated and hit him with a gas bomb which caused him to gag and double over and there was my chance, I quickly jumped up like a frog and landed beside him and stabbed him right in the stomach, the look on his deathly face, shocked and full of pain as he used up his last breath to tell me something ‘You……will……..die as……….prophecised………..foolish king’ and with one last shudder, he slumped to the ground and instantly my subordinates started slaughtering the goblins who were usless now.

For those of you that don’t know, Skye is another youtuber that dealt with his crap until he cheated on her with Shiloh and then promptly divorced Skye as fast as he could. Finally, despite Onision being against religion, he has a very Evangelical point of view about evolution. Basically, he thinks it’s a bunch of crap just because he never bothered to pick up a biology text book and read what it said inside. But hey, at least a fifteen year old girl managed to tell him like it is.

Be the better person. Don’t be in any type of relationship with them. For instance, keep quite about your personal business, your problems because they will use it against you, and their opinion is always right. It’s like everything in their life is perfect, they can’t do or say anything wrong to people.

Keep yourself at a distance with them. Don’t let them confide in you, be smart. They will feel like they can cry to you anytime, but as soon as you confide in them your business will be all over the job, community or the next door neighbor.

Do not give them your e-mail, phone number, address or anything to harass through.

Be very careful because some people will do what they can to hurt you or try to get revenge. They will cause trouble for you.

Always carry your head up high and avoid conlict with troublemakers at all times. The best way to handle drama is to have no reaction to all cost. be the better person.

This is the second article to my series about the freshman year of high school. In this article I am going to talk to you about the “extracurricular” part of high school (again this applies to pretty much everyone in high school).

 I was only involved in one club /organization through my school and that was theatre. I was in all three of the plays my freshman year and stayed at school until 5:00pm pretty much every day for practice. And I loved every minute of it! I acquired some of my (if not all of my) best friends through theatre. I HIGHLY recommend getting into a club of some sort, whether its a club like anime; or sports like swim or track; or organizations like student council, GET INVOLVED. It makes you a ‘more rounded student/person’ so colleges like you a little bit more, and the even bigger plus- you get a whole bunch of really close, awesome friends who you will love!

The trick is to find something, whether it is a sport or a club, that YOU will enjoy. The rest follows. If you enjoy it and the other people there enjoy it, then more than likely ya’ll will enjoy a lot of same things, giving you some really close and great friendships that start and are connected on a little bit of a deeper level.

Tip: If you hear about or have an idea for a club that your school does not currently have, talk to your administrators about it and if they approve, find a sponsor for it and voila! You have a club, it’ll be easier if you get one or two other people to help you get it started, from there see if you can get it put on the announcements for the word gets spread fast and those who want to join, can! (P.s that will ALSO look great on college applications- “I started my freshman year and then ran the _______ club all four years of high school” ß Awesome!)

The most important thing is to HAVE FUN. Don’t NOT do something because of other people, even if those other people are your friends. Be YOU, if you want to join the swim team DO IT. If you want to join the ‘Glee club’ then DO IT. It doesn’t matter what your friends say because odds are you will find other (possibly even better) friends in the clubs you wish to join. (If they are REALLY your friends they will support you no matter what.)

Also, try out a little bit of everything, if you are slightly interested in joining something, go to a meeting or talk to someone who is in the club to see what it’s like. You may be surprised!

Being a part of something makes high school SO much more fun! Makes sure to check out the clubs at your school, you can even talk to your counselors about what clubs your school has available to you and find out who you need to contact for information about them. Don’t be that kid who goes to school and then goes home. Colleges don’t like that and honestly, YOU won’t like it.  High school isn’t ALL about the academics- it’s about having FUN too, and being a more ‘well-rounded person’. So ENJOY high school while you have the chance, but don’t OVERLOAD yourself by signing up for 10 different clubs, find out how many times the clubs meet a month and on what days they meet, along with for how long. Make sure they don’t conflict OR take up all of your time. You need down time and time to keep up with your school work so I recommend joining the 3-5 you want to join THE MOST. And if you only want to join 1 or 2- that’s fine! As long as you are in something and enjoying it- that’s all that matters!
