This is my analysis of the Republican Party's choice for President.

Summer is here. The US economy created only 69,000 jobs in May, which is not very good. The stock market is dropping. Oh, boy, we get to pay through the nose for gas because President Obama will not let his ban on drilling. Hey, why don’t we produce oil from all of the wells we have capped? I find it most interesting that in 2008 when we were paying over $4.00 a gallon for gas, the stock market was about where it is now. When the stock market dove down below 6800, our prices and interest rates dove too. Now that Wall Street is making tons of money, our prices are right back where they were in 2008. The President cannot help that because when Obama signed his Credit Reform Act in March 2009, the bank raised their interest rates, and started charging fees again. They did that before the law went into effect.

The Democrats have convinced most Americans that the answer is GOVERNMENT REGULATION, but the problem is that GOVERNMENT REGULATION IS EXPENSIVE and IT DOES NOT WORK. Our government is bigger now than it has ever been. The Labor Unions, especially SEIU have created a pension system that is unsustainable. Now, the Republicans are pushing Mitt Romney.

Let me tell you something. MITT ROMNEY IS JUST AS BAD IF NOT WORSE THAN PRESIDENT OBAMA!!! LOOK AT THIS: FORMER PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON IS PRAISING ROMNEY AS A “STERLING BUSINESS LEADER” ROMNEY CARE IS COSTING THE PEOPLE OF MASSACHUSETTS PLENTY! WHERE DO YOU THINK THAT PRESIDENT OBAMA GOT THE IDEA FOR OBAMA CARE FROM? YES, YOU GUESSED IT, MITT ROMNEY!

MITT ROMNEY is a PROGRESSIVE just like PRESIDENT OBAMA. If you are smart, you will write in Ron Paul on the ballot. Did you ever wonder why the Republicans did not push him more? He was against BIG GOVERNMENT.

This is just one man’s opinion, but I am an INDEPENDENT THINKER. See you at the polls.

Some people don't think of cheap motel rooms as a home for those who lost theirs. But here's something that would make them believe.

Let’s say that you live in Central Florida and decide that you’re taking a staycation, but you opt for something even more quality than cheap motel rooms.

Well, whether for just doing business or (if the kids are at school) meeting Mickey, you drive to wherever you’d see in your near-home vacation. Along the way, you eye schoolchildren with backpacks and books coming to the bus, which stops at a strip of motels.

You wonder if they are on vacation (or staycation) too. You wonder if they are just going on a field trip to see what people do in a hotel. Perhaps they are just fooling around, and the bus perhaps is picking them up because they are caught playing hooky.

But here’s the sad truth about those pupils boarding the bus from motel parking lots and driveways: they came from homeless families.

There are a lot of reasons why people become homeless. Obviously, they’d lose their homes by fires, storms, or any circumstance that makes them uninhabitable. Even at times when the economy is good, there will always be people who would still lose their jobs and struggle to make ends meet.

Oh, and let’s not forget that many people are working, but they are doing so at low wages. Even when they get paid, they sometimes have to make the clearly split decision between food and rent. The definition for a “job” is better treated as a dire acronym for most people working like they should and barely getting by. JOB is “just over broke.”

So why do so most homeless people, including most of the working poor, reside at places where people stay over when they go on vacation? Why not a homeless shelter? Well, people need somewhere where there’s electricity, running water, and places to sleep. Some homeless shelters have filled their quotas, and some others require to split families up so that people of the same gender can sleep together in dormitories.

To keep them together, families turn to motels for shelter. Sure, they have to pay rent, but they find it better than residing in a car or worse. They can worry a tad bit less in terms of privacy, simply because they don’t have to share a room with other families. They can eat meals they fancy (even if they are ready-made ones, common for the underemployed) without fighting.

But, because they are small places as opposed to the suites people associate with perceptions of great hotels, they are cramped. Kids are likely to have to sleep on oft-dirty carpets on hard floors, often on comforters or sleeping bags. Though some rooms are lucky to have microwave ovens, families have to rely on mainly nonperishable foodstuffs like ramen noodles and peanut butter sandwiches.

Living in a place where people sleep when going on a trip can be more or less worse than living in a shelter, depending on the situation. But both scenarios are hard to bear.

So, if you are taking the family on vacation or going on a staycation at a nearby tourist town and you see backpack-clad kids heading to the bus from the motels, know that they are less fortunate than you. Keep them in your memories and perhaps during or even after your trip you can find ways to help them.

We need to let the Iconoclasts in congress and the whait house that just because they are over educated IDIOTS, they are no better than we, and we can send them packing !

This book deals in detail with World War II and how the Allies pulled off a victory when it seemed that the Axis powers might just prevail. A very interesting novel, easy read, and extremely informative. It brings about a new perspective of World War II at realizing the closeness of Defeat verses Victory.

Richard Overy in 1995 published his novel titled Why the Allies Won; Overy is a professor of modern history at King’s College in London and has published numerous works on World War II. Why the Allies Won is inclusive to Overy’s in depth study of why the allies won World War II, when it seemed that the axis powers were ahead until 1942-1943. Overy begins by clearly laying out the basic information as to why the allies did win. He discusses three major elements of World War II in terms of where the battles were: in the sea, in the air, and on the ground. By doing this he is clearly illustrates the allies’ rough situation upon entering the war, and how they were able to improve their performance both militarily and economically and come out of World War II victorious.

Overy discusses, in great detail, the war at sea. He goes into depth discussing the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, which ultimately cause the United States to enter the war. He talks about the intelligence of the allies and how they were eventually able to break the code of submarine warfare tactics which allowed them to defeat the German U-boats. The code-breaking and radar technology allowed their anti-submarine warfare tactics to become technologically superior alongside the United States Navy; both of which led to the demise of the German U-boat threat and the Japanese Navy.

The war in the air, as portrayed by Overy, consisted of more ineffectiveness, than actual effectiveness. Overy illustrates how the American bombing offensive had cause disruptions in Germany’s economy and actually diverted Germany’s resources to Reich. However, Overy also illustrates the importance of the American bombers along with the new radar technology, when dealing with the Japanese Navy and locating submarines. In one aspect, Overy does not seem to give the air force enough credit, but then in other areas he illustrates the importance of the aircraft with the bombings. For example, he talks of the Soviet air force and how their skill and confidence was aided in the allies winning the war; however, he compares that to the Germans and Japanese who were more militarized at the beginning of the war. In the way Overy compares the nations, he clearly illustrates that the allies had to learn how to fight in war; while the axis powers were already prepared for war.

The difference between the allies and the axis powers military skills, according to Overy, aided in the allies’ victory. The axis powers were prepared for war, while the allies had to learn war. The allies being pulled into the war, especially Britain and America were not as prepared but could then use more modern technology to create better equipment. This element is obviously important in answering the question of why the allies won and Overy does not ignore its importance. The technological advances and quality was illustrated numerous times when dealing with aircraft, bombers, submarines, tanks, and radars. He also illustrated how Germany was also working to improve their technology. In return, Germany developed too many weapons that were not as effective as their old, while at the same time, the Soviets continued working on making fewer new models of weapons but mass-producing their old weapons. As Overy also points out, this is an economic downfall to Germany as they are spending money trying to create something new, that in return fails, the Soviet Union spend their money producing the same equipment and not losing money in the long run.

The weapons proved vital for on the ground warfare. The axis while having better trained soldiers, focused on placing their combat troops in the front and not many in the rear. The allies placed more emphasis on using their troops for supply purposes which allowed them to continue warfare without break unlike the axis troops which were constantly running out of supplies and getting bombarded by the axis while waiting for supplies. Overy illustrates in precise detail the statistics of the allied resources in comparison to the axis resources and in return he portrays the obvious superior allied supply forces. The axis powers were lacking in shipping, tanks, aircraft, oil, steel, ordnance and ammunition as well as man power. All of these, the allied troops had plenty; they relied on obtaining their steel from American and was able to extract twice as much oil as the axis powers. The axis powers had oil; however, Overy points out that they did not have the drilling equipment to obtain the oil. The oil that Germany had and was able to extract was watered down by the time it reached the battle fields, which decreased its octane levels. Germany was unable to successfully extract and transport the high octane oil that, in particular, was vital for their aircrafts.

For the war on the ground the Soviet military force had been nearly defeated in 1941, after the near defeat, Stalin placed strict guidelines on the troops about desertion as well as surrender. Stalin told all troops that any soldier of any stature who muttered surrender or deserted the troops was to be shot down. The soviet military troops were quick to learn from their mistakes in 1941, and Overy points out how they organized themselves better and quickly became an overwhelming ground force that held massive defeats at Stalingrad and Kursk. Overy also points out that with the, now highly skilled, Soviet military and the inexperienced American troops working together axis illusion of victory would quickly fade.

Overy illustrates key elements in all the tactics made by the prominent military figures. Overy dedicates an entire chapter discussing not only the well-known military figures such as Churchill, Stalin, and Hitler, but he also points out key figures that are typically looked over and not often appreciated. Little known figures such as Alexander Novikove, who was the architect of the Red air force, and Alexei Antonov who became the chief of staff after 1943 is portrayed by Overy as being important to the allies winning World War II, but often ignored by other historians.

Overy examines six different settings in answering the question of why the allies won. He begins by discussing the navy powers and used the Coral Sea and midway, and the Battle of the Atlantic to illustrate the allied Navy powers. He used Stalingrad and Kursk to portray air warfare tactics. Finally, he used the strategic bombing offensives and Normandy to portray the technological and leadership aspects of allied victory.

One element that Overy also includes in a separate chapter is that of morality and the moral aspects of war. This is an element that is important to World War II and the allies’ victory over the axis powers. In this chapter Overy includes the atomic bomb and nuclear warfare that was used at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. While the super bomb was effective in winning the wars the result of the atomic bomb was much more horrific than anyone anticipated. While there were originally three atomic bombs only two hit their target and left massive destruction and devastation after the realization of the atomic bomb it was a morality issues and decided that nuclear warfare would never occur again. When dealing with warfare Overy points out that civilian lives are commonly lost to the best of soldiers abilities, but to the extent of nuclear weapons, morally and ethically it was wrong.

Also in dealing with morality, Overy explains the Japanese warfare tactics with suicide bombers and people willing to give their lives knowing it would be lost, in comparison, with the allied troops who were willing to fight to the death. The difference between fighting in war with the intent to fight to the death verses fighting to die brought about another great point in not only warfare but the different nationalities and cultures that were involved in the World War II.

Why the Allies Won is a novel that would be a great addition to any historians library or simply for a World War II enthusiast. This book provides great insight on World War II and an in depth look at the allied verse axis powers. Throughout Overy’s book a reader is pummeled with historical statistics and data that make the book perfect for research. In addition to research the book is overall an easy read, and both accurate and reliable facts. The book is a quick read and can provide much insight into intricate details often overlooked about World War II, as well as makes readers question and wonder what would have happened had the axis actually been victorious instead of the allies. One downfall that I discovered in the book was that it took some getting into. Like any great literary work the beginning can often seem dry and loose the interest of readers, for me it began slowly but by the time one reaches beyond the first chapter the book is one that is difficult to put down. The range and use of blending both allied and axis information into each page keeps the readers in tuned to a chronological aspect, although the book is not in chronological order from cover to cover, and helps the readers realize how things played out. I found it to be fascinating how Overy includes a cultural historians point of view in the book with the included chapter about the morals of war and the different moralities concerned with each nation, how those morals differed yet the soldiers were all present to win the war.

In conclusion, Overy allows readers to thoroughly understand the outcome of World War II by illustrating elements such as: technological quality, combat prowess, organization and leadership, and even comments of fighting a moral war in order to express why the allies won World War II. Overy presents these thematic elements in a way that can easily be understood by readers, without omitting facts and statistics. Overy does not allow for any misconceptions when one finishes his book. From military leaders to battle plans, Overy covers the entire course of World War II, in order to answer the ultimate question that many people ask: how did the allies win the war after the axis powers were so far ahead.

You may have been a victim of identity theft and felt teh frustration of trying to correct the problem. It can be a long battle and money spent just trying to rectify the identity theft.

Identity theft is a very emotional crime for the victim. They may spent lots of time trying to correct the credit and contacting their banks because of fraudulent charges. This could be quite frustrating but I’m sure its more frustrating if you know who is committing such a crime but no one would help. What if they kept diverting your mail to a different address? What if you found out that your bank card was charged? You may start feeling helpless and angry because of the attacks you are receiving. You must fight back because if you don’t than they will keep doing it and others will feel exactly what you’re feeling.

Those who commit this type of crime feel that they are invincible. They believe that the law will do nothing or it will take so long that it wouldn’t matter anyway. You may want to put a whammy on them but don’t. They will get caught just not in your time frame. They will slip up and than the law will have enough evidence to take them in. If its say a mother in-law than she may just want to frustrate you. So what she has people helping her like those in the post office. You can get around that by writing every agency you know. So hold on a change is surely coming.

Identity thieves are a nuisance and it can take a long time trying to catch these bad guys. keep your head up and continue to make a difference. No one wants to be a victim of identity theft but it happens, especially in this bad economy. You must relax and do what is necessary to get your life back. Identity Thieves you won’t win!

In this article I write about the need for every conservative and traditional values individual to promote and vote for Mr. Romney.

I was a substantial critic of Mr. Milt Romney during 2008 and 2012 republican primaries. It is still of great importance to me that political leaders have great honor and integrity. During Obama’s experimentation with social reengineering we have learned how dangerous fascist are in any society.

I am not saying my problem with Mr. Romney was that he was a fascist. I have written I could not trust a person who changes his beliefs regularly. However, I am smart enough to see how democrats out voting republicans in republican primaries has brought us Traditional Values people and conservatives to the choice of Milt Romney.

The reality is that America is in great danger. The issue is no longer Mitt Romney. The issue is the death of America through Socialist fascism.

Obama does not know better than most of us. Obama’s accomplishments are his healthcare reform and spending 7 trillion dollars. Obama and his bureaucrats are using Obama-care to interfere with the religious liberties of religious organizations. Obama-care is an extreme financial burden on individuals, organizations, and companies. The interest on monies Obama borrowed are increasing the American debt everyday

Mr. Mitt Romney is a better leader. His resume is the resume of a talented proven leader. He knows how to cut spending (including employees) in order to save a company. He will be able to downsize government and save tax payers money.

I have written that the relationship between government and the citizens is a delicate balance between governing and freedom. Mr. Romney understands that it is not governments’ job to manage, orchestrate, or run the American free enterprise system. Governments exist to administrate government departments and protect the public welfare.

Threats to the public welfare have to be legitimate not perceived threats. Capital investment is not a legitimate threat to Americans. Investments fuel business start-ups, which in turn fuel job growth and economic growth.

For too long the liberal democrats have been brainwashing Americans in to hating the American free enterprise system. Since Obama took office he has been criticizing chief executive officers, Wall Street, and other symbols of the successful American economy.

Yet all these ingredients are necessary for a prosperous economy and successful people. We need not give up on ourselves. Everything that is, was, and will be is still possible.

Freedom fuels the greatness that decent and good people can create. Even in these troubling times I believe that the majority in any people group are good and decent people. The average person does not believe that his or her success is invested in how much he or she can take from his or her neighbor.

Only Obama and his kind think in such foolish terms. Who spent the US into great debt? That would Mr. Barak Hussein Obama. The rich, successful, and wealthy people of America did not borrow and spend America into the current economic mess.

Furthermore, I have no problem in supporting Mr. Romney. I had the opportunity of watching Mr. Romney’s speech at Liberty University (my Alma matter) and this morning I saw Mr. Romney’s speech to the Hispanic Economic Coalition.

These were great speeches focusing on the public policy initiatives that will lead America out of this current economic mess. Low taxes, low government spending, and low government regulation will allow for greater investment in American and Americans.

However, do not be fooled. I have my eyes wide open, looking for any signs of wavering by Mr. Romney. If I see any wavering on ultra conservative issues, I will report it. My report will not be to knock Mr. Romney down, but to help him improve as a servant of the people.

I want Mr. Romney to win because America will win. I am fully aware of the challenge. Liberals are resorting to all their tricks. The network news is liberal. These liberals are manufacturing polls to make Obama appear more attractive and to demoralize conservatives.

This is why every voter is going to be necessary. Traditional Values and conservatives have to vote and help promote and market Mr. Romney.

America was built on the tradition of the potential behind freedom. I heard Mr. Biden, vice president of the US, retort that liberals dream and want personal success. It is apparent liberals want to be the only ones that have their dreams come true.

I am not a slave of Obama. I was born free and will die a free man. It is impossible to remain free when Obama wants to take everything I earn.

Let us have a mature and serious conversation on petty envy. My life is not defined by how much more my neighbor has than I have in life. This is Mr. Obama’s campaign in a nutshell. In this year’s presidential election, Mr. Obama cannot campaign on Iraq, Afghanistan, Guantanamo Bay Cuba, the national debt, tax reform, and illegal immigration reform.

Afghanistan is a mess. The US has no influence in Iraq. Egypt, Libya, and all the other Arab nations who went through the Arab spring are now under Muslim extremist’s control, i.e. Iran’s control. The residents of Gitmo were not giving civilian trials and Gitmo was not closed down. Ninety five percent of Americans did not get their Obama promised tax cut. Obama did not cut the deficit in half. He doubled the deficit. During Mr. Obama’s first two years the democrats were in charge of the Legislative branch and the Executive branch and did not bother to construct one immigration reform bill. To date Mr. Obama has not issued any immigration reform public policy.

However, there are still people high on the novelty presidency of Obama. We cannot allow this man to ruin America. I have set aside my concerns about Romney. America is more important than my personal held belief system. In addition, Romney is not a deviant. Mr. Romney is educated and has excellent experience administrating large systems, such as the Olympics. Mr. Romney is also a person with high moral character. Any one when compared to Obama has high moral character.

Therefore, please get involved in building a better tomorrow for all Americans. Vote republican for president and congress. In addition, get involved in the Romney optimistic and positive public relations effort.

An outtake on what people say and a different thought trend from the norm.

I was listening to people talk one day. It was an amusing conversation. I stayed silent because they weren’t going to listen to me anyway and I have different views. I also wasn’t in the mood to debate or argue over stupidity. So needless to say I just listened and in my mind I was laughing hysterically at it all. These people were crazy or at the very least selfish.

So what is this conversation?

Person 1: I think people shouldn’t get tattoos. It’s disturbing what people do to their bodies. Small tattoos I can handle but big ones is just insane.

Person 2: I like tattoos but I won’t get a big one. I also think they should put it in appropriate spots. Women getting chest tattoos is just too disturbing. That is something that shouldn’t be seen (Keep rambling on about how tattoos should be received.)….

Me (Thinking): I won’t get tattoos because I personally can’t stand needles. It’s hard enough at a hospital just to get an iv in me. At the same time, what a person does with their own bodies is their business and no one else’s. If it’s not hurting anyone I don’t see the problem with it at all. What’s the big deal? I don’t want to see tattoos on people’s asses or any body part that shouldn’t be seen in public but I also don’t really care. It’s that person’s own body and no one else’s.

The next group of people was even more entertaining.

Person 1: Employers have the right to fire someone if they don’t dress right!

Person 2: I believe in equal opportunity for all!

Me (Thinking): I also believe in equal opportunity for all. I still think an Employer has every right not to hire someone based on their choice of dress. If someone came in for a job interview as a cashier and dressed in hot dog costume I wouldn’t hire them for the position at all. The only thing I don’t agree with is that men still get paid more than women and the the ladder of payment is as follows from highest to lowest:

White Man

White Woman

Black Man

Black Woman

That’s the current status of who gets paid more from top to bottom. As you can see, I don’t see as fair! I do think Employers have every right to not hire someone based on appearance though unless it is because someone just looks ugly or plain. That would be vain and selfish.

Yet another conversation.

Person 1: Gays shouldn’t have the right to marry! It’s against God’s will!

Person 2: I believe in civil unions not gay marriage.

Me (Thinking): You’re both for inequality at this point! What’s wrong with two people of the same sex getting married anyway? As for God’s will no one truly knows what God’s will is and that book the Holy Bible is filled with so many contradictions anyway. (I read three different versions and got kicked out of a church for asking questions about these books.)

I also believe that two gay people getting married should not be anyone’s business and on a brighter side it could create more jobs. That’s what everyone is complaining about right? Let gays get married and soon you will have job openings for wedding planners, bridal shops, florists, and more. It would get the economy rolling again I think.

More conversations to come as I listen to people talk. It’s rather funny.

Indian economy is on the way to disaster. This is all due to Global recession especially Euro-zone effects.

Inflation

What I feel is that present depreciation of rupee could be due to Euro-zone effects, which would last for some more time as long as Europe does not come out of the grip of its present economic crisis. Reserve bank can hold the situation up to a certain extent and after that; it may only boomerang on itself.

There is no doubt that problem is getting worse as inflation is rising by the hour but the main reasons reason behind are our bad policies, careless bureaucracy and worst politicians. They are selling out our country for their self-interests and making bad policies for the sake of creating their own vote-banks.

The politicians are doing all out efforts to suppress whatever efforts social workers are trying to bring back system on the track. The present lot of politicians are least bothered about people of this country but looking for their own selfish designs. They are leaving no opportunity to make money from whatever transactions they are doing.

Then there is matter of higher import taxes, and there is one more point worth mentioning here that higher import tax only helps small industry in our country because most of the industry here use homemade raw material. Higher import tax affects either bigger industry or the ones who are importing in bulk for retarding in India.

For the time being, we have one big problem on our hands and that is mainly to keep oil prices under check. Oil price is the only weak link that can influence the economy as this has an impact on every consumer item.

I agree here on the point that this is universal crisis, which we are facing today but this was already there in US for quite some time but we had learned to encounter it. Now this Euro zone problem is some thing new for us besides our own policies are making things worst for us and our leaders and officials concerned. Although they know how to tackle these, but are too slow to do any thing in time bound manner.
