Currently IQ no longer be the only indicator of a person’s ability and success, including in education. The theory was first discovered by a British psychologist, Alfred Binet and his friends are no longer dominate the world of education. Especially after the Harvard psychologist Howard Gardner questioned the sense of IQ as the sole kriteia intelligence and develop new intelligence in his book Frames of Mind (Gardner: 1983) with the concept of Multiple Intelligence. Gardner originally discovered at least seven kinds of intelligence in each person, namely: Linguistic, Logical-Mathematical, Spatial, Kinesthetic, Musical, Interpersonal, and Intrapersonal. Further traces of Gardner’s theory of intelligence which was followed by a new version of Daniel Goleman, as well as husband and wife scientists Ian Marshall and Danah Zohar.
