<p>The reason? Nowadays employers value experience more than qualifications, you can be train on the job for a lot of things. And if todays statics are anything to go by you will probably be earning more than most of those who went to university.</p>
<p>For some university is still worth while but with the rising fees its not as appealing anymore and it may not even been worth going, once again university is for the rich. But thats just my opinion, what do other people think. For me I would go back and not bother with college I feel its made me worse off.</p>
<p>&ldquo; It depends on your major.&rdquo;</p>
<p>&ldquo; in my opinion it is better to get a higher education as you are (usually) more likely to get a job with a higher qualification.&rdquo;</p>
<p>&ldquo; Depends on your goals. A lot of people go straight to a four year, getting it done, all while working a part time. Then there are those that have no intentions on going. They are usually the ones that work right away. A few take a break and then go. It all depends on what you want to do.&rdquo;</p>
<p>&ldquo; It depends on what you want further down in life. Do you have some plan for what you intend to overall with your life. Investing time in educating yourself is good and will give you advantage over the others, however if you go to college for the purpose to avoid working a job &#8211; that&#8217;s silly. You only need education for the reason of achieving some bigger purpose. On the other hand you can get self educated via books, courses, internet ,etc. (again it is for fulfilling a bigger goal that you might have) .&nbsp;</p>
<p>Getting a temporary job also might prove helpful (if you never had a job). You will learn new things, some real things from the real life and get some experience. However be careful not to get stuck with a job you dislike.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Smart people don&#8217;t work just for the money. More likely they work to learn and gain experience which they can implement further in life for achieving a desired goal. So yea.. it seems like it boils down to having a clear goal.&rdquo;</p></p>

<p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<strong>Reduce taxes</strong> &ndash; conservatives and the Tea Party argue that this is the way for our economy to grow again.&nbsp; As they see it, such an initiative will be good for businesses that are the creators of jobs.&nbsp; The down side of this is, that in the process there will have to be cuts and layoffs.&nbsp; As soon as a reduction of taxes is on the table, it is generally the social programs that will take the greatest hit.&nbsp; Do we want the least among us to suffer with policemen, firefighters, and teachers?</p>
<p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>Raise taxes</strong> &ndash; liberals are quick to jump on the bandwagon concerning this issue in order to solve our financial woes.&nbsp; To date, many Democrats say that the rich should pay their fair share.&nbsp; It is generally floated that those that earn more than $1,000,000 per year should fall into this category.&nbsp; Others feel that one percent of all Americans should see such an increase in their taxes.&nbsp; Conservatives respond, not so fast, for if that was implemented it would be affecting small businesses that are the creators of jobs.&nbsp; Thus, there is gridlock for those advocating lowering and those that say to raise taxes.&nbsp;</p>
<p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>Job sharing</strong> &ndash; according to some policy makers in the United States, job sharing has been successfully implemented in Germany.&nbsp; This is basically how it works.&nbsp; Two employees will split a job by working 30 hours each in a 40 hour week.&nbsp; Government will then chip in by paying each the extra 10 percent of their salary.&nbsp; In this way, a company can reduce its workforce, employees will continue to be employed while maintaining their skills, and instead of full government unemployment checks, government will pay less in the process.&nbsp; This arrangement has the potential to save billions and there should be no reason why it should not be embraced by conservatives and liberals alike.</p>
<p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>Loans to entrepreneurs</strong> &ndash; there is no reason why private sector loans should be dismissed as playing a vital part.&nbsp; It is through these that &ldquo;mom and pop businesses&rdquo; strive.&nbsp; These entrepreneurs appear to be dwindling in American society.&nbsp; We hear that family farms for instance, are being gobbled up by big corporations.&nbsp; Still, small businesses around the nation employ the most employees and although they are not as diversified as they once were, they still play an important role in our daily lives.&nbsp; The problem is that when the economy sours as it is now, these loans dry up and there is no place to turn.&nbsp; We often greeted with the term, &ldquo;banks are not lending.&rdquo;</p>

<p>The literal definition of a contract is: &ldquo;A&nbsp;contract&nbsp;is an&nbsp;agreement&nbsp;entered into voluntarily by&nbsp;two parties or more&nbsp;with the&nbsp;intention&nbsp;of creating a legal obligation.&rdquo; This means in my words that a contract is something that 2 persons or more can agree to a certain deal to create a legal aspect.</p>
<h3>Types</h3>
<p>There are two types of contracts you have verbal and written;</p>
<h3>&Oslash;&nbsp; Verbal</h3>
<p>A verbal contract only exists when two parties agree with a spoken word to bind in a verbal agreement. This is mostly done between friends and/ or businesspeople who know each other close enough to trust them with a legally bound spoken agreement or a handshake.</p>
<h3>&Oslash;&nbsp; Written</h3>
<p>A written contract is used in the business world which is more common for people to be bound by the terms of a written contract, where they both have to sign a written agreement, in the form of a document. Some contracts must be written and signed by both groups:</p>
<p>o&nbsp;&nbsp; The law that is related to the sale of land requires the contract has to be written with the terms agreed by the parties and has to be signed and dated by them.</p>
<p>o&nbsp;&nbsp; The Consumer Credit Act 1974 regulates that all credit and hire agreements have to be in writing.</p>
<p>o&nbsp;&nbsp; Another requirement of employment legislation is that all employees are given a contract showing terms and conditions of employment within two months when they start their working periods. However, a contract does not need to be formally written to provide that the employer will inform the employee of those working conditions within the first two months.</p>
<h3>Standard form</h3>
<p>There are standard forms of contracts where companies can hold themselves to; they are most of the time produced by the company itself. These forms often contain the terms that the amount to custom made offers and acceptances fit to the individual business needs.</p>
<p>Some advantages for using standard form contracts can include:</p>
<p>o&nbsp;&nbsp; Cost reduction</p>
<p>o&nbsp;&nbsp; Avoiding the need for individual negotiation</p>
<p>o&nbsp;&nbsp; Regular parties such as producers and suppliers that contract with a frequent basis become familiar with their rights and obligations.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yes another youth unemployment article, but this time we are going to look at what can stop young people getting a job.</p>
<p><strong>Piercings</strong><br />Many employers don&#8217;t like piercings other than the traditional ear piercings. So that means if a young person has nose, lip or stretched ear piercings then they&#8217;d better remove them if they want the job.</p>
<p><strong>Tattoos</strong><br />Again many employers dislike tats especially if its in a noticeable place ie. forearm, neck etc. Even more so if its something that can be deemed offensive. If a young person is unemployed, with a tattoo they can pretty much kiss a job goodbye.</p>
<p><strong>Hair colour</strong><br />Many young people love to experiment with wild and wacky hair colours like pink, blue, green and purple but this can have a negative effect on a possible employer as it can look intimidating or just too wild. Employers tend not to allow it.</p>
<p>Now there are a number of other factors that can stop a young person from obtaining employment but why should these three things matter? They are forms of self expression. Why can&#8217;t we express ourselves the way we want to? If you ask me its pure discrimination. Basing whether or not a youth can have a job based on hair colour?</p>

They hold themselves back from earning more money or from good standing with their teachers without ever realising it. This is because they make themselves seem less intelligent and more lazy than they really are. And this is how they do it.</p>
<p>The most common mistake is the way you speak with your coworkers, boss, teachers, or superiors. Most people who are aware that their position is above yours will want to be treated accordingly. This doesn&#8217;t mean you need to grovel and bow, but it does mean that you should not be overly friendly and casual. Telling your friend that their girlfriend is &#8220;f***ing hot&#8221; might be fine, but it is not at all appropriate to say the same thing to your boss. Even if your boss treats you this way, and has indicated that it is okay for you to do the same, it is always best to err on the side of caution. Always be professional, or you will not succeed in a professional environment.</p>
<p>If this is hard for you to do, imagine the person you try to behave best for. It might have been your mother when you were 12, or your father-in-law, or an old boss with high standards. Behave this way in any situation that is professional or academic. It sounds small, but considering that over half of all people are held back from promotion and are thought of as inappropriate and immature because of it, it cannot hurt to try. Anyone looking to recruit or give raises will think, &#8220;this person cannot even be bothered behaving properly, why would I expect them to work properly either? I&#8217;m not giving them the promotion!&#8221;</p>
<p>The second most common mistake is in written correspondance &#8211; typically email. You probably already know that you need to be careful with emails, because anything you send can be forwarded to other parties. Anything you type is a permanent record attached to you, so only type things you are comfortable with the whole world potentially seeing. Perhaps three quarters of people, however, are quite unaware of this. I know university professors who receive emails which say things like &#8220;i forgot the hmwk lol can u give me a extnsn?&#8221; This is hugely inappropriate. It takes only a few seconds longer to type &#8220;Dear Professor, I apologise that I have been unable to finish the assigned homework. Is it at all possible to receive an extension? Kindest regards, &#8230;&#8221; From the professor&#8217;s point of view, then, this is a person who is too lazy to type even for a few seconds longer, and is also unintelligent enough to, after 18 or more years of life, not have learnt even the most basic rules of social conduct.</p>
<p>I have seen high school students writing to their teachers asking for a reference for jobs or college. A well-written request almost always results in a better reference. For a busy teacher, if the student doesn&#8217;t think the job is worth writing a decent email about, then it must not be worth the teacher&#8217;s time to write a shining reference for either. By writing poorly, you betray a low intellect, ignorance, rudeness, and that you feel it is unimportant. I am sure none of these things are true, yet this is how things come across.</p>
<p>It is surprising how many people are unaware of these things. Most people seem ignorant of the fact that it is always better to be overly polite than overly rude. It is always safer to seem professional, especially in writing or with superiors. These are the people who, year after year, are not promoted. They do not receive raises. And why should they? Their attitude tells their boss that they do not think the job is important enough for them to put in the tiny effort needed to be professional. If they don&#8217;t think their job is important, then the boss would be wasting a promotion on them. Better to give it to someone who thinks it is worth getting.</p>
<p>It takes so little effort to be professional. By not putting in that effort, you tell the world that if you won&#8217;t put effort into something like that, then when more important things come up, there is little reason to believe that you would work hard then. You come across as unintelligent, ignorant, and lazy. But you aren&#8217;t that sort of person. So put the effort into making people realise that.</p>
