Anger does have amazing energy behind it and it will change your life, but the results depend on the use. Use Wisely.

As you may already know, anger is the most simple emotion to fall back on. When things go wrong it’s easy to get mad. What I bet you didn’t know is that you can harness the madness and it’s energy. Everything in life is made up of energy, but anger releases a bit more energy than is necessary. So why don’t we harness that energy? Because this energy is potent and powerful and has the ability to destroy in the wrong use. If you can master this energy, you can do so many things. I have learned that changing your thoughts during a moment of anger, towards someone or something that always makes you feel happy, can dilute the anger. Even getting rid of the emotion of anger doesn’t just make the energy from it just disappear, take control of these energies and you can change your life for the better. Anger is an embarrassing emotion that can ruin your life and make you hate life. Our worst and most pathetic emotion has the most power behind it. Ever notice that we are prone to breaking things when we are angry, even things we can’t break when we’re in any other mood.

Well you can change your anger into something completely different, something that uses more brain power than muscle power. I bet you didn’t know that such energy existed behind anger. It’s impossibly addicting and very hard to control but the secret to complete control is this.

Meditation, but in a whole new way. When meditating the first thing you need to do in order to achieve a blank mind is a custom way that I use.

While trying to clear your mind, your mind itself fights back and forces more thoughts into your head, but you have the ultimate weapon. That weapon is imagination.

So imagine a white board that’s completely blank, you have the only marker. Nobody else can write on your board except you. Any thoughts can be pushed behind the board and to ensure that you stay clear minded, switch your marker for an eraser, so that you make no mistakes. Already my mind is clearing itself, even as I write this…..

Sorry I kinda had a moment there.

Anyways after achieving a blank mind just sit still and focus on a single thought that makes you angry, then as if that thought is a tiny, freezing child, cover it up with a blanket of warm and happy thoughts until it is cold no more. Do this over and over until you no longer have thoughts that make you angry, until even things that happen in life can be easily covered up with positive things.

Life is only as miserable as you allow others to make it, you are not alone, you do not have to venture down this road alone. There are many people out there who have tried and tried to get rid of their anger, with no results, but this is different, this is self-taught and self-learned. Results will appear, no matter what. Anger doesn’t control you, you control anger, and in your hands, the energy from anger can either create or destroy. You Choose.

A personal rant about the need to pull ourselves from the crumbling wreckage of ignorance and apathy.

Man we have got a long way to go as a species. The turmoil that surrounds this mortal coil at times can almost be unbearable. The topics of global climate change, failing economies, human rights violations, starving populations, globalization, genetic modification, drugs, cloning, war, genocide, and what hell can be done about it! The average person scratches their head and deems the subject too depressing, makes some comment about the futility of the matter, and proceeds to normal animal behavioral function. Critical thought has seemed to have eluded the “Hive”, and this “Hive Mind” mentality is a mold to be broken. No longer do we have to be slaves to a system put before us when we can collaborate to form new systems all together. With the plethora of information available to the world via “the web”, we can learn, build and organize in ways that never would have been imaginable in previous times. New ideas on ethics and philosophy are rising from this climate of calamity like Open Sourcing, Anonymity, and the quest for “truth” and “knowledge”. I feel a different climate coming, one where we will take manners into our own hands and live in a way that is beneficial for all. All children of all species for all time. If we as individuals and communities could occupy our minds we could do amazing things as a species. Taking control of our food, water, and energy needs will be a primary step, while eliminating systems of pollution and implementing standards for universal sustainability. Why should we idly stand aside and bide our time when we can do something about. “But what can I do?” asked the one who’s lost his way. The answer is quite simple really. First you’ve got to care. About something positive, anything…really! Then you’ve got to ask yourself: “What am i good at?” Whether it be cooking, gardening, music, engineering, programming, writing, speaking, organizing, literally anything you can do can make a dramatic difference in shaping our reality, something we forgot we had the power to do! Educate your self about whats going on in your community and begin to learn about things that would be beneficial. If we can shed the skin of apathy then our sight will be renewed.

This is a paper that I wrote for an Appalachian Studies class, that deals with the Cherokees and the Missionaries that came into the Cherokee Nation trying to Christianize the Natives. This deals with the educating of the Cherokees as well.

The Cherokees and Native Americans are often viewed as heathens by people in the south along the Bible Belt and the Appalachian Region. However, it is important for individuals to realize that Christianity played a vital role for the Cherokees. The Cherokees in particular were spiritual in their beliefs and they also prayed in their own ways, they accepted the Europeans beliefs because of their openness within several organizations. Overtime several different denominations began to enter into Cherokee lands and slowly began to preach, settle, and eventually convert numerous Cherokees into Christianity.

The Native American culture, having been commonly viewed as heathens by Christians, had their own sets of beliefs prior to the Christianization efforts. Christians did not and some still do not realize that their forms of worship and their beliefs are not that different from Cherokee traditions. The Cherokees believed in a Supreme Being, who was the Creator of all. The term spiritual for the Cherokee culture meant an “active and alive flow of energy that connects us all to the Universal Spirit.” [1] Garrett also describes that to a Cherokee being spiritual is similar to holding on to something that we value, such as a lesson in life that we are taught. That is directly related to the way in which we are brought up as children, and how each family teaches and stresses different moral and traditional values to their offspring. While the term spiritual is interchangeable between a way of life for the Cherokees or a religious belief, the spiritual paths of the Cherokees were not taken away by the Europeans who tried to Christianize them. In fact it seemed that the Cherokees wanted to fit into the European culture and by converting to Christianity they were able to fit in and for them that meant become a more civilized culture as a whole.

Prayer is also another term that people associate with Christianity and modern religions. However, the basis of the term was set years ago by the Native Americans. Prayers for them were often in the form of chants or ceremonies. During a prayer the Cherokees did not ask for anything but guidance, but more commonly prayers were believed to be used to give thanks. “The process of praying for Native Americans is fairly open, but subtle; we use certain hand movements…the same is true [for Native Americans] with pointing the open palm(s) toward the sky in ceremonies, which signifies giving thanks to the Universal Spirit and the Great One.” [2] A prayer may be sent by the offering of tobacco much as the tithes that are paid to a church today.

The Cherokee beliefs were generally polytheistic and the belief in multiple gods existed, but one was held to a higher stature than the others. For instance, they believed that the setting Sun was the holder of evil gods, the reason most of their dwellings had openings that only pointed to the east toward the rising sun. Most believed in some form of afterlife and believed that during the afterlife there would either be punishments or rewards meted out by the Great Spirit. One Cherokee after the conversion to Christianity described his belief prior as: “To reverence the great and Supreme Being, love my friends deeply and to take vengeance on my enemies [and after converting to Christianity] In the Indian devotion there is nothing like pure religion. Tho’ they have faint ideas of Deity, yet they are far from loving him with all the heart.” [3] The Christian Cherokee reported his findings in 1823; nearly 25 years after the missionaries began entering the Cherokee country.

The process of Christianizing the Cherokees was a long process that took place over the course of several years. Upon initial arrival the problem amongst the missionaries was the language barrier. The Cherokee syllabary was created around 1821. With the use of the syllabary Cherokees could now learn to write their language on paper. In 1824, John Arch a full blooded convert became inspired to translate a section of the Gospel according to St. John into Cherokee. This invention facilitated the transformation of the Cherokees. [4] Then by 1828, Samuel Worcester, the editor for the Cherokee Phoenix[5], translated the Lord’s Prayer.[6]

Missionaries began coming into America as early as 1566 with a Catholic Priest by the name of Father Rogers. Rogers upon contact with the Native Americans was uncertain and was unable to communicate with them. Rogers was not able to provide much teaching to the Cherokees, but he was the first recorded missionary. [7] Rogers was not the only missionary to enter and not be able to communicate with the Native Americans. In 1758, a Presbyterian missionary by the name of John Martin began trying to devise a plan to convert Cherokees into Christianity, and in 1799 Moravians entered the Cherokee land and was taken aback at how they were unable to communicate with them.

In the early 1800’s, missions into the Cherokee lands began to increase. At first the Cherokees was not officially opposed to the preaching of Christianity, but they did not want churches built. Cherokees instead wanted their children to be able to attend a school and learn reading, writing, and arithmetic so that their children would be able to communicate with the increase number of Europeans. The Cherokees wanted their children learn all that they could so that they would not be as illiterate and ignorant as they considered themselves to be. The same concepts exist today with the parents of children wanting their children to go beyond what they have been able to accomplish.

Gideon Blackburn, a Presbyterian who was contacted by John Martin after he had visited the Cherokee country, began asking for a government grant in order to educate the Indians. The process was slow and the two began talking in 1758, but it was 1803 before Blackburn received a grant of two hundred dollars in order for him to create a school. Blackburn received the Cherokees approval and was able to construct and establish his first school, one year after receiving his grant. Two years later, in 1806, Blackburn was able to create his second school by using left over funds from the first, and by the success of his first school.

The same year that Blackburn established his school, John Gambold a Moravian missionary was also looking into the Christianization of the Cherokees. Gambold came into the Cherokee country in 1804 and began trying to educate and preach to the Natives. Gambold found out that the Cherokees wanted schools and not churches just as Blackburn had discovered and in 1805 established the Spring Place Missionary School. The missionary school began with mostly young children but later branched out to have some adults in attendance as well, hoping to learn English. In 1819 Spring Place had 2 to 14 children in regular attendance and by 1830 they had 32 adults and 31 children. [8]

Cyrus Kingsbury was the next large player in Christianizing the Cherokees. Kingsbury saw the success of Blackburn and Gambold’s missionary schools and decided to create some of his own. In 1816 Kingsbury, created the Chickamauga Missions School on a 25 acre plantation. The Chickamauga school was a small portion of Kingsbury’s plans to aid in the education of the Cherokees. Kingsbury created what became known as the Brainerd Missions. Brainerd held numerous schools of different branches. Taloney was created in 1819; Creek Path in 1820; Hightower, Willstown, and Haweis in 1823; Candy’s Creek in 1824; New Echota in 1827; Amohee in 1831; and finally Redclay and Running Waters were created in 1835. All of the schools worked together but separately to educate Native Americans living in different parts of Cherokee country during the time period.

In addition to the Moravians and Presbyterian, there were also the Baptists and the Methodists that came to the Cherokee country. The Baptist associations came into Cherokee country from Georgia around 1816. The Baptists and Methodists did not set up any schools; however, they did preach and teach to the Cherokees. The Methodists came into the Cherokee country from Tennessee. The Methodists was under the Conference of Tennessee, directed by William M. Mahan. They set up four schools and had all of them established by 1828. The Baptists and the Methodists found the aid of the Cherokee Phoenix to be very helpful because they could distribute scriptures as well as hymns in both English and Cherokee. [9]

The missionary efforts were great by 1829, it is recorded that there were 1,028 Methodist Converts. The Methodists were the most effect in reaching out the Cherokees first. By 1831, it has been recorded that there were 192 communicants, 120 Baptists, and 74 Moravian converts.[10] According to Gulick in 1960, “There are as far as we know 17 churches.” 11 Baptists, 1 Episcopal, 3 Holiness, 2 Methodists, and the Roman Catholic and Mormon services are held in a community building, all of which would not have been made possible had it not been for the early missionaries that began working toward Christianizing the Cherokees in the early 1800s. Four of the 11 churches that Gulick found still offered church services in the native Cherokee Language. [11]

For the most part, Eastern Cherokee churches preach of the sinfulness and evilness of mankind along with the necessity of the belief in Christ so that the Native American can be saved and escape hells fire. With non-Indian church goers there is an intense emotion. The Native Americans, on the other hand, remain impassive and their social behavior does not typically express emotions during church services. However, they are accepting of the emotional responses of the non-Indian church goers and have grown to expect the outburst. The texts are sometimes sung in the Cherokee language, but they are sung to tunes derived from non-Indian backgrounds. [12]

In conclusion, the Cherokees may have been unwilling to accept Christianity and churches at the beginning, but they finally allowed missionaries to begin creating schools in 1799. To the Cherokees the schools were a necessity for their children to be able to live a civilized life amongst the Europeans. It was easier for them to realize the benefits of education than it was for them to see the benefits of Christianity. However, through the blending of Christianity and education the missionaries were able to accomplish both the education of Native Americans and the converting of Cherokees to Christianity. After 1816, missionaries built a network of boarding schools which catered primarily to the highly acculturated Cherokee leadership of the early 19th century. [13]The progress was great, acceptance was wide spread, and children as well as adults began to attend. The converting of Christianity grew and exists today in the Cherokee Nation. Today many people still view the Native Americans as being uncivilized and heathen, but in reality they have been quick to accept Christianity and are no different than the non-Indian American’s.

This article will explain the issues the world faces with regards to global energy reserves.

It is a commonly known fact that the worlds energy reserves are running out. Huge developing countries such as the BRIC’s (Brazil, Russia, India and China) require huge amounts of energy to grow as economic powers. This therefore puts a huge strain on the worlds already limited supply of energy. Prices of fossil fuels such as oil and gas continue to rise as demand increases and as supply becomes less and less. This creates lots of issues that need to be addressed if the world is to continue without major problems.

China, one of the fastest growing countries in the world with a population of over 1.3 billion has a huge demand for energy. Although it has some renewable projects such as the HEP station at the 3 Gorges dam, the majority of its supply comes from fossil fuels. It also has to import large amounts of energy. Russia is creating a large and controversial pipeline called the ‘East Siberia Pacific Ocean’ or ESPO pipeline to supply china and Japan with energy. Connections like these have to be developed in order to distribute excess energy to countries that need it more. However these connections can also cause conflicts. For example Kazakhstan has a large supply of uranium, the fuel for nuclear power stations. Both China and Japan are in conflict over who Kazakhstan supplies. As reserves become smaller conflicts like this are likely to become more common. This is an issue that needs to be addressed.

Countries such as Russia have a huge dominance in the supply of energy. Due to the Siberian gas fields, and the large amounts of oil it effectively has a monopoly over the European supply of gas. This has allowed it to harass eastern bloc countries such as Ukraine with huge increases in energy prices following a cut off of supply on several occasions when the counrty refused to pay. This example is just one of the potential issues that the world will have to deal with as energy reserves run out.

The North and South poles are the last explored areas of the world. But it just so happens that they contain huge amounts of oil. In the arctic circle, this has prompted a ’second cold war’ over who owns the oil there. Russia has laid claim to this territory by planting a flag underwater on the Lomonosov Ridge. They claim the ridge is part of the continental shelf of Russia and so, by territorial law, they can claim it as their own. Conflicts like this are only to increase as strain on resources also increases, forcing countries to exploit sensitive areas of the world such as the arctic. This is just another issue that the world will have to deal with more often in the future.

Finally, the issue over peak oil and gas is also one that needs to be addressed. Peak oil and gas is when output of these resources reaches its maximum. When the current levels of extraction of reserves are measured, and then compared with the predicted peaks, you will find that the world is very close to those peaks already. The estimated year the peak will be reached is 2020, just 9 years away. The future of fossil fuels is undoubtedly short and so in the next 15 years an alternative source must be found. This can either be in the form of not so pure fossil fuels such as the tar sands in Canada which, despite this, are already being exploited. This is much more costly. It costs $15 a barrel to extract oil from the tar sands compared to $2 a barrel for conventional crude oil. This alternative source would cause high prices and environmental issues as the extraction damages the environment massively. Therefore a more ‘green’ solution would be favourable. Even so after the peak, oil production will drop by 3% a year. This will lead to large and deep recessions as businesses will have to make cuts to compensate for higher energy bills. This will undoubtedly cause economic problems for many countries.

So to conclude, the issues associated with energy security are hard to combat and will have devastating consequences if they are not properly managed. With oil and gas becoming more expensive countries are looking for new and alternative sources. These can come from renewable sources such as wind power, HEP and solar. However for countries such as china, this is far too expensive to fully rely on. Nuclear power is also an alternative, though with the recent accident at Fukushima people are becoming more sceptical and afraid of the dangers associated with it. This leaves the world with huge problems to solve. New solutions must be created or existing ones adopted before our reliance on fossil fuels brings us to physical conflict over resources.

Don't know how to describe about Death. Its really hard for me.

Almost everyone in this world like to deny about death. No one want see death. Its unbearable to hear about the death of a person we love. but there is a fact that “Everyone will die sooner or later”. but no body wants to die sooner. Earth is a mysterious place, god has created for humans to live and survive but Where are we running? When each day passes we are getting nearer and nearer to death. Death is behind all of us.

Science defines Death as it is the term used to describe the cessation of all biological functions that sustain a living organism. All known organisms inevitably experience death.[1] Bodies of living organisms begin to decompose shortly after death.(Wikipedia). Well it is so easy for science to describe how death is but think how it’ll be like, I mean a person who we have loved or who we have seen yesterday, when dies, is no more… the feeling it is intensely hurtful. I’m not scared of death. Yes I’m not. but even though I’m realistic in my life I can’t think about anyone else dying so which basically makes me unrealistic because I like to run away from fact inorder to make myself comfortable to live here on Earth. Its so crucial to see ones dead body. I would never want to see a lifeless organism or I should I say energyless organism.

According to Law of conservation of Energy, energy can neither be created, nor be destroyed but it can be transformed from one form to another. So now the question is Death and Life – a transformation of energy? I think its because of this thought humans believe in incarnation, after life, spirits, etc. But I don’t know whether its true or false because after that my information regarding it is almost null and void. Well all of us know that there is energy everywhere. Energy is anything and everything… and when we dies where is this energy going? an energy which was with us, until we die or the moment before we die, where is it? Where is it going? Does spirit truly exists? What is it to be die? I wonder whether people who are claiming that they’ve seen death with their own eyes and has escaped from it, is that true or just our brain’s trick to hide it from reality. I think I’m deviating from the subject now. so the question is that whether Death is a friend or a foe. Death is painful I think. Sometimes it may be instant like instant death or sometimes old age, sickness etc but I’m sure that death is painful indeed. – may be for the one who die or the loved ones. We can basically call something painful as a foe but Death is essential in some other way. I think that makes us an earth being.

No one in this world know why are we dying and why are we living. I don’t know what made me write this article. I’m feeling like its totally insane to even write about it. but I don’t know.. I ‘ve just felt to write it and I did.

The sun, whose energy, having helped life evolve and nurtured it, will eventually destroy the inner solar system, including whatever remains on Earth at the time.

April 22nd will of course be the next Earth Day, so stop and think for a moment about just how fragile our home world actually is. Many people prophesy so-called doomsday scenarios approaching, but in reality the only absolutely certain end of the world will happen when our sun reaches the end of life as a star.

Whether or not anything resembling humanity will be there at the end – 4-5 billion years time – is debatable, but the end will indeed be fiery, because our sun, as a so-called main sequence star burns hydrogen at the core, it to make the heavier element helium and generating energy, providing the Earth with the necessary energy for life to thrive, as it has for the last 5 billion years or so.

As, toward the end, it starts to run out of hydrogen, the rate of fusion reactions will start to slow, creating less of the outward radiative pressure that counters countering the massive gravitational forces of the sun. This will make the core shrink, condensing helium atoms, which will eventually start to fuse, creating heavier elements.

Vast amounts of energy get generated at this point, causing the star involved radically heat up and expand, becoming a so-called Red Giant many times the original size, so much so that, in the case of our own sun, the expansion will swallow Mercury, Venus and, possibly even the Earth, though all life, atmosphere and oceans will have been vaporized long before that.

I can appreciate that this seems pretty horrific, but in all honesty, this is all just the natural life cycle of a star like the sun, whose energy, having helped life evolve and nurtured it, will eventually destroy the inner solar system, including whatever remains on Earth at the time.

It is perhaps for that reason that we ought to really think about the earth we inhabit, and the damage out thoughtless actions as a species have been inflicting upon it for several centuries now. that untold catastrophic climate changes have occurred during the unimaginable aeons of earth history, the ones that truly concern us should be those of the here and now.

We still have the ability to make societal changes world-wide that will counter all the negatives of the past – with universal support and co-operation – but it is imperative that we genuinely grasp the nettle hard before the consequences of earlier reckless human behaviour become a runaway force that we are helpless to counter.

Think about these things on Earth Day, as you settle to enjoy your breakfast. That we are here at all is an accident of circumstance, the planet on which our species evolved having luckily been in just the right place to be an eventual breeding ground for life, but the earth is so finely balanced, in all respects, that our thoughtlessness could well provide that shove that will ruin the ecological status quo, driving all life on earth to the brink.

Earth Day should be about celebrating the natural splendour that is all around us, and helping to maintain the correct balance of nature by taking far more care about what we do and how we do it. Our planet is all we have as a home – until inter-galaxial space travel becomes a reality, if ever – so we simply have to take better care of it, or we might ourselves be just as doomed as the planet itself, though probaly surviving nowhere near as long.

Earth day was first celebrated April 22nd 1970th with mass demonstrations for the environment, which was attended by more than 20 million people. The idea of celebrating Earth Day was introduced by John McConnel at the UNESCO Conference 1969. Same year he designed the Earth flag. Officially, this day marks since 1992.

First early Earth Flag designe

Each year on the 22nd of April over billion people in more than 157 countries around the world celebrate Earth Day as a global movement aimed to protect the environment and natural resources of our planet.
The purpose is to warn of the danger that threatens life on Earth due to the rapid development of industry and increased consumption of energy, which lead to the release of large quantities of toxic substances into the atmosphere and the increased use of fossil fuels.
Modern society is simply inconceivable without gasoline, oil and coal, which is dominated by the industrial world and are the main cause of global warming.

According to Earth Day Organisation, this year Earth Day is celebrated under the slogan “Mobilize the Earth” to emphasize the important fact that the Earth will not wait. Campaign for Earth Day 2012th was designed to provide people the opportunity to unite their voices and thus further strengthen the movement for environmental protection and provide renewable energy for all and sustainable future for Earth. The movement consists of individuals of all ages and from all parts of the world at local, national and international level, with emphasis on the cessation of the use of fossil fuels and turning renewable energy, improving energy efficiency and taking actions that energy becomes available to everyone.

One of the main goals of this year’s campaign is “A billion acts of green” which main goal is reaching one billion acts of green until the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio 20) in June 2012. year begins, which will then be presented.

During the month of April (and especially April 22nd) Earth Day Network and its partners worldwide will organize a campaign to raise awareness about the importance of preserving the Earth.

Every year the world consumes over 500 billion plastic bags, of which 99% ends up in the seas, oceans, rivers and lakes which kills hundreds of thousands of animals because trash is being mistaked for food.

Start from yourself and how great Gandhi said: “Be the change you want to see! “

This is a short but informative passage about how to get inside Dr. Halsey's lab in The Package.

You’ll need two players for this and you MUST play on Legendary. Skip to Rally Point Bravo on The Package. Play the level until Dr. Halsey announces her lab is open. Do not enter the lab or access the panel on the door to end the mission. If you don’t have a Jet Pack, grab one from the northern side of the lab entrance area. They are on the wall without any flashy Armor Ability holograms so they are a bit hard to spot.
One player must stay in a safe spot while the other accesses a secret panel. Fly to the far eastern line of buildings. Run up the ramp and turn left, or north. A fenced off area on the upper level lines the out-of-bounds region to the northeast. Drop off the northeastern corner and ease your way towards the rocky out-of-bounds area below but do not touch it! Hover above it and look for a panel with a green light you can access on a girder. Hit X to activate it.
This will open a door on the north side of the Halsey’s lab entrance. A half dozen Elites will stream out of here with Energy Swords. Fly over them or run a Ghost through them and enter the open door. You will then be transported to a hallway. Follow the hallway to the lab area where you can view a number of Easter Eggs, from readable data panels with inside jokes to old Halo art. Enjoy!

Some dreams seem to affect us emotionally. A nightmare for example will often leave us feeling rather emotionally afraid, or even traumatised. This article will examine some of the reasons for this from the spiritual perspective.

Feelings and emotions from a spiritual perspective stem from what is known as the emotional plane, or which is also called the Astral plane. When strong feelings or emotions are being experienced within a dream, this means essentially that we are having a dream experience within our emotional body on the Astral plane.

The emotional body is one of the bodies that you can dream through.

The dream body operates in a slightly different way from your physical body but it can still experience these types of reactions in the body during a dream. The physical body is still in contact with the dream body even during a dream, and so a strong feeling, emotion, or thought, that is bothering you in the physical body can be uploaded, so to speak, to your dream body to be looked at in the context of a dream. The dream atmosphere usually removes some of the charge, or attachment that is coming from that physically based emotion, feeling, or thought for you, that then enables you to be given the chance to be able to look at it then more circumspectly, or with more detachment.

When your emotional body is connected strongly to your physical body, you often will dream more often in this body. This is usually because you are an emotional person, not having developed as yet a high enough level of consciousness that can act to lift you upwards past these emotions to the other higher planes, such as the mental and etheric levels. These strong emotions that are being experienced in your dreams can help you to remember your dreams, and this then can help you to progress upwards consciously, but only when you have also developed the interpretative skills to be able to analyse such emotional content that has occurred for you in your dreams.

Dreams are lessons being given to us by our higher self, but we must learn the language of our higher self, that speaks to us more in metaphors, or pictures than in words. We must build up our own vocabulary of dream meanings from making an ongoing study into our dreams, and so recording some of the repeated themes and patterns that we will then invariably see as emerging from our dreams, because we will see the slightly varying connections that are always being made for us within our dreams.

The emotion of anger in a dream generally means that some type of dissatisfaction is being experienced in your current earthly life, about your life there, or sometimes even about your lack of a spiritual life. This could be because you have not yet found any real meaning, or significant purpose in your life as yet. On the other hand confusion, or being lost and frustrated, these types of emotions usually also indicate that a lack of purpose or direction exists in your life, and so these dreams are trying to show you that you still need to consciously connect to your life purpose for this particular life.

Actually all dreams have this theme of trying to connect you more strongly to your higher purpose, and so to give a realer meaning to your life for you.

On the other hand again, emotions being overplayed in dreams might be just reflecting a particularly powerful emotional or traumatic experience that has recently taken place for you in your outer life. Negative emotions experienced during a traumatic event in your life, such as one involving feelings of helplessness, fear, depression, or feelings of having been a victim, might stimulate this extra emotional content being present in your dreams.

Is this true though, do some dreams really reflect these outwardly felt emotions that have been stimulated by our recent Earthly experiences, or not?

Dreams create emotional responses to these outer events that reflect the inner truth of the situation. An outer event is mostly only linked into outer stuff, such as emotions, and to the thoughts that are being stimulated, but these must then link back into your soul memories, in order from them to be properly matched or associated with any past karma that has not been fully integratively understood by you as yet.

It is your soul that creates these types of dreams for you. These dreams bring you a deeper linkage to itself, your soul, by allowing the emotions not to be just outwardly displayed, but now to be inwardly felt in a dream, and so as a result of this being now slightly detached from you, and you physical body responses. You see yourself being angry, and you then realise that this response has been caused by a threatening insecurity based response to an outer traumatic event. This is an event that you have not as yet understand the meaning of why it happened, or more significantly, of why it happened to you.

Dreams bring you understanding like this in this way, from showing you the emotional attachment to the trauma or experience, but also by showing you the realer link that goes back to the underlying karma or misunderstanding that has probably taken place in one of your previous experiences in which you have incurred this particular type of karma, in the first place.

Are there really more negative emotions being displayed in a dream than in our waking life? Are these emotions usually also consisting of some of the more instinctive, or basic rawer types of emotions that are being linked into and displayed more so in a dream, than even in our normal waking life or not, and why in fact would this ever be so?

Control of the dreams direction or content by the will, or mind, or ego of the dreamer is being reduced because the content is being controlled by some other part of a person, but what is this part?

Each dream is being hand picked for you by your soul.

The type of dream chosen by your soul for you is being based on your experiences in life up until now, and on your conscious awareness of how these experiences connect into the greater energy of God’s love. Love is the only energy, but it is the conscious lessening of these naturally present higher vibrations of love’s unconsciously always present energy in you that creates all of these other types of either negative, or even for that matter any positive emotions that are present within you.

I include positive emotions here as well because love itself, when fully being lived from, is entirely non emotional, and always non attaching. This is because it is more love’s energy flow that is being linked into, and that you must then allow just to carry you along unconditionally, by always fully excepting wherever it takes you to, and also where it is taking you to, and the way that it is taking you to these places, events, and experiences. You must totally accept both the journey itself, and the places where you end up as well, before love moves you on again past these events towards other new experiences.

When you can totally live only from the flow of love like this, your dreams will interpret the events and experiences for you in light of this love, and so in this way, your conscious understanding of love’s truths will expand and grow in you as well. This will allow you then to build an inner wisdom pool of understanding that is a part of God’s greater ocean of wisdom, knowledge, truth, and love. All of this is consciously being redisplayed in you when you develop the consciousness within yourself to be able to see God’s own wisdom that is previously only unconsciously known by you, but which is now being reflected knowingly in this consciousness mirror that you have created around yourself in which to view it all in.

Dreams are one part of this mirror of consciousness, and emotions are the connective links linking the unconscious truths to the newly acquired conscious understanding of this particular truth. This is why when you allow any emotion to be fully experienced without becoming attached to it in any way, it will always show you this linkage when you travel down the linkage consciously, rather than just following it blindly, and so instead allowing it to erupt itself in you reactively.

When you do not learn all that there is to learn from a dream or from a life experience , these lessons from love will unconsciously be being displayed, and redisplayed, over and over again, until you finally get sight of the bigger picture image, and so learn this lesson of love. Only then can you take the following step and so go onto the next lesson for yourself, on life’s spiritual journey as it has been set up by your soul exclusively and uniquely for yourself.

The dream is trying to show you these old unconscious patterns, and to give you insights consciously about how to understand what is really happening here to you, and so to give you the conscious awareness then to be able to grasp the lessons of love more fully, and so this will finally then allow you then to be able to move then onto your next lesson. We are all here to learn consciously these truths of love, that we all already know unconsciously. The spiritual journey is one taking us all from unconscious knowing to conscious knowing, and dreams are one of the tools that are helping us in finally being able to achieve this outcome.

Emotions in dreams are pointers to this same truth. Follow the emotional link that is within a dream, and you will then find the underlying linkage to the aspect of Love’s truth that this particular dream is trying to show to you.

Can we learn more than one lesson at the same time, or do we just work on one truth of love at a time, before moving then onto another?

Love’s truths are all known unconsciously by you, but they present themselves usually one at a time for you to work on exclusively. Never the less though, at all times, all of these truths are validly present within you, and all are helping you to learn the truth that you are now working on.

You can take a seemingly sideways shift then, and so seem to leave off on a truth for now, in order to work on another truth. When you have looked into this new truth, this new truth which has been looked into now as well will give you an added insight to prompt you now to go back and relearn the truth that you tried to step past or over before. Every truth has to be learned eventually, and all steps jumped over must be revisited at some stage by yourself.

Emotional dreams give you a prompting in this way to revisit old truths that you thought that you already knew all there was to know about them, and so to see them in a new light, and to learn something new about their possible application in your life, in a much wiser way.

Energy Crisis, saving environment.

Energy Crisis

“The polar ice caps are melting, and if they do completely, we’ll have extreme rises in sea level”

“Climate change has caused stronger storms and floods”

“We need to be more environmentally-friendly”

“Polar Bears are dying, because the ice is melting”

Everyone who owns a TV or has access to written media has heard this message regurgitated countless of times. In fact people have heard these same messages, albeit in different forms, since the mid 1900’s. One would think that by now we would have solved this problem: unfortunately the “real” world doesn’t work that way. There have been some major steps taken to combat this issue: coal has become cleaner than before, hybrid cars have come out, being green has the new “in” for a couple of years, there is more investment in alternative fuels, and research is underway on how to extend access of renewable sources to the general public. These are baby steps compared to the vast mountain that the world has to climb. Unfortunately this mountain is steadily getting bigger, due to several reasons.

For one thing the developing nations, such as India and China are beginning to catch up to the United States in both economy and market. It is only a matter of time before they completely overshadow the U.S. This boost requires energy to fuel its course. And what is the food that satisfies this need? The answer is fossil fuels. The bittersweet truth is that although these two countries, and other similar countries, are improving their citizens’ lives, it comes with the cost of polluting the world around us, thus creating giant problems for posterity. Almost all the countries depend extensively on fossil fuels because there’s a lot of it, thus making it cheap. It can also be brought up from out of the earth with a combination of manual labor, low wages and technology. It is also “easy” to convert it into energy and gives out a lot of it (compared to most other alternative sources). And though some countries understand the need to get away from fossil fuels, they’re demand for quick and abundant energy forces them to rely on it; such is the allure of fossils fuels

They are the lifeblood today’s civilization and it has become addicted to it. There’s only so much time before the world overdoses on it. And when that happens? Do the people say:

“Oops! We messed up. Let’s pack up and move to Mars”? So what needs to be done? Thankfully, as mentioned before, the people of this current generation have become aware of what is happening and have taken steps to reduce the impact on their surroundings: changing their lightbulbs, changing their insulation, adding sunroofs. Though these are small things they all add up. And for now it has slowed the rate of emissions, but the world needs to continue to move forward. And in order to do that governments and nations have to come together and make a common commitment to sober themselves from coal and oil in both a local and in a global scale.

Energy politics is definitely the hot button issue moment. And it is because of the different opinions is why the world has made some slow progress. But the support of many countries is needed to achieve this goal, and the environmental summits, especially the one in Bali was successful as many developing nations as well as the United States took the first step by deciding to work together as a globe to reduce emissions.

On a much smaller scale, in California, Governor Schwarzenegger passed a bill known as AB32, whose goal is to reduce California emissions to the amount it was during the 1990’s by the year 2050. Although it may seem a big goal, considering that the rate will have to be reduced by 80%, the fact that the state is known to lead the country in energy efficiency, and with a significant amount of their energy coming from alternative resources and renewables, they have a good chance of reaching their goal, as well as showing the other 49 states to adopt similar plans. California is a prime example of what can be achieved if environmental policy and politics can come and work together. And this is one step of many that the world has to take.

Today’s world is changing. We have acquired an insatiable hunger for energy that will only increase exponentially as the years go by. The present energy source is something the world cannot depend on for a long time. The good thing is that green technology is becoming more efficient, and coupled with the fact that people are becoming more aware of what’s happening, the first steps have been taken, and the world just needs to keep climbing this mountain: for we cannot stay in this path any longer.
