As with many other things, it has good and bad advantages, but it depends on how one takes it, and what one learns from this experience.

Waking in the streets, I spotted a graffiti that read Living alone makes us freer. Rather than making me gesture sourly, it put a smile on me.

I don’t know whether you live alone or not. If alone, I don’t know what it has taught you, if it has. I don’t know whether you could agree on such a phrase written on the wall.

Taking on my experience, all I can say is that it isn’t this bad. Mind you, I differ between living alone and being a loner, in which second case I am not.

I started on my independence as early as nineteen when I took my leave to London. At the very beginning, I lived with some others in the staff accommodation offered by the company I worked for. But finding that it was way too restrictive for a young girl who liked going out and about and liked entertaining at home, even if it was for a coffee and a chat, I left it to live on my own in a bedsit.

I found it grand to own my space, even though, it meant having to pay rents and utility bills. In the staff premises, we also had breakfast or tea, depending on our shifts as well as our room cleaned when we were on early one. Living on my own, I had to clean (thanks God, it was only a bedsit!) shop for food and to cook. I had to provide for myself in all possible ways. There was no one to whom I could go out of the room to cry them out “Please, come here! I need you!” Whether the sink got blocked or the bulbs fused, it was me and only me to sort it out.

Yet, it was good feeling to be able to tell a friend to go along for a coffee and a chat at any time, without having to mind the others.

I am not a loner and I love interacting as conversation is one of my favourite pastimes. I lived with my family and I had a long relationship for many years. When people ask me if I wouldn’t like to live with someone, because it is boring to live alone all the time. I don’t have much time to get bored, I may respond. Would I like living with someone else? Maybe. Trouble is that when we are adults, we become a bit more selective. Whereas, at 18 or 19 one is likely take on almost everything or everybody. I wouldn’t like to live with someone else for the sake of of not living alone.

As they say in temp job agencies as regards an applicant, They should fit in the profile!

There are good things about living alone than a family won’t be able to afford, such as certain foods. Since you’re alone, you may have the luxury of eating some of the best things, because you only need a small portion. Supermarkets and big chain shops have already noticed this trend by creating small portions of these foods that only a big family could have years ago.

When travelling, one will always find a free seat or a free table at a restaurant to suit one’s likes.

Someone asked to me what if you get sick or have an accident. If one happens to catch a flu, one may go to the near shops for some food, for medicines to stay in bed warm with a book in the hands. If an accident, there is the telephone number one can call up at a cell phone at hand’s reach.

After all, we are born alone even if there’s doctor, nurse and midwife around us. When we die, we are also alone no matter how many turn up to our funeral.

Therefore, it is up to us whether we take the most advantages of living on our own.

Am I right or am I not?

The producers of pirates of the carribean have decided to make another movie. I haves not heard a name or location of the movie yet. It will be starring Johnny depp from all the other movies. He is also called captain jack sparrow. If you have not seen any of the other movies I suggest that you do. They are intrestiong and entertaining. In my opinion they are the best series Of movies out. If you dident already know it is set in the medevial times. Also they are pirates I case you dident get that from the title.

Go on... you know you want to! You are bored of the same Christmas dinner year after year. You hate sprouts as they make people fart. The turkey is always dry and you really crave something to eat that is a REAL treat, don't you?

Image via Wikipedia

Some people cook their turkey on Christmas Eve to heat up on Christmas day and risk the build-up of bacteria through re-heating, wondering why they got diarrhoea. Others are up early with the rug rats who know that Santa comes in the middle of the night and leaves all the gifts for them, so they are up at the crack of dawn if not before. So, Mum gets up mildly hung-over from drinking a bit too much of Santa’s little tipple that is traditionally left out for him, and starts cooking the turkey before the sun is up, knowing that it might just be ready for lunchtime around 1pm. Timing has to be right with it all otherwise the veges will be cold when served or the turkey overcooked.

Of course, if the turkey is put into the oven late morning people will be sitting with rumbling stomachs and children will be grumpy if you make them keep their sweets and chocolate until after they have eaten. Or they’ll be equally grumpy having eaten too much chocolate and feeling sick. Projectile vomiting over their dozing Grandmother, the cat or the Christmas tree will not be fun!

And… decisions, decisions… is it beef gravy, chicken gravy or bread sauce with that? Of course young newlyweds will argue about that one since if she decides that bread sauce is correct with turkey and his Mother used to make beef gravy then they have an issue. Personally, I grew up on beef gravy but often wondered about that thinking Surely beef goes with beef and poultry gravy would be more suitable? In saying that I do love bread sauce. No fan of turkey, though I can manage to cook one without it being dry.

Image via Wikipedia

That hurdle over there is the argument about puddings. Not everyone likes the traditional Christmas Pudding. Some prefer Sherry Trifle. Personally, I don’t care about tradition and if I just want to pig out on Black Forest Gateau I will as that is MY Christmas treat! Okay! Last year I decided on a toffee cheesecake… nom nom nom! Santa won’t come back and shoot you if you don’t eat the traditional Christmas Pudding. I cook a mean traditional one with some Victorian charms hidden in it for people to find. I even used to stick to the old tradition of letting the children of the house stir the rich fruity mixture and make a wish, but if you aren’t into it all why do it?

Sprouts… my most un-favourite vegetable. Apart from the bitter taste and the tendency to make people fart… and sprouts with turkey are a lethal combination folks! Greenhouse gasses??? Ew!!! Nothing wrong with substituting broccoli really. The herald angels would thank you for not polluting their airspace and you know your dear old Granddad has a wind problem he blames on the dog! Justice for dogs I say! Why should our canine companions be framed for something they didn’t do? Come on now!

Peas and button mushrooms are nice and don’t produce the methane gas issues. Or what about mashed carrot and parsnip? Heck you can do what you want… it’s Christmas!

I had one massive kick ass triple pepperoni pizza of the home made variety, with extra cheese and black olives one Christmas, but living alone made it easier to indulge my own whims instead of following tradition blindly.

Sherry, Port, Wines… all were part of the Christmas table when I was growing up. Not into them! I’ll leave Port and cigars to the old guys playing To The Manor Born and will stick to a big glass of Tropical Fruit Juice.

Chocolate and Christmas seem to be inextricably linked so I have to say we won’t get far away from that one, especially when people keep buying us lots of it! As if I’m not fat enough! I never think of chocolate all year round. I think this year I will donate all my chocolates to a local chocaholic or something!

So, you are wondering what my Christmas meal will be this year, or if I will even have one at all. Ha ha! You and me both.

So, what will you be eating?

Happy Haunting halloween to all, when designing a pumpkin. Consider getting out of the box. Think difference...

Making a smile is nice. However, how different can you make the smile.

Or consider other designing options. That won’t create stress as you create it.

Get as many ideas as you can. Then do you own doodling.

Incorporating all your options,.

Such as a picture of a cat, portrait of a cats face. A person screaming.

Scraping an area so you can create a whole new creation.

Also, if you use a lighting fixture. Please be careful on the light. Avoiding

real fire in a pumpkin. A hazard waiting to happen. Possibly consider a

mechanical lighting that fits inside the designed pumpkin.

Possibly green lighting, adding bubbly soap if you happen to make a

mouth at the bottom section of the pumpkin.

Also, consider never creating a scaring design. Having respect for the

audience you are showing off.

When you clean out the pumpkin, consider rinsing the pumpkin seeds

and 0 calorie butter spray and cinnamon sugar and nut meg, etc

on them, and bake them until you are ready. Taking tasting tests.

Consider do your homework on buying the lowest price pumpkin.

And, when waiting close to a day etc to carve the design. Your pumpkin

can wilt, possibly. Being patient with yourself when you do the actual

carving/designing. Possibly drawing the design on the pumpkin with a light

color so it won’t seen from a distance. And, getting the right carving tool.

To make a clean cut/carve. Cleaning your area as you go a long.

Frequently, step back to see your progress, as you carve/create.

Having festive Halloween music on, is a gaoling suggestion..

With you to read the article below, you will gain experience to jump into the world of acting.

On stage, the most important skill for any actor or actress is empathy. At the most basic things, empathy is the ability to sense and exactly evaluate a person’s mood and emotions. However, empathy was taken to a higher level can do much more. For thing, empathy lets you exactly imagine the emotions walking through your character. In the same way, you can also convey emotions that envisioned a much greater degree by projecting in to the audience. Contrary to what the acting coach said, when you need to ACT emotions of your character but seldom felt them, the heart of an effective portrayal of the character on stage is that you can generate emotions in yourself and present it to the audience.

Thinking how to get to the action with Action Theater

Empathy

Another nice tip for effective action is the ability to fully immerse themselves in role-play your character. Stage where some actors themselves often retain a sure degree on the stage, in the event you need to be truly effective, you need to forget who you are on stage, while the scene is being enacted, you ARE your character. Do not think of the scene itself; in the coursework of exercise, thinking about the history, mindset, motivation, ambition, and the emotions of your character. Let this form is the way you act on stage.

You ARE your character on stage

Projects with Your Own Everything

A third tip for effective action stage is the ability to project your characters and scenes for the audience with every tool you need. Some people are lucky with excellent sound, or the ability to convey volumes of meaning through facial expressions, body language or expressive. The actor who most often use preferred way of projecting their characters to the audience. However, to truly be effective, you must use any way you need, from the volume and tone of your voice to every small movement, facial changes, and posture.

In harmony together with your team and Audience

Finally, every nice actor must keep in mind not to sink in to himself much. Some actors tend to focus their attention entirely to the – to analyze their own movement, think about what lines to say next, or trying to Emote.Namun, you must also keep in mind that you are working with fellow people on stage, AND that you act for the benefit of the people in the audience. Works WITH fellow actor and actress, supporting them together with your own role, and always keep in mind that the audience out there beyond the stage and that you are fundamentally telling a narrative to their advantage.

Well, actually News Reporters can be sneaky and ask inappropriate..........

Chris Brown

Image via Wikipedia

First of all, Mr. Chris Brown is talented, fresh faced and soooooo very young. He has a long way to go but unfortunately in life, a short time to get there. I hope that he learns he cannot have it both ways. His professional life won’t hold up under his explosive temperament.

Did he have go run amok on GMA after the Interview? I know Reporters can be sneaky with their questions but it is all part of the game. If he had signed anything that said that he didn’t want to be quizzed about Rihanna and they asked anyways, I can understand his discomfort. Maybe some ire even. Personally, I wished he would have reminded my girl Robin Roberts when she even broached the subject that it was understood that nothing regarding Rihanna would be brought up. I did not see the show but a deal is a deal. On a news channel it was said that Chris had signed a waiver of some kind to not be asked about that incident. There are so many people with bad incidences in their past and they DARE anyone to put them on FRONT STREET and as ask them in front of the world. Ask one of those seasoned people like Cher, Whoopi, Queen Latifah, or any savvy person and they would shoot you a glance that you are way off limits. So again, point well taken.

But Chris just didn’t have to go and bust up things with a chair. That’s scary! A window at that. But GMA accepts his apology because they knew that they were wrong as well. I can’t see them not being offended if he acted (no matter how irratic) without some cause. He did have cause to be upset.

Last night on Dancing With The Stars, he performed exceedingly well. This is a good time for Song and Dance men such as Chris and the likes of Usher and others. And this young man is going to make it. Since Mr. Short (tom bergeron) wanted a piece of the action he wanted to have some words with Chris Brown to further fuel some fire. He wanted to ask Chris some snarky question like How was your week? This is what happens to a talentless short glob who hosts a Second Rate show that has gone to the top of the charts. Doesn’t it sound childish and jealous-hearted for Tom to want to get in on an incident that happened last week? No real harm was done. This is exactly why I do root for Chris to not just seek help because it’s been advised as part of the Probation, but because I want to see him feel better about himself because obviously, his talent speaks for itself.

GMA, leave this young man alone. Tom, you suck. Public, pray for him.

Michael Jackson was undoubtedly one of the best (if not the best) entertainers in the world but why?

What is entertaining?

Art is an expression of self. Entertainment is what people consider to be good art. Every form of entertainment has one thing in common, they are able to get an emotional response from people. Entertainment has the ability to make us feel passion, happiness and even lust. When was the last time that you enjoyed listening to a song that made you feel nothing. I would bet never.

Image via Wikipedia

Why was MJ the best?

Well just listen to his songs! In quite a few of them i cannot even understand what he is saying, but the way he says it evokes such electric emotions that the lyrics almost don’t matter as much. If MJ never knew what he was doing then words like “chamon” would make people say “what the hell?” instead of just singing along. Performance wise he was a genius, he had a wealth of tricks and gimmicks to get those emotions bursting from the audience and inspiring them to dance along (which was also very entertaining). Everything he did on stage, from the moon walk to the crotch grab, caused emotions to overflow their banks. After consistently entertaining such a huge amount of people, what was entertaining was not just the mans actions on stage but the man himself. He has reached a point where even just his silhouette is emotionally effective. I’ve seen a concert video where MJ goes on stage (the audience already going crazy as he appears) and stand there for almost a minute doing nothing but standing. When the camera showed the audience, there were people crying and jumping all over the place cheering. After some time the crowd began to calm down slightly. That was until MJ turned his head to look at the other side of the crowd.

Motivational, influential or simply entertaining? What do you do with your power?

With great power comes great responsibility

Being an influential person, you can persuade almost anyone to do your bidding. You recognize their wants, needs and longing and you can persuade them to come over to your camp as you promise them things that they are seeking for.

This is a powerful tool that you wield. You have to be aware of how influential you are and you have the responsibility to use it wisely for the good of mankind if we are to survive this millennium.

Man is weak, greedy and insecure. Once you find that which can strengthen, satisfy and pacify man, you have found his weakness and can then latch onto it and milk it for all its worth if you are looking out for yourself only!

Image via Wikipedia

Whether you are a motivational, persuasive or simply an entertaining speaker, once you know the key to your audience, you are going to be able to connect with them and they will listen to your every word. Your fans will increase and soon you will be having a sell-out convention.

With this power, you have the responsibility to lead your fans to do the right thing or to behave in an appropriate manner. Teach them to be kind, responsible and respect to all – man, animals and the earth. If all world leaders and influential people think alike, we will have a beautiful world to live in as one with no wars or famine.

So, what shall it be?
