This was a project that I had to complete back in 2006 for what was essentially my semester grade in English 102 at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I had just came off of active duty in the Marine Corps about six months prior to this and no less than a year prior to this I was serving my last combat tour in AR-Ramadi, Iraq. This was the first semester of formal schooling that I participated in since I graduated high school in 2000. The assignment was to take a topic we were passionate about, and tie it together with a movie that we enjoyed, and also compare that to Joseph Campbell’s book, "The Power of Myth."
